Since Searphe finally updated how to train your thunder dragon Chapter 29- You Forgot My Birthday?! Lauren had a few things to do on Sunday, she had to get Damian a gift for his birthday, which was tomorrow. She drove to Target, and started wondering around. She made her way to the toy isles. She then saw a teddy bear. It was beyond perfect, it was a white polar bear with blue eyes. Lauren laughed to herself and grabbed the bear from the shelf. As she made her way back to the front Lauren got quite a few weird looks. She stopped by the guys section, and looked at the wallets. She thought for a while, then picked up a pretty pricey light brown one. Lauren was walking up the main stairway the next day, Monday, September ninth. Balloons were in one hand, and a wrapped gift in the other, and rather large polar bear was under her arm. Some seniors who were sitting in benches that lined the grand hallway gave her weird looks. Nothing was that weird about carrying balloons, a gift, and a polar bear. She set the balloons down, well she tried but they rose to the ceiling. She opened Damian's locker and put the polar bear inside. She set a note on it that red, "This entitles you to one free hug. You only one got one change bucko use it wisely." Closing his locker she opened hers, she unloaded her back pack, and pulled tape out of her locker. Why she had tape in her locker was a mystery. She quickly and gently stuffed Damian's present into her back pack as she pulled a few papers out of her locker. One was a cropped picture of Damian from homecoming, with the black Audi that wasn't actually his; she taped it to his locker along with the balloons. She then went around school taping up the other pictures, which had things written on them like, "Look who's seventeen," and "Wish Damo a happy birthday." Lauren then went to sit in front of her locker, like always she was trying to understand physics. Damian came walking up the stairs and saw a sign on the poll, the sign happened to be one of the ones wishing him a happy birthday he just smiled. He walked to his locker, and noticed the colorful balloons, and one that was in the shape of a soccer ball. "Now I wonder who could have done this?" he said loud enough for Lauren to hear. Lauren smiled, he opened his locker, and saw the wrapped present, "What do we have hear?" He took the polar bear and note forgetting about unloading his books and opened it. His smile grew. He sat down beside Lauren, "I really like it." "Like what?" She asked pretending not to know a thing. "My gift." He smiled. "What gift?" Lauren started to giggle. "My birthday gift." He bluntly stated. "Today is your birthday?!" She exclaimed. "I totally forgot." Damian had believed her, "We had a talk about this Friday, how could you forget my birth
" He paused, noticing Lauren's laughing fit. "Thank you for my gift." He stated, crossing his arms. He enjoyed Lauren winding him up, but sometimes she wound him up too well. "Oh that gift. Your welcome." "How did you know I needed a teddy bear?" "I guessed." She laughed. "Well thank you." He hugged her. "That was not my free hug, and am taking the advice and saving it." He showed her the note, and put it in his pocket. "Oh and happy birthday." She whispered in his ear. She pulled out his actual gift. It was wrapped in red wrapping paper. He ripped it open, well not all guys can neatly open gifts. "How did you know I needed a wallet?" "I saw it in the store, and thought you would like it." All through out the day, people were wishing Damian a happy birthday. Everyone was also telling them, they were the cutest couple at the dance. It was right before announcements, and Lauren needed to talk to the soccer coach who was conveniently standing under the hole. "Hey coach Findley." "Hey Lauren." "I just wanted to remind you, I am going to be late for tryouts due to drill team. I hope you don't mind." "Not at all, you're the best goalie in the state. I think it would be a crime if I minded." The some what short man with black hair smiled, and went to his office. Not only was he the soccer coach he was the campus minister. Damian asked, "Why are you going to be late to Soccer tryouts?" Lauren looked at him, "You did not just ask that?" "Is their something wrong with the question? Did I phrase it wrong?" Lauren looked at him again; she was waiting for the light bulb to go off inside his head. "Think about it Damo." His eyes got wide from embarrassment. "Oh right, you have drill team." Lauren nodded, "Right." She said in a mocking tone. The two of them took their seats in the commons. "What do you call group of fish?" Mr. Morrill opened. The school moaned, and replied in unison, "A school." There were few sympathy laughs, and Mr. Morrill continued with announcements. "Boys and girls soccer tryouts begin today and now an announcement from Mr. Findley." He stepped away from the mic, and Mr. Findley stepped forward. "Hey guys. We have decided to put a coed team in a league this year. You have to tryout for soccer to be considered for the coed team. If you are interest please contact Mr. Write or my self, we will be the coaches. Tryouts for that will be held next Monday and Tuesday. Thanks." Lauren and Damian looked at each other, they had the same idea. Announcements ended, and Lauren and Damian were sitting next to each other before Bible started. "Are you gonna do the coed team?" Damian asked. "Of course, I have wanted Trinity to have a coed soccer team for years. Even if it is just a league team we will still have one." Lauren was beaming. "Coed is always so much fun." Damian said. "The girls play a lot rougher but it is still really fun." "The girls have to play rough otherwise the boys will just mow over them." Lauren laughed. By the time lunch rolled around Lauren and Damian were getting tired of all the compliments from homecoming. Not that they weren't great, but when you hear "You're a great singer" or "You're an amazing dancer" over fifty times, it gets kind of annoying. "Damo, I'll catch up with you in a minute." She told him, as he headed into the cafeteria. Lauren was waiting by Speeps' desk, when her dad arrived with a big red box. "Thanks daddy." "No problem." The man who looked like he belonged in the mafia replied, as he hugged her. Lauren took the box and opened it. Her mom had ordered it Friday, after Lauren texted her telling her when Damian's birthday was. Lauren told her mom what she wanted on it, and her dad brought it too school. It was a large cookie cake, with red and white icing, and teddy bear on it. It ready Happy Birthday Damian. Her dad left, and she was soon joined by her friends. "Y'all ready?" She asked. They all nodded and smiled. Damian was sitting alone at a lunch table, every started singing "Happy Birthday", and he spit out his water. He turned around and smiled. Lauren presented him with the cake. He laughed. The finished and he said "Thanks guys." The day ended, and drill team was really slow. Lauren wanted to get on the field, and into the goal. Football took up half the field, girls soccer took up the other half and boy's soccer was running timed miles. Soccer tryouts were long and brutal but Lauren loved them. Eventually Mr. Findley had to get in the goal, so the possible varsity candidates could actually make some goals. It was one thing to practice shooting, but the girls needed to know they could score goals. When Findley was in the goal, Lauren was watching the boy soccer players run the mile. She had never seen Damian run before, but he was going at a