I'm trying to write updates for both ~DOL~ and USF so here is the start of a story so I won't have things thrown at me. I also have another story I was thinking about posting so be on the lookout!
The chapters are going to be from both Bree's and Ryan's points of view. Most of it will be the same, at least for the first chapter. Their thoughts however, shall be theirs.
Somewhere in California..... in the fall..... before Halloween aka All Hallows Eve (My favorite holiday!! )
Bree
"Hey! Watch it!" was all I heard as I fell. Somebody helped me up. "Are ye alright?" He said with a thick Irish accent. "I-I'm fine, thank you." I said, looking into the most beautiful blue-gray eyes I had ever seen.
He is hot!!!
"Who knocked ye down?" He asked.
"One of the popular kids from me collage." I said.
"Why would they knock ye down?" He asked.
"Nobody likes me because I'm the 'teacher's pet'. I'm top in all me classes and doing theater, writing club, soccer, water-polo,track and training for both a singing competition and a dancing competition." I said regretfully. "Name's Ryan Kelly by the way." He said.
Haven't I heard that name before?
"I'm Bridget O'Neill, it's nice to meet ye." I said smiling, for the first time in ages.
"It's a pleasure to meet ye, Ms. O'Neill." He smiled.
Oh, a gentleman?
"Oh, no Mr. Kelly, the pleasure is all mine!" I said, and started laughing.
"Please, call me Ryan." He said laughing as well.
"Only if ye call me Bridget or as me old friends used to call me, Bree." I said and smiled.
"Okay, Ms. Bree." Ryan joked.
A jokester!
"Fine, if that's how ye want to play, MR. Ryan." I joked back.
"So you're a singer and a dancer?" Ryan asked.
"Yep." I said walking forward.
"What styles of singing and dancing do ye do?" He asked.
Why does he want to know?
"Anything. I love Irish folk music and riverdance though."
And country, and rock music and......
"Where are ye going?" He asked.
Another question?! Hmmm.... A hot Irish stalker? No, he wouldn't let me know he was here if he was stalking me.... or tell me his name.....
"To one of me favorite spots in town."
"Where is it?" Hmmmm.... a bit suspicious methinks.....
"Across town, by the theater."
"Would ye like to meet some of me friends?" He asked.
"Okay......" I replied uncertainly. Not exactly the best decision, but I think it will be alright....
"Bree, we're all singers." Ryan said smiling. Should I believe him? He looks a bit mysterious...... but hot!
"Sure, then. " I said. Maybe they'll give me some tips....
"Will ye please sing for us? When ye meet me friends, I mean." Ryan asked.
Really? He wants me to sing?
"Ry, may I please call ye Ry?..." I started. He nodded his head.
Why do I want to call him Ry?!
"Ry, if ye think it wouldn't be a bother, I'll sing." I smiled.
Did I really just say that!? Ugg. He's messing with my mind!!
Ryan
"Hey! Watch it!" I heard somebody say, knocking over a lass. I helped her up and asked "Are you alright?"
"I-I'm fine, thank you." She said, looking in me eyes. She has the most beautiful bright green eyes I've ever seen! Her hair is like Keith's, but longer. She's tall, has a dancer's grace and an accent that is maybe British or Irish.
"Who knocked ye down?" I asked. "One of the popular kids from me collage."She said. "Why would they knock ye down?" I asked.
I wish I could get the kid that did this to the poor lass!
"Nobody likes me because I'm the 'teacher's pet'. I'm top in all me classes and doing theater, writing club, soccer, waterpolo, track and training for both a singing competition and a dancing competition." She said sounding regretful. Poor lass! How could anyone not like her!? She is simply very talented!
"Name's Ryan Kelly by the way." I said. "I'm Bridget O'Neill, it's nice to meet ye." She said smiling.
"It's a pleasure to meet ye, Ms. O'Neill." I smiled.
Nice Irish name. Very beautiful lass.
"Oh, no Mr. Kelly, the pleasure is all mine!" She said, and started laughing.
"Please, call me Ryan." I said laughing as well.
"Only if you call me Bridget or as me old friends used to call me, Bree." She said and smiled.
"Okay, Ms. Bree." I joked.
"Fine, if that's how ye want to play, MR. Ryan." She joked back.
Ah, a lass after me own heart; a jokester!
"So you're a singer and a dancer?" I asked. "Yep." She said walking forward.
Hmmm.... If I can see her sing an' dance, maybe, just maybe, I can get Sharon to hire her......
"What styles of singing and dancing do ye do?" I asked.
I hope she doesn't think I'm weird......
"Anything. I love Irish folk music and riverdance though." She said.
She could work with Zara......
"Where are ye going?" I asked.
Please, don't think I'm weird!
"To one of me favorite spots in town." Was her reply.
