*against my better judgment i am putting this on here *Chapter 1- Dallas "Mammy don't make me go." Damian pleaded. "You have to; think of how happy it will make your grandmother, and Mrs. Shannon." Damian's mom told him. Damian rolled his eyes, and trudged into the airport. He did not want to go to Dallas, Texas. He did not want to meet this girl, who was related to his grandmother's best friend, and he did not want to go to a new school. He checked his baggage, got his ticket, and went to the gate to wait for his plane that would take him from his beautiful home. "Flight 43 to Dallas is now boarding." A pleasant female voice said over the loudspeaker. Damian stood, put his red backpack on his shoulders. Carrying his pillow, he boarded the plane, and found his seat. "Oh you have got to be kidding me." He said out loud. He had an isle seat, he hated isle seats. This trip was starting out so well for him he thought sarcastically. He plopped onto the chair, and buckled his seat belt. He stuffed his bag and pillow under the seat in front of. Damian leaned is head back, and relaxed, as he waited for the plane to take off. As soon as they were in the air, Damian took out his ipod, and watched one of the few movies he had on it. Hours later, the plane landed, "Welcome to Dallas Texas, current temperature is ninety-three degrees, and time is eight forty am." The captain announced. Damian grabbed his pillow and bag, and stretched. Making his way down the isle of the plane, he finally got off. His mom had told him get a cab to go to the Hilton where he would be staying. His grandmother was paying for the whole trip, and for him to be enrolled in the school. Usually the school he was going to did not accept foreign exchange students, but his grades were high enough, and well he was the guinea pig. "Taxi!" He yelled. "Where do ya need to go?" The driver asked. Damian handed the driver the card with the information on it, and loaded himself and his stuff into the cab, "Can do." The taxi sped off. It occurred to him, he had no means of transportation, while he was here, and he did not know how to drive. He whispered to himself, "You didn't see that one coming did you grammy."

Chapter 2- Buddy
"Mom!" Lauren was reading a letter in disbelief.
"What is it?" Lauren's mom asked.
"Trinity sent me a letter, saying I was going to be the buddy of the new foreign exchange student."
"That is very cool."
"It also says this is something new. And it was a weird pairing, but it had to be that way."
"Well it is a good opportunity."
"Yeah I guess it is." Lauren said, walking out of the living room, turning down a hallway, and into her room.

Chapter 3- Getting Settled
This is a nice hotel Damian thought. The taxi driver helped get his stuff, out and Damian paid him. His mom had given him US currency before he came.
Damian rolled his luggage up to the counter, "Uh, I am here to check in." He stuttered.
"Of course you are." A petite blond with shoulder length hair replied. "Your name please?"
"Oh right, Damian McGinty."
"So you're Mr. McGinty?" She asked.
"I am?" Damian laughed, "No really I am."
"Follow me please. My name is Erin. If you have any questions just ask me. You will be on the third floor; you have free room service, and anything else you need since you are living here. Your grandmother gave us specific instructions. Leave your stuff here." Damian left his stuff at the elevator, and a bellhop came and took them away. She handed him a room key and then led him to a garage, "This will be your car," She motioned to a black Audi.
"Um, I can't…"
"Drive." She finished, "I know that is why, Eric is your driver." A man with curly blond and blue eyes, popped out from the driver's seat.
"Hello." He said.
"Hello." Damian waved nervously.
"Oh the school you will be attending needs uniforms, so you are going to go get those now." Erin smiled and left.
"Well, come on buddy." Eric waved Damian over. Damian walked over, and got into the car. "So what's your name?" Eric asked.
"Damian." He replied.
"I heard that you're from Ireland."
"Yep, and I am dead tired. Stupid jetlag, and supposedly I have to go to school tomorrow; I don't even know my classes."
"Well. I can see that, but your schedule, and books are supposed to be in your room."
"So do ya know what this school is like?" Damian asked.
"Yep. It is a small Christian college prep school. They have a great football team, and the soccer isn't half bad either, basketball is pretty big, but those Trojanettes, that is their dance team, are brilliant. They have some real talent. They also have a big art program, and the choir is not that bad either.
"Cool. How good is their soccer team?"
"Pretty good, they make it to semi finals almost every year. And they have one state once."
"Good to know." Damian said.
"You like soccer?" Eric asked pulling into a parking lot.
"Yeah, I am fairly good."
"Well we're here." He announced parking the car.
Damian looked at the sign on the building it read Parker Uniforms. Eric got out of the car, and locked it. The two of them walked into the store.
"Welcome to Parker, how may I help you?" A brunette man in his late twenties asked.
"I need to get a uniform, for Trinity Christian." Damian said.
"Right." The man pulled out a binder. "Do you know your size?" Damian guessed. The man went into the back room, and came out with a pile of clothes. "Here ya go."
Damian looked at the man in disbelief. He took the pile and went to try them on. There were white polo shirts, kaki pants, kaki shorts, blue pants, and blue shorts. He put on a white polo and the kaki pants. Then he put on the shorts, and the blue pants, and then the blue shorts. All seemed to fit. He put his jeans red Manchester united jersey back on. He gave the man the stuff, and asked for a few more polo shirts.
Damian and the man went to a different counter where he paid.
He and Eric headed back to the hotel.
Damian waved good bye to Eric, as he yelled, "Just call zero zero two when you are ready to go to school tomorrow.
Damian nodded, and headed to the elevator. He pressed the up button, it opened, and he then pressed the button with the number three on it. The door closed, and Damian looked around the elevator. It finally stopped, he found his room, and opened the door.
"Grammy you have out done yourself." He told himself. He set the bag with his school uniform down, and got his computer out, and emailed his mom, telling her everything was all in order.
Damian was tired, but he resisted the big fluffy bed, with white sheets, he would conquer his jetlag. His stomach rumbled he ordered food, and watched television. Finally he decided it was a decent time to go to bed.

Chapter 4- Morning Person
Lauren was not a morning person but she was always able to wake up on school days. She got up, and began her morning routine; today her hair looked decent so she pulled it half up, and straightened her bangs. She ate breakfast brushed her teeth, and got into her school uniform. A white long sleeve oxford (she rolled the sleeves), a grey and navy blue plaid skirt, crew socks, and Birkenstocks. She grabbed her Kanakuk backpack, keys and cell phone, and headed out the door.
"Mom I'm leaving!" She called.