nice pace he was in the lead. He was sprinting as if he were walking. When ever he passed Lauren he would nod, smile, and go faster, he felt as if he needed to impress her. Every time Damian tried to show off Lauren would smile and laugh. Soccer tryouts ended for the day, but Lauren was not finished with Soccer yet. She had a special practice today, one Monday of the month she had a one on one, with the coach of the pro soccer team FC Dallas. She was really good, and showed tremendous potential and the coach really like that. He coached her on Trinity's campus. When all was said and done, Lauren was extremely tired that Monday. And Damian thought he was going die because he ran a four minute mile. But both were glad, for the coed team. Damian was glad to being playing soccer at all. And Lauren was glad school soccer had started up. Damian was watching her private practice, he thought she was really good, and she was not just a goalie, she could kick too. He thought she would make a fairly good striker. "Come on Damo." She said walking up to him. "I have one more thing planned for today." They walked to her car, and she drove him a little ways off campus. "What is this place?" He asked looking at the sign that read Picasso's "Only the best pizza place ever." Lauren replied, getting out of the car, she grabbed his hand and drug him into the restaurant. They were seated. Lauren convinced Damian to order the pepperoni pizza. "If you don't like pizza, you will after this." "Whatever you say." He responded. The pizzas were brought to their table, "Does this remind you of Lady and the Tramp?" He asked. "No, besides that was with Spaghetti. If your gonna ask Disney questions, you should get your facts straight." She laughed. Damian smiled and took a bight out of the pizza. His blue grew wide in amazement. He finished his whole pizza. Lauren had ordered the same size as him, the Large. He had never seen a girl eat so much in his life. "Where do you put it?" He asked. "I don't know." She finished her pizza. "Thank you." He said. "Best birthday ever." "You're welcome." She replied. He pushed their plates aside. "Gráim thú." He said, leaning towards her. Lauren had not idea what he said, but she had a guess, she responed, "Je t'aime." He kissed her, he put his hand on her cheek, and he slowly pulled away. He scratched his head. "So, um you ready to go?" She nodded. Both were unsure how to feel at the moment.

Y'all got it to 2000 y'all are amazingChapter 30- Mr I can wear shorts in December, and Miss I wear flip flops all year long A few months had passed. Lauren was physically exhausted from doing club soccer, school soccer, coed, and drillteam. She would drive Damian to his hotel, and then drive home. She would crash on her bed and cry herself to sleep. She was so stressed, and with the end of the year coming up it was even harder, because she had to prepare for her trip to Irleand. Damian was not nearly as exhausted as Lauren, but he did have a lot on his plate. And one thing that bugged him more than anything else. He couldn't tell if his gut feeling about Lauren was disappearing or not, and it was all because of the kiss on his birthday. They were still a couple and they still joked, things just got really busy. He promised he would keep it up till Christmas. And he hoped it would last. He honestly did hate to think, that he might hurt Lauren. Despite her tall stature, she was so delicate, and especially now, when she was so stressed anything could put her over the top and break her. It was the Sunday after State, Lauren had a load of stress taken off her, Drillteam was over for the rest of the year. Now she only had soccer on her mind. Lauren and Damian were eating at Picasso's. "So, you excited for Ireland?" Damian asked. "Of course, I haven't seen my granny since I was really little." "You call her granny?" "Well, only her, it just seems wrong to call her grandma." Damian lauged, "You are so weird." "It must have rubbed off from you." Damian was offended, "Are you calling me weird?" Lauren laughed, "Yes." "Thank you." "You're very welcome." It was the Friday before they got out for Christmas. Damian and Lauren were in French, talking about their flight that afternoon. "Are you all packed?" He asked. "Yep." "Are you excited?" He raised an eyebrow. "Oh yes, I am so excited to spend a twenty four hours on a flight with you." He stuck out his tongue, "We are gonna have fun." He wiggled his eyebrows. "Well, your idea of having fun is tickling me till I can't breath." "Yeah that and sleeping." "You are so funny." She rolled her eyes. "I know." "Of course you do." She laughed. Class ended, Damian's stuff was already in Eric's car, and they went to Lauren's house to get her stuff. Eric would be dropping them off at the airport. Lauren grabbed her stuff. "You are only going for two weeks." Damian said. "Yeah, and it is a heck of a lot colder in Ireland in December than it is in Texas, Mr. I can wear shorts and t-shirt in December and be all comfy cozy." "I normally can't do this, miss I wear flip flops in all weather. You probably have a pair of flip flops packed." "Psh
No." Lauren badly lied. Damian laughed, "Get in." They were off to the airport and a fork was coming in the road neither of them saw.

Chapter 31- When a man has to go a man has to go
They arrived at the airport, grabbing their bags out of the trunk of the black Audi, they headed inside.
"You ready?" Damian asked with an eyebrow raised.
"Of course." Lauren answered with confidence.
Damian was not sure he could have answered with such confidence. Things were changing and he had a bad feeling about this trip. He had a feeling things were going to be said that could not be taken back.
They checked their bags and headed through a buttload of security.
Lauren took Peter Pan out of her backpack and walked to a chair in the gate. She began to read.
"I like that book." Damian said.
"So do I." Lauren said with a grin.
"I figured that is why you are reading it."
"Would you like to read it?" Lauren asked.
"And take it away from you. I couldn't."
"But you could, and will. I have read it so many times the words are engraved on my brain."
Damian giggled, and gingerly took the book from her hands. He sat next to her, and began to read.
Lauren saw this as a wonderful opportunity to draw. She got out her sketch pad and pencil, and began to draw the outline of Damian's face.
About an hour had passed, Damian was half finished with the book and all Lauren needed to do to finish her drawing was draw Damian's mouth and hair.
"Hey Damian,"
"Mm." He said not looking up from the thrilling tale.
"Could you smile for me?" She asked.
Of course he smiled.
"Thank you."
She quickly finished his smile, and went to his hair. The flight attendant announced that the flight would be boarding shortly so Lauren did not get to shade Damian's hair as well as she liked.
She began to pack up, when Damian closed his book he caught a glimpse of the sketch. "What is that?"
"Nothing." Lauren said, closing the book as fast as she could and slipping it into her bag. She put the pencil in a pencil bag and slid it into her back pack as well.
Damian tried to hand her the book, but she pushed him away, "You're not finished, keep the book till you are." She smiled.
"Promise to show me what you were drawing."
"I promise, I already promised to show you my work didn't I?"
Damian blushed, "Oh yeah. Forgot about that."
Lauren hit him as the two headed onto the plane.
"Now remember sleep on the way there. You will have less jetlag."