I wonder where it is.....
"Where is it?" I asked.
I really hope she doesn't think I'm going to hurt her!
"Across town, by the theater."
Nice! I was heading over for rehearsals anyway.
"Would ye like to meet some of me friends?" I asked.
Gosh, that sounded weird!
"Okay......" She replied uncertainly.
I hope I'm not scaring her with me questions!
"Sure, then." She said.
YES!! Such a beautiful lass!! Note to self: When she meets Keith and Paul, stay with her at all times.....
"Will ye please sing for us? When ye meet me friends, I mean." I asked.
Okay, that was so weird!
"Ry, may I please call ye Ry?..." She started. I nodded me head.
"Ry, if ye think it wouldn't be a bother, I'll sing." She smiled.
A Bother!? Her!? Is She Kidding!?
Bree
"Of course ye won't be a bother!" Ryan said. Why is he saying that? Is it true?
"Really? Are ye sure?" I asked.
"Positively." Ryan said, smiling. Why is it that even though I only met him about fifteen minutes ago, I really like him? True, he is very hot......
"Alright then. Shall we go, kind sir?" I said, grinning. Okay, I'm acting very weird! Whenever Ryan smiles, my heart speeds up. Oi!
"Lead the way, madame." Ryan replied, smiling with both his lips and his eyes. Since when do I notice lads!? AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
"This way sir." I said smiling and speaking in my best Irish accent. It's pretty easy as I'm Irish.
"Ye really sound like you're Irish!" Ryan exclaimed. Ugg! I am!
"I am. Hence the Irish name. I've never been to Ireland though." I said. We got to the theater sooner than I expected, probably because we had been talking.
"Ah. Here, me friends are here already." Ryan said.
"This is George Donaldson, Paul Byrom, Emmet Cahill, Damian McGinty, Neil Byrne and Keith Harkin." Ryan said, introducing his friends.
They're Celtic Thunder!!! That's where I've heard Ryan's name before!!!
"Hi, I'm Bridget O'Neill. Nice to meet ye." I said, smiling.
"It's nice to meet ye too, Bridget!" They chorused. Hmmmm.....Reflex maybe?
"Bree, can ye please sing for us now?" Ryan asked. He sounds excited.
"Okay, Ry, but before I sing an actual song, I want to see how THIS goes. "Witches Brew", written by Scott Urguhart, performed by Casper." I said, grinning a bit evilly.
"Never heard of it." They said.
"Here ye go then." I replied.
This is going to be so fun!!!!!
"Under a cloak of black and a pointed witch's hat
I saw a face that made a chill run down my spine
When she looked me in the eye, she must have hypnotized me
'Cause the next thing I remember I was there, standing in her lair
Watching as she stirred
And then she looked at me, and she said these words
Eye of newt and wing of bat
And a long black whisker from a big black cat
Spider legs and wolfhound fur, bring it to a boil and begin to stir
Add poison ivy with a hemlock root
And a thread from the collar of a vampire suit
Guaranteed with your money back, too
But be careful when you mess with witch's brew"(A/N: This is from the end of Halloweentown II Kalabar's Revenge. )
Ryan
"Wow." The lads and I all breathed.
No need to tell Bree that that song she picked is how I feel right now......I have been hypnotized by her! And by the looks of it, so have Paul and Keith.
"Here's one ye may have actually heard of." Bree said. "The Ballad Of The Green Beret by SSGT. Barry Saddler. (A/N: Written and recorded in 1966 after he sustained a leg injury in Vietnam and was sent home. He really was a green beret. )
Fighting soldiers from the sky
Fearless men who jump and die
Men who mean just what they say
The brave men of the green beret
Silver wings upon their chest
These are men, America’s best
One hundred men will test today
But only three win the green beret
Trained to live off nature’s land
Trained in combat, hand-to-hand
Men who fight by night and day
Courage peak from the green berets
Silver wings upon their chest
These are men, America’s best
One hundred men will test today
But only three win the green beret
Back at home a young wife waits
Her green beret has met his fate
He has died for those oppressed
Leaving her his last request
Put silver wings on my son’s chest
Make him one of America’s best
He’ll be a man they’ll test one day
Have him win the green beret."
"Bree, that was- was-was WOW!!! You'll win that competition hands down!!" I said, stuttering. She is absolutely amazing!!"Bree, will ye please try "Jesse James"? Paul asked. I need to watch him an' Keith.......
"Depends on if I'll be doing the dancing, and if so, whom I shall be dancing with." Bree said. Smart girl, it looks like she knows Paul, Keith and I like her, but is trying not to show it......
The lads and I conversed among ourselves, and then I regretfully said "As both 'Hard To Say I'm Sorry' and 'Jesse James' are Keith's, Keith will be dancing with ye."
