sorry... i am thinking everyone will just have to wait till next week for the next part...me posting this is me giving you all a huge hug before i leave!!!........comment and appreciate please Callie had no clue when they were planning on meeting up later that night. It was supposed to be casual, but she did not know what to wear. SO of course she found herself banging on Alex’s door, trying to get some help. “Why are you asking me?” questioned Alex, giving her a playful smile. “Oh…”she pretended to ponder. “..because Sharon taught you so well,” Callie exclaimed and gave him a huge hug.
“Well you said it is casual, but fun….and you have to consider how much time you have to get ready,” said Alex beginning to get serious.
Callie stifled a laugh.
He continued without noticing: “And they will be here around seven which means…..”
“Seven!!!!” Callie exclaimed, “how do you know? They never told me.”
“Oh yea, sorry. Ryan, Keith, and Paul wanted me to let you know they would pick ya up around seven. Did I not mention that. Whoops.” He made a sheepish grin.
“That gives me practically no time to get ready!” she playfully punched him in the arm and stomped out of the room.
He called after her: “…for your date, right.” He laughed as she peeked her head back in the door.
“It is not a date!”
“Oh yea, keep telling yourself that.” He continued laughing.
“It can’t be a date, I am going out with Ryan, Keith, AND Paul. That doesn’t sound like a date, does it? A night on the town with three lads…” Callie tried to keep a straight face while Alex continued to tease her. But her mind started to wander. Callie started to think of how they each might pick her up for a date, how they each could fluster her just by looking in their eyes. How she sometimes stole side-glances at them when they looked away. She would open the door and each would walk in. Give her a kiss on the hand. And all the while she would be trying to keep her cool. Locking her legs so she would not fall if any of them winked at her. She did not want this to be a date. Correction, she could not have this be a date, but she secretly, somewhere deep down, had three strong and very different urges for it to be a date…
“Yep, I bet they are all wondering the same thing…” he answered, continuing to smile.
“Uggghhhh.” She groaned and ran to her room to get ready. About thirty minutes later the door bell rang and Callie begged Alex to get it for her. He graciously accepted, she thought he was just trying to be nice…
At 7:15 Callie stumbled down the stairs into the living room and heard lots of laughter. No one noticed her coming in the room except Alex. He gave her a mischievous smile. She noticed that Ryan, Keith, and Paul were all sitting down looking at old photo albums. Callie let out a small squeak and tripped noisily down the last five steps.
Callie tried to hold onto the railing and was able to catch herself before she hit the floor. She straightened herself up and turned her attention back to everyone staring at her. Their slight worry, from her falling, had all but left their expressions. They all started laughing uncontrollably.
“What’s so funny,” Callie asked coming up to where they were sitting.
This question made them all look up again. But this time the laughing stopped. Callie was wearing a short off-the-sleeve black dress. Her hair curled around her face and she smiled at them all.
“What is so funny,” she asked again, placing one hand on her hip. Alex answered for them.
“Well we were lookin’ at some old pictures, you know….from when we were younger.”
“Oh you were so adorable Callie,” Keith smiled, showing his dimples.
“Which ones did you show them!!” Callie almost lunged across the table separating them. “Please don’t tell me that you showed them That one…”
“Yep,” said Alex, almost looking proud of himself: “I showed them That one, you in…”
Paul held up a tiny photograph he plucked from the album, his deep blue eyes looked like they were about to overflow with tears. And he tried very hard to keep a straight face, but a huge grin twitched around his mouth. Ryan had his mouth completely covered to stop himself from laughing. And Alex and Keith were cracking up.
“UUgghhh I should have gotten rid of that years ago,” Callie grunted and tried to snatch away the picture. Paul held onto it tightly for a moment and gave her a smirk while she continued to pull with all her strength.
“Oh Callie don’t be silly, you know I have copies…”Alex said and began to laugh harder.
Callie tried to ignore him and groaned again as she let go of the picture.
“Do you lads all want to look at pictures all night or do you want to go out…”
Ryan, Keith, and Paul all glanced at one another and made their way to the door.
Ryan quickly held her by the elbow and walked her to the door in a formal joking way.
When they got outside Paul rushed past her.
“SO what do you think of my car,” he asked proudly, rubbing his fingers along the front. It was a dark black sports car, very sheik. "It is soo pretty Paul,” Callie answered.
“Pretty?” he scoffed. She only giggled in response as Ryan and Keith tried to explain the dynamics of it…
“I can only assume Paul will be driving ‘his little baby’..” said Callie with a laugh as they all approached the car.
“Shotgun!” yelled Keith.
“Ok …so I get to sit in the back with Callie…” Ryan said, looking very pleased. Callie turned toward him and smiled a little.
“Wait, um no! Ryan you can have shotgun. I got it on the way here you can have it now.”
“No, I had it on the way here,” Ryan prompted.
“No!”
“Yea!”
The argument continued like this for a couple of minutes.
“Why don’t you both sit up front with Paul, then you can stop arguing like an old married couple.” Callie said with a giggle and grabbed the door handle to the back seat. But, Paul was too fast and had already locked the door from the driver’s seat.
“How about a better idea. Callie you sit in the front with Me,” he unlocked the passenger door and motioned to it. She had already decided to be defiant to his suggestion but once again he was too quick. He walked around the car and opened the passenger-side door open for her.
Callie took her hands off her hips, deciding she was not going to resist the courteous act. She carefully moved into the seat brushing past the open door and Paul holding it. Callie could not stop what she did next. It was an unconscious gesture. It was almost if she could not control her actions. She sweetly said: “Thank you…”, and gently kissed him on the cheek….

It was a simple courteous gesture. Callie thought… But she regretted it immediately. Whatever the urge was that made her kiss Paul on the cheek also made her feel like a complete fool. Callie made sure not to make any eye-contact with Paul, but from the corner of her eye she could see a little smile on his face. She busily tried to put her seatbelt on. Still he stood there holding the door waiting for her to look back up at him. All she wanted him to do was close the door! After many moments he slowly and hesitantly shut the door.
Callie was now alone in the dark black sheik car. Through the tinted glass she could clearly see Paul practically skipping around the car to the driver seat, still smiling. But, Callie also saw Ryan and Keith standing in the exact same positions they were in from before she got in the car. Their mouth’s slightly agape.
Callie smacked her palm against her head at her foolish urge. She hoped it would not make anything awkward. But, more than anything she hoped and wished that she had decided against going out with the three of them tonight.
Her discouragement was interrupted by a slight high-pitched beep from the car as the drivers-side-door opened and Paul slid in. Callie took her face out of her hand and gave him the little sweet smile she knew he was waiting for. She quickly turned away from him and noticed that Ryan and Keith were no longer where she had last seen them. But, her question was answered by two simultaneous beeps from the car as the two back-seat doors clicked open.
The ride was awkward to say the least. Low, almost inaudible, music played in the background. But no one talked and the silence was almost unbearable. After only a few moments of driving, with the oblivious lack of conversation, Callie contented herself with turning her head away from them, and staring out the window. They all wondered what she was thinking as she nervously twirled one curled strand of hair between her fingers.
Paul, who had been oblivious to the silence (still smiling giddily), started nonchalantly talking about his new songs. Every once in a while Callie would break her stare to turn and nod at Paul, prompting him to continue talking…
Slowly they made their way into town and parked in front of a busy looking pub, it looked modern and friendly. Callie barely waited for the car to stop before she jumped out of her seat and onto the curb. She carefully smoothed her short black dress with her hands, a bit relived to be away from the awkward silence. But, just as quickly as Callie had jumped out of the car, so had Ryan. He walked up to her and carefully put one hand around her shoulder.
“So are ‘ya ready to have some great craic” Ryan smiled and pulled her closer. Callie stiffened a little but returned his smile.
“Of course!....” she hesitated, “…that’s why I’m here right?”. Callie phrased it almost like a question.
Ryan, Paul, and Keith chuckled a little and then all walked inside. Immediately once they were in the pub what Callie saw made her stiffen. But, Ryan was too fast for her and moved his arm from her shoulder to her waist, and pulled her in tighter, stopping her from leaving.
