This is awful. Someone commented about the photos of supposedly Damian's house and i was really upset when I saw it. That and ones of him when he was younger that obviously look like family photos. And this whole business about cropping people out and putting yourself in their place... what is wrong with you people? why on earth would you do that? there's no point. if you've got the free time and stupidity to do that, then just go get a job or something so you can save up money to get a meet and greet and get your own picture! sorry, this kinda makes me mad. >:[ as far as taking pictures at things youre not supposed to... i feel that if you keep them on your computer and dont post them anywhere, like even facebook, and you're the only person to see the pic then you're ok. i know i'd want to document something that important to me if it happened. i'd want at least one picture so i can never forget it. but if you post it places, people are bound to take it from you and spread it around. that's not good at all. when i went to the concert in November i seriously considered videoing a few songs, but i didn't want to get my phone taken away. but now all i have visually to remind me is the photo of the stage before the show started. i kind of regret not getting a photo of at least one of the group songs and the lads. but yes, i believe whole-heartedly that taking someone's photos is downright stealing. recently i had someone use one of my drawings in a video without my permission. i simply asked them to give me credit for it, and that i would prefer if they asked first. i'm willing to let people use my stuff for certain things, but only with permission. ok i'm done ranting haha

I think that depends on the picture and the person. Damian put a picture of him and a girl on his facebook page and she had no clue. I have seen the same picture on fanpop. She had no problem with it. Telling ppl the acsact local of Mr. McGinty is wrong. But how do we stop them. There are so many ppl that do these things. God will tell us the next step. We can only do it with his help.

When I first set up an account on facebook, I was unaware that it was considered public domain. So you can imagine my surprise when I saw a picture of my sister-in-law and her grand-daughter in an advertisement for going back to college. I contacted my sister-in-law and told her. She was really mad. We both learned a valuable lesson. Set your facebook on private and watch who you add as friends. Is it wrong to steal other people’s pictures? Absolutely. Does it happen? All the time. Apparently John Q Public does not understand the simple concept of invading one’s personal space. A person that is in the public eye is especially hurt. Most people are just curious or want to know all about this famous person. This is why magazines like The National Enquirer and the thousands of magazines out there like that make so much money on the trash they write. The more famous they are, the less personal space they have. I can only imagine how very hard that can be. Perhaps that is why Sharon has set it up so the lads can go back to Ireland where they are just regular people. Is there a solution? The only solution I see is to not post your pictures on facebook, myspace or any public forum. If you want your friends to see your pictures, send them by e-mail or send an attachment in a message. If you want to post them on facebook, set your preferences to private and watch who you add as friends. It is really too bad that it has come to this. A person isn't even allowed to share their lives with their friends without someone ruining it.

Psh. No Tony fell for it though. Seriously...just boycott fanpop! If you say you're against it, but continue to post pictures from there, all you're doing is inadvertently supporting what you say you hate. Don't comment on there, don't use the pictures, since that only encourages those who do post. It's like when you try to get rid of a bee. If you bother them, they keep doing it. If you ignore them, they get tired and stop.

I think it is totally wrong, it is the said persons property and to steal that from them is not right. How would you like it if someone stole your... lets say your story idea and posted it as their own idea, how would you like that? This is a weak example but it gets to the point, I think it's wrong. swimgurl96

This bugs me. It makes me wonder if my pic is safe. Also stealing the pictures invades more than one person's privacy. It invades the privacy of the owner of the picture, and the people in it. This is rude, and the men of Celtic Thunder do not deserve it, they already bend the rules of PBS and Sharon by allowing fans to meet them outside the buses, but this is to far. They would not be happy, they love their fans so much, and we want them to stay connected with us. um pfieffer ok i met damian outside of the buses but i wasn't my fault they were walking outside

It's wrong, for many reasons!I go on Fanpop and I see people (teenagers and kids!) with Damian! Now first,I'm not trying to be a pain in the butt here, but it's wrong. It's their privatey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I met Damian,I didn't put my picture up on Fanpop.I didn't put it any where! It's my privatey. There's pictures of Damian,Emmett, and Gemma.Where did people get that pic!?It's Damian privatey. Can anyone respect that!?

I agree with everybody else! IT IS OUT AND OUT STEALING TO TAKE PICS FROM OTHER PEOPLE WITHOUT THIER PERMISSION! We should be grateful that George and Paul share with us info about how thier Family is doing. George and Paul don't have to do it, they do it because they want to. AND IT'S WRONG THAT OTHERS ARE ABUSING THIS PRIVELAGE THAT GEORGE AND PAUL HAVE GIVEN US. THIS WHY DAMO,NEIL,RYAN AND KEITH KEEP US IN THE DARK SO MUCH. KEITH IS VERY PROTECTIVE OF HIS FAMILY AND NOW MOST OF YOU KNOW WHY! SO LETS ALL BE GOOD THUNDERHEADS AND RESPECT THE LADS PRIVACY IN HERE, IN THE PUB AND ON ALL SOCIAL NETWWORKS THAT THE LADS POST ON!