"I know that." Lauren stated pulling out her ipod.
"What are you listening to?" He leaned over trying to look at the screen.
"This guy I stumbled across on the internet. It is a song called Lauren and I. The guy is pretty good, and he is from Northern Ireland."
Damian's face lit up, "What's his name maybe I have heard of him."
"Keith Harkin." Lauren replied.
"Nuts, never heard of him." He laughed.
Slowly after a few hours, and a few drinks of doctor pepper, the two were fast asleep.
Lauren had the isle seat, and Damian had the window seat. She wanted the window seat, but he insisted on the him taking the window seat. He now wished he had not done that.
He had to go to the bath room. And well Lauren made it very difficult. She was leaning on him, her head on top of his, her right arm was snuggly around his back holding his right hand, and her left hand was gripped tightly in his. Her legs were partially on his abdomen, and legs.
He did not have the heart to move her, but when a man has to go a man has to go.
Slowly he undid his grip of her hands. He gently lifted his head off of hers now came the hard part, her legs; they were long and quite annoying when trying to move them. He knew she was a fairly hard sleeper because at homecoming she did not wake when he picked her up to place her in bed. He unbuckled his seat belt.
He attempted to push her legs off of him, but he failed. So he tried to slide out from under them, the side of the plane was causing that plan to fail as well.
"Fudge." he cursed under his breath. He then got what he called a brilliant idea. He decided to slide under her legs.
Well he did, but he looked like a an awkward kid getting stuck on a water slide.
He made his way to the bathroom, relieved himself, and walked back to his seat. Lauren had shifted positions. Her legs were now in front of her, allowing him not to scoot by her.
So he started to step over her legs, but his uncoordinated legs failed him, and he fell on top of her.
He knew instantly that he woke her up. "I am so sorry." He apologized.
"About what?" Lauren asked quite groggily. She then realized Damian was sitting on her lap. "Ah. Well could you get your bony butt off my lap and into your own seat?"
"Thanks." Damian said with a bit of snark, "And no problem."
He lifted himself up and plopped down next to Lauren. "Next time I get the window seat." She threatened.
Damian laughed, "Well now that you are up, can I see that drawing?"
She nodded, and pulled out her sketch book. She flipped through the pages giving Damian glances at her work. She stopped and showed him a picture of him leaning up against a black Audi.
"That is not what you were working on in the airport." He said. "But it is very accurate, he puffed out his chest.
Lauren laughed, and turned the page to what she was working on in the airport. Damian's jaw dropped, if the floor hadn't been their it would have dropped to the earth.
"Holy crap. That is bloody amazing." He saw all the detail she put in it.
Lauren blushed, "Thanks."
Time passed rather quickly, because Lauren and Damian fell asleep again.
But they landed, and stumbled off the airplane.
They got through customs, and claimed their baggage.
Lauren looked around and saw her grandmother. "Granny!" She called.
Her short, grey haired grand mother walked over, "Lauren, it's been so long. My you have grown." Damian then walked up. "Hello Damian." She greeted.
"Hi Mrs. Shannon."
Lauren turned to Damian, "How do you know my granny?"
Damian was at a loss for words, this is what he had feared the most.
"Did I say something?" Lauren's grandmother asked.
"I, uh…" Damian mumbled.
"Damian, Nancy!" A voice called from the distance.
Damian whirled around, he saw his mom and his grand mother. "Ah crap." Damian whispered. "Hi gran, ma!" Damian waved.
He turned back to Lauren, who was giving him a glare of death.
Damian's grandmother, and mom came up behind him, "This must be Lauren, she is very pretty, just like you said." He mom commented.
"Damian, how does your mom know about me. I mean besides the obvious that I am your girl friend."
Damian stumbled around looking for words.
"Is their something you haven't been telling me?" She asked.
Everything came crashing down at the moment; he had broken the delicate balance of everything. He could not explain anything. Well he tried. "Well, I came over for school. I asked you to homecoming and asked you out, only to later find out, that our grannies were setting us up."
"And you didn't tell me." Lauren was mad, it scared Damian. Her rage burned him.
"I couldn't. I didn't want you getting hurt." Damian said, in his mind it was like the demolition of a building, all done in slow motion.
"Well, how do I know any of this was real?" She asked.
Damian did not have an answer, he looked down his blue eyes echoed the emotion of sadness.
Lauren raised her hand.
He knew what he had done.
She slapped him leaving a lovely read handprint on is left cheek. She stormed off, in a fit of rage and sadness.
Damian thought he was a horrible person. He had been a fake.

I have realized y'all are very far behind. So many updates are coming your way ---- Chapter 31- Screw Up "I'll be right back." Damian said, to the three women who were trying to comprehend the situation. Damian walked over to where Lauren was standing. "Lauren?" He said. Lauren turned away from him, he knew she was crying. He put his hand on her shoulder. She moved her shoulder, knocking his hand down. Damian walked around to face her. "Lauren." He stated. He put a hand on her chin and lifted her head up. She looked at him coldly. Her brown eyes that he loved so much because of the little twinkle that resided in them, became dark and clouded, he tried to search for the twinkle, but he couldn't find it. "What?" She asked, in a rather flat voice. "Look, I am so sorry." "Sure." "I couldn't tell you, I wanted to believe me…" She cut him off. "Believe you?" Her voice got higher. "How can I believe you?! You lied to me for months?!" "I didn't want to hurt you!" He said his voice raised an octave. "I rather be hurt then, and just forget about you, than hurt now!" "I hate seeing you hurt, I couldn't ruin what we had." His voice went to it's normal rich deep tone. "Well, you did ruin what we had! You ruined what we could have had!" She yelled. "You're not helping make it any better!" "Who said I wanted to make it better! I hate being lied to, and now I find out our whole relationship was a sham, a fake." "IT WAS NOT!" He bellowed, making an echo through out the airport. "Well how can I know that now?!" "Let me explain!" "Oh, I think you have explained enough." She walked towards her grandma. "Granny, can we leave?" "Yes, dear." Her grandma replied. Damian walked back over to his family, "Why do I screw up everything?" He asked. Damian's mom just looked at him sympathetically. Then Lauren said something that surprised everyone, "Granny, do you mind if I leave early?" "No, but I will want to talk. Okay?" "Okay." Damian heard Lauren ask that question. His heart shattered, but he guessed this is what Lauren must have felt when she found out, he was set up with her, and then didn't tell her.

Chapter 33- Things Just Get Worse
Damian was sitting in his kitchen. He was sad, he walked to the fridge, and pulled out a Guinness.
