ok, this is just a random little transition thing...... Callie’s alarm went off early in the morning. Still half asleep, she threw a pair of baggy old jeans and a t-shirt on. The time went by quickly, and soon a shuttle drove up to the house and Sharon, Alex and her got in.
She seemed to finally be awake and excited about the trip only when they picked up the lads. Yes, then she could feel her own excitement like an electronic pulse through her body…everyone else chatted casually, almost mumbling in their exhausted state.
Callie was the only one not relaxed back in her seat, and her foolish grin did not help hide her anticipation. In fact, Paul had to remind her to put her seatbelt on, which she had so carelessly forgotten.
They got to the airport in Dublin earlier than expected. They busily went through security and waited for their boarding outside the terminal.
Callie sat next to George with all the luggage, while paul and ryan were fast asleep in their chairs an aisle over. Keith and Damian had decided to go find something to drink in the airport, and wandered off.
George was talking on his cell phone, a weak smile on his face.
“Carrie, I miss you so much already and just had to call…I hope I didn’t wake you…”
Callie tried not to listen to their conversation, but she couldn’t help but smile at how much they loved one another….how much she wanted that…and was scared of that.
George hung up the phone with a final “I love you…” and let out an exasperated sigh.
“You are really going to miss her, aren’t you George?”
“Yes, yes of course…” He became silent for a moment before he turned to her and spoke again. “But she and Sarah will come down at least once a month…and I will call them everyday…”
George and Callie turned to the sound of Callie’s name being called. Keith and Damian were fooling around on the moving walkway in the airport and Keith was waving to her wildly.
“Do you have anyone like that?” George said, trying to change the subject away from the fact that he was leaving his family .
“Well maybe…maybe… I’m not exactly sure…”
“The lads have been talking about someone named Bobby?”
Callie couldn’t stop herself from blushing. The lads had been talking about her…but she quickly tried to shake that thought out of her head.
“Yes…well, the truth is…” she hesitated, trying to convince herself that she could always speak openly with George.
But, he knowingly nodded and spoke for her. “…he isn’t real…”
She could only nod guiltily.
“It’s ok Callie…” He said, but was interrupted by Keith passing by them on the moving walkway. He was walking backwards playfully and waving again.
She heard George chuckle, “You know, lots of thunderheads would love to see the lads fooling around like this…and I bet Sharon would love it if you took some pictures of them and uploaded them to the site.”
“Oh that’s such a perfect idea George!” She jumped up and started rummaging through her bag for camera.
Callie could hear Sharon calling all of them to start boarding the plane. She quickly turned her camera on, but at the last moment went back and gave George a big hug.
“Thank you so much George!...and wow, the thunderheads were right, you definitely give the best hugs!” He chuckled and she ran off to quickly take a picture.
Keith saw what she was doing and tried to comically strike a pose on the moving walkway.
“Now stay still for a moment Keith!” Callie giggled as his feet stumbled to regain his balance. She was happy the part of the airport they were in was practically empty.
“Ok…” Callie took a few steps closer to the moving walkway and clicked the camera. Almost immediately she felt arms come from behind her and wrap around her waist, lifting her up.
Callie almost dropped the camera, and kicked her legs back in surprise. But, the person just laughed, and she automatically realized it was Paul. Yes, Keith had distracted her while Paul snuck up from behind and scared her.
She could see Keith laughing, but she couldn’t see Paul. Keith swung his legs over the walls of the moving walkway and jumped over.
Paul let her back down on the ground and she immediately turned around, trying to keep a serious face.
“I’ll get you back for that.” Callie pointed her finger directly in Paul’s face but brought her hand back to her face to hide a laugh. Then she turned to Keith and did the same thing.
“I’ll get you back for that, and I’ll get Damian to help me.” She flashed them both a brilliant smile.
Keith and Paul traded glances and burst out laughing. Callie just grabbed them by the hands and pulled them behind her towards the terminal. She was more excited than ever to go on tour…
ok, shall get better....some long planned stuff coming up very soon ~comment please ;D

omg, i am so so sorry!!! i swear i initially didn't mean to not update for this long long period of time... but sadly i'm probably not the more dependable writer to follow daily... but if you enjoy the story i definitely suggest that you keep reading, because i definitely am going to keep writing it, if that is ok with everybody?? love my readers!!! Callie was one of the first people on the plane and was delighted to find that she got to sit at a window seat. Keith sat next to her, and Paul was on his left. George, Damian, and Ryan were in the three seats in front of them. As the plane rolled down the runway the slight vibrations throughout the aisles and mechanical grade seats put Callie to sleep. The last thing she remembered was the lift off from the ground, and then the excitement of the early morning exhausting her.
She awoke immediately and stared blankly at her surroundings, trying to remember where she was. “Hey, sleep well?” Keith asked from the seat next to her, he flashed her a simple but tender smile.
“Um- yea- I think so” Callie mumbled, rubbing her eyes. She still felt incredibly tired and she wondered what had caused her to wake up.
She turned to Keith, but could barely focus on his face. Immediately the plane shook violently and Callie’s exhaustion escaped her body with the jolt of adrenaline. She looked around her again and realized no one else had reacted to the plane’s movement.
Keith notice Callie’s eyes flash open, and answered her questioning expression: “Oh, yep, for the last thirty minutes or so we have had a bit of turbulence…”
She tried to hold back the gasp that was growing in her throat, and slammed the window pane shut next to her immediately at the next shaking of the plane. Her body was rigid with fear, and her muscles were tense.
A warm hand reached out and lay softly against her head, calmly petting and soothing her.
“Callie are you ok?” Keith must have heard her exasperated breaths. She didn’t answer so he asked again. “Do you want to switch seats or something? Would that be more comfortable for you?”
Callie slowly nodded, still holding her breath from the original fright. She held tightly onto the seat in front of her to balance her legs that felt like crumbling beneath her. And she felt one of Keith’s hands around her waist to guide her into his seat.
Paul, who was now sitting on the seat to the left of her, smiled weakly, showing his concern.
But Callie did not return the smile or a gesture of thanks. She had only been on a plane a few times in her life, but she had never experienced turbulence. Never would she have thought that she would be so horribly terrified by it. It was just then that she realized they were flying over an empty, and impossibly large, ocean.
In her new seat Callie clasped her hands together and stared at the ceiling of the plane, concentrating on the metal corrugates above her. Just as she was beginning to calm her breathing another large movement shook the plane again. Immediately, with a sudden feeling of extreme fear, Callie grabbed Paul and Keith’s hands, which had been resting on their armrests. Her eyes clasped shut, and she tried to quiet her exasperated breathing, it was no use.
Paul brought his other hand to hers, gently wrapping his fingers around her palm. When her breathing only became more scarce he brought one of his hand to her chin and waited patiently till she opened her eyes.
“Callie…” he would whisper silently, urging her to not be afraid.
“Callie…” barley a whisper, soft and caring…
She finally calmed down enough to open her eyes, and there was Paul smiling at her, with the most peaceful smile she had ever seen, he seemed more excited to see her eyes open than anything else.
He didn’t say anything, nor did she. Paul brought her chin to rest on his shoulder, and then went back to reading something, hoping to have her sleep on his shoulder without his urging her to.
She fell asleep almost immediately… Callie couldn’t help but let her mind wander…
So felt like Zara, or tried to imagine what she felt during a performance. Yes, Zara, the amazing dancer and friend. She felt like Zara during “That’s a woman”…like dancing and flitting across the stage. Halfway through the song, the part where Zara begins to walk away by is pulled back and kisses Paul. But Callie looked in front of her and it was not Paul, or so she thought, it was truly like a confusing and impossible to distinguish familiarity. The music of the song she heard being played on the stage around her had too many familiar voices, but none she could place. And then the man was still in front of her, so recognizable that her memory should have placed him immediately. Where Zara normally would have started to dance away from Paul and he would pull her back towards him. And yes, Callie, with her head distractedly cocked trying to understand if she was simply dreaming, stared hopelessly in his eyes and turned to walk away.
All any of the lads had to do… All the man had to do was lightly grab a hold of her hand as she was walking away. No second thought was needed to pull her in with a turn of a heel. Feel driven, like an impossible motion gliding towards one of their faces. Only one large step with a dress softly placating her skin. But no, the energy and passion were fervent. A crushing and forceful kiss, with one of them…with his hand still holding hers, their faces and cheeks touching, lips unmoving and together. His hand pulled her once extended arm in absence closer, as his neck and chin pulled back in surprise, but only ever so slightly. Just then what would happen? Callie could imagine herself only then recognizing the absence of the slight hum from the throat of one of the lads. The hum that seemed to echo through their microphone even when they were not singing, like a breath barely able to overcome the reverberating sound. And then she would twirl and glide away with the sound of the melodic music beating in the background like a distraught lover. Leaving them …leaving him to stand there, without her hand in his. Yes, she…
Callie hesitated and shook her head slightly in her sleep, trying to focus away from her exhaustion. But, no… Yes, Zara (she was forced to correct herself), would flit down the stage, covered in the happiness and utter fiery sensation of his lips. And then she would lay her knees and gown on the floor, too weak to continue standing. She could feel him coming closer, the soft hum from his voice present and crisp as he begins to sing again. Her chest and breath being drawn in and out with each note…with each step. Is it possible she felt a soft hand on her shoulder, caressing its way to brush past the tips of her hair, and finally to her chin which he placed to rest against his chest…or his shoulder when he bent farther down on his knees to hold her till he could just not let her go. Their hearts all aglow. Would she dare look up at the man holding her? Zara would…Zara always did on stage, with a gorgeous and sweetly seductive smile as her head still lay against Paul’s chest.
