This is just the short prologue of the new story i'm writing. I hope you like it!Prologue-
His name was Damian & we sent letters to each other constantly. We would tell each other about things that happen in our lives. When we’re angry, we use one another to help vent. When we’re happy, we use one another to share the great things that happened. We were like best friends, except that we’ve never actually met each other physically. The only way we communicated is through letters, which means we’re pen pals. Or at least we were pen pals. Ever since I moved, there wasn’t a single letter from him. But it wasn’t his fault, I never gave him the new address. I was going to send him it, but during the move I’ve must have lost the paper that had his address on it. Now all I can wonder is, what happened to him?Any comments or feedback would be great

I'm glad you guys are liking it, sorry that this next one is short Chapter 1
“Dear Kathy
Sorry to hear that you have to move. I bet that can’t be any fun to go through I have something that might make ya laugh though. With the letter, I attached my ugly school picture, it was the day after my mum made me get a haircut so I looked weird. Hope it makes ya smile!
Your Irish friend, Damian”
That was the last letter I ever received from him. I giggled at the sight of his school picture he sent me. After 6 years I couldn’t believe that I still had all the letters that he sent me. Sometimes when I’m bored I just like to take them out and reread all of them, and also wishing that we still kept in touch. You probably want to know how our little friendship started, so I’ll explain.
I was in the 9th grade and it all just started as a simple assignment. You were to be assigned to another student that lived in another country and then you start exchanging letters. I was given a boy my age named Damian, and he lived in Ireland. I don’t recall being told his last name, but I never really thought much of it, it was probably for some privacy reason or something like that. I had to admit, I was curious and excited to learn about this new boy and Ireland. I sent him a letter introducing myself and lots of questions for him, that I hope didn’t overwhelm him. About 5 days later I received a letter from Damian. We kept sending each other letters until we were both in our 3rd year of high school. It stopped then because that was the same year I moved.
So now I’m 21 and out of college with a degree in arts, or more specifically photography. I always had a love for taking pictures when I was younger, and now I can finally get a career out of it. I’m living in a New York apartment with a roommate, or otherwise known as my best friend, Lindsey. At times I like to call her Liz and we like to treat each other as real sisters. Lindsey is a writer, she loves to short stories and has hopes to be a great author someday.
I like living in New York, because in some places there are really great sights for me to take pictures, but over time I get bored of shooting tall buildings and busy streets because that’s actually what most of my pictures are of. New York just seems sort of too busy for me, I would like to travel somewhere where it’s more calming and more green places. But it just never feels like the right time to take a trip.
That's all i have so far, i hope you like it! please comment, any feedback is great

Here's the next update, enjoy!Chapter 2
I was getting ready to leave the apartment and go out somewhere to have lunch by myself since Lindsey was at a job interview right now. As I was leaving the building I ran into Lindsey who seem really ecstatic and was squealing a bit at the moment. I was trying to calm her down a bit to find out what happened.
“Okay, okay I understand that your excited Liz, but what happened?” I asked
“Ahhhhh I’m SO happy Kathy!”
“How ’bout we go get lunch and you can explain there” I offered
“Okay!” she replied
When we got to the restaurant we went to order our food, then found a table to sit at. Before I even got a chance to ask her again about what happened she blurted it out.
“I GOT THE JOB!” she exclaimed joyfully
“That’s great Liz! I’m so happy for you!!” I said
“But there is one problem, the publishing company that offered me the job isn’t in New York…” she trailed off
“Where is it then?”
“Derry” she answered
I couldn’t believe it was so far away. “Derry, IRELAND?” I said shockingly, and she nodded.
“I know it’s far away, and I don’t want to leave you…so I was thinking…” she trailed off again
“Noo, I‘m not sure…” I responded, catching on to what she was thinking
“C’mon Kathy, imagine the great pictures you could take there! The green rolling hills, the cliffs, the water. You say you never think it’s a good time to take a trip, but now it could be, except instead you would live there” she persuaded
“I still don’t know” I said, unsurely
“Oh and possibly, maybe, just maybe you could find that childhood boyfriend of yours….you know, the one with the bad haircut? Haha” she replied, jokingly
I laughed “He wasn’t my boyfriend, and plus that would be a slim chance!”
“Alright, Alright. Just tell me you’ll at least think about it?” she did the puppy face, which she knew I couldn’t resist
“Okay fine, I’ll think about it. I’ll give you an answer on Monday, how about that?” I reasoned
“Sounds good to me” she smiled
That left me 3 days to decide on if I wanted to change my life by moving to a whole different country. It did seem scary to move so far from what I’m so use to. Then again, the thought of enjoying new adventures in a whole different place seemed a bit thrilling. I was torn between the choices I had. On Sunday, which was the last day for me to choose, I weighed all the pros and cons.
Lindsey did have a point about the whole photography reason. I hate to admit it, but her other reason, the Damian one was a tiny bit true. I know it’ll never happen though, it’s crazy of me to even think about doing that. But secretly, I do hope that maybe I could finally meet him one day. Except that’s pretty much impossible since I don’t even know his last name!
I decided that I needed some sleep and went to bed, hoping that I would have a final decision in the morning.
Beep. Beep. Beep
“Ugh ” I grunted
I rolled over onto my side and turned off my alarm. I went over to my closet and got dress then headed into the kitchen. Lindsey was already awake making some chocolate pancakes that smelled delicious! We said good morning to each other and I found out that she’s been awake for an hour now and it was only 8. I helped her make some coffee and set the table for us. I drank my coffee first hoping it would wake me up a bit more, which it did.
“So what are your plans for today?” I asked, starting up a conversation
“Well not much, just gonna start packing some stuff up today I guess” she answered
“Crap, I still need to choose..” I muttered to myself
“Hmm, did you say something?” she asked
“Oh no, it was nothing” I smiled
“So have you chosen yet?” she asked, expectantly
“Well…I don‘t think it‘s right for me to go to Ireland right now…”Please comment, especially if you would like more!

Since you've been waiting long for an update, i'm posting 2 chapters this time Chapter 3
“Well…I don‘t think it‘s right for me to go to Ireland right now…but that’s what I also think about traveling, or in this case, moving. So I do believe that it’s time for a change, and what I’m basically trying to tell you is, oh what the heck, I’ll do it!” I said
“Really?! Like no joke?!” she exclaimed
“Let’s move to Ireland!!” I shouted
“Oh thank you so much Kathy for doing this!” she wrapped me into a great bear hug
“My pleasure” I laughed “Now c’mon we’ve got flights to book!”
So from that day on, my days of living in the states were now numbered. After about a week and a half of packing, making arrangements, shipping our furniture, finding a place to live in Derry I didn’t realize moving was this hard! I don’t think I ever wanna go through this again. Thankfully after 2 weeks of chaos, we were ready. We already said our goodbyes to our families and friends so all that was left is heading onto that airplane to Ireland!
