[glow=Purple,2,300]Okay guys, first let me apologize for neglecting this story. I have had a huge writer's block that I have just now gotten over! I hope you enjoy this chapter! ................................................................................................................
“Well, that’s it” Sunday murmured as she set the last box down in her brand new apartment…in Dublin. “Last box.”
She felt a pair of arms encircle her waist from behind. “Welcome home, love.” Paul turned her around in his arms and smiled. “I’m so glad to have you here.”
Sunday nodded, returning the smile. “I’m glad to be here too. Though, having you three doors down is such a huge distance. I don’t think I can handle it.” Sunday teased, her smile turning into a smirk.
“Oh however will you live without me, Sunday? I’m not sure you can bear it!”
Sunday raised a brow, removing herself from the Swanky Tenor’s arms. “Oh really, now?” She went over to a box and began unpacking her things.
Paul laughed. “Yes, really.” He took the book she was holding in her hand and set it down on the counter. “Why don’t we get you settled in later? I’m hungry, so I know you must be as well. So why don’t we go over to my apartment, order some Chinese and watch a movie, yeah?”
Sunday pondered his offer for a moment before smiling. “Sounds like a plan.” She agreed. “Just let me get out some sweat pants and change, mkay?”
Paul nodded before kissing Sunday softly. “I’ll just be down at my apartment. Come over when you’re ready, Love.” With those words, Paul left the apartment.
Sunday quickly located the box that held her clothes and found a pair of black sweatpants and a Mayday Parade tee shirt. After changing her clothes , she pulled back her bangs into a clip and put on her glasses.
“Now, that’s better.” She murmured, feeling much more comfortable than she had in her jeans and sweater from earlier.
Just as Sunday was about to walk out the door, her phone went off . Looking at the screen, she rolled her eyes. “Good lord, woman.” It was her mother, for the 100th time. Well, maybe not that many. But you get the picture.
“Hey Mom.” She said, stepping out of her apartment and heading down the hall to Paul’s.
“Sunday Elizabeth Kirch! I swear you had better have an EXCELLENT explanation as to why you didn’t call me when you landed!
“Oh my word, calm down, Mama. My phone went dead, okay?” Sunday raised her hand to knock on the door, smiling when her boyfriend opened it, allowing her to step in. She pointed to her phone and mouthed “mom”, giggling when Paul feigned fear.
“I don’t find it funny, Sun…And where was Paul? You could have used his phone…Or did he send one of the others to get you? Please tell me you weren’t in a vehicle with Damian behind the wheel!”
“Mom, mom, cool it, please. Paul was there, he left his phone at home. I’m fine, Paul is fine…In fact, he’s right here with me. We were just about to order some dinner and watch a movie. We’re both rather exhausted from the day.”
“Well, you enjoy your evening then, Sun. Tell Paul I said hello. I’m glad you made it safely, babe.”
Sunday smiled sadly. “I will Mom, and me too. Love you and miss you already.”
“I miss you too, Sunny. But I gotta go. Love you!” Lilli exclaimed though her voice was cracking with tears. Sunday knew her mother was crying.
“Love you too, Mom. Bye.” Sunday waited for her mother to reply before hitting the end button, setting the phone down on Paul’s coffee table. “Keep calm, you’re fine.” She thought, biting her lip and willing the tears not to fall.
Unfortunately, Paul immediately noticed her tears. “Darling, are you okay?” He was now standing in front of her, pulling her into a hug. Sunday nodded against his chest, blinking back her tears. “I will be. I just miss her.”
“I know love.” Paul whispered, pressing a soft kiss to her head. “But you’ll see her soon. After all, we do tour in a month. I’d imagine your mother had bought several tickets to several shows.”
Sunday giggled. “Oh, I’m sure she has. She’s the crazy obsessed Thunderhead, after all.” She removed herself from Paul’s arms after kissing his cheek. “Anyway, what movie are we watching?” Sunday was ready to forget her gloomy mood end enjoy her time with Paul.
“Well, the movies are in the book case next to the tv, just pick what you want. I’ll order the food.”
Sunday nodded as she went over to the bookcase. She scanned the titles before spotting one that caught her eye. Smirking, she grab bed the dvd and put it in, then curled up on the couch.
“What are we watching, Darling?” Paul questioned as he took a seat by Sunday. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer to his side.
“You’ll see.” Sunday’s smirk remained fixed upon her lips as she pressed play.
Within seconds the opening of Nightmare Before Christmas flashed across the screen. Paul let out a sigh, rolling his eyes. “Oh no, not this!”
“And why not? It just so happens to be my favorite movie!"
"I hate it, though!" Paul exclaimed.
If you hate it so much, then why was it in your collection? Hmmm?” Sunday poked Paul’s shoulder.
“It’s for Jack when he comes over! I blame his mother for allowing him to watch such things at such a young age. I figured I’d have a copy on hand so he could watch it if he wants.” Paul explained.
