Here's a new one I came up with! I hope you all like it and bear with me... I don't know how fast I'll have updates. Enjoy!
She looked amazing as she danced across the stage. The effortless way she moved while playing that violin with ease, the way she moved like she was floating without that smile ever leaving her face. Peter was mesmerized.
She was as tiny as an ant from his vantage point but he could tell she was looking at him. That her smile was meant for him and him alone. He could see the sparkle in her eye when she looked at him. That was the moment when he knew that Nicole Hudson would be his... no matter what.
Another amazing show was over. Nicole took a breath as she towel dried her hair. She was exhausted and was beyond thankful for the few days off. Making sure all of her belongings were in her case, she took off wheeling it toward the bus out back.
“Nixen!” hollered Keith, “Wait up!”
“Hurry Harkin! I ain't got all day!” She hollered back with a smile.
He grinned and ran at her, stopping mere inches from her case. “So help me God boy! If you ran into that and hurt anything in there...”
She was cut off by his laughter. “And what do you find so funny, Harkin?” she asked sternly with her hand on her hip.
He looked at her, ruffled her hair, and took off for the stage door and into the throes of the throngs of screaming fans, and safety.
“I will get ya, you... you...” she was at a loss for words.
Peter waited patiently for his love to appear. There were so many screaming people mobbing the rest of the group that he was getting no where near the busses. Peter would just have to watch her from afar. The stage door got his attention as it opened and the drummer walked out. He had just a split second to make his decision as the door started swinging shut. Peter dashed for it to enter the building before it closed. He just made it and found a dark corner to catch his breath.
He knew he couldn't get caught. He knew the chance that he was taking but he just had to see her up close. Peter slinked his way through the backstage area. He was lucky that everyone was too busy to pay him any attention.
Turning a corner Peter saw a sign that said “woman's dressing room” and he knew this was where she changed . He peeked in and saw that all of the belongings were unattended. Looking around carefully he entered and slowly began sifting through the items. He came upon a small case that had masking tape across the top of it that had “N. Hudson” written on it.
He picked up the case and opened it, looking through all of the little trinkets that his love cherished so. There was a lapel pin than looked to be antique and photographs of her and her friends back home and some of her and the crew while on tour. Looking around, Peter collected the contents of the box and left, the box in hand. He quickly made it out of the building without being noticed and to his car before he opened it again and began a more meticulous look through them all.
“Oh no!” Nicole shouted.
Everyone on the bus turned to look at her. “What's wrong Nic?” asked Declan.
“One of my little cases is missing. The one with my gran's broach!” she responded, almost in tears.
“We'll find it. I promise.” he said putting his hand on her shoulder.
“Let me go look in the dressing room.” Laura offered.
“I'll check the quick change room.” Dave said.
“I'll go with you and we'll trace your steps, ok?” Declan said, giving the woman's shoulders a little squeeze.
“Thanks.” she mumbled.
Peter watched as his love got off of her bus with that tall guy that played the drums. And he had his arm around her! Peter was instantly furious. He got out of his car and quickly made his way to her. He had to save her from that cad. Instead, he ended up overhearing their conversation.
“Thanks for all your help Dec.” Nicole said sniffling.
“Hey Nic! It's no problem! That's what friends do!” He said, hugging her.
“I've just got to find that broach! My gran gave it to me before the first tour and I've worn it ever show since.” she started crying again.
“We'll find it Nic. No worries.” Declan said confidently.
Peter felt horrible. He knew exactly what broach she was talking about. He took off on a sprint to his car and grabbed the pin from the box. He couldn't bare to part with the entire thing but he'd return her beloved broach to her. He'd hate to cause any anguish to the woman that was going to be his wife.
“Excuse me!” Nicole and Declan turned at the sound of a man's voice behind them.
“Can we help you?” Declan asked.
It took all of the self control Peter had not to hit the man and take off with his lady. “Miss, Nicole, I think this is your's.” he finally said, holding out the broach.
“Oh! Where did you find it?” Nicole asked, tearily taking the beloved pin from the man's palm.
“I... uh.. I found it... um.. in the front row right by the stage. You.. uh.. you musta lost it when you were dancing.” Peter finally managed to get out.
“Oh Thank you!” Nicole smiled and hugged Peter.