His mom walked in, "Can't have it honey, even though we normally let ya, ya can't have it."
Damian's eyes got big, "And why not?"
"You will get kicked out of school."
"Well, crap." He put the Guinness back, "Things just get worse and worse."
"Wait till she calms down then go explain to her."
"She is stubborn ma, she ain't gonna listen."
"She will listen. Just give her some time."
Damian nodded. Christmas was really boring especially since Lauren went home about four days earlier than planned.
Two days before Christmas, he was walking down the street, and he happened to glance in a window of a shop.
Something caught his eye. He knew it was long shot, but he had to buy it. Even after what had happened, he knew she was the one, the only one. He walked into to the shop- the door opened with the dinging of a bell.
The shop owner looked at him quizzically.
"I would like that." He pointed to what he saw in the window, "Can you throw the bear in too?"
Another quizzical look from the shop owner.
"The bear is a little joke." Damian explained.
The shop owner smiled, his brown eyes twinkled. Damian was noticing it every where. He saw her everywhere. He handed Damian the bear and the object in the window, it was obvious he had made every item in the shop with is bare hands.
Damian knew this would work, well it would work sometime.

Chapter 34- Not All Teddy Bears Make You Feel All Warm and Fuzzy
" Deary, come sit by your granny." Lauren's grandmother, Nancy said, patting the couch she was sitting on.
Lauren walked over to her grandmother, and sat down, they started talking. "Why did ya set me up with him, granny?"
"We just wanted to see how things went," she replied.
"Why didn't he tell me? He was so honest about everything."
"Well, to tell ya the truth, I honestly don't think he wanted to hurt ya."
"But he did."
"I know, and I think there could have been an easier way to do all this. Perhaps I should have told you about him, and the whole thing be mutual."
"But it wouldn't feel right."
"Well, his mom did say that he sent an email, saying he fell in love with before, all of the mumbo jumbo with the set up happened."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean," She put a hand on Lauren's shoulder, "That he really did love you, and that his grandmother and I are wonderful matchmakers."
Lauren laughed. "Thanks granny."
"Do you still wanna go home early?"
Lauren shook her head. "But none of this changes what he did. It will take a while for me to trust him again."
"I completely understand."
Lauren was going back home a few days before Christmas, originally it was supposed to be the eve of Christmas eve, so she could spend it with her more immediate family. But her granny gave her lots of presents to take home.
Damian would be staying in Ireland. Even though they barely saw each other, despite the fact that Lauren's grandma lived across the street from Damian, Lauren and Damian both thought it best to have an ocean separating them for a while.
A few days after Christmas, Lauren was walking in Target. She was in the toy section, a worker came up behind her.
"Can I help you?" He asked.
Lauren turned around, only to meet blue eyes. Lauren shook her head, "No."
She saw Damian everywhere, even the aisle she was standing on had teddy bears on it. She ran to the bathroom, and just cried.
She came out, and went to her car and drove home. When she got home she tried not to hug her teddy bear, named Damian. So instead she threw it across her room. But she realized she could not just leave the helpless teddy bear there, so se went over picked up, and laid down on her bed. She fell asleep the bear firmly in her grasp.

Chapter 35- Notes and Questions
Christmas came and went. And when school started, everyone knew about Lauren and Damian's break up.
Especially the soccer teams, it was affecting the way both of them played, and without the captains cooperating on the coed team, it was failing as well.
Lauren still blocked every goal, but she was not up to par, the teams had bets on when she would let the ball slip past her.
Girls were all over Damian, and Lauren sunk back into her little world, of drawing and reading.
She was utterly depressed, and KJ saw a perfect opportunity to make his move. He knew she would never say yes to him, and even if she did it would not be so soon.
He was walking up the stairs and Lauren was sitting in front of her locker drawing.
"Hey, how are things going?" He asked.
Lauren looked at him, tears started to build up in her eyes.
He sat down, "It's gonna be okay."
She turned towards him, put her head on his shoulder, and began to cry.
He wrapped his arms around her, and rocked her. Damian walked up, and didn't even look at the two of them.
KJ let Lauren cry on her shoulder till they had to go to class.
Lauren was wiping tears away, "Uh, thanks, I really needed that."
"I am always here for you." He said.
Lauren smiled, she hadn't smiled since the plane trip to Ireland.
All during physics Damian was writing something, then crumpling it up, then writing something again. He through all the papers away at the end of class, and sighed as he left the room.
Lauren being her curious self, walked to the trash can and pulled out the top most piece of paper. She read the note in her head, "Dear Lauren, I know I screwed up. I am sorry. But I just don't get along with the English language, you know that. I really did want to tell you, but I could not imagine seeing you hurt, then well things fell apart, and you were hurt. It broke my heart to see you like that. I know you can probably never forgive me. But please…" The note stopped their.
Lauren folded it and placed it in her bag. Even if she was not ready to admit she forgave Damian, she would one day.
KJ met her at her locker, "Are you feeling better?" He asked.
Lauren nodded. "Thanks so much, it really meant a lot to me this morning."
"Anything for you." He smiled.
"Hey, um… I know it is in like a month, but I was wondering, if you would go to sadies with me?"

Chapter 36- Apples to Apples, and Blue Jeans
KJ did not know what to say, but he smiled, "I would love to."
Damian had walked up, "Love to what."
KJ was gloating now; he put an arm around Lauren, "I would love to go to sadies with Lauren."
Damian acted as if nothing had a phased him. He walked away, putting on a fake smile. There he goes again doing something fake. That word seemed to haunt him.
Weeks passed, Sadies was Saturday, Damian wasn't going to the dance, but he was going to the after party, against his will.
Lauren seemed relatively happy. I mean she was going out with KJ. They talked more than they used to, but the words did not flow like they did when she talked to Damian.
KJ came to pick Lauren up. Her hair was tenderly curled, and her royal blue dress and cowboy boots gave her a Taylor Swift Look.
"He's here." Lauren's mom said.
"I know." Lauren had been looking out the window; she saw his white Audi pull up, hoping that some fairy would come and change the person in inside and the color.
KJ walked up the front step and rang the bell. Lauren answered.
"Wow. You look…" KJ could not find the words.
Lauren blushed, "Thanks." She noticed he was wearing a blue flannel shirt that was a bit too big for him. She knew the shirt belonged to Damian; it was the shirt he wore to homecoming football game.
Lauren's mom did not snap near as many pictures.
And when the arrived at Emma's house, no one complimented them. Well they did just not to the extent they did when Damian was with Lauren.