Today was it, the big final goodbye is today. It was 9 AM and Lindsey & I gather our suitcases then took one last look at our apartment and left for the airport. I was so excited to board that plane and head to Ireland. Even after checking in we still had 30 minutes until we boarded the plane so we decided to buy some time by getting some star bucks in the airport. Once we got our orders we went back to the terminal and just talked for a bit.
“So have you looked for any job openings in Derry yet?” Lindsey asked
“Well I did see this one ad on the internet, they’re looking for a photographer for some type of band thingy. So I might check that out” I told her
“Ooo sounds interesting, do you remember the name of the band?”
“Umm no actually, I’d have to look at the ad again for more information” I replied
“Well I’m sure they’ll hire you, you’re a great photographer” she smiled at me
“Thanks” I smiled back “C’mon people are boarding now, let’s go”
I never really liked flying, in fact it kinda scares me. Usually if I have a choice to drive, I would. I can’t exactly put my finger on what scares me the most, the distance from the ground, or the terrible things that could go wrong. I guess it’s both. I also don’t like it when my ears pop, it feels weird to me.
I try spending the whole plane ride sleeping, but I didn’t succeed. In the seat in front of me was a little baby wailing for it’s bottle and I could hear the mother moving things around in her bag, possibly looking for it’s bottle. I choose to talk to Lindsey the rest of the flight, who was also awoken by the baby. She told me about the place we were going to be living in. It turns out that we weren’t going to be living in an apartment anymore, we were going to be living with Liz’s older cousin, in a single family home. She would also be picking us up from the airport when we landed.
After 2 restroom breaks, 2 movies, 1 cup of ginger ale, and 1 small pack of those peanuts they give you, we finally landed. Once we walked over to baggage claim and got our suitcases, Lindsey went over to a quieter place to call her cousin to see where she was. I didn’t understand why I was still yawning because I did get some sleep on the flight here. I looked at my cell phone to see what time it was. It read 5:00 PM. I thought to myself 5?! Why is it dark out then?
“Ye on Irish time now hun” A young brunette smiled at me, answering the questioning look on my face
“Oh right, I forgot about that. Well this is gonna take me awhile to adjust to the time change” I said, listening to her accent
“Ye get used to it eventually” she replied
“Oh Kathy, you met my cousin” Lindsey said, hugging her cousin hello
“Nice to meet you, I’m Kathy” I smiled
“Yes I know, I’ve heard much about you” she gestured towards Liz “I’m Kayla, I like your necklace by the way”
“Thank you” I responded, touching the heart pendant resting on my collar bone
“Now let’s get you gals home, so you can get some rest” Kayla suggested
After about 15 minutes of driving in the dark and just little bits of chatter here and there, we arrive at a nice home in a nice, cozy looking neighborhood. ‘So this is home…I think I’m going to like it a lot’ I thought to myself, while looking at the surroundings around me.
We got all our luggage inside and decided to hit the sack and do everything tomorrow, since Liz & I were jet lagged. Kayla said she got all the things, that we sent over here and that they were in our rooms already. We thanked her and then said goodnight and headed upstairs to find our rooms.
It was easy to tell our rooms apart because most of my stuff is green, and Lindsey's stuff is mostly blue. I grabbed a pair of pajamas from my suitcase and changed into them and went straight to the bed afterwards.
Chapter 4
-A Week Later-
Lindsey’s gone to work and today was Kayla’s day off from work so it was just me and her at home today. I thought it would be a good time to find out more information about that photography job for the band. I went and got my laptop out and went to the website that I bookmarked so I wouldn’t loose it. I read the information and criteria needed and thought I that I fitted the criteria. I looked around the website trying to find a number I could call to set up an interview. Finally I found one, I reached over to the desk to grab my phone but when I opened it, my phone was dead. I look around the room trying to find a house phone somewhere in here, but it didn’t seem like there was one. I got up and went downstairs to the living room where Kayla was.
“Hey Kayla”
“Hey Kathy, what’s the craic?” she asked, looking up from the book she was reading
“Craic?” I questioned
“Oh sorry, it’s just Irish slang. It sort of means like ‘How‘s it going?’ as an American would put it” she answered
“Ohh, well I was wondering if I could use your cell phone, my battery ran our” I held up my phone to show her
“Sure…uhhh, just let me go find it first” she got up and left for a minute and came back into the living room with her cell & handed it to me
“Not to be nosy o anything, but who are you calling?” she asked, curiously
“Oh I’m just trying to schedule an appointment for a job interview. And I’m suppose to be calling someone by the name of Sharon Browne” I replied
“Sharon Browne? The producer?”
“Um yeah actually, you know her?” I asked
“Well yeah, she’s actually one of my Aunts…Hey, I could set you up for the job if you want, like call her up and introduce as one of my friends who’s interested in the job” she offered
“Wow, yea that’d we really cool and nice of you to do” I said
“Here, hand me the phone I’ll call her for ye” she told me
I gave her the phone and watched her dial Sharon’s number in. I never realized that one of Lindsey’s Aunts was a producer. I watched Kayla wait for the phone to be picked up, but as it was ringing she put her hand over the receiver and asked me quietly when I was able to do an interview. I told her any time is fine. I sat down and waited to hear how the conversation goes. Kayla did the same thing and the put the phone on speaker phone, so I could hear too and set it on the table.
“Hello? Aunt Sharon? It’s Kayla” she said into the phone
“Oh hello dear! I wasn’t expecting you to call, how are ya?” she asked
“I’m great, and yourself?” I asked back
“Good, but busy like always” Sharon laughed “Was there something ye need dear?”
“Oh right, well remember how Lindsey was moving in with me? Well her best friend, Kathy moved to Ireland to, and she’s a photographer. That’s when I remembered that you were looking for one also, and we were wondering if you’re interested?” Kayla asked her Aunt
“Well yes of course, but I would like to meet with her and see some sample work of hers first. I’m going to be out of town on Wednesday & the rest of the week. So how about Tuesday, which is tomorrow.” Sharon asked
“Tomorrow would be great, what time would you like her there?”
“Um, sometime in the afternoon, so 2 would be fine” she answered
“Okay thanks Aunt Sharon, you probably want to get back to what you were doing so we’ll talk another time”
“Alright, bye Kayla”
“Bye Aunt Sharon” She said, then closed her cell phone
“Thanks again for doing this Kayla” I said, gratefully
“No problem” she smiled at me “Hey, wanna go out for some lunch?” Kayla asked
“Sure, food sounds good right about now” And as if on cue my stomach rumbled which us both laugh
“Haha, come on I’ll take ya to one of my favorite places” she said please comment if you want more!

Glad you guys are liking it! another long update again, so enjoy!Chapter 5
“A pub?" I asked when we finally arrived "I didn’t know they also serve food too” I said
“Well not all pubs do, but they’re a few out there that do” she answered
“Hmm I never knew that..” I followed her into the pub to a table by a window.
I looked around the pub, which was pretty crowded. I was guessing the reason was because a soccer game was on the TV right now. While we were waiting for a waiter to come take our orders, Kayla and I chatted quietly. Finally after about 4 minutes a waiter came over to our table. I wasn’t sure what food was good or not, so I trusted Kayla and got the same thing she had.