“You guys must be joking,” she said, choking on her words, and motioning to the numerous people dancing.
“Oh calm down Callie, we don’t have to dance if you don’t want to. We can just enjoy a drink…..for now…” Ryan smirked still holding her tightly.
They walked to a small booth between the bar and the dancing couples. Callie quickly slid into it and turned to see Ryan sitting right next to her. Keith and Paul traded glances and moved into the seats opposite them in a booth.
“I can’t believe you guys brought me here.”
“But, I never did get to dance with you before Callie,” Paul smiled from the other side of the table. Ryan chuckled loudly.
The four of them chatted casually about the show for a few minutes until a waitress came.
“What can I interest you lads in?” the waitress asked. They all turned to Callie, obviously noticing that the woman had not acknowledged her. The waitress let out a little laugh and focused her next comment on Callie:
“Oh, the gentleman at the bar” she motioned to a figure sitting comfortably on a stool, “already bought you a drink. He said that he hoped a simple Guinness would be to your liking.” The waitress showed the drink that she had behind a menu she was also holding. Callie let out a soft giggle and accepted the drink. They all turned to look at the man at the bar, who gave the slightest nod with his head and raised his drink towards them.
Callie gave the man at the bar a flirtatious little smile and wave and then distractedly twirled a strand of her hair.
“So…what can I get you lads…”asked the waitress again. They ordered their drinks, not taking their eyes off Callie slowly sipping her Guinness.
“Ok, you can get your drinks up at the bar in a few minutes,” said the waitress as she walked to the next table.
Callie could not help but blush uncontrollably as she stared down at her drink, sipping innocently.
After a few minutes she answered all of their glares: “What???” It was not necessarily a question but more like an exclamation to ease the tension.
“Oh nothin’…” said Paul in a gruff voice. “Could someone help me grab the drinks from the bar…” he added as he got up and walked away. Keith followed Paul to the bar, walking quickly to be able to catch up with him.
Callie felt horrible, and turned towards Ryan, “I am so so sorry, what did I do now…I always seem to make everyone be in a bad mood…I’m so sorry….” she started rambling but he quieted her will a smile.
“Oh Callie, you aren’t doing anything wrong…Trust me!” He moved closer to her in the booth and she rested her head on his shoulder.
Ryan let out a loud sigh and wrapped one arm around her shoulders again. “You already made Paul very happy…” he added, she could tell he was not smiling anymore.
Callie immediately picked her head off Ryan’s shoulder and found him looked down at her. Ryan’s deep, startling, and hypnotizing eyes looking straight at her.
Callie forced herself to look away, back down at her drink… “What do you mean?”
“You kissed him on the cheek, Callie, don’t you remember…”, she could tell he was smiling again.
Callie answered, stumbling on her words: “Oh yes, well…it did not mean anything…I was just trying to…well…I was just trying to say thank you for opening the door….I was only trying to be polite…” “Polite??” Ryan chuckled.
“Yes, just polite!!!” Callie insisted, but obviously felt like she needed to defend herself further: “…like if I asked you for a napkin or something…I would say thank you” Callie started trying to gesture with her hands to make a point. She looked back up at him and continued:
“…and anyway I was just joking!!!! And Paul Knows That!!!” Ryan smirked and pulled Callie in a bit closer with the one arm around her shoulders. “I still don’t think I fully understand…”. He playfully tossed her a napkin from the center of the table.
Callie let out a little giggle and looked up at Ryan again. He was grinning and his eyes were fierce. Fierce and ardent.
She tried to control her voice and said in a joking manner: “Oh, why thank you so much Ryan…I truly appreciate…” she hesitated and let out a little giggle at the napkin that was tossed on the table in front of her,“…the napkin”.
Ryan turned his face towards the table and casually tapped his cheek facing her with his one free hand. Callie giggled again going along with the joke. She leaned forward, still with one of his arms around her shoulders, to kiss his cheek. ….And she almost did…well in fact Callie would have playfully kissed the dark destroyer himself on the cheek if it had not been for him quickly turning his head towards her at this most inopportune moment…

Callie was too slow to stop her advance. And Ryan moved his face even closer when he turned his head. She could see the plain unhidden smirk on his face, she had thought nothing of it before. Before..before they kissed. Full, head-long, and wonderful. Callie felt no need to stop kissing him, none of the normal warning thoughts came to her mind. She expected herself to pull away…or think logically that Ryan was someone she barely knew. But, he was a friend…well, friends kind of… Obviously them kissing would make them something different, but Callie did not think about this. It was pure bliss, and she felt his arm pulling her closer and closer, she did not resist.
Time felt like it passed too quickly, she did know how long they kissed. But they were interrupted by a loud coughing noise coming from both Paul and Keith who had come back to the table. Callie quickly pushed away from Ryan’s chest but he held on for a moment longer to continue the kiss.
Callie sat back and Ryan moved his arm off her shoulders. She dared not look at any of them except Ryan, who continued smirking and winked at her.
Callie immediately chugged her Guinness, looking at Paul and Keith inconspicuously through the glass. Then she hid her face in both her hands….Uncomfortably resting both her elbows on the table. She was trying to hide from their stares, their conversation…she dared not move….
Ryan, Paul, and Keith all chatted awkwardly, making side-glances at her, and sipped their own drinks while she stayed in that position.
“Callie are you ok?” Keith asked after a couple of minutes. Callie hesitantly took her face out of her hands and looked up at all of them. As she had expected they were all looking straight at her, and probably had been the whole time. Her eyes were a little red, and she looked incredibly distressed.
“I didn’t mean too…I’m so sorry…” Callie flipped a piece of hair out of her face hysterically. She obviously felt like it was her own fault for the kiss, and she tried to find an excuse..“…see I was just trying to explain something to Ryan and…” she looked around at Paul and Keith trying to think of something, anything, to say..she blurted out: “choked!!”.. “Yes. Ryan was choking…” Callie repeated it trying to confirm it. … “Choking on…”…her eyes hysterically searched the table, and she saw the napkin. Callie immediately blurted out: “A NAPKIN! …yes. Ryan was choking on a ….napkin.” She hesitated realizing how stupid that excuse sounded.
Ryan started chuckling at the obvious way Callie was flustered. Although Paul and Keith also started laughing a wee bit. She looked up at them and noticed that they were all more relaxed now. She desperately sunk into her chair and hid her face in one hand. Callie grumbled weakly: “ Ugh.. I think I need another drink.”
Her comment made them all laugh a bit more and she smiled.
“Maybe Ryan should get you it this time…” Keith chuckled.
“Gladly!” Ryan said as he walked off towards the bar.
Paul’s questioning stare was beginning to get irritating and very uncomfortable after a few minutes.
“You know what Paul…we never did dance before, right?” Asked Callie with a bit of a smile.
Ryan sat back down and handed Callie her drink when Paul excitedly answered: “No!”
“Well…I was just thinkin’…”she hesitated and took a large gulp from her Guinness. “That maybe you three would like to dance…with those girls over there”. She motioned to a group of girls a few tables away.
The groups of 20- somethings had been staring at Ryan, Paul, and Keith since they first walked in. Callie of course realized this. The lads obviously did not…
Ryan, Paul, and Keith all looked over at the table Callie motioned to and the giggling became louder.
“Please…for me…” Callie insisted and gave them the saddest smile she could muster up.
They all hesitated except for Ryan who was already standing up again.
“Come on guys… it’ll be fun…” Ryan insisted, giving Callie a wink. She felt an immediate pang of jealousy, and she felt Ryan had done that on purpose. She took another large gulp of Guinness and focused on Paul and Keith.
“I promise….I will dance with all of you, but just do this one thing for me…I think they really want to dance with you.”
They all took advantage of her agreement and strolled over to their table. After about 30 minutes..and a few more calming Guinness’s Callie drank at the table the three of them came back. All looking hopeful that Callie would dance with them. But, the group of girls came over to the booth and flirtatiously begged for another dance. Callie giggled and answered the girls directly, not even looking at Ryan, Paul, or Keith: “They would love to dance…”. None of them could show their disappointment. They were whisked off to the dance floor…again.