Everyone knew they were the perfect couple. Everyone including KJ knew that Damian had stolen Lauren's heart. Know one knew exactly why they broke up, just that they had a huge fight.
"Y'all ready to go eat?" Maury asked.
A round of "Yeses" was her answer.
Lauren and KJ hopped in his Audi and headed out.
"So what did happen between you and Damian?" He asked, meaning no harm at all.
Lauren who was staring at the window turned to him, "Uh, it was nothing serious, we just got into a fight, I was stupid and well, things fell apart."
Lauren knew it was more her fault, she was stubborn, but the whole fight was Damian's fault. She couldn't risk Damian loosing all his friends, so she took the blame. She was in the position where it was okay if she took the blame, no one would mind, or even care.
"Well, I don't believe it was entirely your fault, break ups are never one persons fault." He smiled and placed a hand on Lauren's shoulder.
"Thanks KJ." Lauren smiled. She knew why she had a crush on him; he was a very sweet guy.
They parked.
The group went to a nice steak house for dinner; well, the theme was denim and diamonds. It just seemed right.
Lauren ordered a steak; medium well. Dinner finished, she was one of the few that finished her steak. "Where do you put it?" KJ asked.
Lauren looked at him, he had eaten both their salads, his really big steak, three of the ribs on Trent's plate, and both hers and his desert, and yet he was thinner than a twig.
"Where do you put it?" She retorted.
He laughed, "Touché."
After everyone was finished, they headed to this warehouse for the actual dance.
KJ, and Lauren were in the car, "So do you know how to two-step?" Lauren asked.
KJ smiled, "Yeah, I learned just for you, I know it's not a waltz, but this is not a waltz type of dance."
Lauren laughed, "It's perfect."
They arrived, the dance was rather uneventful accept for the fact, that KJ would not let Lauren go the entire time. Lauren thought he was wonderful, but a little to clingy.
They were leaving to go back to Emma's for the after party.
Damian would be their.
They arrived Lauren changed into a one of her old goalie jerseys and sweat pants. She came down the stairs, and she saw Damian, in sweat pants and her jersey that she gave him.
She scratched her head, "Well this is awkward."
Damian was dumbfounded. "I, uh, God, your gorgeous." He then whispered, "Crap, I screwed that up."
Lauren laughed. Emma had pulled out Apples to Apples.
"Alrighty the game is Apples to Apples."
"Uh, what is Apples to Apples?" Damian asked.
The entire group looked at him like he had grown three heads.
"Just play along, You'll get it." Trent said. Damian nodded.
KJ was the first judge. "Alright the word is shiny."
People put down cards, and after a while Damian got the hang of it.
Lauren was judge, "Okay," She started giggling, "The word is sexy."
Everyone scrambled to put words down, Lauren was one of those judges that liked the funny answers.
She read allowed the words and came down to two, "Artists, and kilts."
She started giggling madly, like when Damian tickled her. "What's so funny?" Trent asked.
"Whoever put kilts." Lauren responded.
"Oh come on Artists are sexy." KJ winked.
Lauren laughed, "This is a toughie, but I have to go with kilts."
Damian erupted with a shout, "YES! That's mine."
KJ sarcastically said, "Of course the Irish man put down kilts."
Damian snarkly replied, "Technically it's the Scottish that are known for the kilts."
"Guys, not here, not now, not anytime or anywhere." Lauren warned.
The two guys settled down.
The night ended, and the guys headed to Hamilton's house.
In the morning they came back to Emma's for breakfast.
Lauren had just woken up when she heard a certain Irish accent, and a certain deep Texan accent shouting at eachother.
Lauren cussed under her breath.

Chapter 37- I asked you NOT to fight
"You wanna no why she is going out with you?!" She heard Damian yell.
"Why, because you broke her heart!?" KJ yelled back.
Lauren peaked into the kitchen. KJ was so close to towering over Damian, but Damian was not that short.
"No, because she wanted some one to feel sorry for her. If it weren't for you, she would still be single, and willing to go out with you!"
"That's a load of bull!"
"You're a load of bull!"
"You're just jealous cause she is pissed at you!"
"No I'm up to-ninety, because you're dating a girl who is better than you! And deserves better than you!"
"Better than me?! I am currently the best she has ever had!"
"You're off your nut!" Damian was turning rose red.
Lauren was worried, she turned to go back upstairs, when she saw all the guys, and girls standing their.
"So how does it feel to have to men love you?" Hamilton asked.
"Just peachy." Lauren said.
"I don't want anyone getting hurt, really badly." Emma said, "So Trent, Colby, Hamilton, James, if anything bad starts to happen stop them."
"I am not going insane! You are! For thinking you still have a chance with her! Cause let me tell ya buddy, you blew it! She hates being lied to, and you well you lied to her!"
"That's it, come here ya bloody eegit!"
Damian leapt at KJ, his arm ready to punch. The guys pushed passed Lauren. James, and Colby grabbed KJ, and Trent, and Hamilton grabbed Damian.
Damian and KJ both struggled to try and punch each other.
Lauren walked in. "You know what, I was wrong about both of you. I asked, one simple thing. And that was not to fight, over me or anything. And y'all couldn't do that. I told you, I am not worth fighting over. God. You are both selfish butts." She turned to Emma, "If you don't mind, I am gonna leave."
"Not a problem." Emma said, as she glared at both KJ, and Damian.
"I'll take you home Lauren." Libby suggested.
"Thanks."
As Lauren and Libby, and well rest of the girls too, they heard Emma yelling. "You to have no class. She asked you, and then you go and fight, and ruin every ones time. Both of you, out!"
Everyone secretly smiled, evil Emma, was not a pretty sight.
Lauren got home, upset, but glad that this whole thing was off her shoulders. She had to things to focus on. All region in coed, and state in school soccer, and nationals for her club team. Her mind became clouded with thoughts of soccer, as everything else melted away. Soccer was her best and only distraction.
Monday, school came and everyone but the headmaster, had heard about the fight. No one really talked to Damian or KJ. They sat alone at lunch tables, and Lauren ignored Damian all day, even though she did have every class with him, and their lockers were next to each others.
Damian did his homework in study hall. He went to his locker, and looked at Lauren's. Besides the sparkly boot which was on it at the beginning of the year, a sign in the shape of a soccer ball wit a red bow and with her name and the number one, had been added. He sighed, he loved it when a little bow graced her hair.
He looked at his own. A picture of him striking the soccer ball, his name and number 99 had been placed on his locker. All varsity sports got locker signs. He opened the locker, got his physics book out.
Closing the locker he turned around.