“So how long have you lived here in Ireland?” I asked
“Well I lived here when I traveled abroad for my senior year in college and basically fell in love with this place, so if you count that it’d be 5 years” Kayla answered
“I can see why, it‘s so beautiful here. It‘s like everywhere you look you would see some sort green landscape.” I agreed
“I’ll tell ya what, how about I take you & Liz sight seeing sometime this week and I‘ll show you some great places to take pictures?” she suggested
“Yeah that’d be fun, I’d love to see the city” I said
Right about then our food came to our table. As we were both about to dig in, a loud cheer erupted around us. My guess was that one of the teams finally scored. Kayla and I couldn’t help but laugh at the all enthusiasm we were surrounded with.
About 20 minutes later of eating and chatting we were ready for the check. We decided to make it fair and split the cost of lunch in half. Before we headed out, I excuse myself from the table to use the restroom. I stood up then turned around to the direction of the restroom. But as I was turning around I bumped into someone, and they were also holding their drink in they’re hand…I learned that the hard way. Most of his drink splashed onto my face and was dripping down to my neck.
“Aye, I’m so sorry miss” the guy apologized
“Nice one Dee!” said a group of guys snickering, I presumed they were his friends
“Um it’s okay, really” I said
“Um here let me help you” he said taking napkins from the table and handing me some
I started wiping my neck before it could drip any lower. And while I was doing that, he was drying off my forehead. It was quite awkward, to say the least. I told him he didn’t have to and could go back to his friends. But he just ignored the suggestion I made. For the first time, during that little incident we both met each other’s eyes. I couldn’t help but think, that I knew and seen those pair blue eyes before somewhere.
I clear my throat to break the silence. “Well, um I should go now…thanks for helping me dry off” I said, walking backwards slowly
“Awk it was the least I could do” he said with a smile
Then I turned around and walked back to Kayla, who was trying to stifle her laugh.
“Did you see?” I said, giggling a bit myself
“Every bit of it” she chuckled
“C’mon, let’s go home, my face is icky now” I said, standing up
“What about the restroom?” She replied
“Well whadda you know, I don’t have to pee anymore!” I answered, which made Kayla laugh again
As we walked out, I made eye contact with “Dee” again for the last time, and he gave me a slight nod, and in return I gave him a slight smile.
Chapter 6
“I’m actually feeling a bit nervous right now” I admitted to Liz
“Don’t worry Kathy, you’ll do fine” Lindsey gave me an encouraging smile
“I sure hope so” I muttered, while getting out of the car
I went inside with my portfolio in my hand and Lindsey by my side, who decided to come in and visit her aunt and cousins. We walked in and were greeted by a lady, whom I expected to be Sharon. Lindsey didn’t want to interfere with the interview so she opted to go find her 3 cousins.
“Hi, nice to finally meet you Mrs. Browne, I’m Kathy Greene” I said
“Nice to meet you Kathy, please call me Sharon. Now let‘s get down to business” she smiled at me
“Okay, well this is my portfolio with some of my work, and this is my resume with references if you need them.” I handed her both of them
She first took a look at my resume for a few minutes, then finally I saw her nod. Then she reached to get my portfolio, it made me nervous to have people judging my work. Soon I found myself holding my breath waiting for a response of some sort. While she was flipping through the photos I saw her nod, and every once in awhile I would hear her say ‘very nice’ or ‘hmm…’ After she was done flipping through, she looked up at me and started to ask questions.
“So Kathy, how old are you?” she asked first
“I am 21”I answered
“Well you certainly do have great photography skills for a 21 year old” she complimented
“Thank you” I said
“How long have you had a love for photography?” she questioned
“Since I was at a young age”
“Mhm…I see that most of your work are of objects and landscapes. Do you have any experiences when working with people as your objective?” she asked
“Well yes I have, I’ve done weddings in the past, and if I’m correct there are some in the portfolio. I’ve also worked at a newspaper company as a photographer, which involved taking pictures of people also” I answered
“Well then since you have, you should know already that I expect you to capture my boys so they look the best they can” she advised
“Yes of course” I agreed
“Now one last question. How do you feel about traveling to different places for a certain amount of time?” she asked
“You mean like touring with the group?” I said
“Yes, touring” she clarified
“Well, I always wanted like to take trips to many places, but I never really found a time to do that. So I think I would like touring a lot” I answered
“Mhm…” she said, nodding her head up and down slowly, probably deciding
After a minute she stood up and said “Well I guess there’s nothing left to say, other then…” I held my breath waiting for it. “Congratulations Kathy, welcome to the Celtic Thunder crew!” she held out her hand
“Really? You mean it?” I said, excitedly giving her a handshake
She laughed “Yes, now let me introduce you to the main people you’ll be working with”
Sharon walked over to the stairwell and shouted “Guys! Come down here, there’s someone I need to introduce you to!”
The first person I saw come running down was Lindsey, who I excitedly gave a hug too. While we were still waiting for the guys to come down, she told me she was listening in on the interview and heard that I got the job. Finally the guys were filing down the stairs. The first was a guy with shaggy blonde hair, and looked mighty tall. Second was a guy with brown hair, and a bit of stubble on his face. Third was a guy with dark black hair and a great smile. Fourth was a man with no hair, but had a fatherly sense to him. Lastly was a guy with his brown hair gelled up I couldn’t tell anything else because his eyes were like glued onto the TV that was on near us, which was airing another soccer game. So I only saw half of his face. Sharon started introducing the guys by going down the line.
“This is Keith Harkin, the surfer” she pointed to guy #1
“This is Paul Byrom, beware these two like to pull pranks” she pointed to guy #2, they both protested but she moved on
“This is Ryan Kelly…the fitness machine” she pointed to guy #3
“This is George Donaldson, otherwise known as the father figure” she pointed to guy #4
“Lastly this is Damian, or as I like to call, the only innocent one” the other guys laughed at that little description she gave and around this time, guy #5 removed his eyes from the TV
“YOU?” we both said at the same time, then it went kinda silent for a second ahh now it gets interesting! haha. comment please!

Lol, im glad everyone is loving it. here ya go! Chapter 7
“Small world eh?” he laughed nervously
Liz looked at me, and quietly whispered “Is he…?” referring to my pen pal Damian
“No…well I don’t think so” I said, and she nodded
“So ye know each other?” Paul asked
“Well sort of… we met each other last night…” I said, but the others wanted to know more
“At a pub…” he continued
“Ohhhhhhh” the guys all said, assuming they knew what happened
“Uh gosh, why do I have a feeling that I don’t want to know how the story ends” Sharon said
“No, no it was nothing like THAT. Well you see, I kinda…” Damian trailed off, which made everyone even more curious
“Spilled his drink on me” I finished his sentence
“Nice one Damo!” Keith said, playfully hitting Damian in the shoulder
“Well it was on accident!” he tried to defend himself
While they kept teasing him, I looked over at Liz who was trying to control her own chuckling.