She walked into the garage, where she opened the trunk of her champagne colored '97 Toyota Camry. On the rear window were three bumper stickers, a Kanakuk one, a Texas Tech and one for her schools dance team, the Trojanettes. She got into the driver's seat, opened the garage door, and headed to school.

Chapter 5- Morning Classes
Why so early. Damian slapped his alarm off. He jumped up, and put on his uniform. At least it wasn't ugly. He brushed his teeth; hopefully the schools cafeteria would be open. He finally looked at the schedule. He studied and then got it, the thing rotated. He had periods one through six today, Then tomorrow period one and two changed, and seventh period came before three, with sixth gone. Only six periods a day, with a ten minute passing period between each, well there was chapel between the second and third periods of the day, and lunch between the fourth and fifth periods of the day. It did not seem that hard. His first period was study hall, then physics (he had already taken physics but the school told his mom he should take it again), third he had Bible, fourth Algebra 2, fifth and six were History and English (a combined class), and seventh was French.
He started coughing when he read the word French, "I don't know any French, well I do, but still, I thought I would not have to learn a foreign language. This must be payback for something I did." He said out loud. He looked at the time, and dialed the number Eric gave him. Eric told him to be down in ten minutes. Damian emptied his red back pack, and put his school stuff in it. He headed to the lobby, Eric honked.
The school was not that far away. There was construction going on. Eric dropped him off, at one of the doors, where a lot of kids were going in, most them had driven themselves.
Walking in, he saw two bulletin boards, one was empty but it was for the cheerleaders, opposite of it was a full one with a bunch of girls laughing and having a good time, they all had dance shirts on, so he assumed this must be the dance team bulletin board.
The attendance lady, was next to two wooden doors, and the cheerleading bulletin board, across from her were another to doors that lead into a hallway.
"Excuse me." Damian walked up.
"Hello." She smiled.
"My name is Damian, and I am the new student. I am kinda lost."
"Well, my name is Mrs. Peoples, I take attendance here. Let me check. Ah yes, your from Ireland. Oh and your buddy is great, her name is Lauren Pfieffer, very sweet, good at soccer, and a great dancer. I am also the Trojanettes coach."
"Where do I go for study hall?" He asked.
"You're a junior right?" She asked. He raised an eyebrow, "Oh right, the grades are different over their, this is your second to last year in school over here right?" He nodded, so he was a junior, that would be good to know, "Well you have unsupervised study hall." A bell rang. "But you need to sign in with your study hall teacher. His room is upstairs in the math wing, just go down this hall way, the science wing, up the stairs at the end, walk down the hallway, and his room is the fourth door down on the right. Oh and here is your locker number."
"Thank you." He walked down the hallway. This one smelled of animals, well it was the science hallway. One door at the end of the hallway on the left was open, Damian listened and old man was teaching physics. He heard the word gravity.
Damian walked through the doors at the end of the hallway and up the stairs; another set of doors, this hallways was fairly quiet, except for a female teacher who was yelling something about the distributive property. He counted the doors, and walked in. This room was packed. He went to the other side of the room, there was a piece of paper, with names on it, and initials by the names. He saw his and initialed as well. He then noticed Lauren's name. "So she is in my study hall." He whispered to himself. He made his way out of the room.
He walked down the rest of the hallway, and through the doors, when he came out there were lockers. He walked down the wide hallway of lockers, he came to an octagon hole, "That's pretty cool." He said out loud, looking down, he saw trophy cases. He saw a pole with notices on it, near what he assumed was the main staircase. He went to the other end of the wide hallway, noticing the cubbies with athletic bags stuffed in them. He looked at the note, it sad locker 253. It was a top locker, next it was a sparkly boot with the work Lauren on it. There were a lot of locker signs, for various sports, by far the best ones were the boots.
He unloaded his books into the empty locker, and went through another hallway, that was sort of across from him. This one had a lot of Spanish signs; he assumed this must have been where the foreign languages were taught. He passed a closed door that had the words Coach Harmon on a little plaque above it. A little ways down, there were two rooms. One had a white board outside that said "Bonjour" the other had stories written in French near the door. He assumed that their must be two French classes.
He walked out of the hallway and down another flight of stairs. He saw two pair of doors, the ones on the left led outside, the ones on the right led into another hallway. Damian took a right. He walked into another silent hallway, he saw movie posters, and posters from Nantucket, as he moved on he saw more history related things; this must be where the History English class was. He headed out of the hallway, and came into the main foyer of the building, there were a few lockers, and a lot of them had a red sign that said senior on it, on them.
He saw the trophy cases, athletics were pretty significant, he looked up at the hole, their was another poll with more notices, he saw offices on the right, and on the left between a gap in the trophy cases was a door, that said Library. He saw students in there. He walked in briefly, and was greeted by a blond woman.
"Hello, I am Mrs. Bush. I have never seen you before, are you new."
Damian nodded, "Yes, my name is Damian."
A girl with fairly long wavy hair brown looked up from what she was working on; Damian looked at her and smiled. She was pretty.
"Hope you like it here." Mrs. Bush told him. Damian nodded and with one last look at the girl he headed out. He wanted to find the cafeteria. He was hungry.
Who was that kid? He was cute, but way out of her league Lauren thought to herself. She went back to her work when her stomach rumbled. She put her stuff in her backpack and walked out of the library she headed to the cafeteria, which was located, the left of Mrs. People's desk.
Damian was wondering around trying to find the cafeteria, when the brunette, walked out of the library, she turned the corner and headed into a room. Damian followed. There were a bunch of blue chairs set up, and the girl was gone. He saw a patio outside because the back wall was lined with windows. Damian noticed a computer a table that had food on it, so this must be a multi purpose room he thought. Damian walked into the door, noticing all the caricatures of some of the athletes. He smelled bacon. And he bumped into the brunette.
"Sorry." She said.
"No, no it's my fault." Damian admitted.
Lauren knew this guy was way out her league now, he was Irish.
She walked passed him with a biscuit and water in her hand, she typed a number in and paid. Damian grabbed a biscuit and water; he paid the lady standing there, with cash.
He saw the brunette, sitting in a chair, picking at the biscuit. "Can I sit here?" He asked.
"Sure" she replied.
"I'm new." He awkwardly stated.
"I figured, I didn't recognize you, I have been coming here since I was five."
"Wow. So can you tell me what the deal is with these posters?"
"Oh yeah, they are the senior varsity athletes."
"Varsity?" he asked.
"Oh right, varsity is the step right under college level athletes."
"Cool, so what grade are you in?"