A brunette was standing before him.

i am glad y'all are liking it --- Chapter 38- Any Day Now "Do I know you?" He asked. "Yes, well sort of." She replied. "I'm Emily. One of Lauren's friends." "No." "No what?" "I am not going out with anyone." "What made you think I wanted to go out with out you?" She asked. Damian scratched his head, "I don't know, the fact that every girl seems to think I want to go out with them." "Well that is not why I am here." "Then why are you here?" "To tell you to knock it off, and stop being a butt." Damian's eyes widened in shock. He barely knew this girl, and she was talking to him like Lauren did, no wonder the two were friends. "Excuse me." "You heard me. Stop fighting with KJ, he and Lauren aren't gonna last. And stop being so rude to everyone. Just be patient Lauren will come back apologizing saying everything is her fault and you have to be their for her. But, he can't let her take the whole blame, it will just make her feel all depressed." Damian could not believe he was being lectured. "You better be listening to me, and not just letting this info go in one ear and out the other." "Not to be rude, but I know how to handle her." As soon as I said that I realized how stupid I sounded. Emily started laugh, "Right, that is why she pissed at you, and you are pissed, and the two of you aren't going out any more. Because you handled her like a rock instead of the delicate rose that she is." As much as he hated to admit it Emily was right, plus she brought up roses. "Yeah you're right, any idea on when she will come back." "Oh it should be any day now." Any day was a long time in coming, because before he knew prom had approached, and Damian wasn't going with Lauren.

(funny story about this chapter. thought it was gonna be the prom one and well... you read and and tell me how I got to where it went LOL... nothing bad happens I promise.)
Chapter 39- Bella Note Part 1
An invitation came in the mail. Damian assumed only the juniors and seniors got it, since it was for prom. KJ had already asked Lauren, but that wasn't going to stop him from going.
The theme was Bella Note, or Beautiful Night in Italian.
Damian knew he needed a tie, he was thinking yellow or green. He wondered what Lauren would be wearing.
Lauren was at the mall, wit Libby, Emma, and Maury, picking out prom dresses.
"Lauren you have to try this one on." Emma said, she was holding up a long green silky dress, with a peasant look to it.
Lauren took the dress from Emma and put it on. It was Emerald Green and just one shoulder. Flowers, covered the strap, and part of the the top, and the belt that was right under her chest started the flowers slowly getting few and few. It was such a pretty silky dress.
Lauren walked out. "Oh Goodness that is perfect." Libby stated, who was wearing a brown silk number.
Emma and Maury walked out both wearing blue long dresses. "This prom is going to be awesome." Maury said.
Emma slyly got out her phone and texted Damian, "Hey, Damo its Emma, Lauren is wearing emerald green." She ended the text with a wink face.
The four girls bought their dresses, and the next day at school they told the boys. This weekend were state finals for coed.
Lauren dawned her yellow goalie jersey, and headed to the field. Well she was supposed to pick Damian up so she went to his hotel and picked him up.
He was wearing his soccer uniform, and instead of cleats he was wearing these Adidas sandals. He put his bag in the trunk, and hopped in the front seat.
"I'm glad you decided to go to the dance this time." Lauren said, breaking the awkward silence.
"Really." Damian's eyes brightened.
"Yeah." Lauren smiled, "But please, don't fight with KJ."
"How are you and KJ?" Damian asked, with a bit of shyness, he was prodding a delicate subject.
"We're okay. Not like we were at first."
Damian looked sorry. "What do you mean." He knew Lauren needed to vent, and even if he was not her first choice to vent to, he was probably the only one who would listen.
"Well, at the beginning he was always there for me." She looked at Damian. "I think you know why. But lately he seems very distant, even the way he asked me to prom was not near as romantic as the first time. But he stopped coming to games, and he never went to practices. He is a different guy than you. And things are getting well, hard."
"You do realize, I am probably the only guy who will ever be interested in watching your football practice, well in football practice."
Lauren laughed, "Yeah, and I miss seeing you in the bleachers. But I really miss just kicking the ball around afterwards. That was a different game of soccer." She smiled.
Damian smiled and looked forward. They reached the field, and got their stuff. The game started, and ended. It was a draw. It would be decided in a shootout.
Lauren and Damian, and the other team's two captains went to the middle of the field for the coin toss to see who would kick first. Trinity won. The coaches picked their five kickers from the players on the field. The first balls from each team were kicked. Lauren saved her five, and the opposing goalie saved the other four. Damian kick was the fourth, he was close, because the opposing goalie barely touched the ball enough to make it's path change directions.
The last kicker for Trinity was Lauren. Their were no rules stating the goalie could not kick. And everyone knew she had the best kick, and she knew how to fake out the goalie.
"You got this." Coach Findley said.
"I know." She smiled.
Damian walked up to her, "What's his weakness?" he asked, he knew she was studying the guy the whole game. He knew she knew the answer.
"Bottom left corner." She replied without hesitation.
With confidence, she walked up to the ball. She faked the goalie out by acting as if she would kick it to the top right, but she kicked it to the bottom left.
The world went into slow motion. As the ball hit the back of the net.
The game had been won. Trinity had won state, in coed soccer.
The team rushed the field, all hugging Lauren. Everyone said she was the best player in the state of Texas.
Damian could care less about prom, winning this game and Lauren and him coming to friendly terms again this was his Bella Note.
The game was on Friday. Prom happened to be the next day.