But, what would she see, Callie thought, if she dared look upwards towards the blinding lights of the theater and at their face looking down at her? Callie sputtered, and once again tried to force herself out of her dream, but it seemed impossible.
She gave in, her own figure looked up at the man holding her. His chest felt warm, and his nearby breath felt intoxicating and burning in comparison. His hair was a calming blonde, NO, a piercing black, NO, a deep chestnut brown.
His eyes were colorful but terribly sad, changing constantly between bright colors and depleted hues of grey in the light. Her lips trembled at not being able to hold onto the image of any one of the men who were holding her, the arms felt familiar but impossible to associate with any one single person. And her lips trembled as the man held her, the stunningly amazing man who never seemed to stay the same, facial features constantly changing, followed suit by her own emotions and passions. The man held her, did not let her go, and stared silently at her, noticing her lips trembling…
Callie tried to warn herself that Zara never trembled in their arms. But, it didn’t matter. Her mind once again drew her back to the dress feeling hot and heavy. The man leaned farther and farther down, his arms holding her closer and closer. Was she happy, was she scared? His hair still darted between the three faces, the eyes and lips flitting across her own eyes, leaving her increasingly saddened only until the next feature of one of the lad’s appeared.
Closer and closer, their arms strong and soft. Callie couldn’t help but think that the song was not supposed to go this way, the audience was before her, an empty dark abyss beyond the bright lights of the theater. No, Zara of course would have done the song differently; she knew better, Callie did not…
“Callie, sweetie, it’s time to go!” An excited voice exclaimed, forcing Callie to escape the lips of the man that had been impossibly too close.
She was finally a little more coherent as she rubbed her eyes and was surprised to see she was on the plane. Zara was standing over her with a sweet and caring smile.
She turned around and spoke to someone behind her: “I told you everything was ok, she was just very tired.”
Callie tried to shuffle in her seat to see behind Zara, but noticed how stiff she felt all over and fell back with the weight of her own shoulders.
“We just couldn’t get her to wake up.” Keith’s voice came up from behind.
Zara just smiled wistfully and went to grab her luggage above her seat, followed closely by some of the other musicians.
Callie rubbed her eyes again and tried to focus on the three figures in the aisle. She turned around to notice that many grumbling passengers were impatiently waiting to pass them and exit the plane.
“We were just a bit worried; you didn’t even wake up during landing.” Paul said, trying to not sound exceedingly protective.
She busying brushed her hair out of her face with her hands and quickly muttered: “Oh thank you so much, I must have just been really tired or something.”
“I think the turbulence must have exhausted you, are you feeling better?” Ryan asked, trying to sooth his own emotions more than wanting an answering.
Callie just nodded and answered “Yea, maybe… I think I was just really tired or something…But it doesn’t matter now!” She paused to give them a brilliant and excited smile, “We are in New York!”

ok...so i am that person that is slowly crawling back asking for forgiveness ..... like i said, i am going to update as much as possible!! i am hoping for at least 2-3 updates a week maybe......but on that note i have to admit that i i actually dont like this update and didn't even plan on writing this, but that is what my fingers typed and my mind seemingly agreed too.... The ride to the hotel went by quickly. The crew, lads, and musicians were crammed into three airport vans. Everyone was more awake now and casually talking, except Callie. Much earlier that morning on the way to the airport she had been the only one talking, in fact her excitement had received barely more than sleepy mumbles from those around her. Now she quietly stared out the window. Paul could see her from the corner of his eye. He tried to stop himself from smiling, but ended up grinning wildly at her from across the aisle.
Callie was quietly staring out the window, but her excitement had obviously not lessened. She was sitting with her knees resting against the seat in front of her with her face resting in her hands. Her wide eyes and brilliant smile, hidden behind her hands, were what had caused the grin to escape across his face. Paul quickly brought his palm to his face, pretending to yawn so he could hide his smile.
Just then Callie’s head snapped around and she was looking straight at him. Had she ever looked at him for that long, Paul didn’t know. It occurred to him at that moment that her distant and aloof attitude often kept them from getting any closer. Callie was even more intriguing to him in this one moment. It was the first time Paul felt she actually looked at him without any other thought. No warning, no boundaries.
But just then he realized that maybe his ‘cover-up’ yawn may have disrupted her excitement somehow. The way she had been so innocently staring out the window with her bright eyes immediately disappeared when he had yawned loudly to cover up his smile. She had turned towards him at that exact moment, even though the harmonious chatter on the bus was significantly louder. He tried to smile now, a weak pursed grin tightening his lips. But he was too late. It had only been a signal moment since he had yawned.
“Ya tired Paul?” Keith chuckled beside him on the seat.
It had only been a moment, a single fleeting glance.
“Naw, just trying to get a good lungful of the city…” They both laughed. Paul looked over and realized that Callie was looking at him again, it was no longer a fleeting glance. Paul continued: “…Well, in fact I am quite tired, some complete stranger slept on me the whole plane ride. And I couldn’t even get a wink in!” As he said that he actually winked at her, no longer trying to hide his smile.
Paul expected her to react in some way….maybe a giggle, a smile…anything. Even though he knew that Callie would know he was just joking, he had expected her to make some kind of comment or attempt to apologize for sleeping on his shoulder. Once again, it must have only been a single moment as Paul’s heart and mind seemed to pulse in sync.
Keith had turned to followed Paul’s stare almost immediately. He gave Callie a little wave and turned back to Paul after only a moment. She hadn’t returned the gesture. Her face was practically expressionless, but her eyes swirled with passion. They both glanced at each other, incredibly confused at how she was acting.
They both looked back to see Callie quickly glance out her window again. Now a slow and unmistakable smile spread across her face. It was only then that they both realized the van had come to a complete stop.
“Are we here?” Paul asked while looked outside the window, but he was in the opposite aisle, no luck.
Sharon stood up at the front of the bus, she looked incredibly tired. “Ok everyone, we’re at the hotel now! All the rooms are already booked, and everyone has the day off. We are doing some rehearsing tomorrow so I suggest you don’t stay out too late.” Sharon glanced at Paul for a moment with a lively smile. “Callie and I are just gonna get the keys to all the rooms now….” She left the bus.
Callie didn’t acknowledge that Sharon had just answered Paul’s question, and she turned back to him with a smile and one eyebrow raised. “Of course we are here Paul! Didn’t you know?” She winked at him then skipped towards the front of the van, following Sharon outside.
Sharon and Callie came out of the hotel to find everyone gathering up their luggage. Callie was still beaming as she skipped over to where Keith, Ryan, and Paul were standing. “Are ya excited?” Ryan asked with a chuckle.
“Yes, Yes of course!!!” She practically shouted, but then clasped her hand over her mouth. The resounding giggles could still be heard past her fingers. The guys couldn’t help themselves from laughing too.
“Well maybe we should start our ‘excursion’ of the city sooner than later, or I half expect you to faint,” Paul said while pretending to steady her with his arms.
Callie practically jumped at the suggestion. “That sounds like a perfect idea!” She smiled at them again and tried to calmly walk over to Sharon to help hand out the room keys.
Ryan, Paul, and Keith all traded amused glances. Something seemed different. Somehow Callie had changed, or appeared to change. She left something back in Ireland that had been keeping her from them, or at least that is what they hoped.
......i really can't wait to write the next couple parts. they are going to be really awesome (for me to write at least) i hope everyone else thinks so too.....

ok...i think this should come with a slight warning......ummmm.....nah ;D
She could feel their eyes on her, they shifted their weight uncomfortably as the time crawled by.
“I’ll be done in a minute,” Callie said over her shoulder as she continued to pass out the room keys to everyone. None of them responded so she turned around, practically dropping all the papers and room keys in her arms. Ryan, Paul, and Keith looked bored to say the least: leaning against the van next to their luggage. They all became more alert when she focused her attention on them.
“How about you go get unpacked like everyone else!! I will meet up with you guys later!”
The three guys traded glances, they were about to argue with her, but realized she had already turned her back to them and continued her task. Right now she was explaining to the group of female musicians the fastest way to get to their suite.
“Umm sure, ok???” Keith stammered, as the three of them walked inside.
Their day off in New York seemed to be dwindling quickly. But, nonetheless, Callie was calmly enjoying a nice chat with Declan in the lobby.
“Well of course it is no problem at all!!” She said with a smile and busily wrote something down in a notebook beside her.
“Ha… I figured you would say that Callie.” Declan said with a laugh as he leaned back on the sofa. They continued talking about the warm fire nearby when a high pitched beeping noise caused her to nearly jump out of her chair.
Callie grinned weakly at Declan and mumbled, “I just got a text, excuse me.” He laughed again and said in his deep boisterous voice: “I figured.”
It had almost been an hour since she had told the guys that she would meet up with them. The text was short and got to the point: “where r u ? ”. Callie tried to imagine who sent it to her, but then quickly remembered the list of numbers Sharon gave her that she would need. She looked at the list and matched the phone number.