This whole time Callie was thinking…thinking about the sudden and uncontrollable urge that had come over her. She was normally able to control herself!...Her heart continued to race as fast as her thoughts and she continued drinking Guinnesses. After Callie convinced the strangers that they could dance with the lads longer she drifted off to sleep for a little bit.
It was the first time she had felt calm that night…She was awoken by a soft palm on her forehead. But, she did not have enough energy, or willpower beyond her headache, to open her eyes. Callie was in a state of incoherent slumber. The voices and music surrounding her were muffled.
“Oh it looks like she fell asleep.” It was Keith’s voice, and she expected it to be him that slid into the booth next to her.
“And she didn’t even dance with us…” Paul sounded disappointed.
“…It looks like she had one too many drinks.” He chuckled. Paul sounded happy again, and Callie could not help a small smile from appearing on her sleepy face.
“Oh is she awake now…?” asked Ryan, obviously just coming into the conversation.
“Na I don’t think so…” Keith touched her forehead again.
“Maybe we should take her home then…” Ryan added.
“Yea”. Keith scooped Callie up in his arms and shifted his weight to hold her slender figure. She grumbled sleepily and rested her head against his chest. Keith let out a slight chuckle and followed Ryan and Paul to the car…

...sorry it has been a while No one argued this time about where they would sit in the car. Obviously none of them wanted to wake Callie. They still thought she was asleep, but she simply did not have the energy with so much Guinness in her to move. She was not necessarily sure herself if she was even awake. Every once in a while her eyes would slightly flutter open and everything was foggy, but no one noticed.
Keith sat with Callie and let her figure lay across the backseat. He held her upper body against his own chest and covered her in his jacket.
Still awake… or asleep she did not know. But she felt a warm hand across her forehead and cheek. Callie felt very comfortable, the urge to fall asleep was pulling her farther and farther away from consciousness.
But, her temptation was interrupted by voices muffled by soft music. Callie remembered where she was. She was in the car with Ryan, Paul, and Keith. She was being held by Keith, her eyes had the strength to flutter open for only a moment to confirm this.
Callie pushed the thought of sleep out of her mind while she tried to listen intently.
“Is she okay back there Keith?” Asked Paul.
“Yea, she’s fine.”
Ryan chuckled: “I think she had one too many drinks”
“…before or after you kissed her.” Paul interrupted angrily.
“Oh Paul, I don’t think you saw correctly. She kissed me. Didn’t ya know?” Ryan laughed again.
Keith looked down at Callie in her arms and let out a loud scoff.
“…she kissed me too,” Paul argued.
“Not in the same way” smirked Ryan.
“Sorry Paul. I think I get the girl…again.”
“Guys she is right here!!”…Keith interrupted from the back seat in a hush voice.
But, Paul was too angry to stop now. “You kissed her!”
“And she kissed back.” Ryan raised his voice trying to defend himself.
Callie shuffled in Keith’s arms and he tried to calm her by holding her tighter.
“...she kissed you back only to be polite…” Paul voice became louder.
“To be polite? Oh come one Paul. She kissed you to be polite. She even told me so…”
“You two talked? It looked like you were a bit busy kissing her the whole time.”
Ryan chuckled at Paul’s comment.
“Well she obviously regretted it Ryan,” said Paul in a gruff voice. When Ryan did not respond he continued:
“Yea that kinda ruined the whole night. And she tricked us into dancing with those other girls.”
“Hey I had fun! I got a bunch of their numbers.” Ryan said with another chuckle.
“Ha ha! Of course you got their numbers. And lots of those girls were nice…but…but they just weren’t …”
“Callie.” Paul and Keith said at the same time.
“Yep, she’s kinda different isn’t she?” Ryan said without a hint of humor in his voice.
None of them answered, they were already back at Sharon’s house.
“I’ll bring her in…” mumbled Keith as he got out of the car. Keith walked slowly up to the door, still holding Callie in his arms.
Alex answered the soft bell noise and the door and looked at Callie’s state.
A broad grin came over his face: “I probably should have told you lads that she doesn’t drink often.” Alex laughed a bit.
“Yea, I think she had a few too many.” Keith looked down at her, seemingly fast asleep.
A loud noise came from the other room and Alex ran from the door with a roar. Keith followed, still holding Callie.
“Oh I totally just missed my team score.” Alex frantically waved his hands around.
“Umm……Alex?” Keith tried to get his attention.
Alex looked away from the TV and understood. “Oh sorry Keith. You can just lay her on the couch. When she wakes up a bit I’ll bring her to her room.” He quickly turned back towards the TV.
Callie felt herself drift in and out of sleep. Keith looked down at her, hesitating to place her on the large comfy couch. But, he knew Alex’s concentration on the TV would soon dwindle.
Keith bent down to lay Callie on the couch, but she groaned and almost seemed to hold on tighter. Shuffling slightly to hold onto one of his arms.
Keith could not help but let out a small giggle and sit on the couch next to her exhausted figure. Although it was the last thing he wanted to do right now, he knew he had to: Keith slowly pulled Callie’s arms off of his own. She groaned again but relaxed onto the couch, tightly grasping a pillow in a sleepy manner.
Keith gently brushed Callie’s hair off her face, and a slight smile trembled across her lips. If Callie was not asleep right now then she was close to it. Nothing was coherent except for slight un-even breathing and the sound of a muffled television in the background. He could not help himself, he slowly bent down and kissed her forehead.
Keith felt his urge had been foolish and he quickly stood up hoping Alex had not seen. Nope, he was still watching the television intently.
“Biya Alex, see ya in a few days at rehearsals.” He said quickly walking towards the door with one last glance at Callie on the couch. She was draped in his large tan coat and it made him smile.
“Yea see ya!” Alex waved him off, not even looking up as Keith skipped out the door, back to the black sheik car that had been waiting. ...please please comment!! it makes me update faster i promise

i try to update once a day..and i have been pretty diligent lately...lol!
Callie woke up slowly and looked around. Everything was a bit blurry from just waking up but she could tell she was in her room, on her bed. From past experiences she knew not to drink, she rarely ever drank and she was definitely feeling the aftermath of it.
Callie sat up and stretched, feeling incredibly nauseous. And the head-ache brought her crumbling back down to the bed, trying to fall back asleep. But, beyond the pain and uncomfortable stomach a very comfortable sensation came over her. Soft, subtle, smelling wonderful. She blew the hair out of her face with little effort and turned her head, searching. Callie noticed that a very familiar jacket was around her. A tan suede, worn-in, and very comfortable jacket. She tried to place it, but had no clue. She was also in the same small little black dress that she had worn out last night.
A sudden horrible feeling came over Callie and she tore away from her bed and straight to the bathroom. She could not help throwing up in the toilet, but felt much better afterwards and quickly got into the shower.
Although the hot water was very calming, it was incredibly unbearable for her present headache. Callie impatiently dried her hair and went back to her room.
She had a whole day before rehearsals would start. One free day, and she had no clue what to do. Callie quickly dressed in a casual t-poop and short dreams. Almost instinctively she put the tan jacket back on, and skipped out of her room.
“How are ya?” Alex asked as Callie plopped down at a seat at the counter in the kitchen.
She only groaned in response.
“Could I get ya something to eat?”
She rested her head on the counter and groaned again. “What happened last night? I don’t remember anything…”
“I can only assume you drank a little too much…why did you do that, you never drink?”
Callie felt herself getting a little angry now. “I don’t remember why! Obviously I don’t remember too much! And can you please talk a little quieter!!”…she hesitated for a moment “maybe I was just stressed or something. Maybe that’s why I drank?” She phrased it almost like a question.
Alex chuckled a little. “Stressed on your ‘date’ right?” He obviously emphasized the word ‘date’.
“IT WAS NOT A DATE!!”
