[glow=purple,2,300]Mkay guys, sorry it took so long! Hope you enjoy! Oooh, also, I'm thinking of looking for someone who would like to co write this with me. If you'd like to, then pm me and let me know!
Sunday followed her mother back into the large auditorium as they made their way back to their third row seats.
"Thank God you showed up, Mom. That man was...well, he was just a tad creepy." Sunday whispered as she took her seat.
"Oh Sunday, he meant no harm, I'm sure."
Sunday rolled her eyes. "Yeah...sure. You didn't see where his eyes were before you got there..."
"Maybe he thought you were attractive. I know he certainly was." Lilli smirked, patting her daughter's shoulder. 'Besides, it's not like you'll ever see him again, right?"
"Praise God for that." Sunday murmured, ignoring the smirk fixed on her mother's lips.
The lights dimmed, the orchestra began, and Sunday's attention went immediately to picking imaginary lint of the skirt of her deep purple dress. She never once lifted her gaze to the stage until around the middle of the fifth song.
"You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains. You raise me up to walk on stormy seas. I am strong when I am on your shoulders, you raise me up to more than I can be."
Sunday's attention was focused on the source of that amazing voice. She bit her lip, every bit of her irritation and anger returning. "Well, that explains his attitude earlier..." She muttered, crossing her arms.
"Really? You're just now noticing?" Lilli whispered, trying to hide her laugh.
"Oh, you knew exactly who I was talking to! You couldn't have said something?"
Lilli shrigged. "Just enjoy the show Sunday."
The show continued on, and around an hour and a half later, Paul along with the four other men returned to the stage for one final song.
Sunday couldn't help but snicker at the five men wearing kilts. She watched in amusement as they marched in place, singing about Ireland.
She ignored (or at least tried to) the stare she was receiving from Paul. She wasn't about to meet his gaze. If she did, that meant he had won, and she couldn't let him do that. Unfortunately, Sunday seemed to lose her stubbornness and after a few moments, her eyes met his. Paul smirked at her before turing so swiftly that his kilt flew up slightly.
Sunday rolled her eyes. "How immature..." However, she kept her attention on the stage. The men waited a few beats before turning back around. Well, four of them turned, at least. Paul seemed to spin as fast as he could, sending his kilt flying up and revealing to the audience a bit more than they should have.
Paul must have noticed the look of disgust on Sunday's face, because almost as soon as his eyes met her's once more, he began to laugh quietly.
"Lilli elbowed her daughter in the ribs. "That wasn't so bad now was it?"
"Absolutely repulsive, Mom. Absolutely repulsive."[/glow]