"I'm a junior."
Damian thought it took him a minute to register what junior meant. "Oh me too." He enthusiastically stated.
Lauren frowned, she knew all the girls would want him, and he seemed too sweet and caring to even want to be friends with them.
"Well I have to go finish my French homework."
She said French, Damian thought that maybe she would be in his class. "Bye, see ya later." He said. He looked at the stage. He liked this school. Finishing his biscuit he stood up, he put the water bottle in a pocket on his bag, and headed out of the cafeteria, he saw a man standing near the stairwell.
"Hello." The man greeted, "I am Mr. Morrill and you are?"
"New." Damian replied.
Mr. Morrill laughed, "What's your name?"
"Damian McGinty."
"Are you the foreign exchange student?"
"Yeah."
"Who's your buddy?"
"Lauren Pfieffer."
"She is very sweet, you will like her."
"I have yet to meet her."
"Well usually new students are in all their buddy's classes." Mr. Morrill said. "I think you will meet her next period, but can you come to my office, so I can ask you some questions."
Damian audibly gulped. Mr. Morrill laughed, "You're not in trouble."
Mr. Morrill lead him back through and open door, "What's with all the construction?"
"Getting a new performing arts center." Mr. Morrill explained. Damian nodded, he took him past a reception area, and a few desks, and back into his office, all they talked about were what classes he already had taken, and they joked. Damian liked the principal.
The bell rung and Mr. Morrill was still talking. Mr. Morrill wrote him a note. Damian walked out of the office and a few girls looked at him, he smiled and waved, he headed up the main stairs found his locker, got his physics book and found the science wing again. He made his way down the hallway, and into the science room. He walked in and noticed the brunette. He also noticed the rest of the class staring at him. He walked passed lab tables, and desks, and up to the teacher.
"Sorry I am late." He handed the white haired man a note.
"Its fine Mr." he paused, "McGinty." He looked at the seats, the only empty one was next to Lauren, "before you take a seat tell us a bit about yourself."
The kids in the room were relieved the teacher was putting off the subject for a bit, "Uh, my name is Damian, I am from Derry, in Northern Ireland, and…"
A particularly tall, bulky kid cut him off, "Is it true the Irish have temperaments."
"Shut up Caleb." The teacher yelled.
"Not really." Damian said.
A girl with really curly hair brown spoke up, "Who is your buddy?"
Damian tried really hard to remember, "Uh, Lauren Pfieffer."
The entire class looked at the brunette sitting at an empty table. Lauren's mouth just dropped. "What?" she said.
"You can take your seat now." The teacher said. "Oh and I am Mr. Madden."
Damian walked around the room to the far corner to sit next to Lauren.
Lauren's head was in her hand, "So this is what they meant by weird."
"Excuse me." Damian sounded offended.
"No, not you, the pairing usually a guy is with a guy and a girl is with a girl."
"I see. So you're Lauren, people speak very highly of you."
Lauren blushed, "Good to know."
The bell rung and class was over, Lauren got a little bit from the lesson. She walked to her locker and Damian followed. She opened the locker next to his.
"How ironic?" He smiled. "So what do we have now?" He asked.
"Announcements, tomorrow is chapel, the next day is kinda a study hall type thing, Thursday is worship, and Friday we have assembly at the end of the day, wait I lied, there is a pep-rally Friday."
"Cool, do you know where I would sit?"
"Go ask Speeps who your advisor is, you sit with them."
"Speeps?" he asked.
"Mrs. Peoples the girls on drill team call her Speeps. I guess it is a habit." Lauren laughed. She led Damian to Mrs. Peoples' Desk. "Hey Speeps, do you know who his advisor is?"
"Oh yes, it is Mrs. Young."
"Have fun in that advisee group." Lauren laughed, leading him into the commons, "We call this room the commons, because a lot of stuff happens in here."
"Your advisee group is in the second to back row, and there is your advisor, my group is right behind yours."
Damian went up to Mrs. Young and introduced himself to her. Lauren sat in her seat, and Damian found his. He looked back at her and smiled.
Soon the commons filled, and Mr. Morrill spoke, "What do you call a group of butterflies?" He asked.
The students moaned these jokes, if that is what they were, were getting really old.
Mr. Morrill laughed, "A kaleidoscope, we have a kaleidoscope of announcements today."
The commons gave a sympathetic laugh. The announcements were finished, "Teachers." Mr. Morrill said, "Seniors, freshmen out the back." Then everyone got up. Lauren went to her locker and was talking with friends, when Damian managed to get to his locker. He took out his Bible, and waited for Lauren to stop talking, "Lauren." He tapped her shoulder.
"Libby this is Damian, he's new."
"Hi Damian, see you in a few Lauren." She walked down the foreign language hallway.
"So where is Bible?' He asked.
"I have that class with you too. No offense. But follow me." Lauren headed down the foreign language hallway. She stopped in front of the class room with Coach Harmon above the door.
"Is this guy scary?" He asked
"Not really, just don't argue with him, and if pisses you off just hold the anger in."
"Why would he do that?"
"He is very opinionated."
"I see." They walked into the class room, sat behind a girl with fried blond hair, and Damian sat behind Libby.
"Let's start with roll." Coach Harmon said in a thick accent.
Damian leaned over to Lauren, "Is he a cowboy?"
Lauren whispered, "To put it simply. Yes."
"Looks like we have a new student. McGinty."
"Yes."
"Tell us a bit about yourself."
"I am from Derry, Ireland. That's about it?" Coach Harmon nodded and continued with roll. "I don't think he likes me."
"Well that depends. Are you Catholic?"
"Why would that matter?"
"He, as I said, is very opinionated. Don't let what he says get to you."
"Oh, got ya." He winked one of his big blue eyes.
Coach Harmon lectured the rest of the class period. Finally class was over, "That was torture." Damian said in the hallway.
"But it was a good lesson, he teaches straight from the Bible." Lauren replied.
"Yeah that was good, just the talking on and on and on." Lauren laughed.
They walked out into the hallway, "I have math next," and before Damian could say anything, "You do to right?"
He smiled and nodded. He followed Lauren passed the hole, and down the math hallway, as they walked down the hallway to Mrs. Cordre's room, their math teacher, Lauren was telling Damian how the lockers were set up, "That hallway was the freshmen hallway where all the freshmen lockers are, by the cafeteria is the senior hallway were most of the senior lockers are, the juniors are split between down stairs and upstairs by the History English hallway. But the junior hallway is the one in front of the history hallway; the sophomore hallway is in front of the language hallway. Did you get all that?"
