Watching by TheDoctorDonna
A ship came sailing on the deep blue sea, the brilliant stars not shining.
The sailor's wife was waiting in the tower, and for her husband pining.
The lighthouse shone on through the darkness and fog, and on the bridge stood watch,
the townsmen and women were hoping for grace, that the Lord would bring them home.
The waves were tossing, and pitching high, the sailors and ship were tossed,
they prayed for mercy and home to see, and the Lord, he brought them home.

Love this poem! I do believe the CT song "Home From The Sea" was your inspiration!