“Ryan,” Callie muttered, trying to imagine him pacing in the suite. Of course maybe his impatience could have gotten to him, it wouldn’t be the first time she had experienced it. Her mind quickly went back to the day when she gotten into the argument with him on the porch. He was so unrestrained and impulsive when he kissed her. That kiss, the simply passionate act had made her livid and fuming as her fingers had clutched at his figure. Ryan had completely overcome her better judgment in a single movement, she remembered him practically twirling her to the railing and holding her tightly. His hypnotizing eyes had been smiling at the moment when he had just realized that Callie had remembered them kissing in the pub. And then he had kissed her again, but pulled away for air. She had taken that moment to escape away from him, not letting herself feel anything but regret. Then Ryan’s hand had carefully caressed her waistline as he said “Callie…we do have to talk…”
“What Callie?” Declan asked while taking a sip of tea.
“Oh ….noth-nothing,” she coughed out while quickly texting back the single word: “lobby”. She bit her lower lip to stop herself from smiling.
Callie busily started to organize her two suitcases in her arms while saying goodbye to Declan. A loud beep from the elevator made her drop her luggage to look at her cell phone again, but then realized Ryan crossing the lobby to where she was.
“Well that was fast,” Callie said with a giggle.
“Not the same thing I could say for you!” He said with a wink, and nodded slightly at Declan.
“Hey I do have to work sometimes!” Callie argued, getting defensive at some opinion they seemed to share.
But Ryan interrupted her, looking at her luggage a few feet from them on the ground. “And you haven’t been to your room yet either?”
“Hey!”
But Ryan just chuckled. “Oh Callie.”
“Callie are you really going to make everyone wait for you?” Declan laughed, obviously joining in on the teasing.
“I just don’t know what I am going to do with you Callie”
“Hey!!”
“She has been this way since she was a child.” Declan said, trying to sound ashamed.
But Ryan’s expression changed, and the teasing immediately stopped. “What?”
Declan laughed: “Oh you didn’t know?.... Ye, it was Me, Alex, and our own little Callie.” She glared at him for that comment. “We were all best friends when we were little.”
“So what was she like….” Ryan started, trying to control the inquisitiveness in his voice.
Callie pushed Ryan towards the elevator with both hands against his chest. “It doesn’t matter.”
Declan and Ryan started laughing again, and Callie interrupted quickly to change the subject.
“So I will get you the drumsticks you asked for…”
“Really Callie you don’t have to…” Declan said, the smile staying on his face.
“Like I said before, I already have a bunch of errands for the next week, especially for extra equipment for the musicians….. I think I saw a large music store a couple blocks from here.” She mumbled to herself.
“Well bye Declan!” Ryan said as he walked over to Callie’s luggage.
Callie almost tripped as she darted over to where Ryan was, she swiftly got in between him and her luggage.
“And what do you think you are doing?” She pouted.
“Umm…” He stammered and cocked one eyebrow in questioning.
“I can very well take up my own luggage thank you!” She kept her body, unmoving, in between his even though he leaned forward.
“Bye Declan!” Callie waved. She quickly swatted away Ryan’s hand from one of her suitcases and glared at him.
“Callie, don’t be unreasonable!” He exclaimed. “If you were some elderly stranger in the lobby of the hotel I would offer my help just the same.”
She laughed slightly but regained her composure. “Yes…well, if I were some elderly lady in the hotel I would probably hit you with my purse!”
Ryan chuckled evilly at that and leaned forward even more. He reached behind her and whispered into her ear: “Well, I don’t think you have anything hard enough in your purse to keep me away Miss.”
He took advantage of her obviously flustered state to grab her suitcases and start walking to the elevator. She noticed too late, and almost didn’t make it before the door shut. But at the last moment Ryan stopped the door from closing.
“You almost missed the elevator Miss,” Ryan said as Callie grumbled into the elevator, trying not to notice his wicked grin.
It was just then that she realized they were completely alone. She crossed her arms angrily and grumbled: “How did you know what floor I was on?”
Ryan’s smile fell from his face until he realized the single lit up button in the elevator.
“Well I thought everyone was on the same floor, was I right?”
“Yes,” she mumbled and sank to the back of the elevator more.
“Oh don’t be that way Callie.” Ryan said, coming to stand with her.
“Be like what?” She exclaimed, forcing herself to hold his gaze.
“Be….” he hesitated, “well, sometimes you seem like you want to push us away.” He became completely serious.
“What!?!?!?”
“Oh don’t deny it Callie!”…but his expression became less serious… “like that time on the porch…” She was looking at the ground but she could tell he was smiling. “…do you remember that Callie?”
Callie refused to let herself respond or look up, her whole body stiffened as she slid farther back into the corner of the elevator.
“Oh come one Callie, you can’t have forgotten that too!!” He was obviously over Callie claiming to not remember their first kiss at the pub, he loved being in control right now. But, he would not let her claim to not remember their second kiss on the porch.
“Callie…Callie…” He whispered her name playfully as he came up to her and uncrossed her arms.
“What?!?!” She exclaimed, finally looking up at him. She tried to cross her arms again but he grabbed them and held them to her side.
“Callie, you don’t have to do that…”
“What?”
“Hide….”
Her mouth fell agape at what she felt was an outrageous accusation.
“Don’t try to deny it…” Ryan repeated, letting her arms go, and moving his hands around her waist.
She was too angry and flustered to resist.
Ryan cocked on eyebrow and moved his face closer to hers. “Are you going to admit it?”
“No!” She grumbled, and tried to hold her composure.
“Are you sure?” He moved his face even closer. His lips were only centimeters from hers at this moment.
“n…no…no” she stammered out, quickly biting her bottom lip for a few seconds. It did not escape Ryan’s attention that Callie’s eyes were darting between his own gaze and his lips. Exactly what he wanted.
“Oh ok!” He said, and held his face at a close constant distant from hers. Ryan waited as she made the minute distance and moved her face close, bringing her lips almost to touch his.
His eyes were already closed, expecting to feel her mouth against his, just as he had wished. But he had not planned to close his eyes, that would have meant that he had less self-control in this moment. No, not as he planned at all. Still with his eyes closed he let his hands fall from her waist.
The elevator beeped, making him a little more coherent.
Ryan felt her lips just beginning to touch his, but his hands were already pushed against the wall in the corner of the elevator and pushing his body away. He regained his composure enough to grab her luggage and bolt out of the elevator.
Callie opened her eyes and silently cursed herself. She almost missed getting through the elevator door again, but Ryan held it with his hand at the last second and said: “You almost missed the elevator Miss!”
Somehow, his cool and collective grin was back on his face as he chuckled absentmindedly.
“So, maybe you were right then.” Ryan said while shaking his head back and forth, almost trying to convince himself. But his mocking grin was impossible to not notice as he looked towards the ground.
Callie pushed him on the shoulder, forcing him to stumble backwards. She grabbed her two suitcases on the floor of the hallway and started to stomp away angrily.
“Oh don’t be that way Callie,” he was still chuckling as he hurried to catch up with her.
She glared at him for his repetitive choice of words. “Ok sorry…. sorry!” He put up his arms in innocence. “But, I really would hate to pick you up completely with your luggage, if that is the only way that I feel I could help you.”
“What are you talking aboU----” Callie mumbled bitterly until she was stopped midsentence by Ryan picking her up in his arms. “Ryan!?!?!?!” Callie screamed and dropped both her bags. He started chuckling coolly again.
“Maybe we should each take one bag then?” Ryan suggested while putting her down on the ground, still laughing.
“Um….ye…maybe?!?!” Her eyes were wide and bright as she gathered up one bag on her arms. Ryan took the other suitcase and followed her silently, answering her confused and spontaneous stares all the way to her room.
Callie carefully put her key in the door and turned around to glare at Ryan again. “Well I guess I know my lesson: never be late and always carry something hard in my purse…do you treat all elderly strangers like this?”
Ryan chuckled one last time and brought his cheek to her jaw-line to whisper in her ear: “Nope, only you.” He turned and walked down the hallway towards his room, leaving her standing stunned in the doorway.

i actually kinda do have an excuse for not posting for a long time...this time.... i promise!!!!!!!!! ;D The days before their first concert went by quickly. Everyone was rushing around, and the rehearsals were increasingly busy. There concert was in an extraordinary theatre in NYC on the upcoming Friday night. Today it was only Wednesday and one of the final rehearsals had just finished up. Everyone would get a bit of a break for the next two days. First and foremost in everyone’s mind was the large party that night. Sharon booked a reception hall at the hotel where everyone involved with the show, and their friends and family, would be getting together that night. It wasn’t formal or anything, but everyone seemed to be dressing up nonetheless.
The five lads of Celtic Thunder had a large suite in the hotel, each with their own separate rooms. It was quite nice, compared to the tight quarters they were about to have on the tour buses for the next months.
Right now they were all getting ready for the enjoyable evening they were going to have with their friends and family. All of them were flitting around the suite, searching for free space in front of a mirror. Keith stood in front of the only full length mirror and pulled on his suit jacket. Although he rarely dressed up, other than during the shows, he wore a black suit now.
Hesitantly he fumbled with the tie around his neck and decided to take it off completely, instead opening the first few buttons of his favorite blue shirt underneath the suit jacket.
Keith could hear Ryan and Paul arguing in the bathroom: “Get your elbow out of my ribs.”
“But I was here first…”
Keith chuckled slightly as he ran his hands through his hair and once again decided to put the tie back on. But he was interrupted by his cell phone going off in his pocket.