“Ye?” Alex questioned. “Then why are you wearing Keith’s jacket??” He had a small smirk on his face.
Callie looked at the jacket, the sudden realization hitting her. The memories from the night before came flooding back. Paul, she sighed at the confusing gesture she made towards him. Ryan, ….Callie’s breathing became entirely uneven. And Keith, had he really kissed her before he left, or was that only a dream? And if it was a dream then why was she imagining that?!?!
She rested her head on the counter again, unable to defend herself from Alex’s questions.
“Can I get you some coffee or something?” Alex asked trying to be sympathetic.
“Please!” Callie grumbled.
Alex made some coffee and held a cup in front of Callie, waiting for her to make an effort to look up. When she did he asked:
“You aren’t going to stay inside all day are you Callie? It is a bit rainy but you have been workin’ hard for mum a while now…maybe you should go outside for a walk on the beach or something?”
“Ye, maybe I should…the fresh air might feel good,” she grumbled as she grabbed the coffee and made her way to the door. But, beyond her headache and sudden need for the caffeine she was holding she turned back around. “Alex thank you so much! It really great seeing you again, we used to be such great friends, and now I barely ever see you! …oh…” she hesitated while she changed her expression. “Oh and I will be getting my revenge for you showing Ryan, Keith and Paul That photo…”.
Alex chuckled loudly… “I’m sure you’ll try!”
Callie closed the door behind her and took and large sip of coffee. She looked around wondering which way to go, and finally decided to take Alex’s advice and go walking on the beach. It was a bit chilling today, and the air was damp and very foggy, but Callie enjoyed the coldness. It eased her head-ache a bit. She skipped down a narrow path of shrubbery to the beach and started trotting along past the large rocks that covered so many of the beaches in Ireland. She playfully would kick at the sand then systematically drank a mouth-full of coffee.
Callie felt much better, and sat down on a rock to enjoy listening to the ocean. But, she was suddenly interrupted from excited shouts coming from a section of the beach that was just past her view. Her head-ache almost disappeared with the sudden rise in curiosity and she got up to see what the noise was.
Callie carefully peeked around an enormous rock that was covering the view of the other side of the beach. The rocks she was standing on were damp from the cool air but she held her balance.
“You got it Paul!...You actually got it!”…it was a familiar voice. “Ha!” someone shouted excitedly. “I told ya I could…”
To Callie’s utter astonishment Ryan, Keith, and Paul were all standing on the beach only a few meters from her. All of them were wearing dark black wetsuits. Paul had a glowing and very accomplished look on his face as he rested a surfboard in the sand.
“Maybe next time ya might want to go for some bigger waves?” Keith asked.
“Hmm I don’t think so surfer boy…..” Paul chuckled, obviously joking, “I think I might need to grow my hair as long as yours to have the right wind dynamics or something.” They all laughed as Paul pulled at his wet locks of spiky hair.
Callie could not help but giggle from behind the rock and was immediately met with three pairs of eyes on her. She was so surprised she let out a small squeak and lost her balance on the wet stone she was standing on, and fell backwards.

hmmm? i wonder if there is a connection with lots of comments and me posting a whole 5 hours earlier than normal??? LOL! Jk! loved all the comments though, thanks “Callie, Callie are you ok?” She felt an arm gently lift her up to a standing position.
“You took quite a fall…again.”
Callie shook her head and opened her eyes, slightly dazed from her slip. She saw three beaming faces staring down at her. “No I’m fine, the rock was just a bit slippery” Callie looked at where she had fallen and noticed her coffee spilled out on the ground. She groaned at the loss and bent to pick it up. When she looked up again she noticed they were all still smiling. Ryan, Paul and Keith all wearing black wetsuits, unmoving from where they stood.
“What?” Callie asked defensively.
“Well we didn’t think you would actually come…” Ryan answered.
“Huh? What do you mean?”
“Alex told us that you would come and hang with us at the beach today,” said Keith.
The sudden realization hit her. Alex tricked her too take a walk on the beach… She groaned and looked away from them.
Paul continued, trying to make eye contact with her…“…yea well, we thought ya wouldn’t show up…after last night.” He flashed her a grin. His wet locks of dark auburn hair was striking against the black wetsuit. Callie could not help but stare and stumble over her next words:
“Well, um, I don’t remember anything from last ni-night…” Callie lied. She hoped that pretending she did not remember would make everything normal again.
“Don’t remember…”Ryan hesitated, “…anything?” He desperately had hoped for them to talk about their kiss from the other night. It had been so comfortable so wonderful. Although he had tricked her into kissing him, she had gladly gone along with it.
“No sorry,” she tried to look as innocent as possible.
The two of them looked increasingly disappointed. Obviously they all had wanted her to remember. The gesture she made towards Paul, the way she had kissed Ryan. But, Keith was still smiling, he had gotten to hold her when she was asleep, no regrets. “Well I probably should be going…”
Ryan, Paul, and Keith immediately interrupted:
“But, why?”
“You just got here…”
“But, Alex said….”
“I know Alex probably said some things…but they were all lies.”
Callie started walking back down the beach hoping she had disappointed them again. But, suddenly the need to push them away escaped her. Callie quickly decided to walk back to where they were standing, shocked.
“Sorry, I think that may have been a little rude. I have a horrible headache.” She pushed a disorderly piece of hair out of her face.
“What I meant to say was that I just remembered I am really busy today, and I thought I should come down here to tell ya.”
“Ok Callie…” Keith flashed her a dimpled smile.
“So you really don’t remember anything,” Ryan asked again, prompting her to remember.
“No, I really don’t. Is there something I should remember?” She innocently cocked her head to one side. She let her expression fade to embarrassment. “I didn’t do anything foolish did I? Or say something foolish?”
“No, no not at all.” Paul said trying to comfort her.
“Oh ok!” She shrugged it off, trying to hide a guilty little smile.
“Well I am sure we all had great craic right?”
“Yep it was great craic!” answered Keith, still smiling.
“Well I should really be going. I got some errands to do for Sharon today.” Callie gave them a huge smile. “I’ll see you all tomorrow at rehearsals then!...I wish I could stay longer, it would be nice to hang out with mi’ friends for a day…” She strongly emphasized the word ‘friends’. Callie felt a strong need not to get to close too them…it was the only way…
But, beyond her hesitation she gave them each a huge hug. They were all very comfortable, she felt safe while she was with them, but dangerously exposed. Everything about them invited her to be with them…be affectionate. But, everything that she knew told her to be cautious.
After that she quickly skipped off down the beach, cursing herself to hugging them. But, once again she found herself running back to them. Ryan, Paul, and Keith were strangely still standing where they were, she had expected them to have gone back to surfing.
But, as she ran back for this final time she saw the smiles on their faces. They were amused at her obvious confusion and forgetfulness.
“Yes?” Paul asked jokingly.
But, Callie ignored him, focusing on Keith: “I am so sorry, I forgot to give you your jacket back.” She started unbuttoning it to hand it to him.
“Oh you can keep it,” He smiled at her, his eyes twinkling. “It looks better on you anyway.”
Callie could not help herself from blushing, but she gladly accepted the gift. She had grown strangely attached to the jacket and she wrapped her arms around it.
Callie started walking back down the beach and quickly turned around, continuing walking backwards: “…and congratulations on learning how to surf Paul.”
Paul beamed at the comment from her.
“Bye Ryan!” Callie shouted with a little nod and a smirk. She slipped slightly on a wet rock but caught herself. Callie could hear the loud boisterous laughter. Once again they were amused with her little quarks.
“Callie! You Okay?” Paul shouted from the other side of the beach, obviously laughing.
She shouted: “Yep” without turning to look back at them, and kept walking away. ...please please please comment and tell me what you think! good or bad comments! ....it makes me update faster i promise !!! ;D

well here ya go!... i might be able to have another one up by tonight??? MAYBE THOUGH! Ryan, Paul, and Keith watched Callie walk down the beach out of view. They were all still smiling, expecting her to run back, still flustered, and say something else. But she didn’t…
They started walking back to where they rested their surf boards on the beach.
