Wind whips the frothy waters Into a churning, wild creature. From either Slea Head or Giant's Causeway One sees the same shades of Atlantic blue.
Some rainy, bitter days make for more grey, While bright, mild times bring a brilliant blue-green. Donegal's untamed coasts to Clonakilty's quaint, eternal view Of that million shades of blue.
Looking out into forever words it best, Be from either familiar strand or sea cliffs. Sometime foreboding, merciless about the sea, Yet a beautiful, peaceful side co-exists with hidden dangers.
Forever a part of this island, Enclosing us, also protecting against invaders from the seven seas. As much a part of the land's framework As the famous green fields.
It takes a minute to appreciate, A lifetime to forget. Always in my mind will be Those mysterious, wonderful, terrifying, Atlantic waters.

Ah yes I know who you mean. And maybe someday I'll run into a certain lad with eyes as blue as the waters up the Causeway.