“Hey!!” He couldn’t contain the happiness in his voice and he turned away from the mirror and let the tie drop to the floor.
“Hey Keith…” she paused… “…could I ask a huge favor?” Her voice dropped almost to a whisper.
“Yes, yes of course Callie, what’s up?” Keith sat down worriedly on one of the sofas.
“Oh, no nothing is wrong at all…” another pause, “…I promise. But you have to promise me you won’t tell anyone...”
“Ummm..ok, but you are kinda worrying me.” He nervously let his hand run through his hair again.
“Oohh Keith…” Callie’s voice became soft and sweet on the other end of the line. She giggled and continued slowly, much more relaxed than the beginning of the call: “…you shouldn’t worry at all, it is no big deal, but I knew everyone else would freakout or something…and you were the only one I thought I could call…but it really is no big deal…nothing…I am just being forgetful as usual…I just didn’t know….”
“Callie!” Keith said loudly into the speaker. He couldn’t help as a laugh escaped his lips at her obvious rambling…
“Oh…” a soft laugh came over the phone again… “sorry…are you alone?”
Keith walked quickly to his room and shut the door behind him. “I am now!!” He glanced quickly at the guitar laying on his bed. He had planned to try to finish up a song he had been working on if he had time before he left.
Keith turned away and spoke into the phone again: “So what’s up Callie?”
“Umm… well…ya see…I was at a music store doing some errands for everyone before the tour kicked off…and I kinda…ummm…”
Keith’s soft laughter stopped her rambling abruptly and she blurted out: “Where is the hotel!! I have no clue what street it is on.”
“Umm… one sec, I’ll figure it out for you…” His voice trailed off as he left his room and looked around the various tables in the suite. The address was printed clearly on the outside of a room service menu.
“…310 on 37th street…” He turned around, smiling widely, and realized both Ryan and Paul looking out from the doorway of the bathroom. Keith unconsciously switched the phone to his other hand and hurriedly walked back to his room, closing the door behind him.
“…so are you going to be okay then??”
So didn’t answer his question. “Oh thank you thank you Keith!! I know exactly where to go, I’ve just been walking around in circles for the past hour…” she chuckled slightly.
“Well be careful…if you get lost in New York City I will have no clue where to look. There aren’t any real beaches I can find you on again.” A laugh escaped his lips as he waited for a response. She stayed completely silent. Not a chuckle, or even a quick come-back. Keith could only hear the noises of the city behind her.
“..so..umm do you think you are still going to make it to the party tonight?” Keith asked after the long awkward pause.
“Oh yes. Yes, of course.” Her voice perked up a bit. “I might miss eating dinner with everyone but I’ll be there tonight…and I’m not too far away from the hotel right now, but I still have to get ready, and I really don’t want to walk in right in the middle when everyone is eating…”
“Oh come-on no one would mind if you come in a bit late. It is just friends and family…”
“Yes… your friends and family, everyone seems to know everyone already…” She couldn’t hide the nervousness in her voice, even without having to talk with him to his face.
“Oh don’t worry Callie, trust me, you have charmed everyone involved with the tour…and I am sure you will captivate everyone we know.”
Another awkward silence. Keith was about to interrupt when a heard a loud roaring noise over the phone.
“What’s that!?” He blurted out abruptly.
“ugh…”
“What?” It was just then that he realized the noise was not just coming from the phone, but all around him too.
“It just started pouring!...ugh” Callie replied. Her groan was unmistakable and he couldn’t help himself from smiling.
“I thought you liked the rain?” Keith said while laughing.
“I do, but not when I am late and needing to run through a city that I am completely lost in.”
Now it was his turn to be silent. And Callie was too quick to let him speak again: “well, what I mean when I say ‘completely lost’ is…well I mean I will be back in like 15 minutes! No worries!”
“Yea”
“…and you aren’t going to tell Ryan or Paul are you?” She became serious again.
“No, no… of course not, I promised you remember.”
“Yea…”
Just then Keith heard a soft knock on the door to his room, and before he could say anything it opened. Ryan stood in the doorway and quietly mouthed: “Who ya talkin’ to.”
“Mi Ma….”
“Ohh!” Ryan seemed hesitant to leave the room though.
“Well I gotta go…” Keith said into the phone.
“Yea I’ll see you later. Thanks again Keith!!”
Keith looked up, trying to hide the smile on his face. Ryan still stood in the doorway with a questioning expression.
“Yeah! See you later…” his eyes flickered to Ryan. Ryan had seen him talk to his Mother on the phone many times before. Keith sighed heavily and said “I love ya…” into the phone before hanging up. It seemed like a reasonable thing to do, especially since Keith was trying to cover for Callie…
“Are you ready mate?” Ryan said, trying to give a reason for his continued presence.
“Yea, just about…” Keith hesitated for a moment and looked back into his room. “How about I meet up with you downstairs in a bit…”
“Oh come on Keith…we are all ready,” Paul said, appearing out of the bathroom.
“I’ll be there soon…” Keith turned his next comment to George and Damian: “Hmmm…I wonder where Callie is…probably already downstairs with Sharon right??”
“I suppose so?” George answered, playing along.
“Ok well we will meet up with you later then…” Paul called over his shoulder. He was already out the door with Ryan at his heels.
George turned to Damian with a slight chuckle. “Boyo…remember, for my sake don’t grow up too fast.” They both laughed and left the suite, leaving Keith standing alone next to the window.

The rain had been coming down hard. The large water droplets covered the window of the hotel suite and blurred the NY skyline. Keith only had patience to wait at the window for a moment after everyone had left. He was tempted to grab his guitar, which still lay neglected on his bed. But he was wary to leave the window for even a moment.
Keith ran down the stairwell, taking the steps two at a time. He held a bundle against his chest, cradling it with one arm; his other hand graced the railing.
He stepped into the lobby at the same exact moment as Callie walked in the revolving doors of the hotel. Keith couldn’t keep the smile off his face as he walked up to her.
At first she seemed a little dazed standing inside the dry and brightly lit lobby. Seeing Keith walking up to her made her look even more confused.
“So you made it back ok then?” Keith stated obviously as he stopped to stand in front of her.
“Yea…I guess it appears so…” Callie looked around her and then up at him, Keith was smiling down at her. Her wet and dripping figure stood shivering slightly.
They both laughed quietly at the silence.
Callie tried to push the wet strands of hair out of her face with her one free hand. “So what have you got there?” She pointed to the bundle Keith was holding against his chest.
“Ohh…” he chuckled and looked away from her for a moment, “I thought you might need….”
Keith held out the large folded towel that he had held against his chest. Without a single hesitation he wrapped it around her.
“ohh…wow…thanks Keith!!” She pulled the towel around her tighter and smiled up at him.
“No problem…”
“umm…Keith?”
“Yea Callie?”
“Aren’t you late to the party?”
Keith looked at his watch and shook his head. “Only a little…anyway, the weather was really bad and I just wanted to make sure you got back ok.”
“Hey!!” Callie let the towel fall from one arm and poked him defensively in the chest: “…don’t you start acting like Ryan and Paul.”
He was taken aback but then noticed she was still smiling at him, obviously not truly angry.
“Don’t worry…” He winked behind his long hair. “…I won’t.” Keith carefully pulled the fallen towel around her shoulder again.
Callie started walking towards the elevator on the other side of the lobby. But Keith caught up quickly and held her arm.
“Umm Callie, I have a feeling you don’t want to walk that way.”
“Why not?”
“I thought you didn’t want anyone to know that you were out.” He slowly pointed to the open doors to a room adjacent to the elevator. Everyone was standing around in the room casually chatting.
Callie stopped walking towards the elevator and peaked around the corner leading into the room. She could see only a few people she recognized. Not to mention paul’s boisterous laughter coming from somewhere in the room. But there were so many unfamiliar, yet friendly, faces.
“It’s ok…” Keith continued. He grabbed her hand and started to lead her to the stairwell. “…see…your okay.”
The heavy door of the poorly lit stairwell slammed behind them. “Keith…” Callie stopped short, causing him to turn around. “Don’t you have to be getting to the party?”
“Yes!” Keith’s smiling expression hadn’t changed. He answered her questioning glare by brushing a wet strand of hair off her face. “But I want to make sure you come tonight.”
“Well of course I am going to come to the party tonight Keith!” she almost yelled, taken aback by the accusation. Her own echo in the dark stairwell startled her, causing her to jump and look around. When Callie looked back at Keith he hadn’t even flinched, a slight smirk was the only difference she could see in the dim light.
“It didn’t sound like that earlier….” His smile grew…
“Well… what do you mean by that----” Callie shook her head in frustration... “you know what Keith, I don’t even want to know!!” With that she slowly started to climb the stairs.
And of course the dim light of the stairwell did not help Callie’s strange confusion at that moment as he walked up the stairs next to her. She couldn’t help but think that considering they were at such a nice hotel, that maybe there should at least be proper lighting in the only escape exit if there was a fire…but a fire of course would light the stairway up a bit….
She groaned silently to herself at letting her nervousness even let her ramble within her own head. Out of the side of her eye she could see Keith’s hair visibly bouncing as he climbed the steps next to her. She glanced at him quickly then looked forward again. From the side of her eye she saw him glance at her… when he turned back she peeked at him to find him once again glancing at her. Keith immediately started laughing at loud.
“What!?!” Callie asked defensively.