“I think I’m gonna head back to the house now.” Paul said outloud, breaking the silence.
“Yea me too.” Ryan seemed a little downtrodden.
“I think I am gonna go surfing for a bit longer see ya guys later.”
Keith said as a picked up his board and ran towards the ocean.
Ryan and Paul walked down the beach in silence for a long time.
“You don’t think she actually forgot about last night do you?” Ryan asked. He had obviously been thinking about it the whole time. Paul could not help but smirk.
“Yea mate I think she forgot about everything…Even when you kissed her.”
“Hey, she kissed ME!”
“Keep telling yourself that, but ya know it’s true. You kissed her…”
“Yes, but she kissed back!” Ryan started to raise his voice.
“So you admit it! You kissed her!” Paul smiled at the revelation but cringed a bit.
“Yes!” Ryan seemed almost proud about it. After a lengthy silence he continued in a mischievous tone: “And you know what got me to kiss her right…”
“No, why would I know?...” Paul let his voice drop to a whisper and mumbled: “If I was there I would not have let it happen though…”
“You actually helped me out Paul.” Ryan smirked. Paul turned his head, completely shocked.
“HOW??” Paul almost shouted.
Ryan laughed and continued: “I told her how the way she kissed you on the cheek implied something else…how you would over-think it.”
Paul had a horrified shocked expression on his face. It was not exactly a lie, Ryan was thinking, more like exaggerating the truth.
“And I convinced her to kiss me on the cheek…all very innocent I assure you Paul.”…Ryan chuckled. “Well, until I turned my head when she was about to kiss my cheek.”
Ryan’s smirk was met with red hot anger from Paul.
“I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU DID THAT!!” It was almost a scream. “You can have any other girl!”
“Yes, and I think it is my decision that I want Callie.” Ryan turned to Paul, very seriously.
“Oh you must be joking!..” Paul stuttered. “Any girl but Callie!”
They were now staring at each other face to face on the beach.
“Oh come one Paul you must know at this point that there is no turning back, I am intrigued.”
“INTRIGUED!!” Paul screamed again!
“Yes, and if you weren’t so distracted with staring at her the whole time you would of noticed that Keith likes her too.”
“Well maybe.” Paul admitted, “but not as much as I do!” He was starting to act defensive.
They started walking down the beach again, letting their thoughts drift.
“What is it about her….” Paul asked in almost a whisper. Ryan understood what he was implying…“She is intriguing…simply odd.”
“Odd?”
“Yes Paul,” Ryan hesitated. “She is odd, very different from anyone else.”
“Yea.”
Ryan continued, forgetting Paul was right next to him. “She is so pretty, but more than that.” He hesitated again. “Stunning?”
“Yea. I just can’t get my mind off of her…It is almost like…”
Ryan stopped walking and turned towards Paul very seriously. “Don’t say it!...”
“Say what?” Paul got defensive again.
“You were about to say that you are in love….don’t say it Paul! You are such a romantic sometimes…” Ryan grunted and started walking down the beach again.
…Paul ran alongside him to keep up. “Well what about you? You got to kiss her…do you think you are in love?”
“I don’t fall in love Paul! I like girls, that’s it! It’s not my style….anything permanent and secure.”
“Yea, maybe your right. It seems like I won’t have too much competition from you then. It is not as if she even remembers kissing you.” Paul grinned.
“Yea, I wouldn’t bet on that Paul.” Ryan mumbled, letting his face drop. He touched his lips softly with his one free hand. He remembered the kiss. He remembered it perfectly, every single moment of it. And the happiness from the night before came flooding back as a small smile spread across his face.
OK!!! please please comment! any little thing makes me very happy and it gives me inspiration! .... it makes me update faster i promise!

...sorry it has been a really really long time!!!! here is my apology gift to you (see below, lol! ) Callie carefully balanced the tray of tea as she walked down the hallway to the door to the main theater. Each cup was complemented by a post-it with various names of the crew and lads. Callie hoped that she had not messed up any of the orders and she also hoped that she would not drop the tray before she handed out the drinks.
Callie could see a large crowd around Sharon in the theater through a window in the door. Very carefully she tried to balance the tray with one arm as she reached out for the handle. Just as she started open the door she was grabbed from behind.
Callie tried to let out a scream but a hand was around her mouth.
“Shhhh Callie! You don’t want to get me in trouble do you?” Ryan said from behind her. He balanced the tray of tea in one hand and balanced Callie upright again.
“What was that for?”
Ryan smirked at her question as he started taking some of the cups of tea in his arms.
“What do you think you are doing, I have to hand those out to people…” Callie defiantly put her hands on her hips.
“Oh come on. Help me out, just this once…I’m a bit late and I need some excuse.” Ryan looked up from sorting the cups and gave her a pitifully pathetic smile.
“Okay, how can I help?” Callie asked giving in. But, she was answered by the tray being shoved into her arms. She gave him a questioning stare.
“See Callie, if it looks like I helped you carry the cups of tea, then I’m not late. Ya see?”
Ryan held the door open for Callie and they both walked into the theater. They were met with stares from everyone.
Ryan looked completely innocent, and was smiling broadly: “I thought I should help Callie with the tea, we don’t want her dropping it again, do we?” His comment was met with chuckling and laughing from everyone, even Sharon. Ryan unnoticeably turned around and gave Callie a wink.
Sharon interrupted the laughter: “Ok time to get back to work. And as I said, we have deadline.”
The group broke up and started walking away. Callie was able to hand out almost all of the drinks she was holding before they dispersed. She looked down and realized she had three more cups, they were labeled “Keith”, “Paul”, and “Ryan”.
Callie looked over and saw Ryan talking with Sharon and decided against interrupting them. On the other side of the theater Keith waved her over.
When Callie got closer she noticed he had some sheets of music and was singing.
“Save me from all the trouble and the pain. I know I’m weak, but I can't face that girl again.”
Callie tried to be as silent as possible, not wanting to interrupt him.
“Tell her the reasons why I can't remain, Perhaps shell understand if you tell it to her plain.”
His voice was almost hypnotic, but she had almost decided to come back later when he was done but then realized her had gotten quiet.
“Hiya Callie!”
She looked up at Keith’s beaming smile and adorable dimples. “Hi Keith” She was flustered for a moment and then continued: “…oh here’s your tea.”
“Thanks!”
Callie turned around to walk away but quickly decided against it at the last moment, facing Keith: “That song sounds wonderful!” “Ya I like it a lot too, it is Castles in the Air by…”
“Don McLead…” They both said at the same time. Callie giggled and returned his smile.
“Well ya know I will be playing my guitar on stage for this song…” “Really, that’s so cool Keith! I have never heard you play your guitar before…well I have never heard you play live before…”
“Well anytime…I would love to let you listen to some of my songs sometime if you wanna?...” Keith looked back down at the sheets of music he was holding.
Callie smiled back at him as an affirmative answer but he had not seen it…
Keith mumbled, still not looking up: “Of course there is no pressure if you don’t want to…”
“Of course I do Keith!!” For once Callie was genuinely happy, nothing telling her to hide… “I would love to listen to some of your music sometime…”
He quickly responded by smiling back at her, but her back was already to him, walking away. She called over her shoulder:
“Anyway I’ll see ya later!”
Callie spotted Paul nearby and started walking over to him. He was looking at something in his wallet, but then placed it back into his jean pocket and withdrew papers from where they had been laying on the ground.
When Callie got closer she realized that he was lightly humming a song and tapping his foot. Once again she tried to avoid any disturbance and she placed his cup of tea on a nearby table. She made sure to get his slight attention at where she put it. Paul nodded, flashing her a smile and a wink.
Callie had only one cup left, Ryan’s. She searched the theater from where she was standing and let out a loud groan when she noticed he was on the complete opposite side.
Paul chuckled but did not look up when Callie glared back at him.
“So why were you late?” Callie asked Ryan coming up behind him abruptly and leaning her shoulder against his.
He let out a laugh: “Oh ya know. Just woke up late, and ran a bit too much.”
