So, this is yet another story peri38 and I wrote. ;D We both hope you like it!!!
Once upon a time, in a little village in Ireland, there lived a small boy by the name of Ryan. Ryan was a good kid, most of the time, except for when he met a gal. A girl who was truly lovely, and knew he had to do something to woo her.
So, one day, he decided to get her the big giant box of candy in the window that stood in the window of the drugstore. Every day he would walk by the window and stare at the large box, knowing that with that box of candy, his true love would love him, just as he loved her. Unfortunately he had no money. So he decided on a plan.
A plan to steal said box of candy! After all, how's a kind supposed to get a box of candy that large? What did these shop owners think they were, loaded? So, one bright summer’s day, as the girl watched on, Ryan opened the door of the drugstore and slipped quietly in behind a elderly woman...with a rather large behind. The man behind the counter didn't even spot him hidden behind the behind.
He ducked down and crawled to the window, looking both ways, he stood and grabbed the box of candy. The problem was...where was he to hide it? Ryan finally figured a way.
He Shoved it under his jacket, and proceeded to whistle as he walked from the store. The plan was working ingeniously!
Until Ryan heard the woman with the big behind yell, "Stop!!!!" Ryan looked over his shoulder and ran right into the girl he was doing all of this for. In his shock, Ryan dropped the box, which fell to the floor loudly. The girl of his dreams looked at him in shock and disappointment.
"What are you doing Ryan?" Ryan was tongue-tied. But then he felt the hand of an adult grab the scruff of his shirt. "Come along with me, ya little runt. We are going to have to call your parents." Ryan was terrified. He knew he was in huge trouble if his parents knew what he did. So...Ryan formed a plan in his head to get out of this mess.
He pulled himself from the adults grasp and grabbed his only witness's hand. The girl. He took off running, dragging her in tow, and snatching the fallen candy as he did so. He pulled her out the door and They ran down the street as fast as their little legs could run.
Ryan pulled her into a side alley to catch their breath. "Do you think he is going to come and get us?" the little girl asked him.
"Naw...he's to slow to keep up with us...anyways...he's old. So...here you go. I got this for you!"
"For me? But Ryan...I can't eat candy..." the girl responded.
"Drat!" thought Ryan. He didn't know what to do now.
"Well, I'll..." a bright idea hit him. ”I'll get you something else! Something better. But..." he looks back at the candy. "I should probably take this back."
"But you'll get into trouble!"
"Yeah well...it's the right thing, right?" He said.
"Oh Ryan!!!! You are such a nice boy!" the girl said. "I'm sure you'll think of something."
Yeah right...thought Ryan. He and the girl snuck back to the drugstore. Peeking into the window, he waited until the man walked back to the back of the store, then he quietly opened the door and tiptoed his way over to the display window, setting the box of candy where it used to be.
Ryan rang the bell on the counter once. The man turned. "Hey! You little..."
"Sorry!!!" Ryan yelled, and sprinted from the shop and pulled the little girl after him again.
"You're so brave!"
"Yeah..." Ryan bucked his chin up and walked the girl to his house. He got out his little guitar that he got for Christmas last year. And instead of stealing a box of candy....he gave her a song. A song that was for free and from his heart. And the girl fell in love with him.
From there on out They spent every instant together, and Ryan watched as the pretty little girl morphed into a beautiful young lady, and she watched as her childhood friend became a man, who was now, headed out to become an international star for Celtic Thunder.