He simply continued laughing. When Callie increased her speed to walk ahead of him he once again caught up to her and controlled his chuckling enough to start talking… “So what have you got there?”
“Huh?” Callie asked as she followed his gaze to her left hand, which carried the bag from the music store. She shifted the towel around her shoulders to show him. “Oh just some…stuff I had to get for people…errands and whatnot.”
He absentmindedly grabbed a pair of drumsticks and started playing them against the air. His hair flew wildly as he moved his whole body to pretend to play the drums. “So…do you think I’m as good as Declan and Neil?” Keith questioned, flashing her a dimpled grin.
“I think they would give you a run for your money Harkin. And in fact I think they might run after you if they realized your took their drumsticks too!” She stifled a laugh.
“Ohhh??? Do you really think that Callie?” He stopped short on the stairwell, causing her to stop too. He playfully raised one eyebrow, “because I think they would run after you…I wouldn’t get in trouble at all.”
She was about to question him, but Keith sped up the stairs ahead of her, holding the drumsticks close to his chest.
“Keith!!….Keith!!…” Callie tried to shout as she chased him. Her laughing was impossible to overcome as she tried to catch up with him.
She caught him at one of the landings and threw her arms around his shoulders. “No…” she controlled her laughter as he turned around and she grabbed the drumsticks… “I am quite certain they would run after you Harkin!”
Keith playfully tried to grab something else from the bag but Callie was already running up the next flight of stairs.
His hand was only able to grace her waist before he almost lost his footing. Callie immediately escaped through the door that opened to their floor.
Keith was still laughing as he finally caught up to her again. Callie abruptly held her open palm firm against his chest as he tried to go through the doorway onto the floor.
“Nope!” She insisted with a giggle.”
Keith still took another step forward, but she remained in his way. “I don’t think so!....you are going to be late to the party!” She kept her hand firmly against his chest.
“You are too!” He laughed as he tried to make a grab for the bag in her other hand again.
“Do I need to pay a toll to get past?” Keith winked playfully.
“Nope!” Callie giggled again. “Back the way you came Harkin!” She teased.
“But I think after everything I have done I should at least deserve to use the elevator once today!!”
Callie let her land drop from his chest and he cleared the doorway in a single step.
“Now!” He turned to her abruptly with a smirk, “now…does this mean you have to pay a toll or a tip or something because I helped you out today?” He casually leaned against the wall, blocking the way to her room.
“Oh yes of course!” The sudden idea that this would be the most opportune time to kiss him flashed through Callie’s mind. She leaned in slightly before coming to her senses and saying: “Here’s a tip… don’t ever come late to a party Sharon is hosting.”
She skipped back to her room as Keith started walking towards the elevator, laughing the whole way.
.....ummm....this update was just tangible cuteness....yep...thats it....i've looked at too many pictures of keith in one day and then my fingers created this....ohhh keefers, i blame the dimples tonight ;D

Callie stumbled into the room while pretending to tighten the strap on her shoe. Of course she had been ready for the past 10 minutes but she thought that it would look better if she came in later. She had listened outside the room that Sharon had rented for the party waiting to hear some change. And just as Callie had expected, in only a couple minutes the sounds of everyone finishing eating and starting to socialize as the music started up louder was exactly what she had waited for. Few, if anyone, turned to look when she stumbled into the room.
She was wearing a slender light blue silk dress and flats that couldn’t compare to the high heels that of the other women in the room. It had not been her decision to wear such a pristine outfit. But after being able to spend more time with Sharon lately Callie couldn’t just decide to not wear the outfit that Sharon had picked out for her.
Callie casually straightened out her dress with her hands as she warily looked around the room. There were many familiar faces. She couldn’t hold back a smile as she realized how happy everyone looked: the cast and crew surrounded by their friends and family. Everyone was excited and definitely taking the time to express their love and care for the people involved with Celtic Thunder.
She quickly decided to not awkwardly stand between the door and garbage can, like she was right now. A very familiar group of faces drew her over. It didn’t even take a second thought to walk at a fast pace over to them.
“Hello!” Callie said as she moved into the circled group.
“Ohhh Dearie!!! Callie!” She was enveloped into a hug by a middle-aged woman. “It has been so long, where’ve ya been?”
Callie didn’t resist the familiar hug, and smiled as the older woman held her at arms length to look her over.
“Our plane got here only earlier today. But everyone else was able to greet me…even my son.” She gave a sly little smirk to Declan who was standing next to Callie.
“Well I have just been so busy!....And I had to do some errands.” Callie smiled coyly and hugged Mrs. O'Donoghue again as she loudly stated: “..and I had to pick up drum sticks for Declan too!!”
“Oh Deekie! You are making our dear Callie do errands for you? Please don’t tell me you’re making her do your laundry too? Do I need to come on tour with you?”
Declan put up his hands in innocence… “No….I…no…. I didn’t…” Every in the group immediately started laughing at Declan’s reaction as Callie went around hugging everyone else. For once in a very long time she felt entirely comfortable.
“So how ya been mi lass?” Mr.O'Donoghue said as he adjusted his cap and gave Callie a fatherly hug.
“Absolutely great! Being able to work with Celtic Thunder and everyone involved is just amazing!”
“We haven’t seen you for ages! It really has been too long!...” Mr.O’Donoghue turned to his wife and placed an arm lovingly around her waist. “Ohh honey…weren’t all the kids absolutely inseparable when they were younger!”
Mrs. O'Donoghue smiled brightly at that. “Ohh yes. Declan, Alex, and Callie. They did everything together. Callie is the only girl in the county who I know that could convince young irish lads to play dress-up instead of other boy-ish activities.”
“Hey! We both chose to participate by our own free will. We weren’t convinced by some little lass with cooties!” Alex commented from the other side of small encircled group. His hearty laugh followed.
“Ohh don’t be so numb Alex. We both know how strong our Callie was when she was a younga’ lass.” He playfully lifted up her arm to show some imaginary muscles. “She was the sweetest, most persuasive lass in all of Ireland. But she was also known to be a bit of a tomboy with an underestimated sucker punch.” Everyone started laughing as Declan continued: “We both know she saved us a couple times when she beat up Fintan Murphy for making fun of us for hanging out with a girl.”
“Haha!!! Ye!” Alex made a quick glance at Callie. “Just imagine Callie as a 9 year old little lass wrestling a large 10 1/2 year old bully. Fintan never got over it….was too scared of women forever! I heard he was gonna ask Callie to his prom but got too scared…the dear chap has never gone on a date in his life…” Alex shook his head back in forth.
“I still get scared when I think of Callie in pigtails…those were her intimidating years!” Declan and Alex pounded their fists together at seeing Callie’s slightly perturbed face.
“Ohh boys stop it!” Mrs. O'Donoghue smiled again, only giggling silently to herself. “But truly Callie, after the tour is over you must come back and visit…just like old times!!...Ohh whatever happens with time”
“I suppose it is just age…and time…and life. Things can’t always stay the same.” Callie traded a sad glance with both Alex and Declan. She wasn’t able to hide a small embarrassed blush come over her face. “But I will certainly take you up on that offer as soon as the tour is over!”
“Ohh I am so glad dearie. I will make sure you keep your promise.”
Callie let out a giggle as she agreed again. She excused herself from the group saying that she should probably go around the party and greet others. With another earnest smile and a wave she politely excused herself as the light and friendly laughter continued behind her.

Callie drifted around the room of guests trying to find anyone else she recognized. She wasn’t sure how comfortable she felt about the idea of the cast and crew introducing her to their family. But nonetheless she spared smiles at everyone who greeted her.
A pretty girl with long red hair stood out in the crowd. She must have been 17 or 18 and she was talking to Damian at one of the tables. She waved goodbye to him and left the table to approach Callie.
“Hey! I don’t think I have seen you before!” said the girl and she extended her hand.
“Nice to meet you. My name is Callie.”
“Ohh!!” The girl’s expression became surprised, but then she smiled. “I know you!”
The girl let out a small laugh. “What I meant to say was that I have heard a lot about you.”
Callie still remained surprised, not knowing how to react.
The girl shook her head slightly and continued: “I’m Rebecca.”
Callie tried to place the name, she recognized it but couldn’t place it.
“Nice to meet you Rebecca,” Callie paused awkwardly, “sorry…but can I ask how you know me?”
“Oh sorry…my brother has told me about you, he is…” Rebecca smiled at someone behind Callie.
Callie felt someone standing next to her and turned to see a familiar face.

“Hello Ryan!” Rebecca exclaimed.
“Have you been enjoying New York with your family these past couple days?” Ryan asked, almost completely ignoring Callie. His motionless shirt sleeve grazed Callie’s bare arm.
Rebecca rolled her eyes at that. “Of course I have been enjoying New York, but I haven’t been able to hang out with everyone because you guys seem to be so busy all the time.”
Ryan laughed slightly and both he and Rebecca glanced around the room.
Just as Callie was about to shuffle away from the conversation Rebecca quickly interjected: “Have either of you seen Keith?”
“Nope, sorry… I know he came to the party late though, he is probably still eating or something.” Ryan shook his head but took the chance to turn to Callie for the first time. “Have you seen him at all Callie?”
She shook her head and turned back to Rebecca. “So Keith is your brother then? Sorry, with everything going on I must have forgotten. But trust me, he has told everyone a lot about you” Callie smiled at the younger girl. “You are a musician too right? Keith said you were an amazing singer.”