____ Damian's POV _____
‘Oh Goody, now I’m gonna get some teasing tonight’ I thought to myself after the pub story was told to everyone. Anyways, after all the jokes were thrown out and everything. Sharon finally got a chance to introduce the girl. Her name was Kathy Greene. When Sharon said ‘Kathy’ I couldn’t help but think to my old pen pal that I had in 9th grade. But thought nothing of it because it was just a coincidence, like always. But I found that a part of myself wanted to know more about her, she looked…interesting.
While the Sharon & Kathy were discussing more business information, the guys and I went to the sofa to finish watching footy. About a half hour later during a commercial I heard chairs scraping along the floor so I look in the direction of where the sounds came from. I see Lindsey and Kathy stand up.
“Well Kathy & I should be getting home Aunt Sharon, it’s almost dinner time” Lindsey told her Aunt
“Oh why yes it is,” Sharon said looking at the clock “Say, why don’t you guys stay for dinner with us, we’ll order pizza. And knowing Kayla she probably planning the same thing since she doesn’t like cooking, we can call her up and tell her to come” She reached for her cell.
“Oh we don’t wanna be a bother” Kathy said
“Nonsense, it’s perfectly fine” Sharon insisted, then I saw her dial a number and heard her tell Kayla to come over here for dinner.
After the call she told Kathy & Lindsey to go relax and hang out with us 5 while we waited for the pizza.
Kathy quietly whispered to Lindsey “Wow your aunt is really nice”
Lindsey whispered back “haha yeah, I know”
In the corner of my eye I saw the 2 walking over here. Instinctively, I took my legs off the couch to make room for them and then I gestured for them to sit. They both said hello, then us 5 said hello back. Lindsey, who already knew us from past visits to Sharon, sat down without any shyness. But I wouldn’t be able to say that about her friend, Kathy seemed nervous and timid around us. I laughed in my mind because I couldn’t see why she would be so, we’re all friendly people. I knew by the time our upcoming tour ended she’ll be comfortable around us, and we’d all act like family.
“So Kathy, your our new photographer eh?” Paul asked
“Uh yeah” she agreed
“Can I see some of your photographs?” he asked
“Oh sure” she answered and gave him her portfolio
Suddenly everyone was crowding around Paul to get a look at the photos. We started flipping through the photos slowly, making some kind of comments. We stopped on a beautiful sunset in the country and you could hear an audible wow from everyone. Then we finally got to the last page, which was a picture of a couple at their wedding staring into each others’ eyes, smiling while holding up their glasses ready for a toast.
“Now that’s a cute couple, makes me I wish I had a gal” Keith said, which made everyone giggle
“Ahh it makes me miss Carrie” George said
“It’s okay mate, you can always call her” Ryan assured
“Yeah, I think I’ll do just that” he said, then left the room
“You really know how capture moments” I complimented
“Thanks” she smiled
Paul handed the portfolio back to her and then Keith started asking her questions. His first question for her was if she would be going everywhere with us on tour, which she answered to with a yes. Then he asked her how old she was, and she told him 21. Which I noticed was the same age as mine. That was when Ryan made a comment about Keith only wanting to know so he could hit on her, which got everyone laughing. Well except for Keith, who gave Ryan a punch in the arm and Kathy who blushed a little. Trying to change the subject, Keith asked about how come she didn’t have any hint of an Irish accent in her voice. Which I also found interesting. But before she could answer Sharon came into the room.
“Oh Keith stop interrogating the poor girl” she advised
“Aye, sorry Kathy” he said, apologetically
“It’s alright” she replied back
Right about that moment the doorbell rang Sharon got up and went to the door. We all heard feet shuffling and words being exchanged, then finally we see Kayla coming into the room.
“Hey guys!” she greeted everyone
A round of “Hellos” “Hey” and “Hi” began in the room.
“HI KAYLA!” Keith said a little too loudly, and over excitedly
Keith stood up and practically ran to where Kayla was standing. Anyone could see from a mile away that he liked her. But it is amusing to watch how he acts around her, he fumbles his words, stumbles over things trying to get near her, making common and simple mistakes. It’s funny, but cute. Kayla, on the other hand doesn’t show her affection as much, but you can tell that it’s there somewhere. Nothing has happened between them yet, but we all think they’d make a great couple.
“Hey Keith” she said, smiling
“Um, hey do you wanna see the new guitar I just got, that my sister gave to me as a gift?” he asked her
“Sure, I’d love to” she smiled at him and off they went to another room
A few seconds after they left, the doorbell rang again. Sharon told Paul to get the get door while she gets her wallet. I guess she couldn’t find her wallet because after a couple of minutes I started to hear Paul start cracking some lame jokes to the pizza man. The rest of us were giggling and feeling sorry for the person having to hear them. I remembered I still had some cash left over in my pocket, and decided to go pay for it before the guy got annoyed and left with our pizza. When I got to the door, I heard Paul in the middle of saying a knock-knock joke.
“Orange who?” the pizza man said with no interest
“Orange you glad I didn’t say banana?!” after he said the punch line, he started laughing at his own joke by himself.
“Looks like I came at the right time!” I announced
“Oh thank god…” I heard the guy mumble
But I guess Paul didn’t hear him so he started another joke. “Why did the chicken cross the road?” he began
He handed me the pizza boxes then I apologized to the guy, having to listen to the jokes and handed him the money, telling him to keep the change. Before Paul could finish the punch line I pushed him back into the house and closed the door. Then, to my surprise, he opened the door again and shouted loud enough so the whole neighborhood could hear.
“SO HE COULD GET TO THE OTHER SIDE!” Paul shouted after him
I walked away from him into the living room shaking my head and chuckling, not at the joke, but him.
hope ya like it. please comment!

Here's the next chapter! this is all i've gotten typed up so far, so the updates may be a bit slower so sorry about that.Chapter 8
I shouted loud for everyone to be able to hear that the pizzas here. Sharon came into the room first, thanking me for paying for the pizza. Then Paul came followed by George. The last 2 were the ‘lovebirds’. We all grabbed a slice of pizza, then Ryan started off the conversation.
“So Paul, those jokes…they sure are something.” Ryan commented, trying not to laugh
“Thanks mate!…hey, you guys wanna hear some more?” he offered
“No!” we all shouted, then we busted out laughing at that
“Fine, don’t gotta shout!” Paul said, which for some reason made us laugh even more.
When we finally calmed down, Sharon started the conversation up again by asking how we were feeling about the upcoming tour. Needless to say, we were are hyped up about it. This time it was the ‘Take Me Home’ tour. There was one thing that kinda bothers me though, the skinny jeans. They’re just so much tighter than what I normally wear, I’m not quite sure how I’m going to be going running up and down those stairs to the mic, in time for my part. But I guess that’s what rehearsals are for.
I was getting a bit thirsty so I got up and asked anyone if they wanted some coke, which they all did. I headed to the kitchen and got out some cups and the big bottle of coke in the fridge. I slowly poured the soda in equally. Then, stupid me decided to carry all the cups at once instead of making two trips. Finally I got all the cups in my arms, it kinda looked like I was hugging them.