"Will it make you happy if I said yes?" Lauren laughed and nodded, "Yes."
Mrs. Cordre was handing out papers, and Lauren was reading the comic Brandon, a friend of hers, had written on the board. She laughed, and then Damian noticed and laughed too. He sat down in the seat behind Lauren. Caleb who was in many of Lauren's classes was not too happy.
"Yo new kid out of my seat." He said trying to be all gangster and failing miserably. Lauren and Damian laughed.
"I don't see your name written on it." he retorted.
"Very funny."
"Caleb shut up, and sit somewhere else." Lauren told him.
"Why you gotta be mean to me Lauren?" He asked.
"Cause you're a jerk and that is the only way to get through to you."
Caleb was turning red from embarrassment and anger. He went to the other side of the room and sat down, while everyone laughed at him.
"So you're the new guy?" Mrs. Cordre asked.
Damian nodded.
"Would you tell us a bit about yourself?" She asked.
"Sure. I am born and raised in Northern Ireland. That's about it."
"Well let's get started with the lesson." She started to teach then she sang a song, "Hippity hoppity distributive property." She repeated it. The class was suppressing laughter. Damian liked Mrs. Cordre.
The class ended, and it was lunch time. Lauren was sitting with her friends. Damian walked up to a table, with a tall blond guy, a short brunette guy, a medium height brunette kid and sat down. He seemed to have fun with them.
"So you're really from Ireland." The medium height brunette asked- his name was James.
"Yep." Damian replied.
"You know I'm from France." James bragged.
"No your not." KJ, the tall blond, joked, "He only lived there for a while."
"He wasn't born their." The short brunette explained his name was Colby.
Damian laughed, "I see. What sports do ya play?"
"Basketball." KJ responded the other two remained quiet. "You?"
"Football, oh wait, soccer. Forgot I am in America."
"The soccer team is really fun guys, but they can be jerks." James commented.
"Well I am no jerk." Damian assured, as the rest of the guys laughed.
"I am not a jerk either." Trent said sitting down, "I usually play varsity, you thinking about trying out?"
"Yeah, am pretty good." Damian responded.
The guys continued to laugh through lunch.

Chapter 6- Lunch
"So Lauren, you seem pretty close with the new kid." Emma, her red headed friend hinted.
"He is my buddy, and in all my classes."
"You talk to him a lot more than any other guy you know." Maury another one of her friends asked.
"So, he is nice, and really easy to talk to."
"So is KJ." Emma said.
"I get all nervous around KJ though." Lauren admitted.
Emma laughed, "Just go up and say hi, he will think of something to say."
The girls talked and laughed the rest of lunch.

Chapter 7- Is that Legal?
"So what now?' Damian asked as him and his new friends were heading up the stairs.
"Backwork." Colby said, "Time to talk to teachers, catch up on homework, or talk." He laughed.
"I see." Damian said. They sat down in front of KJ's locker. Lauren, Maury, Emma, and Libby soon joined them.
They all talked, and then back work was over, "So," Damian said as he and Lauren walked down the foreign language hallway to go to their history classroom. "Do you like anyone?"
Lauren got real defensive, she was sure he already knew, because KJ probably told him, "No. But I am sure if you listen you can figure it out." They walked to the bottom of the stairs and walked through the doors that lead into the history English hallway they walked into the first door on the left. "Hope you don't mind U.S. history." She sat down, a desk over from the door, Damian said in the one next to the door.
Dr. McBride the History teacher walked over to him. "Are you Damian McGinty?" She asked.
"Yes." He replied.
"Well I am Dr. McBride, your history teacher, welcome to Trinity."
Damian was hoping he would not have to introduce himself again. He did not. Dr. McBride went straight to the lesson. But Damian did not go unnoticed. The few girls in the class stared at him, one particularly annoying girl named Lauren, different than the Lauren who was showing Damian around. This Lauren had a high voice and asked stupid questions.
When it was break she skipped over to Damian, and sat on is desk surprising him. "Hi I am Lauren." She squeaked. "What's your name?"
The other Lauren, Colby, and James were trying very hard to suppress laughter, "I am Damian." He tried to ignore her it worked and she pranced out of the room.
"Is that legal?" Damian asked.
Roars of laughter came from all of them, "Welcome to Trinity, you got the second weirdest girl in school to like you, bravo." James laughed.
Class started again, with Colby, James and Lauren still laughing at Damian. This class seemed longer than fifty five minutes; Damian was relieved when it was over though.
Lauren was leaving the classroom, when Damian grabbed her arm, "Hey um, what now?"
"If you don't have a sport you go home, but I need to go change for drill team, see ya around." She walked off.
Damian just stood their, he walked up stairs, and got the stuff he needed for his homework.
He was walking down the main stairway when a group of girls ambushed him. "Um, I have to go." He told them, making his way down the stairs, KJ saw him and laughed.
"I see every girl in the school likes you now." He said as Damian walked up.
"Shut up. They're not really my type."
"Well what is your type?" KJ questioned.
"Um, tall, brunette, brown eyes, cute, and talkative." Damian blushed.
"So you like someone." KJ laughed.
"Yeah. Don't think she likes me though."
"Why do you say that?" KJ asked.
"Well I asked her, and she said if I listened I could figure it out, plus I saw her looking at a certain tall blond, during backwork today."
"You like Lauren?!" He exclaimed.
"Keep it down." Damian said.
"Well, yeah she does like me. And she is nice; she just gets nervous around me. I guess it doesn't help I get nervous around her too." He laughed.
"So do you like her?" Damian asked.
"Well nothing is set in stone, guess we will see which one of us asks her to homecoming first. Got to go." He waved.
Damian walked to the car where Eric was waiting.
"How was school?"
"Great." Damian let out a sigh.

Chapter 8- I like KJ
Lauren got to the gym, and walked in. She slung her backpack down, and drug her bag into the bathroom, she was the first one their so she began to change, soon Emily one of the officers and Lauren's great friends walked in.
"So Lauren, who is the new kid you were with all day today?" She asked.
"Not you to? He is my buddy, it's a weird pairing, and now that he knows the ropes, I am hoping he leaves me alone."
"Are not in love with him?" Emily asked.
"No. I like KJ remember. He is just a brunette with blue eyes who happens to be Irish."
"Well I think your going to fall in love with him, and merry him. Cause you are the one out of all of us who would merry the Irish guy." Emily laughed.
