Alarm went off at 11 a.m. just glad I changed the time before I shut my eyes last night. Last night was so crazy. Had an amazing time at IAC last night. I think I made a good impression with the regulars who took part in the ceili dance. I love Irish dance its the greatest thing since sliced bread. I just gotta remember Monday night is set dancing. Lisa had a great time as well which is good.
I'm out of bed heading toward the bathroom to shower and get ready for the day that is ahead of me. Five minutes later and I'm getting ready for my extra session with Ms. Anne. This will be my fourth practice session and not sure how many more I will have I just hope I won't have one on the 23rd of February.
I make myself an egg sandwich on bagel, I follow it with a bottle of water. I've been drinking water more lately instead of coffee and I'm not feeling so tired which is great. I have a feeling that lack of sleep will be least of my worries. I just can't wait for the 23rd. I have all the auction items sitting in the corner of my living room. I will bring them with me to the auction site the day of the auction.
The fourth session goes great better than the last three. I guess all the extra dancing is really paying off. I actually get to work on a new routine for the competition which is great cause we are finally talking about the trip. Ms. Anne asks if I've checked on the price of tickets to Ireland. I say, "Of course I have and I even found the cost of a ticket on the train from Dublin to Galway." She's pleased with my response I can tell and asks for me to give her a written account of the tickets with the prices so that she will know exactly how much money I'll need to purchase the tickets.
Day is over with now I can finally head home to relax until dinner. I'm just glad I've got no plans for tonight I really wanna catch up on everything. I still don't know when I'm gonna call those restaurants and pubs for my next auction I'm kinda putting it off until the middle of February.
I get home around 4 p.m. and to my surprise no one is home only Ming, who is waiting for someone to let him out. I guess they forget to let him out to use the bathroom before they left. The note on the counter says gone shopping be back later don't worry about dinner we'll bring pizza back. Saturdays are starting to become their regular shopping days. I wonder if they are going to Meijer or is it Target?
Ming comes in house takes a drink of water and then proceeds to his bed where he decides to stay. I head upstairs to take a nap just a small one because the workout on Saturday afternoon takes a lot out of me. I need to recharge my batteries before I do anything else. I can tell someone has been in my apartment but then I notice the package slips on my desk from the post office. Looks like I sold a couple pairs of earrings and even a bracelet. Great I love it when my handmade stuff sells.
I set my alarm to wake me at 6:30 p.m. I don't wanna sleep any longer than that. It seemed like I had just closed my eyes when the smell of pizza made its way through the vents. I was kinda hungry since I didn't really have any lunch. They must have got Domino's. I decided to go downstairs to grab a couple slices and a glass of pop.
I was right they did go to Target. Oh well I just hope they got some soap cause my supply was getting low. I had a salad waiting for me upstairs so I just grabbed the pizza and pop. I saw that mom had got my favorite soap so I took a couple bars with me back upstairs. I had a plate full of pepperoni pizza and a glass of Pepsi along with a bag of my favorite soap.
After I was finished with dinner I went right to bed. No extra anything tonight I was too tired to do much of anything. The dishes could wait until the morning. I'll keep my current alarm setting because their was no need to get up early on a Sunday. I still needed to catch up on sleep. I just hope one day that will be behind me.
After I changed into my night clothes I climbed into bed for a long winter's nap. It was still winter in Michigan even after Groundhog's day. I just can't wait for warmer weather. At least it is warm under the covers. Tomorrow will be a lazy day. I loved lazy days.
- enough for tonight. i'm tired even if i did have a nap earlier.

Colleen! It seems Saturday has now become the official Pizza day instead of Sunday! Glad you are catching up on your sleep! NOW REMEMBER SET DANCING IS ON MONDAY'S! Also happy that all that extra dance practice is starting to pay-off!