“Hey do you need some help carr --” When I heard Kathy’s voice I turned around a bit too fast I guess, and she was a lot closer than I assumed because I ended up bumping into her. And well…you probably know what happened.
“Aye!…I should really stop doing that” I said, looking at her shirt dripping with coke
She laughed “Yeah, that would help”
“So um, is it too late to say yes to your offer?” I smiled sheepishly
“Maybe just a bit” she nodded
Then she looked down at her shirt “Well I guess I gotta give you some credit, you didn’t get it on my face this time” I laughed at her little joke.
I gotta admit, I thought she would’ve gotten angry with me cause now I’ve done that twice to her. But surprisingly she took it well, which made me a bit relieved. After we cleaned up the floor which had a little puddle of coke on it, we got back to the matter of her shirt.
“I’m guessing you didn’t bring a spare shirt…” I inferred
“Oh yeah, cause I bring extra shirts to job interviews” she said sarcastically
“Well if you were like some kind of T-shirt designer you might” I suggested
“I guess I chose the wrong career then?” she laughed
“I guess so!” I agreed “Now back to your shirt, uhhh…here, come with me.”
I lead her to Sharon’s guest room, where I was staying in at the moment. I unzipped my red suitcase and started searching for a specific shirt that I had in mind.
“I have to wear one of your shirts?” she asked
“Unless you wanna stay in that sticky and wet shirt of yours, you don’t really have much of a choice” I said
I pulled out the shirt and handed it to her. She unfolded it and held it up to her body. She took a look at it then looked up at me with one eyebrow raised and a questioning look.
“It’s… you” she stated
“Beautiful ain’t it?” I said, with a chuckle in my voice
She rolled her eyes and walked over to the bathroom and closed the door. I bent back down to zip my suitcase back up. Right when I stood back up, the bathroom door opened and Kathy came out.
“So tell me again why you have a shirt with your face on it?” she asked, pulling out her hair from the neck hole
“Oh it’s one of Celtic Thunder’s merchandise…hey whadda know, it’s Damian McGinty Friday too. Perfect day to wear the shirt!” I noted
“Damian McGinty Friday?” she asked incredulously
“It’s a Thunderhead thing” I explained
“Thunderhead?” she stood up and put her hand on my shoulder and said “You my friend, are living in some strange world, with your own day and words” Then she walked out of the room
I laughed and followed her out, closing the door behind me. Hope it was good! please comment

Super longgg update, so enjoy!______ Kathy's POV ______
Chapter 9
About 5 days later after the job interview, Kayla came home with the biggest smile on her face. When Lindsey first saw her like that we were trying to figure out what happened to her. Soon enough, we kinda got creeped out because she was acting super happy and humming while she did everything. Finally me and Liz came to a reasonable conclusion. Her and Keith were finally going out. But just to be sure, we asked her.
“So…are you and Keith officially dating now?” Lindsey blurted out
Kayla looked at the both of us for a second and then a big smile started to spread across her face. We took that as a yes. The both us started congratulating her and made comments about how is was ‘bout time they started dating. Then we made her spill the deats.
At the end of her story all Liz and I could say was “Aww.” It was quite sweet to how he asked her. We decided to celebrate by having a little girls’ night out in town. First we went to a movie and then we did a bit of shopping, then had dinner a restaurant Kayla picked. Then on our way home we went and got some ice cream. It was a great night out and we all had a blast.
We decided to end this night on a high note and hit the sack. Although we were hyper we were all pretty exhausted at the same time so it was easy to fall asleep. From what I could tell, I was having a nice dream where I was at this beautiful cliff that had a great view. But I wasn’t alone, someone was there with me. It was a guy but I couldn’t see his face, it was just a blur.
Then my dream started to switch. I tripped and fell over the ledge. I imagined I was falling in my sleep which made me jerk awake. I hate having dreams where I’m falling because it feels so real sometimes. To calm myself down, I went and got myself a glass of water. When I came back into my room I looked at the clock, it was 5:00 AM. I hopped back into bed hoping I can get some more sleep done.
But no such luck happened. I kept tossing and turning trying to fall back asleep. So about an hour later, I just decided to stay awake until the other 2 were awake. I turned on the TV but kept the volume low so I wouldn’t wake the others. Turns out there’s nothing good on at 6 in the morning, so I turned the TV back off. I wasn’t sure what to do, so I thought about what I used to do in New York when I was bored.
Then I remembered, I would take out the letters from Damian and read them. I walked over to the desk and grabbed a little blue box that contained the letters in it. Then I jumped back into bed snuggling with my blanket around me. I open the lid to the small box and take them all out carefully reading all of them over again. I’ve realized that I’ve probably reread them like 20 times.
This time was just like any other, me reading them and wishing I could meet him. If only I knew his last name then maybe I could look him up. Maybe in time we’ll meet someday. Then some realization came to me, would he want to meet me? Well whatever happens I hope it’s good, I thought. I went back to flipping through the letters and reading. Before I got to the last letter I drifted off to sleep finally.
Chapter 10
The first thing I heard in the morning was a bird chirping near my window. Every time I moved I would hear a crunching noise. That’s when I realized I was sleeping on the letters, but they weren’t too badly crumpled. I rolled over to face my clock, which read 9:10. ‘9:10?!’ I thought. I’m suppose to be at Sharon’s again at 9:30 to discuss the tour business. Including the 10 minute drive there, that left me only 10 minutes to get ready!
I threw my covers over frantically and rushed to the bathroom and got ready quickly. Then I put on some grey dress pants and a nice blouse. ‘Argh,’ I grunted looking at my hair, which by the way looked like a birds nest. I quickly combed it and tied it up into a messy bun. I ran around the house swiftly grabbing everything I needed, cell phone, car keys, note pad, wallet, etc. I said a quick good morning to Liz & Kayla as I headed out the door.
I got into my car and looked at the clock, I only had 9 minutes left. I backed out of the driveway hoping there was no traffic. As I got onto the main road and saw that the traffic was actually good for once. I heaved a sigh of relief since I would only be late by a minute or two.
When I got there, I was again greeted by Sharon again. After the greetings, we submerged ourselves into business talk.
“Alrighty, so the tour will be kicking off in a week and a half in New York” she informed
“That sounds good, I guess I should start packing then” I replied
“Oh wait, the tour will start then, but the guys, Phil & I will be going a few days sooner to squeeze in lat minute rehearsal time. So would you like to come then?” she asked
“Sure, that would be fine” I answered
“Okay then, I’ll be booking our flights later then. So next thing we need to go over is the tour schedule” she said
She grabbed a piece of paper that had the dates on there. Then she pointed out the dates I would have off to relax and the little breaks we’d have off. I asked her how long the tour would be and she answered that it would be about 2 months long. 2 months, wow that’s gonna be quite a long time. I hope I don’t get homesick too much, I thought. Afterwards she told me about the sleeping arrangements and how sometimes we would also get to sleep in hotels also.
While we going through paper work for me to sign and going over my contract someone came into the room. It was Damian, still in his T-shirt and batman boxers. I guess he just woke up, because he was rubbing his eyes like he was tired. I tried to hold my laughter inside when I saw him.
