"My feet hurt!" Damian complained as he sat down on the bus. "I don't wanna walk anymore."
"Well, too bad," Keith said. "We've still got to get to the venue soon."
Damian moaned and buried his face when Paul said, "Think of instead, a girl worth singing for."
Damian's eyebrow shot up in an instant. "Huh?"
He pushed the boys shoulder playfully. "That's what I said! A girl worth singing for!" He sat back and shut his eyes, conjuring the image of the perfect woman. "I want her paler than the moon, with eyes that shine like stars."
Ryan joined the conversation. "My girl with marvel at my strength." He flexed his biceps. "Adore my battle scars,"
"You mean broken rib." Damian commented, earning a flying fist. "Eep!" he ducked.
Keith twirled into his seat and pulled a pillow close to him. "I couldn't care less what she wears, or what she'll look like," He smiled contentedly. "It all depends on what she cooks like!" He bit down on it as if he were pretending the pillow were his great feast. "Beef, pork chicken…" he gnawed. "Mmm…"
"You can guess what we have missed the most since we went off to tour," Ryan said.
"What do you want?!" Damian shouted.
"A girl worth singing for!"
"My girl will think I have no flaws!" Paul went off again.
Keith held up his McPherson triumphantly. "That I'm a major find!"
Damian jumped in excitedly. "How 'bout a girl whose got a brain," he could almost picture her. "Who always speaks her mind!"
The guys looked at him like he was crazy before chuckling. "Nah!"
"My manly ways and turn of phrase ae sure to thrill her!" Paul hooted.
"He thinks he such a lady killer," Ryan sniggered. "But when we come home, in victory they'll line up at the door,"
"What do we want?" Damian cheered.
"A girl worth singing for!" They chorused.
"Wish that I had…" Paul sighed.
They cried out simultaneously. "a girl worth singing--"
"BOYS!" Sharon yelled, bursting through the door. "Time to go!"
"…for." Keith finished feebly.
THE END
~~ I had to skip a few versus because they just wouldn't fit. Oh well, I still like they way it came out!