(second favorite post next to homecoming one ) Chapter 40- Bella Note Part 2 Lauren woke up early; she had a small girl's day out for pedicures and manicures with her friends. Damian woke up at around ten, and ordered room service, he wouldn't get ready till maybe an hour before the dance, but that was only because he had to shower. He decided he needed to put clothes on, more than just his boxers, he found a white pair of basket ball shorts, and Lauren's old goalie jersey. When he was putting the jersey on room service came. The shirt was around his neck when he opened the door. I girl rolled the tray in, she stared at him. He smiled, "I have a girlfriend." He said, knowing full well he did not have a girl friend. The girls face became sad, as she left the room. Damian closed the door. "I do not have a girl friend. I have Lauren, and she at the moment refuses to go out with me." He told himself. He turned on the television, and became engrossed in a game of soccer. Lauren returned home, and began curling her hair. She ate a bit of lunch. Then lounged around and watched some soccer. Damian took a shower. He gathered a few items that he would need for tonight, he was gonna win Lauren's heart back. Time was drawing near, Lauren put on her green dress. Damian put on a solid emerald green tie. He didn't do his hair, he knew Lauren liked it better when he just left it alone. Lauren waited for a white Audi, wishing a fairy godmother could poof in change the color and change her prince. But that didn't happen. KJ was wearing a black tie with his suit, they made a cute couple, but they were not perfect. They drove to Emma's house, pictures were snapped. Then Damian arrived. Everyone took a picture with him. Even Lauren, and everyone thought they looked perfect. Lauren thought it odd how he was wearing a tie the same color as her dress. She then looked at Emma who winked at her and gave her a thumbs up. "Oh, Emma." Lauren called. Emma had turned around and walked away. "Emma, come back here." "Why, Lauren I didn't know you were going to be here." She said trying to think of something clever to say. "Emma, did you tell Damian the color of my dress?" "Psh… No." She lied. "Alright." She gave in, "I did when we were dress shopping." "Emma!" Lauren exclaimed. "Y'all are just to perfect for your own good. Y'all have to be together." "Emma, your amazing, but me and Damian are not going out. You are not a matchmaker." "We'll see about that." Emma said. Lauren rolled her eyes. Everyone was leaving, for the dance. Damian had loaded his things into Hamilton's car, he was still not on the best of terms with KJ, even though he was riding in their car. It was an awkward silent ride as the drove to the dance. Dinner was served there. They walked into the fancy hotel, and rode the elevator up to the top floor. The view was gorgeous. The tables were set out, and Lauren was sandwiched between KJ and Damian. They were served salad. Damian knew Lauren didn't like salad, and KJ did to. After she had a few bites, KJ asked, "Mind if I have the rest?" "No go ahead." Lauren said. "Dude did you even make sure she was finished." Damian said, rather upset. Lauren turned to Damian furious. "Damian, shut up. Not here not now. If you two fight I swear I will punch both of y'all. I don't care how lovely your face looks. It will look lovelier with a black eye." She threatened. They were served their steak, Lauren had finished hers first. And simultaneously KJ and Damian asked, "Where do you put it?" Lauren rolled her eyes. "That's our thing." KJ said. Before Damian could answer, Lauren said, "Actually KJ, Damian made the comment first on his birthday when I ate an entire pizza." KJ forgot about the comment he had just made, "You ate an entire pizza?" He asked in disbelief. "Don't act all surprised, mister skinny." Lauren laughed. She turned to Damian and mouthed, your welcome. "Thank yam am." Damian said in a think Texan accent. "You're not a cowboy yet." Lauren replied with her quick wit. "What happened to that comment you made with that teddy bear." "I was exaggerating you kinda pulled a little surprise on me. But you're still a teddy bear." She smiled. KJ was utterly confused at this conversation, but soon the chocolate cake was served. Lauren ate the entire humongous piece. Chocolate cake was her weakness. Damian excused himself from the table, and went to go get a few things out of Hamilton's car. Emma, went up to the DJ and requested a song for the first slow song. A few fast songs played, Lauren dance for none of them, except the last one before the slow song. The DJ announced, "Alright we are gonna slow things down a bit." The song "So Close" by Jon McLaughlin came on. Lauren smiled, as tears built up inside her, she got a lump in her throat, this was one of her favorite songs. It was her and Damian's song. KJ tapped her on the shoulder, and held out his hand, "Would you like to dance with me?" He asked. Lauren nodded, he lead her to the dance floor. He began to waltz with her, Lauren began to cry a little. He stopped and wiped a few tears from her eyes. Then a red soccer ball hit the side of his foot. Lauren looked at the direction in which the ball came from. She knew it was her ball, it was the one she gave to Damian at the beginning of the year, when she first met him. The students had moved out of the way, and formed a path way Damian was standing at the end of it. He smiled. Lauren put her hands on his hips. He started walking forward. He dug his hand into his pocket and started searching for something. When he reached Lauren he pulled out a piece of paper. He handed it to Lauren, "I hope it's still valid." Lauren read the note, that said, This entitles you to one free hug. She nodded, and he hugged her. He started to hum the song in her ear. He took her hand, and placed it on his shoulder, he kicked the ball to Trent, and placed his hand in hers. He started to softly sing the sing and he began to waltz with her. Other kids began to dance too, but it was evident that focus was on Damian and Lauren. KJ was crushed but he saw this coming, besides he never officially asked Lauren out so they were never officially dating. The song ended and Damian kissed Lauren. "Forgive me he asked." Lauren nodded. "Of course." He led her off the dance floor. "Would you consider going out with me again?" he asked. Lauren nodded. He pulled something out from under his chair. It was a teddy bear, "I named it Lauren, I saw it a few days before Christmas, and I thought if you could have a teddy bear, why couldn't I. But your more of lion, but same concept." Lauren was confused. "More of a lion?" She asked. "Yeah, a feisty personality, and a sweet girl." He explained. Lauren understood, "I guess you're a grizzly bear then." She laughed, "A McGrizzly bear." Damian laughed with her. He smiled. "I've missed you." "Me to." Lauren looked down. She then whispered, "Je t'aime." " Gráim thú" He replied, kissing her. He took something slyly out of his pocket and slipped it to Lauren. "Damian," She said, "This really is a Bella Note." "It is." He said, as he got out of his chair. The song Unforgettable started playing. "Lauren." He started as he saw the twinkle in her eyes, he smiled.

(what's this... an update... she is alive and writing... of course it is. and yes i am still alive... hehehe)
Chapter 41- Come Fly With Me
Damian hid what he had previously slid to Lauren, he pocketed it, and began toying with it. Mulling over in his mind if this was the right time. If he had the grounds to even ask to be her boy friend again.
Lauren looked at him, his blue eyes shining even in the dimly lit dance hall. "Yes." She said still sitting.
"What do you think of friends." Great going Damo. He thought to himself, friends what brilliant topic to bring up at this time.
"They're great. You can never have to many. But when it comes to boys, it is always important to be a friend first before anything else."
Damian fit that philosophy well he thought he did. He began toying with the thing in his pocket again. "How do you show someone you want to be friends?"
"You talk and hang out. I guess." Lauren said raising her eyebrows; she couldn't raise just one even with Damian trying to teach her.
"I mean true friends?" He asked.
"Gifts. I have no clue. Why?" She asked.
Damian ignored her question. "Would you consider me a true friend?"
Before Lauren could answer the DJ announced, "Girls Varsity soccer meet at the back for a picture."
"Sorry, I have to go. Wait right here." She said, as she left to go take the picture.
When she came back Damian was gone. She was going to say he was a true friend, but his little disappearing act proved her wrong. It proved her once again who Damian was.