“Should I believe that?” They were both looking down at a the sheets of music he was holding, not making eye contact. But, they were both smiling.
“No, you probably shouldn’t!” Ryan chuckled.
“Paul and Keith told me that you weren’t there when they woke up…” Callie questioned, lying completely.
“Ha! They told you that. Yep that is true.”
“Well no, they didn’t tell me that, but you just did.” Callie laughed and Ryan looked up at her for the first time, admittingly falling for her trick.
“Well why does it matter?”
“Oh come on Ryan. You practically tackled me in the hallway, almost making me spill a tray. Did you have a date or something??...was it with one of the girls from two nights ago?”
Ryan’s face became very very serious: “No of course not! And I thought you remembered nothing from that night!”
She coughed silently to be able to hide she face with one hand. It passed through her mind for a moment to tell Ryan the truth. To admit to remembering the whole night, and their kiss. That is what he really wanted, he wanted to talk to her about the kiss. But, she quickly pushed that idea out of her head, it was crazy to think that way!
“no…,” she giggled but her voice was obviously stressed. “Paul told me…”
“Oh ok…” he mumbled a defeated sigh.
“So what is the real reason you were late then?” Callie smiled towards him.
“I knew it!”
“You were late!” Paul and Keith had walked across the theater and were standing near them now.
“Do you all really want to know?” A mischievous smile spread across Ryan’s face.
They all nodded.
“Well my old car is back in the Moy, and Paul is the only one with his car here so I was thinking to get some new wheels.” He hesitated, waiting for the suspense to grow… “…and I got a motorcycle.”
“Are you crazy?” Keith asked, incredibly surprised.
“That isn’t something you should just do on a whim…” argued Paul.
But, Ryan shrugged off their comments and looked at Callie. She was smiling giddily. She looked hysterically happy: “That is so awesome Ryan!”
“I thought you might like that.” He winked at her. “If you ever want a ride…”
“No!!! That is way too dangerous.” Paul interrupted.
“Are you kidding me!?!? Of course I would love a ride on a motorcycle!” Callie said, trying to keep her voice calm, but the excitement was obviously there.
“Callie think about this rationally, you could get hurt” Keith added.
“Don’t worry, I’ll be careful…I won’t go too fast.” Ryan smirked and then turned his attention to Callie, “How about today? I can give you a ride back to Sharon’s house after rehearsal.”
“That soon? But you don’t even know how to ride it yet…” Paul argued.
“Today is perfect!” Callie exclaimed and turned towards Paul, once again angry at his protectiveness: “…and I think I can judge what is safe on my own, thanks!” With that she smiled at all of them and skipped off towards Sharon.
Keith turned to Ryan: “You aren’t seriously going to let her on a motorcycle are you?”
“She isn’t getting on that motorcycle if I have anything to say about it.” Paul said through gritted teeth.
“Yep! Don’t worry I’ll go slow.” Ryan said with a smirk, “…anyway, the slower I go on the motorcycle, the longer she will be holding onto me…”
....yes ryan on a motorcycle, tell me what ya' think ....please please comment!!, hmmmmm? and i may have an update up tomorrow, let us see what the comment shall say ?

Here ya go: a happy george donaldson thursday present “Sorry, I know I said I would but…” Callie hesitated.
“I’m kind of scared. I haven’t ever ridden on a motorcycle before.” She explained. They were all sitting at a table in the designated eating area outside the theater.
“But Callie…you were so excited earlier…” Ryan said, obviously hurt and taken-aback by her decision.
“I know Ryan. But….”
“Hey, Ryan don’t push her if she doesn’t want to!” Paul exclaimed with a smile.
“Maybe another time I’ll let you give me a ride on your motorcycle. But, not today…” Callie said to Ryan giving him an apologetic smile.
“Oh Callie, you don’t have to apologize at all!! If you don’t feel comfortable on a ‘metal death contraption’” Paul chuckled, “then you don’t have to go on it.”
Everyone started eating their lunch silently except for Paul who continued talking:
“So Callie did you hear the news? Did Sharon tell you yet??” “No. What news?” Callie asked.
“Sharon decided to move up the day we are leaving for the tour! We are going to be leaving in only 3 weeks instead of a month in a half!...” Paul sounded very excited and had the biggest grin on his face. “…And we are going to New York City for a whole week.”
“Oh I can’t wait to go to the NBA store on 5th Avenue!” Ryan added.
“Going to the city should be great craic!” said Keith.
They all started talking about New York City until Paul noticed Callie silently nibbling on her bagel.
“Hey Callie aren’t you excited to go to New York before the tour starts?” Paul asked.
She looked away from them, not wanting to make eye contact. “Well…honestly…I’m not exactly sure if I am going…”
“Wait?? What do you mean?” interrupted Keith.
“You said you were going to be Sharon’s assistant throughout rehearsals AND the tour…” Paul added.
“Well…nothing is official or anything, I haven’t really talked to her yet.” She looked back up at them and saw the mixed emotions in their eyes.
“But, Sharon wants you to come!” Paul said, “...just ask her and then everything will be ok!!”
Callie only nodded.
“Well, how about you ask her right now!...” Paul insisted, “just walk up to her and ask right now!” He jumped up from his seat and grabbed her by the hand. “Come on Callie!” Paul lifted her out of her seat and guided her towards Sharon on the other side of the eating area.
“Ok I’ll ask her,” Callie blurted out, trying to pull away from Paul’s all-too-comfortable hold. When she was a little farther away she called back to the table where the three of them were sitting: “Oh I almost forgot to tell you. Ryan, Sharon said you had to stay a few minutes after rehearsals today because you came in late.” With that she skipped over to where Sharon and Phil were sitting eating lunch.
Callie only talked to them for a couple minutes. And Ryan, Paul, and Keith had expected her to come back over afterwards. But, she didn’t. Instead Callie left the room, they assumed she went back to the theater. But, their uncertainty was too great and they all decided to ask.
“Sharon, did you just talk with Callie?” Keith asked after they all walked up to where her and Phil were sitting.
“Yes Keith, she just had a question for me…”
“Well what’s happening? Is Callie coming on tour with us?” Paul asked, obvious worry in his voice.
Sharon looked up from her computer, suddenly concerned. “Why wouldn’t she be coming on tour? That is what we planned from the beginning?”
“Callie told us that she wasn’t sure if she could…” Ryan said.
“Well, I don’t know why she would say something like that. Unless she is having second thoughts about going on the tour. Did she say something to you lads, should I talk to her?” Sharon looked seriously worried.
“Oh no!! Not at all. We probably just misunderstood her or something!” Paul said keeping his cool.
Phil looked up from a newspaper he was reading from the other side of the table and said with a chuckle: “Well, maybe you lads better make sure she is coming or I fear none of you will have a good time on the tour!”
“What are you saying?” Paul asked, trying to hide a blush.
“Oh nothing, just something Damian told me.” Phil said with another chuckle.
With that Ryan, Paul, and Keith all went back to rehearsals.
Later that day after rehearsals ended Paul and Keith were causally talking in the hallway. Callie saw them from around the corner but instead decided to avoid the main door of the theater and went in a side door. Just as she had expected Ryan was standing alone in the theater, supposedly waiting for Sharon. Callie snuck up behind him and wrapped her arms around his neck.
“Surprise!!” She exclaimed with a giggle.
Startled, he turned around to face her. “Umm, hi?”
“Ready to go?” She asked with a smile on her face and brought her arms back to her side.
“Go where?” He still was very confused.
“You said you would give me a ride home back to Sharon’s house!”
“But you said you were scared.”
“Yes…I did say that, but Paul and Keith obviously did not want me to go on the motorcycle.”…“Not that they have any right to tell me what to do.” She grumbled to herself.
Ryan smiled a little and continued listening to Callie:
“And What if they had gone to Alex!! Alex always has acted like a big brother to me, a very protective brother, he wouldn’t of let me go! So we couldn’t let them think that you were still giving me a ride home. Do you see now?” Callie looked at him with a hopeful smile.