Lauren rolled her eyes, "I like KJ."
"Let's have some new news." Stephanie, a blond with extremely curly hair said walking in.
"Hey Steph." Lauren laughed.
"So what were y'all talking about?"
"The new Irish kid." Emily informed.
"So he is Irish?" Steph asked.
"Ask Lauren, she talked to him all day." Emily laughed.
"Yes he is Irish, and almost impossible to understand." Lauren told Stephanie.
"Impossible to understand?" Stephanie raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah. He is from Northern Ireland; I think their accents are thicker up there." Lauren said putting her hair into a ponytail.
Emily, Lauren, and Steph left the bathroom in the nick of time, because all the other girls were arriving to change.
"You ready for Jazz?" Steph asked.
"Of course." Lauren said.
Soon the rest of the drill team had changed, they started to stretch.
"So has anyone been asked to homecoming yet?" Kenzie, the captain asked. A few sophomores raised their hands.
"I think we all know who is going to ask Lauren." Emily hinted.
"Oh who?" Kenzie asked.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Lauren said, going down into her right split. "I have never been asked to homecoming, I don't think a guy will anyways."
"Lauren come on KJ is bound to ask one of these days." Steph said.
"It's not KJ." Emily giggled.
"Emily, Damian is not gonna ask me out. He is way out of my league, plus every girl in the school likes him." Lauren explained, switching to her left splits.
"Who's Damian?" Jessica, the tall second lieutenant with chin length blond hair asked.
"The new foreign exchange student." Emily explained. "Who for some weird reason was chosen to be Lauren's buddy."
"Foreign? Where is he from?" Kenzie asked.
"Ireland." Lauren said, going into her middle splits; she was turning red in anger.
"An Irish boy likes Lauren." Shelbi, a happy red head said. "Oh the irony."
"He does not like me." Lauren said her anger evident.
"Well we will just see who asks you." Steph said.
Lauren rolled her eyes; no one was going to ask her to Homecoming.
They practiced till six; Lauren walked to the parking lot, hopped into her Camry and drove home.
"How was your day?" Lauren's mom asked.
"Well everyone thinks I like the new kid, who is Irish, and a guy, which is why it is a weird pairing. Just shoot me now." Lauren said setting her back pack, and drill team bag down.
"Well hope you have a better day tomorrow." Lauren's mom told her.
"I hope so." Lauren sat down on the couch.

Chapter 9- Le Football
"Hey Eric what's homecoming?"
Eric laughed, "Really, you don't know?" Damian shook his head. "Well it is a huge football game where the school's alumni come back and watch the game it is huge, and then the high school kids have a dance the next night on Saturday."
"I see so huge football game, and a dance. Why is it such a big deal?"
"Your in Texas, football is a big deal, and well, it just is." Eric commented. "You thinking on asking someone?"
"Maybe, she is really nice, and the only girl at the school who doesn't seem fake. Plus she dances, and I was told se was good at soccer."
"Grab her while you can she sounds like a keeper." Eric laughed.
"She doesn't think so." Damian sulked.
"Still, ask her." Eric comforted.
They got to the hotel; Damian climbed out of the car and headed to his room. He sat on his bed and began to do homework. Well that did not last long, because he woke to the sound of his alarm clock.
"Oh really. Stupid jetlag." Damian got up, and changed his shirt, and pants, he flattened is hair, and called Eric. He brushed his teeth and headed down.
"Hey Damian." Damian jumped in the car, and they headed to school.
Upon arriving Damian saw Lauren get out of her car, he made a mental note of what it looked like.
He walked into the building, and was headed up the stairs when an energetic blond stopped him. "Hi, I'm Abigail."
"Hello Abigail." He said trying to push past her.
"So you're new."
"Yep, can I…?"
"Go out with me?" She cut him off.
"No, I am not interested." He stated in a rather offended tone. "Sorry. I just need to get up the stairs."
Abigail had never been rejected, she looked as the tall brunette Irishman walked up the stairs. Damian was shaking his head. Lauren was sitting in front of her locker he smiled.
"Good morning."
"Good morning." She said finishing her physics homework. Not looking at him.
"What's the matter?" He asked.
Lauren looked straight into his blue eyes. And they were blue. He looked into her dark brown eyes, he normally didn't like brown eyes, but Lauren's twinkled.
"Oh just the fact, that all my friends think I like you."
"I see, so you don't like me." He looked taken back. "Well I think you are the only girl who doesn't"
"No, I didn't mean it like that, you're just a friend. I have liked this other guy since before freshmen year, and he probably thinks I am nuts but still."
"He doesn't think your nuts."
"So you know."
"Yeah."
She paused at the awkward moment, "Did you get question number three on physics?" She asked changing the subject.
"Yeah." Damian answered; he still remembered most of what he learned in physics. "The answer is Newton."
"Thanks." Lauren wrote Newton, and closed the book.
"So how was drill team yesterday?" he asked.
"Stressful, but today is worse, because after drill team I got soccer practice. Hey you can come watch practice if you want."
"Sure where is it?"
Lauren took her pen and wrote it on the back of his hand. He thought she had very soft hands. Maury, Emma, and Libby soon came and joined them. Damian and Lauren headed to physics, a very uneventful class. Study hall was next. Lauren was working on her math. Damian was talking with Landon and Hamilton two kids in their study hall. He became quick friends with them. Study hall ended, and it was time for chapel. Damian was leaving Lauren alone today, mainly because the junior girls kept ambushing him. He told them all he was not interested.
French was next; Damian was looking forward to this class. He finally managed to talk to Lauren, "Hey where is the third year French class?"
"What you're in that too?" She sighed rolled, and rolled her eyes, "Follow me." She led him to one door past Coach Harmon's. She walked in. "Hi Mrs. Cox. This is Damian, he is new."
"Hello Damian. I'm Mrs. Cox, your French teacher. How much do you know?"
"Not much, but I know the basics." He explained.
"So you're the new Irish kid." She laughed, "You'll be fine."
Damian laughed.
"Mrs. Cox, guess what, my grandmother is paying for me to go to Ireland over Christmas…" Lauren sat down, in the first row near the door, and empty desk was on either side of her.
"Yeah, now you don't have to worry about the Europe trip not going their." Mrs. Cox joked.