Rebecca blushed slightly at that. “Well that is only what Keith says, and he has to say that, he’s my brother!”
Callie leaned in towards Rebecca to whisper into her ear. Ryan was puzzled but didn’t move to be able to hear better.
“Trust me Keith would never lie, I believe what he says and he says you are going to be really famous one day.”
Once again the younger girl blushed at the compliment. “So should I believe what he tells me about you then?”
The two girls giggled at Ryan standing awkwardly out of the conversation.
“Well it probably depends on what he said,” Callie tried not to think about it. “In fact…never mind!! I’m not so sure exactly that Keith would never lie, most likely everything he told you about me is probably a lie.” They both laughed again, Callie decided to quickly interject one last statement. “Correction: He would never lie about someone he cares about!”
Callie started laughing, unaware the Rebecca’s humor had turned into a sweet smile.
“Ummm….” It was now Rebecca’s turn to lean in closer to Callie and whisper into her ear “Then I am sure what he told me about you is not a lie.”
Callie pulled back and her face was bright red, compared to the giggling Rebecca.
“What’s happening?” Ryan pleaded as he tried to understand what had happened.
“Nothing…absolutely nothing,” Callie said as she rested one of her hands on Ryan’s shoulder. She and Rebecca smiled at each other.
“I’ve just come to the conclusion that I should probably hang out with more girls.”
Just then a sweeping arm surrounded her, and she felt a huge weight on her shoulders.
“Are yee sure ‘bout that Callie?” Keith flashed everyone a smile, and then turned back to Callie who was practically holding him up as he balanced a glass of Guinness in his other hand. “I’m not so sure dat hanging out wit all girls would be best. Ya got da spunk to hang out wit guys…In fact Declan and Alex were tellin’ everyone about a chap named Fintan Murphy!”
Ryan turned away slightly and laughed into his palm. Callie could only roll her eyes knowing that her friends were telling more stories about her childhood.
“Oh Dear Dear Fintan” Keith started to loudly exclaim. “Fintan should have ran when it began! There was no chance, after thee first glance! Our Callie was strong and she was tough, And strangely enough…” Keith paused, trying to think of some way to finish. But his eyes were glazed over and he took another swig from his glass before bringing his face inches from Callie’s. And strangely enough… she pounded dear Murphy into marshmallow fluff!”
Everyone started laughing at Keith head drooped slightly and bobbed as he made his slurred voice serious towards Callie: “Did ya like it?”
Callie tried to steady him, but found it impossible and just smiled: “I loved it, thank you Keith.”
“Ok Keith, come-on…” Ryan went to lift Keith’s arm off of Callie’s shoulder.
“Hey!!” Keith defensively swung his arm. Everyone got bitterly quiet, and Ryan’s blue-grey eyes iced over. Callie put one hand against Ryan’s chest to try to make eye contact with him. But almost immediately after Keith distractedly turned away.
Keith’s heavy arm and tall figure dropped from Callie’s shoulder and in one quick step he held onto Rebecca in a big hug. “So how have yee been doin’ mi wee sis?”

That seemed like the perfect moment to slowly drift away from the group. Callie convinced herself that she was simply going to greet others at the party. She stopped for a moment, deciding whether to go back to her hotel room or not, when she felt a slight tug on her dress from behind.
Callie turned around to see a bright eyed boy of no more than 5 or 6 looking up at her.
“Well hello!” Callie exclaimed with a smile.
The little boy shyly shuffled his feet on the ground and looked away. His tiny hands held tightly to a piece of paper.
When he didn’t answer, Callie continued: “Well what have ya got there?”
His gaze shifted between the paper and Callie, finally deciding to rest on Callie’s smile. Once again he looked away but held out his hand to her with the paper, offering it to her.
“Did you draw this?” She asked as she gently took the paper from his hands. It was a drawing of an airplane.
The little boy nodded his head happily and pointed to a table off in one of the corner’s of the room. At the table were many of the younger kids coloring with crayons and paper—one of Callie and Sharon’s better ideas when planning the party. He softly held onto her free hand and pulled her towards the table.
“Is this the plane you flew on to get to The United States from home?” She asked.
The boy looked up at her with his shining bright blue sapphire eyes and nodded.
“And did you get to eat peanuts on the flight? Did they give you a special pin?” Callie smiled down at him.
The little boy grinned widely back up at her, the smile seemed incredibly familiar.
Callie didn’t know who this adorably quiet little boy was, and kindly tried to investigate. “So who did you fly here with?”
“Mi ma and sister!” It was the first words he had spoken. He turned away from her to grab other drawings from the table to show her.
As Callie was looking at the other adorable drawing a little girl left the table and got her attention.
“Hello!” It was almost a whisper from the blonde haired girl.
“Hi! Ohh I would know you anywhere, you must be Sarah…am I right?”
The little girl nodded with a big smile on her face.
“I work with your daddy, George… he shows everyone your picture in his wallet.”
Sarah also held up a picture to Callie, which was undoubtedly her father.
Callie tried to hold back a giggle as she looked at the crayon drawing. “Is pink your favorite color Sarah.”
“Yes!” The little girl answered.
“Is that why you drew Geor—your daddy in a pink kilt?” Again, she held back a laugh.
“Yep!”
“Have you shown your mommy or daddy your picture yet? I am sure your daddy would love to see it! He will bring your picture will him throughout the whole tour I am sure!”
“Oh that is a good idea! I think he will like the pink kilt too.”
“He will love the picture of him in the pink kilt Sarah, trust me!” Callie called after the little girl as she skipped off into the crowded party towards George. She watched Sarah get swept up into a full hug by her father and then looked back towards the table.
The brown haired blue eyed boy was still smiling at her.
“I don’t think we were officially introduced… My name is Callie.” She bent down to his level and held out her hand with a friendly smile. “I got to see all of your lovely drawings but did not even get your name.”
The little boy seemed much less shy. “My name is…”
“Jack?!?” A voice from behind her interrupted the small boy.
Callie spun around in surprise and stood up to unexpectedly see Paul standing behind her.
“Yes Uncle Paul?”
“You know you shouldn’t be talking to strangers lad!” Paul winked at Callie’s surprised expression.
“But Uncle Paul…you told me—”
“But no worries, this ain’t no stranger lad. Do you know who this is?” Paul said as he wrapped on arm around Callie’s shoulders.
“You told me her name was Callie.”
Paul blushed a little and looked innocently away from Callie’s questioning glare.
“Why do I have a feeling this whole thing was planned?” Callie lifted Paul’s arm off and shoulder and his gaze focused on her as she approached Jack again.
“What else did your Uncle Paul tell you?” She kindly smiled down at the shy boy who brightened up a little. Out of the corner of her eye she could see Paul shaking his hands back and forth behind her, but she held the little boy’s stare.
“He told me that if you danced with him tonight at the party that he would take me out for ice cream.”
“Paul!!” Callie yelled as she wildly turned around to face him.
“Kids say the darn-dist things, Aye!!” He innocently looked away from her glare but peaked to see a slight smile form on her face.
“But we have never danced before, and you did promise!!”
“That was months ago!!” She wasn’t sure if she was surprised or irritated at him for bringing up those memories, but nonetheless she quieted her voice. “Hmmm…let me think…” Callie let out a giggle and turned towards Jack again.
“Do you think I should dance with your Uncle Paul?”
The little boy nodded energetically.
“Do you think he will agree to let you have two scoops of ice cream and as many toppings as you want if I agree to dance with him.”
Jack bit his lower lip, thinking it over, and then nodded again.
“Well…” Callie turned back to Paul with a smile. “I guess I have no choice in the matter then!” ...OMG... i...actually....met....them ;D <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

She wouldn’t admit it to anyone but she was excited. She would admit it to herself though, she was secretly thrilled.
Callie smiled to herself as Paul led her to the dance floor. He held her hand tenderly as his feet seemed to sprint ahead of her.
“Whoa der love.” He exclaimed when he stopped suddenly and Callie ran into his chest. She looked up, and her former smile slipped from her face as she saw his blue sapphire eyes and wide grin staring down at her. Callie stepped back, rethinking her entirely foolish decision to dance with Paul. She looked down to the floor and concentrated on his shoes as she silently cursed herself. But Paul continued to grasp the one hand he held onto and waited for her to lift her eyes ever so slightly to meet his.
“Awe…no second thoughts…” Paul’s voice jokingly pleaded her to meet his stare.
Callie only shook her head slightly.
“Come now….you don’t want my nephew to be disappointed.” He brought her hand that he held around his neck. “Come on…” He took her other hand and held it in his own. Paul didn’t give her another moment to think it over, he immediately started dancing with her in his arms. She blushed, but did not pull away again.
“See…not bad at all!” Paul grinned down at her only to notice she was silently staring away and avoiding his glance. “…in fact I would consider myself quite a descent dancer… wouldn’t you agree Callie?” His joking boast finally make her look up to meet his shining sapphire eyes which seemed to smile with humor.
“Yes Paul, you aren’t too bad…But of course I expected better from the Swanky Tenor himself! We don’t even seem to be dancing to the music.” Callie playfully teased back, slowly becoming more comfortable.
Somehow Paul’s grin became even wider as his body continued to lead her to some unknown song. He leaned forward and answered her questioning stare. At first she heard a slight humming and she pulled back to try to make eye contact with Paul to understand. His eyes seemed to shine as he winked at her and leaned towards her face again.