My alarm goes off at 10 a.m. and I am up and ready to face the day. I head straight for the bathroom to shower and 10 minutes later I'm ready to start my day. Sundays are usually my lazy day but not today I have stuff that needs to get done. Before I do anything productive I need to put a little fuel in the tank so I make myself an egg sandwich and follow it with a bottle of water. I definitely need all the brain food I can get if I'm gonna make this a productive day.
I still have no plans to start working on my next auction instead I need to work on making some extra money for me to spend while I'm in Ireland. I head over to my computer to turn it on. I've not been on it in a couple of days so it needs a little time to warm up. Once its up and running I log into my store on etsy.com. The only major holiday that's coming up within a little over a month is St. Patrick's Day. I need to check to see if there is any green jewelry on my site. I look and there is nothing but there has been a bit more traffic in the past couple days which is a good sign that people have money to spend.
I swear that I had put a couple pairs of green Irish inspired earrings for sale in my store but they aren't there. I decide to check my physical storage which is located in a drawer in an organizer I bought to hold all my jewelry making supplies. The two sets of earrings are exactly where I thought they were. I then arrange them on a glass taking a couple photos of each pair.
Meanwhile I put the finishing touches on a few pairs I was working on while I was eating my breakfast. I said this was going to be a productive day. I take pictures of them as well so I can post them in my store. I download the photos from my camera to my computer. Once they have been downloaded I edit and save each photo giving it a unique name so its easy for me to reference when a pair is sold. I place the two pairs of green earring plus the 3 that I created while eating breakfast in my store called Gems and Stitches.
The store is called Gems and Stitches because I not only sell jewelry but also hand-knitted items as well. I haven't made any knitted items lately so most of the hand work is courtesy of my mom. I always give her the money when I sell something of hers. Its not fair to keep money that isn't mine. I just hope the Irish inspired earrings will bring more traffic to my shop.
I take a break from the site to work on an idea I have for a pin or a broach. I have some Sculpey III oven bake clay in my jewelry box. I have a bunch of colors that would be perfect for an Irish pin. I work out a rough sketch of what I want to get an idea of what I need to do. I decide to make a four leaf clover with a bit of a twist. Instead of rolling out the clay I decide to do a freehand sculpture of a clover mixing in a bit of light green and yellow as a contrast to the leaf green clay.
Once I have the sculpture done I decide to add the backing to the item before I bake it. I could have chose to hot glue the backing to the product after it finishes baking but decided against it when a previous pair of earrings I had made looked tacky when I glued on the backs. I properly secured the pin into the back of the clover then I popped the piece on to a baking sheet which I placed in a 275 degree oven to make for about 15 minutes.
When the oven time went off I took my piece out to make sure it had survived the baking process which it appeared to have done with flying colors. I let it cool before inspecting the back of the pin. This was the first time I'd put the backing on before baking so I wasn't sure if it would hold up or not but it did. The pin appeared to be very secure which is what I was looking for. I then painted on a clear glaze to give the piece a little more added luster. Instead of taking a standard photo of the pin on just a blank canvas I decided it might look better if it was on something like a coat. I put the pin on my wool coat which I interned put on.
I set my camera up on the tripod so as to take pictures of me in my winter coat wearing the clover pin. I've never really appeared in any of my other pictures although I do own some of the jewelry that I had for sale in my store. After the photo shoot I take the pictures off the camera, editing and saving them. I post them on the website with a unique caption that pertains to St. Patrick's Day as well as the clover.
I notice a post from someone who visited my shop looking for a particular color of earrings they needed to accentuate a dress they were going to wear to a wedding the coming spring. I had the colors they were looking for so I decided to design a pair of earrings using the colors the person was looking for. After I had them finished I then proceeded to post them in my store hoping the person that made the request would buy the earrings I just made.
I said this was going to be a productive day but I had no idea I would be so busy I'd even forgotten to eat lunch. Oh well I wasn't even hungry. I was about to forget dinner when the intercom buzzed. I went over the wall to see what someone wanted. My mom wanted to know what I wanted for dinner. She was going to make sloppy joes and french fries which sounded great to me because I didn't feel like cooking at all. She said she'd call me when dinner was ready. I grabbed a bottle of water out of the fridge before heading back to my computer.