“Yes” Ryan said with a chuckle. “And so I can only assume Sharon did not want to meet me here and you planned the whole thing”
“Yep!” Callie seemed a little ashamed of herself for a moment but then quickly became excited again. “…so we will have to go out the back door of the theater because Paul and Keith are still in the hallway…”
But she couldn’t finish her comment because Ryan was already pulling her by the hand to the back of the theater. Once he pushed open the door a flash of light spread across a row of seats at their backs.
They were both laughing and they ran across the parking lot towards the sleek black motorcycle.
“Wow Ryan!” Callie exclaimed when they stopped in front of it. He let go of her one hand and reached behind the motorcycle to grab something. When Ryan turned back around he faced Callie and pushed her hair out of her eyes.
“Are you sure about this?” He said with a grin.
“Yes Ryan! Of Course!”
Ryan put a large helmet on her and personally tightened the band under her chin.
“Ya ready?” Ryan asked as he swung one leg around the motorcycle and patted the seat.
Callie answered him by quickly sitting on the seat behind him. “You do know you will have to hold onto me…right Callie?” Ryan said shifting his weight to face her.
“Oh yea, I knew that…” she said with a blush. But no, that thought actually hadn’t passed through her mind. She had been caught up in the excitement of the moment.
Just then she heard loud noises from behind.
“Callie!!”
“Callie, what are you doing??”
Paul and Keith were on the other side of the parking lot and looked worried, they started walking over.
Without a second thought this time Callie wrapped her arms around Ryan’s waist and he sped off.
tell me what ya think!! tell me what you think! comment and i'll post faster!! lol!!

Hello to the peeps who read my story!! *hug* ....this post is a bit long, and kind of ...well...extreme..kind of ....tell me what you think! Ryan took the long way back to Sharon’s house, speeding past the scenery. Callie continued to hold onto his waist and at one point decided to rest her head on his shoulder. The heavy helmet was hard to hold up, and she was sure he would think nothing of it. But, when she leaned her head down his stiffened up and she felt the motorcycle jerk to a slower speed. She felt horrible, like she had made him feel awkward or something. Callie immediately, a little surprised by Ryan’s reaction, loosened her grip around his waist.
But Ryan just chuckled and said “Hold on now….I don’t want you fallin’ off.”
Callie was extremely relieved when they turned around a corner and saw the house. Ryan drove straight up to the porch, ignoring the grass. She immediately jumped off the motorcycle and turned to face him.
“That was amazing Ryan…completely exhilarating!!”
“I glad you had fun!” He said, smiling towards her. “Anytime you want to go on the motorcycle again just let me know!... Do you want my cell-phone number to call me or something?” He turned his head away towards his feet shuffling on the ground.
Callie giggled, forcing Ryan to look up, staring into her eyes. “Um Ryan…I think if I want your number I could always get it from Sharon…and I don’t think Paul or Keith will ever let me on that motorcycle again. Or even trust me again.” She couldn’t help but let out a sigh.
“It is your decision!” He chuckled.
“Well yes it is! But…” she laughed again, taking a step forward. “..for now I will just say thank you…”
He was still leaning casually on his motorcycle, but he leaned his head close to her ear, and whispered: “Your welcome…”. With a smirk he leaned back again and watched the flustered expression come across her face. He chuckled silently but she heard him.
Callie took one step closer to him to politely kiss him on the cheek. But, at the last moment she brought her hand to his chin to make sure he did not turn his head…again.
She did not even wait for a reaction, but instead swiftly turned around and skipped up the stairs of the porch.
“Hey Callie…” Ryan’s voice was serious and grave, making Callie turn around before she opened the door to the house.
“Yes Ryan?”
“You remember don’t you? You remember the night at the pub.” He took one step closer to her and away from the motorcycle.
“I don’t know what you are talking about Ryan…” Callie just then noticed her mistake. He had noticed…
Ryan was smiling now as he slowly started climbing the steps that separated them. “You remember the night at the pub. I know you do! You held my chin so I wouldn’t turn my head and kiss you!”
“N-no-NO….” But Callie was counting the steps between them. One-two more stairs then two large steps till he would be near her….
“You remember!” Ryan said again, still smiling. He cleared the last distance between them, and almost twirled her to the railing of the porch.
Callie hesitated, trying to decide whether she would tell him…“Yes…Ryan I…”
But, she was interrupted by Ryan pulling her closer to him and kissing her. Every passionate second drifted by too quickly. The emotions from their last kiss came flooding back. He was the first to pull away. Ryan looked down at her waiting for her eyes to open.
“…So why did you lie to me…why did you say you didn’t remember?”
The question made her eyes flutter open with the realization of what just happened. Callie pushed away from the strong arms that were surrounding her and turned away from Ryan. Again she had kissed him, again she regretted it. Well, maybe she regretted it, she didn’t know…
“Callie, we do have to talk…” Ryan said putting one of his hands on her waist as he came up to stand next to her. But she pulled away, not wanting him too see the tears that were forming in her eyes.
Just then they heard a car loudly pull to a screeching stop on the driveway.
“Callie!!”
“Callie are you okay??” Paul and Keith came running up the path in front of the house and stopped on the porch, noticing something was up.
Ryan was the only one to turn around and face them. “See guys, I brought her home in one piece…just like I promised.”
Callie blinked away the teardrops and wiped her eyes, hoping to hide the redness. She spun around to face everyone with a smile.
“Yes, I told you it wasn’t dangerous…but it was a lot of fun!”
“Was it fun enough for another ride right now?” Ryan asked, hoping to be able to talk more with Callie about what had just happened.
“No Ryan, I think I am a bit exhausted..” she said while she playfully punched his arm.
“Callie…” Paul said after a few moments.
“Yes?” She faced him, unconsciously taking a step away from Ryan. Ryan noticed.
“… we were wondering about what you told us earlier…about you not going on tour…” Paul looked guilty for a moment and continued: “…well, we kind of asked Sharon and…”
“You asked Sharon!” Callie screamed. “Why would you do something like that?”
No one answered her question, but Keith interrupted the silence: “she said she thought you were going unless you are having second thoughts now…are you?”
Callie turned away from them defiantly, trying to find a way to get into the house without continuing the conversation.
“Callie…” whispered Ryan; everyone could hear him through the complete silence. “Why are you having second thoughts?”
Callie felt like she was about to explode. She hated them for approaching her, but she loved them for that too. Loved, no, she didn’t believe in that. A more appropriate word would be: liked. Yes, she liked them, had some unknown and uncontrollable attraction for them. But, that is why she thought she shouldn’t be near them. Right now she had to hide, or push them away… Callie turned around, finally letting some tears fall. “Because I can’t go!” she screamed.
Immediately, noticing her pain, Ryan, Paul, and Keith took a step closer. Callie didn’t run immediately.
“Why not Callie?” Keith was the first to ask.
“I can’t because…” she looked down, away from the three pairs of hypnotizing eyes wanting answers. “…because I have a boyfriend!!!…” She lied. Their reaction was exactly as she expected. They looked sad, angry, and confused. Callie hated to see the pain on their faces, she cried more, covering her face with her hands. But, her lie seemed to have done what she wanted it too. It had separated her from them.
She continued mumbling though her hands: “…and I am scared I will miss him too much. Miss…” she hysterically tried to think of a name, any name to tell them. “…-miss Bobby. I don’t know if I will be able to go away for the whole tour without seeing Bobby.”
“Bobby?” Paul almost spit out his name.
But, Keith was trying to consolidate her. He hugged Callie and stroked her hair as she hid her blubbering face in his chest. If they only knew that she was crying about them….
“But how do we know you aren’t lying again?” Ryan asked quite bluntly. It was only then that Callie realized that he had barely reacted at her ‘fake confession’. Ryan was still caught up in the moment before Paul and Keith showed up.
Callie’s started crying even more, but pushed Keith away. “I can’t believe you would say something like that!” She screamed.
“…and why not!” Ryan turned his attention to Paul and Keith who were completely confused. “Oh didn’t you know? She remembered everything from the night at the pub!”