Sunday pouted, looking up at Paul with her green eyes. “Can we watch it, please?” The blinked her eyes and kept up her pout.
Paul sighed, letting a grin form on his lips. “You know, if I didn’t love you so much, I would disagree.” He replied, shaking his head.
Sunday giggled as Paul kissed the tip of her nose. “But you do love me. And we can watch whatever you want next!”
“Is that a promise there, Love?”
Sunday nodded. “Sure is, scouts honor!”
And so the two spent the rest of their evening watching movies, eating Chinese, and enjoying the beginning of Sunday’s new chapter in life. [/glow]

[glow=purple,2,300]“Should we wake them up, you think?” A voice whispered.
“Yes, Wake them up! I’ll get some ice!” Another replied, his voice getting further as he spoke.
“Now lads, leave them in their peace….they’re exhausted.” A much deeper voice warned.
“I can hear ye, you know!” Paul murmured, wrapping his arms tighter around the still sleeping Sunday. She had fallen asleep during one of their movies the night before and Paul couldn’t bear to wake her up. She had looked to tired, so Paul just let her sleep, eventually slipping off to slumber himself.
“Did ya forget the recording we have to do today, Byrom?” Damian asked, reaching over to poke Sunday’s face.
Paul smacked Damian’s hand away, glaring at the younger boy. “Watch it lad! She’s vicious when ya wake her! Believe me, I know…”
“Oh really now?” Sunday opened her eyes. “I’m vicious?”
Paul chuckled. “Umm, well, as vicious as an, um….Good morning, Love.”
Sunday giggled, kissing his cheek and then looking up to see three men which she recognized to be George, Damian, and Keith. “Well, how did they get in?”
Keith smirked, holding up a key. “Paul’s not the brightest tool in the shed. He leaves his spare key on the top ledge of the door...He’s just askin’ to get broke into to if ye ask me.”
“I lose my keys often!” Paul exclaimed, trying to justify himself.
“Yeah, well, keys may be the least of your worries if you don’t get to the studio soon. Sharon will have your head!” Damian spoke up.
George nodded in agreement. “Aye, she’s already in a mood today. Ryan’s sick and can’t make it to record today. So ye better get on down there before it all goes to, well, ya know..”
Paul sighed, looking down at Sunday. He had forgotten all about recording. He knew he had to go, but he hated leaving Sunday alone on her first full day in Ireland. “Darling, I…”
“Go ahead, Paul. I need to get settled in still, anyway. Just go to work, and I’ll go unpack. Once you’re done, we could go out, okay?”
Paul bit his lip. “Are you sure, Love?” Sunday nodded. “I’m sure.” She stood from the couch and straightened her tee shirt out. “It was nice to meet you guys, but I should get to my apartment.”
“Twas nice meeting you as well, Lass.” George replied, smiling.
Sunday said her goodbyes to the lads before kissing Paul goodbye and then heading to her apartment.
“Aye, she’s a keeper, Paul.” Keith spoke up after Sunday had left.
Paul nodded smiling. “She is.”
“She’s a unique one, that’s for sure. Did I see…blue in her hair?” Damian asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Yes, it was blue.” Paul replied, grinning at his friends. “Sunday is different when it comes to her style. But I’ll admit that’s what drew me to her. She ‘s not like anyone I’ve ever been with before.”
“You had better keep a hold on her, Lad. Don’t let her get away of I can guarantee you’ll regret it the rest of your life.” George said.
Paul stuffed his hand in his pocket, pulling out a small black box. “I don’t plan on letting her go anytime soon, George. Don’t worry…” .::..::..::..::..::..::..::..::..::..::..:: .::..::..::..::..::..::..::..::..::..::..:: .::..::..::..::..::..::..::..::..::..::..::..
“There..” Sunday murmured, placing the last pillow on her bed. After seven long hours, Sunday was finally settled in. Her apartment was just the way she wanted it, everything was in its place, and now she could relax.
Sunday collapsed onto her bed, closing her eyes and sighing deeply. She was exhausted after a long day of work. Just as she was about to drift off to sleep, her phone buzzed with a new text message. It was from Paul.
He had informed her that he was done with work and was headed back to his apartment. He had dinner reservations planned for them in two hours time.
“I’d better get ready…” Sunday murmured. She stood from the bed and headed toward her bathroom. After a quick shower, she fixed her hair in a slightly more sophisticated style rather than her usual bedhead and applied a small amount of makeup.
After applying her makeup, she hurried to her closet, searching for the perfect dress. She smiled when she spotted a knee length purple dress…the same dress she had worn the day she met him. “I’ll wear that.” She murmured. With the dress, she wore a pair of silver heels and her skeleton key necklace.
As Sunday checked her outfit in the mirror, she could help but feel, well…anxious. Like something was going to happen. Though she couldn’t quite figure out what…
“I’m just tired.” She whispered, “That’s all..”
Just as those words escaped her lips, a knock sounded at the door. It was Paul. After a quick greeting and a kiss, the couple left on their date. [/glow]