Less than an hour later dinner was done and so was my work load. I put all my supplies away before heading back down stairs to eat dinner with my family. It seems like I've not had dinner with them in quite a while because I've been doing a lot of running about. I also decided to go to bed early tonight instead of staying up late to play a little on my Facebook.
After dinner I headed upstairs to my apartment and my bedroom. I was truly exhausted from all the excess brain power I had exerted today. I got into my night clothes and then slipped into bed I had to work tomorrow so it was a good thing I was going to bed early at least I hoped to have another good night of sleep. Sleep was a precious commodity that I should relish more than I waste. I made sure to change my alarm so it went off at 8 a.m instead of 10 a.m. It was long before I was fast asleep.
Good night everyone...
- done with this update I think its better than the first one I was writing, my brother decided to close my page so I had to rewrite it which I really hate doing but I think this is a much better update than the one I was originally working on.

Today is February 4th and its 8 a.m. My alarm went off and I'm up and running. It is a typical Monday for me, lots of stuff to do before I need to leave for work. Work is 11:30 a.m. but for me I need to leave my house by 10 a.m. since I usually get stuck in awful traffic heading south on I-75. I decide to try working on my dancing steps at home without the use of my hard shoes instead I'm wearing my slippers which are easy to dance in. I wish I had tried this earlier but at least I'm trying it now.
I practice just a little because I need to get ready for work and eat breakfast. I need to make my lunch as well. I don't do well eating fast food for lunch it just doesn't work for me. I try eating healthy even if it isn't always possible. I get breakfast and my lunch done in just the nick of time. I leave home at exactly 10 a.m. Before I know it I'm stuck in a minor traffic jam that I really hope doesn't last too long. Usually traffic is congested around the Troy exits but after that its smooth sailing. I pray I get through the jam soon. I'm getting impatient when I have to wait in traffic.
I get to work with 10 minutes to spare. It's a typical work day which is always great for me. I get the ticket door set up and I start on my weekly cleaning duties. I clean as much as I can because the front doors are usually open 15 minutes prior to first show time. Mondays are always good because Lisa works. She's my rock at work, if she wasn't there I'd definitely go out of my mind.
I see some regulars today, it always makes my day when I see regulars cause they love to chat especially when I'm not on the door. I will spend most of the day on the door except when I have to do my restroom checks. I don't mind door duty its not bad because the beginning of the week is usually slow.
Before I know it all the clocks say its 6 which means I just have to wait for my replacement to come take over at the ticket door. Once my replacement shows up I go clock out and head for the bathroom to change clothes. I don't mind wearing my work clothes to work but I'd rather have on my normal clothes on my way home. Traffic isn't so bad on my way home but there are always pockets of traffic jams.
Dinner is sloppy joes which is my favorite comfort food. I made sweet potato fries as a side dish along with a nice salad with croutons and bacon bits. I take my food into the living room to watch a movie that we ordered from Blockbuster online. Tonight's movie was The Queen, excellent that I highly recommend it to anyone.
After the movie was over I headed to bed because I was gonna be up early tomorrow to do a little more practicing before work. After this morning practice I thought I'd give dancing in my slippers a regular thing until I had the opportunity to dance in my practice shoes. Wednesday was fast approaching and I definitely wanted to get some extra time in before class that night.
Didn't take long for me to pass out. Its a good thing I remembered to turn on my alarm before falling asleep otherwise I might miss work and I didn't want that to happen ever again once was more than enough.
Alarm goes off at 8, I'm up and ready to hit the ground running or at least dancing. I just hope my dancing doesn't wake anyone up on the floor below me. After practice I head straight to the shower then get dressed for work. Breakfast is my usual standard egg sandwich on a bagel. Lunch is chicken salad on multi-grain. Out the door at 10 a.m. on the dot. Traffic is light for a change which is awesome that means I won't be cutting it close.