She sat in the chair and put her head in her hands, leaning on the table. A few silent tears rolled down her cheeks.
Meanwhile Damian was in the bathroom. He had just finished his business, and washing his hands, when he totally freaked out. "You can do this." He said.
He walked out of the bathroom, and saw Lauren crying. "No, no, no." He said to himself, "She's not supposed to cry. Way to go McGinty. You ruin everything." He said to himself.
"Maybe not." Hamilton said who had come up behind him. Hamilton was practically Damian's twin just a bit shorter.
"What do ya mean?" Damian asked.
"I mean, you show her you're not some slump who takes advantage of her. Show her you care." Hamilton said.
"How do I do that?" Damian asked. Playing with what was in his pocket.
"Give her what's in your pocket, what you planned to do, before you went through all this mess, by asking her about friends." Hamilton explained.
"Sorry, I don't do well with nerves." Damian said.
"Stop apologizing to me. Give her some of that Damo charm." Ham pushed him forward, it was the most he said all year to Damian. They were friends but Ham was just a quiet kid.
Damian walked over to Lauren, and tapped her on the shoulder. She looked up at him. He wiped her tears away, before she could say anything. "What do you want?" She asked coldly.
"I'm sorry. I had to go pee, and when a man's gotta go, a man's gotta go." He smiled.
Lauren laughed, she guessed she had gotten upset over nothing.
He messed with what was in his pocket again, another slow song played this one was Come fly with Me one of Lauren's favorites. She swayed with the song. Damian sang along with it.
He pulled his hand out his pocket, and checked it. He then grabbed her hand. He stopped singing. "I know we're young," he started.

Chapter 42- Prom was Rather Uneventful
"But would you wait?" He asked.
"For what?" Lauren replied, with a question of her own.
Damian let go of her hand. She looked at her left ring finger. On it was a silver band with a Celtic knot. "Marriage." He replied.
Lauren stared at the ring, "Damian, we've known each other less than a year."
"That's why I'm asking you to wait, to not forget me. I wont be coming back next year, this was a one year thing." Damian said.
"Not coming back, ever."
Damian laughed, "No, I'll be back, just not living here. I'll visit, and keep in touch."
A tear fell down her cheek, he reached his hand up and wiped it off with his thumb, grabbing her chin afterwards. He pulled her close, and kissed her. Then pulled away, "Will you wait?"
Lauren nodded. She then through her arms around Damian. A few claps came from their group of friends who had been watching. Damian was slapped on the back by, KJ, Trent, Hamilton, Colby, and James.
The girls crowded around Lauren looking at her ring. It wasn't big, or gaudy, but perfect for Lauren. Nice simple, and cute.
As they cleared away, Damian sat next to Lauren. "So, when did you get it? And how did you know what size?"
Damian smiled, "Remember that first day I went to your house. I took the size of one of the rings you had on your dresser. I got it a few days before Christmas, after you left. Saw it in the window, and had to get it. Oh," he reached under the table, "Got this too." He handed her the teddy bear.
"You're hilarious." She laughed, taking the teddy bear.
"I know." He smirked.
Lauren couldn't stop looking at the ring. She hit him at his comment. Prom ended, the rest of the night being rather uneventful.
Well except for the fact that KJ broke his arm, sliding on water in the kitchen of Hamilton's house. He knocked his arm on the counter breaking the bone. But other than that it was uneventful.
The next big event in Lauren's mind was summer, and senior year. She wondered how she would cope, but then remembered her and Damian would keep in touch.
(HE DOES NOT POP THE QUESTION... he asks her to WAIT MUAHAHAHAHAHA )

Chapter 43- These Swim Trunks Look Like the Irish Flag
School was ending, and Damian was leaving soon. KJ was throwing a party for Damian, a going away party. It was cliché, but nice.
"It's a swim party." Damian sighed.
"What did you guess, ice skating in summer, in Texas?" Lauren laughed. Damian hit her. "Sorry." She said.
"I didn't brink trunks over." He said.
"You own a swimsuit?" She asked in disbelief.
"Yes, we're not Eskimos. We get warm weather up their." He laughed.
Lauren laughed, "Then we better go get you swim trunks."
"During school?" He asked, seeing as it was before French.
"Yes, right now, lets go." Lauren sarcastically told him, "No, after school today."
Damian tried desperately to think of a plan. His brow furrowed. "I can't I have…"
"Nothing going on. Nice, try. We're getting you a swim suit after school today." Damian sighed and rolled his eyes.
The end of school came fast, for it was Friday, and French was last. Lauren had already called, Eric, who squealed like a little girl at the thoughts of her and Damian getting married. She told him not to worry about picking him up.
"Do we have to do this?" Damian whined, as he got on Lauren's car.
"Yes." Lauren said, getting in on the drivers sighed. Damian reached for the radio, and she slapped his hand. "Don't touch it." She warned, "We don't want homecoming all over again."
Damian laughed as he remembered his tongue be grabbed.
The two drove to a target near Lauren's house, she parked, and they walked in. The passed the girls section. "Why don't you get a swim suit too?" Damian asked looking at a bright red bikini. "Because I already have plenty." She smirked.
Damian sighed, as she led him to the guys section, she pulled out a few swim trunks. Blue, black, and white ones, green white and orange ones, and her favorite red and black ones. She shoved them into Damian's arms. "Go try them on." She said. She handed him a few sizes of each, she didn't really know his size.
Damian trudged to the dressing room. "I want to see each one of them." She said.
Damian walked up to the counter and told the lady how many things he had. The lady practically melted on contact with Damian's hand as she handed him the little number card.
Damian smiled and walked in. He came out in the blue ones first. "Take off the shirt." Lauren said. "I want the full effect, I mean you will be wearing them without one." She laughed.
Damian rolled his eyes, and went to go change. "I didn't really like them." She yelled.
"I know." Damian yelled back. Trying on the red ones. He did not want to wear the green ones.
He came out, with his shirt off. Lauren giggled. "I thought those would look good. Guess I was wrong." She frowned.
Damian did too, as he went to try on the green, orange, and white ones. The where mainly white, with a wave thing of green and orange on the left side. They weren't bright green and orange, but more muted.
He walked out, and Lauren squealed. "We're getting you those."
"Really, what about the blues ones, those were nice." He whined.
"What's wrong with the ones you're wearing?" She asked.
"Nothing, its just." He trailed off looking at her face. "Fine, we'll get these." He said, he didn't want to tell her that he did like these, they just reminded him of the Irish flag.
He came back out changed, and the two checked out. She dropped him off, and went to change for the party was that night.