The rest of the class filed in slowly, Brandon the kid who drew the comic in math sat down behind the first desk, and in the row closest to Mrs. Cox, Rachel a really short blond girl sat behind Lauren, Michael a kid in history with Lauren and Damian sat down to the right of Lauren. Shea, a girl with long brown hair sat beside Brandon, Kevin a kid with brown hair sat in front of Shea. James came in and sat next to Rachel. Jon, a really muscular brunette sat in front of Brandon. Then a tall lanky brunette, named Ben, and a short brunette named Andy walked in, they took the seats in the middle row, Andy sat in the front.
"Damian sit in the desk next to Lauren." Mrs. Cox instructed.
Damian sat. "So you're the new kid." Shea said.
"Yeah." Damian said, "I'm new, I was born and raised in Northern Ireland, and I love football, I mean soccer."
"Soccer." Michael turned to him. "What position?"
"Striker, but I play mid too." Damian explained.
"Nice, I am a mid as well."
"Michael, lets pay attention." Mrs. Cox said.
"But he wasn't…" Michael trailed off.
"Today we are going over emotions." She sat down at her desk, and began the power point. Everyone was making comments about the pictures on the slides. Damian was laughing and remembering a bit of the French he knew.
Class ended with no homework but a quiz Friday, the rest of the day went well. Damian was looking forward to tonight. He couldn't wait to see Lauren play soccer; he wondered what position she played. He wondered how good she was, he soon found out.
Lauren had arrived about the same time he did, she was in white lime green t-shirt with the word electric written on it in black. Her cleats were black, and her socks were lime green, her shorts were black. The rest of the team was wearing white shirts with the shock in lime green lettering them all had the lime green socks and black shorts. Lauren set a red duffel down, and pulled out a pair of white gloves.
Eric walked up behind Damian, who was sitting on the bleachers, "So she is the girl?" He asked.
"Yep, her name is Lauren. She also is the person who is showing me around school." He looked at the field. The girls were warming, "Do you know anything about the team."
"Well my friend's sister is on it, they are very selective, and probably the third best in the state." Eric explained.
Damian looked at Lauren going to the goal. The girls were taking shots, she blocked all of them. "Lauren is a beast." He commented.
"Lauren is the best goalie in the state." Eric said.
Damian focused his attention on Lauren, she was really good. Her practice ended, she walked up to him "Glad you could come." She said. "You want to kick the ball around for a bit. Hey Eric." She waved.
Damian stuttered, "Uh, yeah sure."
"So why is Eric here?"
Damian nervously laughed, as Lauren got a ball out of her bag, "He is my driver, seeing as I don't know how to drive, and if I did it would be for the wrong side."
"I see." She said tossing him the ball. "So you're a striker, let's see if you can get past me." She challenged.
Damian took the ball and started to juggle it, as Lauren got in one of the goals; he dribbled, and took a shot. Lauren blocked it with ease. "Is that all you got." She taunted.
"Just warming up." He laughed. He dribbled again, and took another shot. Once again she blocked it. He tried again, and failed to get past her. "Alright I give up, let's just pass for now." He said. Lauren was amazing.
She came out of the goal, and Damian passed the ball to her. She kicked it up, juggled it, and passed it back. He caught it with his chest, did a few juggles and passed it back. They were both in their element. Lauren was smiling; Damian thought she had a great smile.
"Hey I got to go Damian," She paused, and walked up to him, "Do you have a nick name or something, Damian is a mouthful.
"Yeah, you can call me Damo, or D."
"Alright, see ya tomorrow Damo." She called, grabbing her bag, she headed to her car.
Damian was still holding her ball. "Hey Eric, time to go." Damian called. They walked to the car and headed to the hotel.
"What's with the ball?" he asked.
"Lauren forgot it; I will give it to her tomorrow."

Chapter 10- Chemistry, well actually it's Physics
Lauren always got to school early, she was sitting in front of her locker once again working on her least favorite subject (well next to math) physics.
Damian walked up the stairs, soccer ball in one hand. "Good morning Lauren." He smiled. "You left this yesterday." He dropped the bright red ball, it landed in her lap.
"Keep it." She said handing it back up to him. "Stupid physics." She whispered under her breath.
"Do you need help?" Damian asked sitting down.
"No, I will just fail physics like the rest of the grade." Lauren said sarcastically.
"Okay I won't help you." He turned his back to Lauren, and crossed his arms.
Lauren rolled her eyes, "Can you help me?" She asked.
"Let's see what I can do." He grabbed her paper, and began to help her.

Chapter 11- Cute Couple
"Look at them." Emma said sitting on the other side of the hallway. "They would make the perfect couple."
"I don't think she likes him in that way though." Maury said.
"Oh they are too cute though. At least she talks to him." Emma looked at KJ.
"She gets nervous around me."
"Maybe if you talked to her first." Maury suggested. "That's what he does."
"Yeah he is also in all her classes." KJ rolled his eyes.
"Cute couple or not, she still likes you KJ." Libby said sitting down, "Emily told me they were talking about it yesterday."
"KJ, if I were you I would ask to homecoming soon." Emma suggested, "Or he is going to ask her."
KJ thought, "I will ask her on Sunday."
"So how are you going to ask her?" Emma asked in a sing song voice, Maury and Libby leaned in.
"I have not thought that far yet." He smiled.

Chapter 12- Ask her on Saturday
The bell was about to ring, Damian helped Lauren up, and they went to go sign into study hall. With another uneventful day ahead of them Damian took advantage of the free period everyone had on Wednesday to ask Emma a question.
"Hey Emma, I need to talk to you. In uh, private."
"Sure." Emma got up. "I know the perfect place." She led Damian into an empty classroom. "What do you want to talk about?" She asked.
"I want to ask Lauren to homecoming."
"Really?" Emma said, smiling.
"Yeah. When and how should I do it?"
"I should not help you, but I am." Emma said. "Don't tell KJ. He will be furious; just don't let a girl get in the way of your friendship."
Damian raised an eyebrow. "Huh."
"Never mind. Ask her on Saturday."
"Why then?"
"Just because. She also has a huge soccer game."
"Really?"
"Yeah. Don't worry they will either win or tie, no one has scored on Lauren, ever."
"So then what?"
"After the game, wait around a bit, do something you know she will like, and bam ask the question."
"Thanks so much Emma."
"No problem. I am routing for you two."
"Thanks." He sarcastically said shaking his head, smiling, and leaving the room. The free period was over, and Damian headed to history.
During history Damian asked Lauren, "Where is your football, I mean soccer game this Saturday?"
"Same place practice was." Lauren responded.