Today I have 15 minutes before I have to clock it. The earlier the better I say. Lisa is working as usual which is good for me. Today is another slow day. I perform all my usual duties and work on what I need to clean for today. By the time the manger opens the doors I'm bright eyed and bushy tailed. I'm ready to go cause I want this day over because tomorrow is going to be one very active day.
My friend Keith is working with me today which is great but he still doesn't know my secret life like Lisa does. I've had to keep him out of the loop for quite sometime but I'm sure he'll find out one day my secret. We talk about movies coming out this coming weekend. We are both films buffs. Movies are our passion its what drives us.
Today I get to see my favorite regulars which is the bright spot of my day. I love talking to people about movies, its my passion at least for now. I guess you could say I lead a double life just like any good secret agent would. I get to chat with Lisa when the flow of patrons slows down. She asks how my dancing is coming. She hasn't had an opportunity to see me perform I know I should have invited her to the end of the year recital in 2007 but I still was trying to keep it under wraps.
Well before I know it 6 p.m. is here again and this time I don't have to wait so long for my replacement cause she's actually early which is great. I go to the back, grab my stuff, clock out and head to the restroom to change into my everyday clothes. Traffic isn't bad going home which is great. Today has definitely been a great day all around I just hope it stays that way.
I make it home around 7 which isn't bad timing when I have to drive the expressway. Tonight's dinner menu is chili which is another favorite of mine. I smell it as I walk through the back door. I usually use the side door that way I have an easier time getting to my apartment. Today I decide to go in through the back and I'm glad cause I sure do love chili. I take my stuff upstairs but come back down in 1/2 hour to get me a bowl and to watch another movie. Tonight's film is Night at The Museum another movie I loved when I first saw it at the theater.
After the movie is over I upstairs to go to bed because tomorrow is gonna be a busy day. I can feel it in my bones. The past two nights I've not been online which is so unlike me. I will check out everything tomorrow morning. I decide to keep my alarm on the same setting. I figure why mess with a good routine besides I can get a little more slipper practice before I decide to head to school to do some actual practice.
I start the day off with two eggs and toast and a bottle of water. I decide to check my email accounts first before heading over to Facebook. Nothing of great importance was in any of my email accounts so now I logged into Facebook to check on my cafe and farm. I knew they would both be in utter disrepair because I'd been so busy the past couple weeks I'd forgotten to look in on them.
There was a tots Irish dance class at noon which gave me the opportunity to get some actual practice in since I would be working again this coming Friday morning. I grabbed my dance stuff and I was out the door or at least my door at 11:40 a.m. Before I left I told my mom where I'd be so she wouldn't worry. I said I'd probably be there until 2. I'd be home to have dinner before heading off to class around 5 p.m.
I get to the school around 12:30 which is great traffic heading north to Rochester Hills generally isn't busy at that time of the day. I see Genie as I enter and ask if its all right to use the empty studio I used last week. Once I get the all clear I head to dressing room to change. Inside the studio I set up my laptop so I can see the dances I need to be practicing. I go through each of the four previous sessions to make sure I'm not missing a step. I've watched the practices so many times I can see the steps in my head. So now I decide to bring up the Windows Media Player dragging my playlist to the list pane.
Again it seems that I've lost track of time because when I finally stop to take a breather I find that I have a small audience of students from the tot class. I'm like a celebrity now only I don't realize it but to them I'm a role model someone they want to aspire to be. I just wish I was like them when I was there age instead I was just doing normal kid things. Again they ask me questions about my upcoming trip. They wanna know if I'll get to see any sites while I'm there if so they would like me to take lots and lots of pictures.
As they leave one little girl comes up to me and gives me a big hug. She says you must be really special to get to go to Ireland. I tell her I'm just lucky but it takes a lot of work to be good enough to enter a competition like this. She says all my hard work will pay off she can tell by the way I dance. She's definitely perceptive for her age. I tell her that one day she may have the same chance I'm getting all she needs to do is practice.