This time she clearly heard the words he whispered into her ear:
“Like a flower bending in the breeze Bend with me, sway with ease When we dance, you have a way with me Stay with me, sway with me”
She relaxed and continued to let Paul lead her in dancing to the song he sung in her ear. She rested her head on his shoulder and peaked upwards to see the same grin on his face. Callie wanted to ask him if he had planned this all along but she couldn’t get herself to interrupt the song he was singing to her.
“Other dancers may be on the floor Dear, but my eyes will see only you Only you have the magic technique When we sway, I go weak”
Immediately, without warning, Paul dipped her. Callie held tightly to the collar of his suit and supportive shoulders as he held her firmly within his own grasp. Wavering in the air against gravity she somehow still felt safe and completely happy.
They traded smiles, and Callie unconsciously hid her face in his chest for a moment to hide a laugh. She blushed slightly as he continued singing.
A couple hours later the party had died down tremendously and mostly consisted of older men drinking at a couple of the tables. But the music was still playing and Callie found herself rocking back and forth in Paul’s arms. Her head lay sleepily on his shoulder and her eyes were comfortably closed.
“Callie??” Paul asked as he brushed a strand of hair from across her face as he stopped dancing.
She could barely make a sluggish groan in response.
“Callie?” Paul let out a laugh at her obviously lethargy.
“Yes?” She mumbled.
“You are exhausted! I should probably take you back to your room, we have a pretty early day tomorrow.” “Please no…I’m comfortable here. Please.”
Paul chuckled and the hot air from his breath hitting Callie’s neck seemed to make her drift farther into sleep.
“I insist.”
“Ok…ok” Was her barely audible response, and she nestled her head even more comfortably on his shoulder. Paul wrapped his arm around her and led her out of the room to the elevator.
“I was wondering Callie…” Paul began to ask, but was interrupted by another sleepy mumble:
“Thank you Paul, I had a lot of fun tonigh...” Her head still lay on his shoulder with her eyes closed, he seemed to be supporting her upper body more and more as her legs exhaustedly wavered back a forth.
“I did too!” He whispered back in her ear.
“Wha…what…” Callie was obviously trying to gather her thoughts and not drift off to sleep. “What were you going to say?” Her body seemed to lean on his completely as he didn’t answer. Paul looked down at her to notice that she was fast asleep on his shoulder with a sweet smile on her face as he held her.
“Nothing….” Paul finally whispered. He hesitantly and tenderly kissed the top of her head and ran his free hand over her hair.
As he stared down at Callie for a moment her peaceful smile grew affectionate. But the moment passed swiftly as the elevator loudly beeped and the doors slid open. Callie jumped from his arms, her peaceful countenance lost. She was fully awake now, and looked around her in confusion and fear.
“It’s ok, you’re fine…I promise!” Paul held out one arm to steady her, she let him lead her out of the elevator.
“Thank you for everything Paul, tonight was fun!” Callie abruptly exclaimed with a nervous smile and turned to walk towards her room.
“Yep! Anytime!!” He called after her and she quickly continued walking without turned to face him.
Paul found himself still standing in front of the elevator even when she had reached her room at the end of the long hallway. Callie gave him a small and genuine wave before she disappeared behind her door.

Just as Paul had said it was a very early morning the next day. The guys were going on a local news station to sing, and that meant waking up long before the sun was up.
Sharon shook Callie in her bed to wake her up.
“Dear, we have to leave soon!”
Callie jumped from her bed and stared at her alarm clock. It was much later than she had planned on waking up, but she was still altogether tempted to crawl back into her bed.
“I didn’t want to wake you, but I turned off your alarm…you just seemed so tired. You got back pretty late last night.”
“You turned off my alarm?” Callie exclaimed as she tried to calm her apprehensive and rigid body after jumping out of sleep. She remembered how much Sharon reminded her of her own mother, when she was younger her mother used turn off her alarm clock if she thought her daughter was tired too.
“Don’t worry sweetie. I’ve decided, if you don’t want to come to the station this morning with us then you don’t have to. It is just going to be me and the lads, all of the musicians and crew are all sleeping. There is no reason for you to come if you are too tired. I think I can manage by myself for one day. I managed without an assistant for a whole year before you came!” Her motherly smile made Callie want to agree to her idea, but she truly did want to go.
“I’m fine Sharon, I promise. Just let me shower and dress really fast, I can be in the lobby in 15 minutes.”
“As long as you are sure?”
“A hundred percent sure!! It is going to be a lot of fun, and I can only imagine that you may need some help with the lads, I know they can be a little cranky in the morning.”
“A little??” Sharon scoffed, but it turned into a light laughter. “The taxis are gonna be here in about 20 minutes, I’ll be down stairs.”
Immediately when Sharon left the room Callie sprinted to the bathroom, casually running straight into the doorframe on her way. The hot water of the shower felt amazing, but tempted her to fall back asleep. She didn’t know what time it was she had gotten back to the room but it was about 4:30 right now, and she caught herself day dreaming about the coffee should would hopefully be drinking soon.
When she finally convinced herself to get out of the shower she pulled on jeans and a green Celtics t-shirt Ryan had bought her a few days earlier when they first came to the city. Her fingers traced the black and white stitching of the green shirt.
She remembered walking with Ryan around the city that day. At one point he got boyishly giddy when they came across a large sports store. He had snatched her by the arm and pulled her quickly inside. Before he even glanced at a single thing he pulled Callie directly to one part of the store.
“Ryan, where are we going?” Callie had asked as most of the store passed by and Ryan hadn’t looked at anything. His concentration was focused, and his still emergent giddy smile started to become eerie as he led her farther.
He had stopped suddenly in front of a rack and grabbed something that he held up to Callie’s body. When she looked down she realized it was a Celtics t-shirt.
“Really Ryan?” She let out a laugh and tried to push away the shirt.
He ignored it, “I think it is perfect!! Please let me buy it for you.” He smiled down at her genuinely.
“I can’t, and won’t, let you do that for me Ryan!” She tried to push the shirt away again.
“Please!! Just think of it like a gift.” He gave the same tempting smiling.
“A gift for what?”
Ryan’s face dropped as he tried to think of a reason, “…because this is your first time in New York City! You need something to remember it by!” Ryan hadn’t waited for her respond, once she smiled at his comment he had decidedly led her back to the front of the store to buy the shirt.

All the guys were in the lobby with Sharon, who was on her cell phone. Damian was the only one that seemed awake and was playing a hand held video game. George was sitting next to him on the couch and had a frustrated expression on his face.
“So why do you keep pushing that button lad?”
“Because it kills the aliens…..YES!!!!!” Damian shouted as he jumped up in victory and then quickly sat back down to concentrate.
“But why do you want to kill the aliens?”
“Because they are evil and I want to win.…..NO NO NO NO!!!!”
George scratched his head. “Maybe you need to not let them kill you, it might help….”
“Yea….maybe…”Damian said sarcastically. “NO NO NO NO NO!!!”
“I think you just died…” George said as he pointed towards the screen. Damian became irritated and handed the game to George. He immediately started playing it, and Damian yelled over his shoulder.
Paul sat on the other side of the sofa and was resting his head on the arm rest. Ryan and Keith were standing nearby and chatting casually.
“I have a head-ache…” Keith grumbled, obviously a bit hung over from the night before.
“Don’t let Sharon know, she made it a point that we didn’t drink too much last night because we were singing today!.... But at least you’re awake…unlike some…” Ryan and Keith glanced at Paul on the sofa.
“Late night Paul??” Keith yelled to wake him up, the casual slagging put him in a better mood.
Paul grumbled and dragged his feet over to them. “Yea, the party was a lot of fun though.” He had gotten back to his room at around one in the morning. Normally he would have been completely fine with only a few hours of sleep, but that was exactly the problem. Paul hadn’t gotten a couple hours at all, once he lay in his bed he found it entirely impossible to fall asleep. He continued to think about the amazing night, it seemed that it was too unreal. He lay awake thinking about how he had held Callie and sang to her for a couple hours straight. He also couldn’t fall asleep because he was trying to think of a way to get her to come with him and his nephew for ice cream that day, but Paul even knew that he wasn’t that lucky.
“When did you get back?” Ryan asked when Paul finally reached them.
“I’m not sure.” He lied.
“Do you know who is coming with us to the station today?”
“I’m not sure.” He lied again. Callie had told him the night before that she was planning on coming.
Sharon then motioned for the guys to head out and get in the taxis.
Paul finally became alert and looked around him, “Sharon, I thought Callie was coming….”
Sharon turned before she walked through the revolving doors. “Yep, she is heading down now. She got back late last night from the party so she was just running a bit late.”
Paul avoided Ryan’s questioning glare, obviously he hadn’t thought that maybe Paul had been hanging out with her late into the night.
Just then the elevator doors opened with a beep. Callie stumbled out struggling to put a sweater on.
“So where’s Sharon?” She asked when she finally situated her arm through the sleeve. Callie smiled at Ryan, Paul and Keith as she walked past them and went to look over George’s shoulder. “Hey Damian. Isn’t that the level you have been trying to get to for the last couple days?” She tossed a glance to the guys behind her and laughed.
“Yes.” He said in a gruff voice. “But the game was never very fun, I wasn’t into it.”
George tightly held the held and jumped up shouting: “YES YES YEEEEESSSSS!!!”