“Good morning, well hello Kathy” he said yawning
“Hey Damian” I said back
“Damo go get dressed” Sharon said, rolling her eyes
He looked down and realized he was still in his pajamas “Oops,” he turned and walked back upstairs.
A few minutes later, while Sharon & I were still doing paper work, Damian came back down except this time he was fully dressed. He decided to leave us be and go make some breakfast instead. Finally, 20 minutes later we finished going over everything and all was left was for the tour to start! I had to admit, I was excited about touring all over the U.S and some parts of Canada.
As I was about to leave, Damian came in and announced that he made breakfast and it was all ready. He asked if I had breakfast, and I answered that I haven’t because I was in a rush to get here. So he and Sharon insisted that I’d stay for breakfast also. And so I did. When Damian finished getting all guys awake and downstairs we started eating.
I felt a bit awkward and nervous sitting with all of them. I was looking down at my plate of food avoiding eye contact. But I could feel some of there eyes on me. I cleared my throat and started up a conversation.
“So Damian, nice cooking skills. Usually I would burn something when I cook” I said
He chuckled “Thanks, but I can only cook simple things”
Ryan snickered at the response Damian gave and mumbled “Ye got that right”
Paul saw my confused face and explained “Well ya see, little Damo here, was one day trying to bake a cake from scratch. So long story short, he forgot about it in the oven and it burnt, badly. So we ended up buying a cake for Keith’s birthday”
“Well in my defense, it would’ve been a darn good cake!…minus the burnt part” Damian said, sheepishly which got us all laughing.
When we finished eating I decided to make myself useful by doing the dishes. Sharon announced that she was going to go take a nap. All the guys went to the living room to watch TV, well all but one.
“Whadda think you’re doing?” Damian asked, watching me gather the plates and glasses
“I’m going to wash the dishes…is there a problem?” I questioned
“No, no. you’re a guest. I’ll be doing the dishes” he said taking stack of plates in my hand” he argued
“Yeah but you did the cooking, so the least I could do is wash. So thanks, but no thanks” I took the stack of plates back and started heading for the sink, but he blocked my way.
“But it wouldn’t be very gentleman like if I made you do it, now would it?” he raised an eyebrow
I chuckled and rolled my eyes “Trust me, I insist” but he still didn’t budge
“Alright how about this, I’ll do the soaping part, and you rinse?” I suggested
He smiled “Sounds good” he turned and walked to the sink
“This will be interesting” I mumbled
He turned on the faucet and took the bottle of soap and started squeezing it. Next thing I knew, the sink was flowing with bubbles. I grabbed the bottle away from him and told him not sure much. But all he did was chuckle and said “Oops”
“Anyways, I thought I was in charge of the soaping part” I joked
“I guess I got carried away?” he smiled sheepishly
I grabbed a sponge and starting soaping the dishes, and while Damian was waiting for me to be ready he was playing with the bubbles. After I got 3 plates ready to be ready, Damian called my name.
“Hey Kathy, look! I’m santa!” he had the foaming bubbles on his chin and he started doing the belly laugh.
I started to burst of laughter. Then I took my hand and swiped his ‘beard’ and said “Not anymore!”
He pretended to look shock “You took my beard! You’re going on the naughty list!”
Now it was my turn to pretend being shocked “Take that back!” I said
“Only if you give my beard back” he replied
“Fine” I scooped a pile of foam into my hands but instead of putting it on his chin, I dumped it onto his head.
“Oh your gonna pay!” he shouted, then proceeded to dump the foam on my head
For revenge, I splashed water on him, which he ended up doing the same thing to me. So there we were having a water/soap fight in the kitchen. It the end we were in stitches from laughing so hard. Why is it that whenever I’m near this guy I always get wet? Either way, I was having a lot of fun with him.
“Okay, okay I surrender!” I put my hands up, laughing at the same time
“Haha, sometimes I can’t believe we’re actually 21, we act like kids!” he commented
“That’s for sure! Now c’mon let’s finish washing the dishes”
“Alrighty!” he said
When we were nearing the end of the pile of dishes Keith came in looking for Damian.
“Hey Dam--. Whoa what happened to you two?” he asked, looking at us
“Uhh, best not to ask…what’s the craic?” Damian asked back
“We wanted to see if you were in for a wee game of twister…but I see that your busy” he said that last part looking at me
“Aye I’ll play, but after we’re done washing the dishes” he replied
“Kay, sounds cool. Kathy you want in?” Keith asked
“Twister? Ehh, you can count me out” I answered
“Alright, see ya in a few Damo” he turned and started to walk out but then paused and turned back “By the way, there’s a dishwasher right next to the sink” he pointed to it, and walked off
Damian and I looked at each other and just started to laugh. please comment, especially if you would like more!

Sorry it's so short, but it's midterm week and i have to study alot! Chapter 11
It seemed as time flew by fast. Just yesterday I had a nice dinner out with Lindsey and Kayla, to say goodbye. Now I was making sure I had everything that I needed for the next 2 months packed and ready to go before I headed to bed. I didn’t think I could go to bed, I was a bit anxious for tomorrow, when I’ll be flying. It seems weird and ironic because I moved here to Ireland from New York, but I got a job that involved me traveling back to the states.
It wasn’t until I woke up that I realized that I only got about 5-6 hours of sleep. Needless to say, I was tired. I couldn’t believe the day was finally here, I don’t think I’ve been this excited for awhile. For some reason, I’ve been getting this funny feeling in my stomach that something’s gonna happen on this tour, but I just don’t know what yet.
I decide to dress comfortably for the long plane ride so I just put on some jeans and a sweatshirt over my tank top. I go downstairs after I brush my teeth and everything. I greet Kayla and Lindsey good morning and headed over to the counter to pour some coffee.
“So is everything set and ready?” Kayla asked me
“Yup. Man, 2 months without you guys…I don’t know how I’m going to make it” I said
“Oh I’m sure you’ll make it just fine” Liz giggled
“And you got some mighty fine guys to accompany you” Kayla put it.
Liz and I rolled our eyes knowing that she was talking about Keith.
“So do you think you guys will be able to come for a show or something?” I asked “Yup! We still have to decide which one, but we’ll be at one don’t worry” Lindsey assured
“So what time should you be at the airport?” Kayla asked
I looked at my watch and said “We’ll my flight takes off at 10 AM and I wanna get there an hour earlier, plus the 15 minute car ride…I guess I should be leaving now!” I answered
“Okay well hurry and get your stuff together so we can drive you to the airport!” Kayla rushed
I ran up to my room and grabbed my bag which had everything I needed. I was about to grab my two small suitcases, but as I walked past my desk I saw the little blue box and thought about it for a second. Then quickly grabbed it and put it in my suitcase.
“Kathy c’mon!” I heard Lindsey shout from the bottom of the stair case
“Coming!” I shouted back
I swiftly grabbed onto the handles of my two small suitcases and rolled them down the stairs, which made loud noises. It sounded like this: Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump! Finally I reached the bottom of the stairs and saw Kayla with the car keys and Liz waiting patiently.