I get a little chocked up when she leaves. I take a few drinks of water before I pack up my things and head home. I wonder how a kid her age is so wise. I don't remember ever thinking about things on such a deep level of thought. I get home a little 3 p.m which gives me enough time to shower and take a nap before I have to go back to school for my Wednesday night class.
I only sleep an hour because I need to make sure I eat something for dinner before I head to class. I decide to heat up the leftover chili from the other night. I even heat up a piece of cornbread to go with the chili. No one else is home except Ming but then again he rarely goes out unless someone lets him out. I make sure he goes out before I head out the door to class.
I finally leave the house a little after 5 p.m. which is good I shouldn't run into much traffic on my way to class tonight. I get there around 5:30. I warm up and get right into the steps I was working on earlier. This time instead of watching the DVDs of previous practice sessions I just decide to listen to the music I've chosen. I go through each step until I know it by heart. Class begins promptly at 6 which is my cue to take a small break since I've already warmed up.
Tonight's class is a culmination of all the practice sessions I've had. I know them all by heart which is great because Ms. Anne can definitely see the improvement in my steps. When class is over she tells me what Ms. Genie has told her about the tot class watching me practice on Wednesday afternoon. I say its cute that they wanna watch me rehearse for my big day in Ireland. After I change I head home without making any out of the way detours. I'm really tired and just want to let my head hit the pillow. I'm off tomorrow which is great so I decide to change my alarm setting. This time I decide I don't wanna get up until 10 a.m. because I need all the sleep I can get.
- ok hope that is a good enough update. im really tired and need to sleep.

I had Thursday off which was great. I'd call the school later to see if there was an open studio I could use to practice in. I decided not to dance in my slippers today. I just wanted to relax as much as possible today. I called the school around noon to see if I might be able to use a vacant studio. After two rings someone finally answered the phone. It was Ms. Lynn who taught an intermediate class at 4 p.m. but said if I wanted to use a studio she'd be there until 5 p.m. I told her I'd probably come around 3 which would give me enough time to do some things around my apartment first. I needed to do a little housecleaning first before I went anywhere.
I arrived at the school a little after 3 p.m. which was my goal. I let Ms. Lynn know I was going to use the smaller studio which was the one I've always used. I quickly changed into my dance clothes and then proceeded into the studio. I set up my laptop on the piano that sat in the studio. I then found the file of the first practice to watch. After I watched it I then went through the entire routine. I then played the music used in the background of the video to dance to. I played the video again this time imagining what the dance should look like in my head. I put a scarf across my eyes and with only the audio I was able to perform the dance perfectly. I could see the steps in my head which I then transferred to my feet.
I stopped around 4:30 which gave me enough time to change and get my stuff packed up so I could head home. I was just hoping I'd not get stuck in rush hour traffic which was something I hated especially when I wasn't working. I could tell by my actions that I had improved greatly which meant the world to me. Now I knew that I was prepared to face any challenge put in front of me.
I got home a little after 5 which was great not a lot of traffic just yet which is always a blessing. I needed to wash my uniform for work along with the clothes that had been piling up in the laundry basket in my bathroom. I put all the clothes in the dumb waiter and then followed them down to the basement. It wouldn't take as long to wash them as it had in previous weeks. There was only a total of 3 loads to wash. I put whites in first since there was more of them. I followed the whites with the colored and then the towels. I'm glad it didn't take long to do clothes. I had everything done by 8 p.m.
I made burgers and french fries for dinner. I took my food upstairs to eat because I needed to put my clean laundry away. Well at least my day wasn't a total wash. I did manage to get in an hour and half actual practice plus I did wash all my dirty clothes besides making dinner. I'd say today was a very good day. Tomorrow would be busy since it was the day when new movies opened. I would probably see Celia tomorrow since Friday was the day when she usually came to the theater. I decided to fix my famous chicken salad before going to bed. I didn't feel like going online tonight so after I finished making lunch I headed to bed. I made sure to change my alarm to go off at 6 a.m.