“Ugh… can we just go now?” Damian tried to grab the game back from George and gave a forlorn look to Callie.
“Yes, we are leaving right now. And cheer up, the studio is gonna have food, and I can guarantee that before any of the other lads you get to get a donut. Ok?”
That seemed to cheer him up and he gladly walked faster towards the entrance.
Ryan came up to stand next to her. “Nice t-shirt.”
Callie unzipped her sweater to look at it again. “Yea, I really do love it. Thank you again!”
They all started to walk entrance too, Callie trying to guide George though the lobby without tripping as he played the video game. Damian let out a loud disgruntled sigh and rolled his eyes.
“Like I told you, it was a gift!” He hesitated. “….so…. you came back late last night??”
Callie stopped short in surprise. “Ummm….I’m not sure…why….who said that?” She traded a glance towards Paul a couple feet to the left of Ryan. He seemed just as surprised at the comment. Ryan turned his head and noticed the glance between Paul and Callie. In fact the three-way glance could not have been more awkward and guilty. When he turned back to face her she was smiling brilliantly at him. “…We are in New York, of course I wasn’t planning on going to bed early.” She laughed slightly and continued: “I want to enjoy being here as much as possible! “Memories of fun times, and of course this t shirt—” she rested her hand on his shoulder, “—are the only things I am going to have once we leave!”
And with that Callie skipped ahead through the doors and got into the first taxi.

Callie skipped from the taxi. She had sat with Damian and George in the back while Sharon sat in the front with the driver. Paul, Ryan, and Keith all took the other cab.
Callie was a bit scared to think what Paul might be going through right now, she could only imagine some kind of interrogation occurring with Ryan. More than anything she wanted to let herself drift off and fall asleep on the ride. But her thoughts remained elsewhere, keeping her fully awake and constrained to her grumpy state. She tried to busily fix her damp hair onto a pony tail to distract herself.
So when the taxi came to a halt outside of the large concrete news studio she wasn’t sure at this moment whether she wanted to run out of the cab or stay safely seated. It was still dark out and the taxi lit up wildly as George stepped out. Damian had resumed playing his video game earlier on the ride and made no movement away from his seat to prompt her to move. He was entertained, and hadn’t even realized that they were there.
“Damian, put the game away now.” Sharon’s motherly voice came from the front as she stepped out of the vehicle too.
Callie stepped out onto the hard sidewalk and the cold morning air hit her lungs like ice. The other taxi pulled up behind their cab, and the three very familiar figures stepped out into the darkness. It was just then that she got the reality of the tour that had truly just started. Sharon and the guys from the two cabs congregated together on the sidewalk. It must have been five or five thirty in the morning but they were all wide eyed and smiling.
It was just then that Callie realized they were all wearing their tuxes. Paul peaked up from listening to Sharon and winked at Callie with a smile. Sharon said something and he quickly focused back again. Nonetheless, the slight reassurance calmed Callie.
The guys dispersed again and headed towards the doors, Callie hurriedly shuffled away from the cab to follow. It all was like some strange routine she was not used to yet. She noticed a small grouping of fans near the entrance. She hadn’t expected for there to be people coming out this early. Sharon went in through the large revolving doors of the news station as the guys started talking with the fans. Bright flashes of light from cameras lit the street and the metal frame of the door glimmered like a shiny mirror with the illumination.
“Excuse me Miss…” Callie felt a hand rest gently on her shoulder just before she had made it through the doors.
She turned around and found a smiling middle aged woman. She was wearing all green with a dark green tam hat that said Erin Go Bragh.
“Could I ask you to take a picture for me?” Her excited smile was enough to make Callie want to hug this stranger thunderhead.
“Yes of course!” Callie answered with her own excited smile. “Ohh you’re irish?” The woman seemed surprised.
“Yes yes.” Another polite smile couldn’t hide her own giggle as she held out her hand.
“Very…” she hesitated, “very, very nice to meet you!”
“Nice to meet you too!” The fact that this stranger was simply impressed that Callie was a part of the Celtic Thunder production exhilarated her. When Callie looked in the camera lens that the woman had handed to her she immediately noticed the woman holding onto Keith. The lighting wasn’t good but it truly was the first time Callie even noticed him there. Her hands dropped down a little in her own surprise, and she made eye contact with Keith without the lens in the way. He himself seemed to also be laughing at Callie’s excited reaction to the woman. His hair bounced wildly as the thunderhead was momentary dumbstruck by seeing his dimples up close.
Callie tried to steady her hand between the cold and her control of the camera while she focused on the two in the shot.
“Thank you so much deary!” The woman excitedly held out her hand again to Callie. “Do you think you could take a picture of me and my niece in another picture.”
Callie brought back the camera close to her chest and nodded eagerly. A little brown haired girl with a picture shyly stood behind Damian as he was signing autographs, her Aunt tried to nudge her forward to say hello to Damian in front of her. She must have been no older than five years old, and truly was one of the cutest little girls she had ever seen.
“Damian…” Callie whispered to get his attention. He spun around to look at her and then noticed the little girl in front of him. His eyes lit up as he bent down to be at her level, his tux coat rested against the ground.
“…And what’s your name?”
“Isabel…” she whispered.
“Damian, do you think I could get a picture of you with her?” Callie hinted, and her Aunt gave her an appreciative smile.
He answered with a smile and picked the girl up in his arms, her aunt moved to stand next to them.
After a couple more pictures of other fans and the guys Callie unconsciously zipped up her sweater tighter because of the cold.
“A bit chilly?” Ryan asked as he signed an autograph next to her.
“Nope, its just early!” Callie tried to laugh, but her teeth chattered uncontrollably. He immediately handed the autograph back to the thunderhead and winked. Ryan then wrapped one tight arm around her and leaned to whisper in her ear.
“You can go inside if you’re cold, I’m sure Sharon needs you for something…” His excuse was tempting only because she hadn’t considered it to be this cold this morning.
Callie leaned to whisper back into his ear: “But I am having fun! I want to help out as much as I can!”
Ryan rolled his eyes at her answer and dropped his arm. Immediately she was freezing again and realized how warm his arm had made her. He noticed her body become rigid and placed his arm around her again. They could only trade smiles with one another as he continued talking to the fan in front of him.
Of course, it hit Callie what it must look like with Ryan Kelly having his arm around a girl. It didn’t matter that there were less than a dozen people here. Callie knew that it was less than normal for fans to see this. They both had to separate after only a few minutes. Callie went to continue taking pictures, and found herself quite a popular person to talk to in the little group of people outside the building.
After only the first few minutes away from Ryan’s warmth Sharon gratefully came outside.
“I’m so sorry but I have to steal the guys away now…They should probably warm up and eat something before we go on air. I hope everyone watches them later!”
Over the faint disappointed murmurs someone could be heard softly singing “Steal Away”. Callie almost immediately placed the velvet voice. As Paul passed her to the large doors he continued singing with a huge grin on his face. The thunderheads started laughing and waving.
A resounding chorus of “thank yous” came from the mini crowd. Callie was the last one through the doors and she heard many people thank her too as a calm buzz of chatter started.
Callie went through the doors of the news station smiling, just then noticing a tuxedo jacket draped around her shoulders.
..ok...i'm just a bit proud of myself that i have been a bit better at updating lately!!! lol ;D

When Callie passed through the spinning doors the bright light dazed her already semi-conscious feeling. She hurriedly tried to catch up with the guys and Sharon who had somehow already cleared the wide lobby and were going through a large studio door.
The studio seemed pitch black and Callie once again could barely see a foot in front of her. She rubbed her eyes and tried to focus. Almost on the other side of the studio were all the lads and Sharon, but she couldn’t see them clearly.
Callie slowly made her way across the room while looking down and focusing on her feet. A firm hand grabbed her arm and steadied her. “Callie, did you get lost?” Sharon asked. The dark room became clearer and Callie could see a faint smirk on Sharon’s face.
“Just trying…umm.. not to trip.” Callie answered guiltily.
“Ohh…” She hesitated, “well that’s a good idea I suppose. Especially for you dearie!”
Callie couldn’t help but laugh in agreement.
“So the guys are going on in about an hour for a sound check. Right now they are just eating the food the studio provided.”
“And how is that going?? Have we bankrupted the station yet?”
“Shhh… we won’t tell them until the guys perform.” Sharon laughed.
“So is there any chance that there will be any coffee left?”
“Ohh of course Callie! But first can you run something to the manager for me? Just some last minute details. I’ll make sure that the guys don’t eat absolutely everything!” Another laugh.
“No problem Sharon! That’s my job remember!” She casually took the tuxedo jacket from her shoulders and placed it on the nearest chair.
“Thank you again. I don’t like to admit it, but I certainly needed the help this tour and you have been an absolute delight!” Sharon handed a thick manila envelope to her.
“And as I have said many times before, I really appreciate being able to come! I have had an amazing time so far!” Callie hugged Sharon and peeked over her shoulder to see five dark figures looming over the table with all the food. She tried to notice who didn’t have a tuxedo jacket on, but couldn’t tell which guy was which.
“All the guys and crew really seemed to have accepted you. They aren’t too bad if I may say so myself.” Sharon followed Callie gaze and smiled again. “And you certainly have become close to them all too!”
“Yea…” Callie hesitated. “Well I better be off so I can get some coffee before I start attacking the table like the guys after not eating for an hour.”