“All set!” I announced
So we got into the car ready for the 15 minute car ride to the airport. As we drove I silently went through a list in my head checking to see if I forgot anything. Passport? Check. Cell phone? Check. Camera? Check. And the list kept going on and on.
15 minutes later, give or take a few, we arrived at the airport. The three of us walked into the airport in silence, waiting on the goodbyes later. Finally we reached the farthest point Liz and Kayla could go to without a ticket or passport. That’s when we all started talking at once, talking about how we’d miss each other and to keep in contact. When we each finished at the same time, we all realized we didn’t hear a thing the other said so we giggled at that.
Eventually we all repeated what we said to each other, but this time taking turns. It was kinda crazy, we were acting as if we’d never see each other again. But it kinda was, being separated from your best friend for 2 months seems like forever actually. Thank goodness they’ll come for a concert and a visit.
Kayla interrupted the silence that ensued after the good byes were broken and reminded that I should go meet up with Sharon, Phil and the guys already. So I gave them both hugs and started making my way to the terminal, with one last way to them.
After pushing through the crowds I searched for Sharon. I kept scanning around me, then finally I spotted her face amongst another small crowd. I walked quickly towards her, once I got near her I realized that the crowd around her were the guys, and some other people who I’m guessing are part of the bands because I see them carrying some instrument cases.
“Hello Sharon” I said, politely
“Hey Kathy. We’re going to board the plane as soon as Paul gets back from the restroom” she replied
I asked if she had my ticket with her and then she handed me mine. We waited a minute, then finally Paul was back. As the whole group gathered they’re carryon’s and stuff we started to board the plane. Once we passed the tunnel thing and was in the actual plane I looked down at my ticket to see where I was sitting.
“D27” I said quietly, to myself
I walked up and down the aisle a bit to find my seat. I knew I was in the D section, all I had to do was find 27. Eventually I got to it and realized it was a middle seat.
“Bleh, I hate the middle seats” I grunted to myself
I took out my light blue colored wrap/oversized scarf, planning on using it as a blanket. Then proceeded to put my carryon into the overhead compartment. I guess I kinda over stuffed it because it was hard to get it closed. After a minute of struggling I heard someone chuckle behind me and put their hand on the thing and helped me close it.
“Thanks,” I said, turning around “Oh, hello”
“Hey, so I over heard you grumbling and was wondering if you wanted to switch seats, not a big fan of window seats. I’m kinda afraid of heights” Damian admitted
“Sure, thanks” I responded
As he put his on stuff in the compartment, I went and got settled in my new window seat. As I waited for the rest of the passengers to board the plane and settle in, I looked out the window. I turned around when I heard Damian sit down next to me and sigh. I looked at him with his head leaned back and his eyes closed.
“Getting a head start on your sleeping?” I said
He turned his head to me and opened his eyes “Yupp!”
I turned back to the window since we were starting to take off. I chuckled silently to myself thinking ‘This is going to be one interesting flight…’It wasn't very interesting, but hopefully the next post will be! please comment!!

Means a lot that you're reading! Here's the next 2 chapters Chapter 12
I lifted my head up, which felt like it weighed a ton at the moment. I rubbed my eyes with my hand then blinked a few times to be aware of what was happening. I looked at what was lying on my shoulder and hadn’t realized that Damian was sleeping on my shoulder and that I fell asleep leaning on his head. I my throat felt really dry so I tried to turn my head trying to find a stewardess, without disturbing Damian.
When I spotted one, I waved her over with my free arm that wasn’t next to Damian. When came to me, asked what I needed. I quietly whispered to her if I could have a glass of water, but my whisper was to quiet for her to hear. I strained my head closer to her and whispered to her again for a glass of water. She responded with a nod, and left. I laid back against the seat again, slowly. As I did so, Damian moaned and rearranged himself so that his head rested between my neck and shoulder.
“Oops, sorry” I whispered quietly to him, but he probably couldn’t hear
The stewardess came back with my glass of water. I thanked her and she smiled at me and left to attend other passengers. I took a sip from the glass, then pulled down the mini table from the back of the seat that was in front of me and set my drink down. Usually this would feel uncomfortable to me when people slept on my shoulder, but oddly I felt cozy like this. I looked down at him and smiled, then decided to drape some of my blanket (The big wrap thingy) over him.
______Damian’s POV_______
My eyelids started to flutter and slowly I started open my eyes. Whoa, I thought. Did I actually fall asleep on her shoulder? I lifted my head from her shoulder, and smiled at her.
“Hello, sleepy head” she said
“Hi, thanks for the blanket” I replied
“Sorry to stop the convo, but I haven’t peed in hours so if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to the restroom!” she explained
“Oops, guess that’s my fault.” I laughed, moving my legs out of the way so she could walk by
A minute or two later I hear Kathy coming back so I make way for her again. She sat back down and settle in again. We sat there slightly awkwardly not knowing what to say next. As I was about to open my mouth to say something, she already started talking.
“So, did you know you snore?” she asked, innocently
“Why do people think that?! I do not” I corrected
“Do too”
“Do not”
“Do too”
Just then Keith turned around in the seat in front of us and said “Don’t wanna intrude, but SHUT UP!”
When Keith turned back around, we broke into a fit of laughter. As our laughter died down, so did the conversation, again. I guess it was my turn to strike up a conversation now.
“You have a really cute laugh, you know that?” I stated
She blushed “Thanks, you too”
I smiled, “So what do you wanna talk about for the next,” I looked at my watch to see how much time we had left before we landed “hour or so.”
“I’m not sure,” she thought for a moment and said “Well we could each tell a little about ourselves?”
“Sounds good. Would you like to start?” I asked
“No, you can go first”
“Alrighty, let’s see where to start,” I thought for a moment “I have one brother and one sister. I love the color red. I’m a BIG Man U fan. I started with Celtic Thunder at a young age of 14.”
“Wow that’s young, you must be really good” she said, impressed
“I’ll let you be the judge of that soon” I said
I continued “My plan B, if singing didn’t work out was writing, in fact I wrote one song already with the help of Keith of course.”
“That’s really cool, what’s it called?” she asked
“Faith”
“Will I ever get a chance to hear it?” she questioned
“Ask me sometime during the tour and I’ll play it for ya” I answered
“I’ll keep that in mind. So, tell me more about you” she urged
I laughed “I think it’s your turn to share something”
“Oh alright, but I’m not very interesting. Okay so, my favorite color is green. I have 2 older sisters, no brothers. I love photography. Not a big fan of sports. I love the outdoors, so living in Ireland is perfect for me. I like having a great laugh. Um, and like any other typical girl, I like to shop” she said
I laughed at the last bit she said “I don’t know what you’re talking about, cause I think you’re interesting”
“Haha, yeah I bet” she said, sarcastically
I looked at my watch again, we had half an hour left before we would land. The rest of the plane ride we just spent talking about anything that popped into our heads. Soon enough we were buckling our seatbelts ready for landing.