Classes went on; Damian spent lunch finding out what Lauren thought was romantic.
"I like a guy who can sing. I am a true romantic. Anything cute is awesome."
"Good to know." This was going to be easy to win her heart, Damian thought.
Lauren thought he was being weird. But he was a guy she could talk to without help from her friends.

Chapter 13- Nice Save
Lauren had soccer practice again, Damian was there.
"She is so pretty." Damian said to himself, he was watching her ponytail swish back and forth. Unlike the first day he met her, her hair was straightened today, and the way the fairly high pony tail went to the right side of Lauren's head, just looked so pretty. Damian also noticed her legs. Her calves and thighs were very muscular; he guessed it was from both dance and soccer.
Lauren jumped up to block a ball. Damian saw that she got a lot of air that must have come from her dance training. He was mesmerized by her rhythm.
Practice was ending and once again, and Damian and Lauren kicked the ball around.
"So is this going to be a regular thing?" Lauren asked.
"Depends, do you want it to be a regular thing?"
Lauren smiled, and passed the ball to him, "Well it's your choice; I have to be at practice, you on the other hand choose to be here."
"Well I think I choose that this become a regular thing." Lauren did not want this to become a date, and Damian noticed because instead of passing the ball back, she stopped it and put her foot on it, she looked at him. "It helps to keep practicing soccer, when I am not on a team."
"Nice save, almost as good as mine." Lauren joked, as she passed him the ball. He laughed; he could not wait for Saturday.

Chapter 14- Which One do you Like Better
On Thursday, Lauren reminded Damian that Friday was a jeans day. Other than that friendly reminder nothing happened until Friday.
Friday rolled around; Lauren had early morning field practice for drill team so everyone could get their placements. She then got to do something she absolutely loved, teach her middle school Bible study, with probably her two best friends, Libby, and Brianna.
Damian wandered where she was all morning, "KJ, where is Lauren, is she sick?"
"No, she had drill team practice, and then she teaches middle school Bible study, she usually comes in with Libby." He paused, "Speaking of, there they are."
Lauren was putting her drill team bag, and hat into one of the cubbies. "Hey." Damian said walking up.
"Hey." Lauren said turning around.
"Nice shirt."
Lauren looked down to see what shirt she was wearing. It was a yellow Manchester United jersey, not just any yellow jersey though; it was an Edwin Van Der Sar's jersey. "Thanks. Yours is nice too."
Damian looked at his own blue Man U jersey. "Van Der Sar your favorite?" He asked.
"Yep. Best goalie in the league in my opinion."
"Hey Lauren." KJ nervously waved.
"Hey KJ." Lauren replied, the conversation with KJ awkwardly ended their.
"I don't get it, you like him, but you don't talk to him. And you don't like me, in that way, yet you talk to me."
"I'm a girl, we are complicated like that." They laughed. "You excited for the pep rally today?"
"Sure, should I be?"
"Uh, yeah. They are really fun plus I am performing, you should come to the game tonight as well... you might not get the rules, but I perform at half time, you would enjoy that." She smiled, and headed off to math to get help on her homework.
Damian was excited, he had heard all week from Lauren's friends that when she danced she was in her element (even though she seemed in her element defending the goal), she brought and excitement to the dance, especially in her face. He was told that it was obvious she loved to be out there, and she wanted to be out there.
The pep rally was coming closer and closer, Mrs. Cox let Lauren and Rachel leave early from French. The two of them walked over together, Rachel went to the cheerleader's locker room, and Lauren went to the drill team locker room.
All through lunch Damian was wondering where Emma went, in fact all of Lauren's friends had disappeared, he figured they all must be either cheerleaders or Trojanettes.
A drum cadence could be heard from the patio, "D come on!" KJ called. Damian walked with KJ, Trent, and James to the pep rally.
Soon they were seated. Damian noticed Lauren in black jazz pants a rose behind her right ear, and she had a red and black top, she was holding blue pom poms. The drill team seemed to be making a pathway in front of a giant inflatable football helmet. It was only next to the rest of the drill team, did Damian realize how tall Lauren really was. He hadn't noticed before because they were almost the same height.
The band started to play the fight song, and a bunch of guys in royal blue football jerseys walked out of the inflatable helmet and to the center of the gym. They did this cheer, and went to a bunch of grey chairs that were set up.
The drill team went to the back of gym, across from the bleachers, and stood in a line, there were twenty seven of them. The cheerleaders started to do the class yell.
"Hey freshmen are you ready?" They yelled.
A group on the far left side (from the drill team's point of view) stood up and yelled, "Oh yeah!"
"Hey freshmen are you ready?"
"Oh yeah!"
"Hey freshmen get on down." The freshmen started to dance to a drum cadence the cheerleaders moved on to the sophomores, and then the juniors. Damian did not dance; neither did most of the grade.
KJ leaned over to him, "senior year we are going to go crazy." He laughed.
The cheerleaders moved to the seniors who were already standing, they started to scream. After the class yell then the pep rally moved slowly.
Then the announcer, who Damian had seen in the math hallway, announced, "And now introducing by name our Trinity Trojanettes." Damian soon realized how many there were, he came to Lauren's name, "Junior, Lauren Pfieffer." Damian screamed, along with the rest of Lauren's friends. The rest of the team was introduced, and they got into a triangle formation, with their arms gracefully placed behind them. The music started they did a few snaps, and then sharply turned their head's towards the front. The routine went on, and then the song changed to Let's Get Loud. Damian was intently watching Lauren, her kicks were the highest on the team, and she had pretty leaps. Damian noticed though, that unlike in soccer where Lauren was concentrated, she was concentrating, but she was smiling, she was in a completely different element. He made it his goal to figure out which she liked better.
Their dance ended, and Damian was amazed, Eric was right, they were good. Well he didn't really see all of them considering he was focused on Lauren.
"What can't she do?" Damian asked KJ.
"I don't know, but she is amazing isn't she." KJ replied, and Damian nodded.
Damian noticed the drill team girls, were standing waiting around, getting hugs from various people.
He walked up to Lauren, "Wow. You're amazing."
"Thanks." Lauren said.
"So which do you like better, dance or footy?"
"Footy?" Lauren asked.
"Oh right, in America, which do you like better dance, or soccer?"
"Hard question, I don't know, I get different feelings from both of them."
"So if you had to choose one to for the rest of your life which one would you choose?"