Friday morning my alarm goes off at 6 a.m. on the dot. I jump out of bed and head straight to the shower. I shower and am ready for work within 10 minutes. I then proceeded to the kitchen to make myself and egg sandwich and a cup of coffee. After eating breakfast I made my lunch and grabbed an empty bottle. I then grabbed my coat, my lunch, my purse,my tote bag with my change of clothes and headed out the door to work. My goal was to get to work as early as possible. I wanted more than 5 minutes to relax before I clocked in.
Today was definitely a good day not only did I see Celia before she went in to her theater but I was able to chat with her before she left. She was an older patron who like me loved going to the movies. She was originally from Panama but now lived in Michigan. She was very nice to me as well as my friend Kevin who worked in the box office. The day went by so fast after my break. I really looked forward to my lunch break because it was the only time I could check out a movie I might want to see.
When I came back to the floor after my break it seemed like the time just flew by. Before I knew it it was already 5 p.m. which was great and I didn't have to wait for someone to take my place at door since I usually wasn't on door at the end of my shift. I clocked out five minutes after 5. I headed straight to the bathroom to change into my driving clothes. I was headed for the expressway at 5:15.
Traffic was slow this evening which meant it would take probably an hour to get home. Mom had dinner waiting for me when I got home. I loved coming home to find dinner already made. Sloppy Joes again which was fine with me since it was my favorite comfort food. I made myself a couple sandwiches and a nice healthy service of cole slaw to my plate. I sat down at the kitchen table and ate dinner. I can't remember the last time I'd did this I'm pretty sure I did it last week sometime I just couldn't remember.
After I finished eating I took my things and headed upstairs to my apartment. I needed to check on my store and check my emails. I'd basically avoided the internet this week. I did everything but get online which was so unlike me. I checked facebook as well since I hadn't been on there in a few weeks. I'm pretty sure my cafe was in need of cleaning along with my farm. It was midnight when I finally shut the computer down. I cleaned up the kitchen a bit before I headed to bed.
I made sure to change my alarm because I definitely didn't want to wake up at 6 a.m. on a Saturday morning. I set it for 10:30 a.m. but with any luck I'd probably be up around 9 instead. I changed into my night clothes and climbed into bed. Before I knew it I was out like a light.

- sorry about the long wait between updates. I'm currently involved in Studying in Ireland but I wanted to bring this one up to date.
Everything went according to my plan. I made enough money from both auctions to fund my trip to Ireland. I got my passport a month before I was to leave for Dublin. I had to be in Galway on the June 1st so that meant I would be leaving for New York on May 31. I would then take the train from Dublin to Galway. I had my room assignment the week before I left Michigan. I flew from Detroit to JFK then from JFK to Dublin. I arrived in Dublin at 5:10 am and caught the first train to Galway. Everyone who competing in the World Irish Dance Championship would be staying in the dorms at National University Ireland in Galway.
I would be sharing a room with two girls from Ireland. I was entered in the single dancer division. My one roommate was named Siobhan, she was from Bray which was in County Wicklow, her friend Diana who also lived in Bray was my other roommate.
The competition started on Monday afternoon and ended Friday afternoon. I was competing against Siobhan and Diana. I was the only American in the 18 and over category. I placed 5th but that was apparently impressive for an American. Siobhan placed 2nd and Diana place 3rd. Siobhan told me that her sister Angela had placed 1st every year she competed so she was a legend at the competition.
Thursday evening Siobhan asked what I was doing this weekend. I was going to stay at a hostel in Dublin because I really didn't have any plans. She then asked if I wanted to come stay with her and her family until I had to go home. I said, "sure why not." "Great, I'll go call my mom to let her know," she said.
Friday after they read the list the three of us packed our things to head to Bray. "Hey my sister just called to tell me about this show at a pub just outside of Bray. She said the guy is really good and that we should try to catch the show," she said. "Sounds like a good idea," I say. "I agree," said Diana.