Chapter 13
“Can I have your names please?” the receptionist asked everyone
We all took turns giving our names and receiving our room keys and number. It turned out that we’d all be sharing the room with another person. I’m rooming with Keith, which I’m not sure if it’s a good thing or not. I guess time will tell. Sharon booked all of our rooms on the same floor, so it’d be more convenient.
Keith and I rode the elevator up to our floor then rolled dragged our suitcases behind us while we went to find our room. Ah, here it is, room 239. I took the key card out from my pocket and swiped it into the lock thingy. We looked at each other and just dropped our stuff by the door and ran to the beds and plopped down on them.
It felt like I was on a giant marshmallow that had the smell of crisp clean sheets. Weird, but that’s the only simile I could think of. I would’ve loved to nap right then, but I couldn’t. I guess I slept to much on the plane ride that I wasn’t sleepy anymore. I sat up and sighed. I didn’t know what to do. I didn’t want to unpack, cause I would end up packing again in a few days after rehearsals are over and the tour begins.
I looked over to Keith’s bed. Keith had his eyes shut like he was sleeping, except he wasn’t. I knew because if he were sleeping, you would hear a slight snore coming from him. I walked over to his bed and started poking him.
“Ey, boyo” I said
“Whaa?” his muffled voice said
“Let’s go do something”
No response. I poked him again.
“Noo…” he whined
“There might be Guinness at the bar” I persuaded
He raised his head slightly, but his eyes were still shut. “Hmm, Guinness? Why yes I would like some, thanks buddy”
“No I didn’t say th--” I stopped and decided to give up “Oh whatever…” and I walked out of the room
I knew Ryan & Paul were in room 232 so I headed on over there. Their door was still propped open so I just did a quick knock and walked in.
“Hey guys” I said, sitting on one of the beds
“Hey Damo, whatsa craic?” Paul replied
“Keith is sleeping so there’s nothing to do and I’m not sleepy anymore” I answered
Ryan laughed “I’ll say”
“What?” Paul and I asked, confused
“I saw you on the flight with Kathy, sleeping on each other’s shoulder and sharing a blanket” he answered
“Ooo, Damo’s crushing on someone!” Paul said, poking me in the side repeatedly
“It was nothing, I just fell asleep on her shoulder!” I defended
“Mhm, sure buddy” Ryan said, chuckling
I rolled my eyes “I’m leaving” I stood up
“Wait Damo,” Paul started fluttering his eyelashes and blew me a kiss.
I pretended to catch it, then I pretended to throw it in the trashcan next to the desk. Ryan and Paul were laughing uncontrollably but Paul tried to hold it in for a second to make a fake shocked look. After he accomplished that, he started laughing again.
“Mature guys, real mature” I sighed
Just as they were calming down a bit, Zara and Kathy came peering in at the doorway
“Hey whatsa craic? We can hear you guys laughing next door” Zara asked
That set them off again, into a fit of laughter cause Kathy was there. Paul blew another kiss, thinking they would understand, but they didn’t.
“Uhm, are they drunk?” Zara asked
I shook my head “No, maybe love drunk though. But on someone else’s love”
They were still confused, but I decided it was best not to explain furthermore. I know the suspense is killing some of you, but they'll meet! I have an idea of when they will, but it's not happening yet haha. Please comment!

Okay so it's short, and not very eventful, but this is all i could come up with from dealing with writer's block. So basically it's just filler.Chapter 14
“That was great guys, but could we do another run through for the second act? We have just a few kinks we need to fix” Sharon told the guys
We had only 1 day left of rehearsals until the tour kicks off. But I don’t think we’ll be needing the last day very much, because the past 2 days of rehearsals have gone over all pretty smoothly and we got all the moves down nicely.
Everyone sighed heavily, we’ve been at it nonstop since 8 AM, it is now noon. As the band started playing the first few notes to ‘Remember me, Recuerdame’ Phil came into the auditorium announcing he brought lunch.
“Wooo, food!” Keith shouted, running over to Phil
“Ahh, can‘t wait to dig in” George said, in his deep thick accent
“What’s on the menu Phil?” Ryan asked
“Healthy stuff, to get you guys in shape for the tour” Phil answered
“Aww, shucks. I guess chocolate is out of the question then” I pouted
“Is he insinuating that we’re not in shape?” Paul whispered to Ryan
“I think he means more in shape” Ryan assured
Once everyone sat down at the small table, we finally got the food passed out. Turns out the food wasn’t that bad, we were having subs from subway. As the conversation was going smoothly, which was mostly about all the hype and excitement for the tour. Then I realized Kathy wasn’t talking much so I looked over and saw her going through her camera.
“Got some shots already?” I asked, surprised that she could get some good shots already
She looked up “Oh yeah, you’d be surprise to see how many pictures I can get from so little”
“Can we see some of them now?” George asked
“Sure” she extended out her arms to the middle of the table to make sure everyone could see the screen.
First picture was of Keith holding a piece of paper
“This was when Keith was pacing around the room going over the music and singing quietly” Kathy explained
“Hey that’s really neat looking. I didn’t even know you were taking a picture” laughed Keith
She clicked the next button and up popped a picture of George on his cell
“I remember that, I was on the phone with wee Sarah” George said, with the same big fatherly smile he had on in the picture. “I think this would look great in black and white” Kathy suggested
“Yes it would, will you edit it that way?” Sharon asked
“Sure.” Kathy pressed the ‘next’ button again and this time it was a group picture of Ryan and Paul. In the picture they were both laughing hard at something and looked as if they were about to fall out of their seats.
“What was so funny?” I asked
Ryan & Paul looked at each other and said at the same time “Don’t ask!” then they started giggling again
All of us rolled our eyes and ignored them. The next picture came up and it was of Phil playing the piano intently and his head tipped back a bit. It was cool looking because the angle of it being taken was just great
“Very well done Kathy” Phil complimented, and we all joined in
“Thank you” she smiled
Of course the next picture is of Sharon. It was actually quite an amusing picture, it was of Sharon messing around with orchestra girls and she’s holding up a violin as if she were playing it. And right behind her is Ruth who is, I guess, was trying to teacher her? Because it looked like Ruth was holding an imaginary violin in one hand and the imaginary bow in the other.
“That’s great moment to capture” I chuckled
“So how’d the lessons go Ruth?” Keith asked
“Pretty well for a beginner” Ruth laughed
After that picture of Sharon, mine was next. It was a close up on my face. I really liked it, it made my blue eyes pop a bit more.
“Yikes, your eyes…” Ryan trailed off
“…there just so…” Paul continued
“…mesmerizing…” Keith added
“… and prominent…” Sharon finished
“It looks like your eyes are staring into the distance and it never stops” Phil noted
“That’s exactly what I thought too when I first saw this picture,” Kathy chipped in “And this is the last picture…”
It was the picture of the band posing all together. And again, I loved this picture too. We all made our comments about how we loved it. Then Sharon said it was time we’d get back to work, and so we did. I couldn’t wait to take a nap after today’s work has been done. Pleaseee comment for more!!