"Another hard question, probably soccer, I can always dance for fun, but the buzz I get playing soccer is like no other. Every time I block the ball, it is so exciting."
"So you would choose football. I mean soccer."
"I guess I would choose soccer." She smiled. "You also don't have to worry as much about what you look like." She laughed. "I need to change, but I will see ya Monday, wait no you said you were coming to the game tonight right?"
"Yeah, and your match on Saturday."
"Oh right, the game tonight is at the stadium you can't miss it, you passed it coming over here. And you know where the match is. See ya tonight." She waved, and disappeared into locker room to Damian's left.

Chapter 15- Lime green. Problem. Answer. Dublin Texas
The football game had already started. Damian was in the student section watching, and being very confused at the same time. He understood the concepts but most of it was just weird to him. No one was explaining it to him, but he did like all the energy and spirit the school had.
Lauren was not allowed to talk to anyone who was not on the drill team during the game, but she did briefly tell him that she had third quarter off.
Half time came; the girls were doing a hoop routine. Damian did not think it looked that hard. But he was not out on the windy field, trying to keep his arms straight. This routine although quite simple, took a lot of endurance, and arm strength. The hoops were black with silver streamers on one and blue streamers on the other.
With halftime coming to an end Lauren was standing in line at the concession window, when Damian walked up.
"Ya know." He said, "Your smile can be seen from the stands."
"Thanks." Lauren smiled.
"And I think it would be a crime to keep your dancing from the world."
"So." Lauren was confused.
"So, if ya had to pick just one dance or footy, you could pick both." He laughed.
"You are kinda dorky." Lauren laughed. Damian looked offended, but before he could say anything, Lauren told him, "I kind of like it."
She stepped up to the window, "Can I get a Dr. Pepper please."
"Sure." The sophomore said.
"Dr. Pepper?" Damian raised an eyebrow.
"Can I get another Dr. Pepper?" Lauren asked.
"Yep." The sophomore went away and came back with two foam cups.
Lauren took them, and handed one to Damian. "You can't live in Texas, and not have a Dr. Pepper. It's like a crime. Plus the stuff was invented here." She paused, "To be more specific, in Dublin, Texas." She emphasized Dublin.
Damian smiled, "Well." He looked at the dark brown fizzy drink. "Since it is from Dublin, Texas." He laughed, and took a sip. His eyes got really big, "This is great."
"I knew you would like it." She laughed taking a sip.
"So what's with the sparkly cowboy get up?" He asked.
"It is what we wear; all drill teams wear something similar to it."
"I see." He took another sip. "Are ya nervous about your match tomorrow?"
"Not really, it's an easy team." She said. "Since you're going you might want to wear lime green, it is our teams color, every one wears it."
"Problem. I don't have a lime green shirt."
"Answer. Just swing by my house after the game, and I can loan you one."
"Really?" Damian asked.
"Yeah no problem. Give me your phone, and I will type in my address." Damian handed her his phone, she typed in her address. "Just tell it to Eric, he will know how to get there. He is always with his best friend, when his friend is supposed to pick his sister up."
"Awesome." Damian said. Lauren looked at the score board. She had about a minute left of third quarter. "Hey can you explain the game to me."
"Yeah, but later, I got to go back to the stands now, if I don't I will get a demerit, see ya later." She waved, and headed towards the drill team box.
The rest of the game went by rather slowly, but the Trojans won. Damian left; Lauren had stormed the field to talk to some of the players.
"Eric, can you take me to Lauren's house?"
"Can do, just don't do anything bad." He warned.
"I am getting a lime green shirt from her."
"I see."
After about fifteen minutes, they were parked behind a green car, in front of Lauren's house. Damian got out of the car and walked up the front path, and onto the front porch. Taking a breath he knocked. He heard a dog barking. A woman opened the door.
"Hello." Damian breathed out.
"Oh you must be Damian; Lauren called and said you were coming over. I am her mom. Please come in. She will be her soon."
Damian stepped into the tile entry way, to his right was a dining room, and through a pair of doors, was what appeared to be the kitchen. In front of him was a living room. "Feel free to sit in the living room, or you can go to her room. Don't worry it is clean."
"Thanks." He smiled. He noticed a dachshund jumping up on him.
"That's racetrack." Damian smiled again and pet the dog; he then looked back up at Mrs. Pfieffer. "Oh through that door, all the way down the hall last door on right." She motioned to a door that was right off the entry.
Damian walked through it. Right in front of him were two picture frames, one had various school picture of Lauren; the other had various school pictures of another girl, most likely her sister. Walking down the hallway he noticed about seven or eight shadow boxes with medals in them. They were all for baton twirling. Damian would have to ask her about that. He came to the last doorway and opened the door.
Damian was greeted by a queen size bed, with a lime green comforter, and pillows, with the Roxy logo on them. A long dresser and a TV were to his immediate left. A vanity was sort of in front of him. On the left wall, there was a window, with a chair with a brown blanket on it in front of it. Hanging down from the window, were these big flower things with streamers on them. She had a teddy bear in a purple soccer jersey on the left side of the bed. On the right side of the bed were a book shelf and a guitar. Above her bed was a painting of a surfboard, she had a bunch of playbills from musicals to the left of it. And posters filled all the other blank spaces on her walls.
Damian sat down on her bed, and waited.
He did not wait that long. "Hello." She said walking in.
Damian just looked at her, she was carrying her hat, she was wearing black shirt with the green lettering that read Electric Shock. Her white boots were in her hand; on her feet were a pair of shoes that were splatter painted. "You gonna say anything?" She asked.
"Oh yeah right, um Hi."
Lauren laughed. She set her boots and hat down in the hallway. Taking her shoes off, "What size shirt do you wear?" She asked.
"Uh, medium." Damian guessed.
"Perfect." Lauren started digging through her drawers. She pulled out her favorite shirt, "This one should fit." She handed it to him.
"Thanks. So what's with all of those things?" He asked pointing to her window.
"Oh those are mums, it is something the girls get on homecoming, and the guys get garters, to wear on their arms."
"Oh. They look like a pain."
"They are." Lauren laughed.
"I like your room it's very, you."
"Yeah, and I am not on my team just because the main color is lime green though" she laughed.
"So it is your favorite color." Damian said raising an eyebrow.
"What made you think that?" Lauren laughed.
"Thanks for the shirt, I will see ya tomorrow." He got up and left.
When he got in the car, he was smiling. "You know, judging by that smile, I would say you are madly in love with this girl."
Damian looked at him, "I am."