After we'd finished packing we loaded our bags into Diana's car. We headed to the pub to hear this guy sing. None of us knew anything about this singer all we knew was that he was really talented. It wasn't long before we were entering the pub, I saw a flyer that said Neil Byrne would be performing tonight. I had no idea who he was.
"That's Angela, over there in the corner," said Siobhan. She waves to her older sister, Angela waves back. She seems to be occupied with her friends to pay us any attention. "Have you ever heard of Neil Byrne, before," I asked. "Not me," said Diana.
About 7 a guy walks by our table, he's carrying a guitar. That must be Neil, I thought. He tunes up his instrument and then the show starts. He plays a variety of music, a lot of the music I like which is weird considering he's an Irish musician. I thought he might sing pub songs instead he's doing popular music which is awesome. He's really cute and very talented. I smile at him and he smiles back. I even think he winked at me which is odd.
After the show he goes around to a couple tables most the ones with lots of females. The drummer that's with him head over to Angela's table. "My sister has a thing for the drummer," she tells me. "I can tell," I say. Neil slides into an empty booth and orders some food. Siobhan heads over to talk to her sister while Diana and I finish our food. "My sister wanted me to tell you that if you fancy Neil, now would be a good time. He asked my sister who you were and since she didn't know all she said was that you were a friend of mine," says Siobhan.
I head over to Neil's table, I'm a little nervous because I'm not really good at talking to guys especially if I might fancy the guy. "Hi" I say. Yeah I know I should have said more but really it was all I could think of on the spur of moment. "Hello, I was asking your friends about you but they couldn't help me out," he said. "Yeah I'm pretty sure they don't know who I am since I've not yet met them myself. I know the one girl's sister," I say and wave to Siobhan. "Ah, so that's why then. Your not from around here err ya," he said. "Nope not from around here," I say. "So where are you from," he said. "Michigan," I said. "What on earth aer ya doing here," he asked. "You see I participating in the World Irish Dance Championships that were held in Galway," I say.
"Irish dancer, huh," Neil said. "Yeah that's me, came in 5th in my division, not bad for an American," I say. "Don't sound bad to me," he said. It was getting late and we still had a bit of a drive before we got Siobhan's house. We chat for a little while longer, actually until Siobhan comes over to the table to let me know its time to go. He says, "how long will you be in Ireland." "Until next Sunday," I say. "Well maybe we could meet again before you have to leave," he says. "OK," I say then Siobhan pulls me away before I can get his number. So close but no cigar.
"I didn't even tell him my name," I say as I get in the car. "He said he wanted to meet you again, this is a small town chances are you probably will if he lives around here," said Siobhan. Diana drops us off at Siobhan's house which is cute cottage with a white picket fence.
"Mom we home," yells Siobhan. "I'm in the kitchen dear," she says. "Mum this is Colleen, Colleen this is my mum, Kathleen," Siobhan says. "It's nice to meet you Colleen, my daughter said you did well at the competition," Mrs. Flynn. "Thank you for letting me stay here," I say. "Your welcome," she said. "Where's dad?" Siobhan says. "He's already gone to bed," he mom said. "Good night mom, see you in the morning," Siobhan says.
We head from the kitchen to her bedroom with our bags in tow. "Your mom doesn't sound Irish, where is she from originally?" I ask. "Mom's originally from Texas, she met my dad when she did a year abroad in Dublin," she said. Her room is nice it looks as if she and her sister share a room. "Don't worry my sister doesn't live with us anymore, she has a flat in town that she shares with a bunch of her friends," said Siobhan. I get my laptop out so that I can connect to the next. She gives me the number to the WiFi so I can check out Mr. Byrne to see what I can find out about him online.
- more tomorrow I'm going to bed

I know that silly, I stopped before I found out about him because I was getting tired. But I thought I needed to update it and bring it to Ireland as well.