“Callie you did?” Paul asked.
She felt like everything was falling apart again, everything she had done to push them away didn’t work. Callie defiantly stood in front of Ryan, standing centimeters from his face.
“Why Callie? Why did you lie to me before?” Ryan urged the same question from before.
She spun around, looking at Paul and Keith and then turning back to Ryan. They weren’t going to leave without an answer. She would not be able to safely hide herself from them or her emotions.
She stepped away from Ryan, and walked towards the door. But, of course Paul and Keith had unfortunately been standing there since they had stepped on the porch. But once they noticed she was leaving they quickly stepped aside. Callie sighed, she had not expected her escape to be that easy. She reached out for the door-knob….
“Callie!” It was Paul this time, he sounded insistent. She could not believe that he was actually trusting Ryan right now. Wanting answers…
She hated to…the simple thought of it made more teardrops rush down her face. But, she turned to face them, already having opened the door.
“I Hate You! All of you!” she screamed, hating herself right more now than she ever had before. But she had to continue, for her own sake, she had to push them away. “I don’t want to be friends! Just stay away!!!”
Callie slammed the door and started crying uncontrollably. Her back leaned against the door, but after a moment her body crumbled to the floor.
Every bone in her body wanted to go back out to the porch and say something, anything. To go out there and apologize, to say she was lying, and that the last thing she wanted was to be away from them. Their faces before she slammed the door were indescribably sad and hurt by her comment. Callie hated herself for hurting them…
Just them she heard the door-bell ring, and shuffling voices outside the door.
Callie didn’t move. A few minutes later a loud knock came from the other side of the door.
“Callie….?” A voice called her name. A soft and sweet voice prompting her back outside. She wished that she had not gotten to know them well enough to know who it was. But it was Keith’s voice, she knew! She could hear the sadness in his tone…
But Callie still waited, she waited till she was sure they were gone. Ryan’s motorcycle hummed to life and Paul’s car sped off. She opened the door, while wiping the last tears from her eyes.
The evening was coming quickly and drifting into a darker night-time sky. Callie stepped out on the porch and looked out. The Thunder was reverberating off in the distance. She could see a storm coming in across the sky…

hi! *hugs the peeps who read my story*.... so like i promised i posted again today, well kind-of...i posted at 12:30 eastern..but i posted at least!!!!!.. ...*dances off to sit in a beanbag, waiting for comments* Callie did not come back to rehearsals. Alex and Sharon let everyone know the day afterwards. Supposedly she went for a walk and got caught in the storm. The cold rain and weather got her sick and she had to be rushed to the doctor, she had a mild case of pneumonia. Sharon and Alex found her when they got back home. Callie was violently sick, so much so that she had to stay in bed for a week in a half.
Ryan, Paul, and Keith did not visit or even call. But they did ask Alex to tell Callie that they hoped she got better soon. They asked Alex every day if she was getting better.
She was really sick now, obviously not lying. And the three of them felt horrible.
After the week in a half Sharon went off to Dublin for some meetings with the record company. The tour was coming quickly… The day Sharon left, Alex made the announcement that Callie had decided to come on tour. But, more importantly she wasn’t sick anymore and was coming back to rehearsals the next day.
Ryan, Paul, and Keith could not help but show their excitement. She had left in a rush, hidden from them again. They thought maybe she had changed her mind, or calmed down…they could only hope…
But, their joy didn’t last long. After rehearsals ended they got an urgent call from Alex. He had gotten home and found that Callie was not in bed-rest anymore. He frantically called Ryan, Paul, and Keith, unsure what to do or where to look.
Without even a second thought Ryan and Paul ran out the door. Alex was going to meet Paul at the doctor’s office. And Ryan rode off on his motorcycle to look around town.
Keith slung the guitar he had been playing around his back and walked out the back door. He didn’t know how everyone forgot. He casually walked down the beach until he saw….
He saw Callie sitting on a large blanket, looking at the ocean. Keith couldn’t help but smile at seeing her. And smile at the fact that she was wearing his tan jacket. It had been 10 whole days till he had seen her last. A whole ten nights filled with unpleasant dreams. Callie had been angry and what she said hurt more than he had expected. But, nonetheless he had still wanted to comfort her and stop her from crying.
But right now, on the beach, with no doors between them, he still stopped short. Keith remembered how angry Callie had been…and how angry she still might be…
Instead of walking up to where she was, he sat down on a nearby rock. Keith took the guitar off his back and started strumming is casually. He made sure to let his hair fall across his face so he could peak through it to see her…and watch her reaction without her pushing him away and running off.
Right after he started playing Callie looked up. She seemed surprised to hear anything but the sound of the ocean. Keith saw her turn towards him and the realization flash across her face.
Then she smiled, a shy smile that he had seen only a few times before. She wasn’t angry, or didn’t appear to be…anymore. Keith kept playing until the end of the song. He heard a soft giggle coming from Callie, who had turned back towards the ocean earlier in the song.
It was a laugh that he had missed desperately. Innocent and happy, it was her allowing him to come over.
Keith couldn’t hide the grin on his face as he walked over and sat down on the blanket next to her.
“Hey Callie…” He didn’t know how to start the conversation. “I know I promised that I would play for you sometime.”
She smiled at him, an uncontrollably happy smile. But she still seemed more shy than he remembered…more distant. And something was off, her eyes seemed sad…her bright blue-green eyes that never should of looked sad or angry…
But, just then she turned away. Callie uncomfortably distracted herself by rolling up the sleeves on the large jacket. Even looking at her sad eyes was better than not looking at them at all! But yes, she had looked away from his uncontrollable stare when he first sat down.
“Do you think I could hear another song?” She asked, pleading to lessen the silence.
He didn’t answer, but instead started playing again. A soft intro turned into a song he had started writing a few weeks earlier. Keith was barley mumbling the lyrics though; he let the guitar drown out his own singing.
“Her light shine with imaginative colors My heart jumps every time she hollers for me Heart of gold every time we wear the satellite I'm goin' to shine Shameless, shameless she makes me Careless like a breath she takes me Voo Doo underneath the tree bah-da-bing She makes me believe-a in me She makes me believe-a in me”
Callie shuffled uncomfortably and he started another song. Playing whatever came to his mind, and nothing in particular. But, he was not paying attention to what his finger’s played. Through his hair across his face he was staring at her…
When he finished playing the uncomfortable silence came back. Keith lay his guitar down next to him and moved over to sit closer to Callie.
Once again she looked up with her incredibly sad eyes, and Keith could not help himself. He pulled her close to him in a hug. She did not resist, she practically jumped into his arms and hid her face in his chest.
“It’s okay Callie…it’s okay…” he repeated over and over while he gently stroking her hair.
“I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean any of it…” She pulled her head away from his chest and looked up at him. But, she was really looking past him…past his eyes. “…you know I didn’t mean any of it, right?” “Don’t worry Callie, I know you didn’t mean any of it…” Keith hesitated for a moment. “ WE…all know you didn’t mean what you said.”
“Thank you…Keith…but some of what I told you was true…” Callie had planned this, she knew what she had to say, how to keep herself from getting too close to them. She hesitated for a moment before she let the lie come out. “…well I did have a boyfriend.”
The slight look of shock on his face was painful, but she continued: “the day I yelled at you guys was the day I told him I was going on tour…..” She hesitated again, trying to control her breathing. “…Bobby broke up with me…”
Keith coaxed her back into his arms. He wasn’t sure what emotions he was supposed to be feeling right now…
“Thank you…you are such a good friend to me…you know that Keith!” Now she looked at him, not past his concerned face. Keith was surprised at how her bright eyes lit up, she actually looked happy. And just as suddenly he found her eyes to be disappearing from his view again.
Callie, with a surge of happiness, practically tackled him with a hug. She held onto him tightly for a moment and then rolled to lay next to him.
Keith was laughing at this point, and Callie giggled along with him.
“And I’ll always be here for you Callie, never forget that!” Keith turned his head, continuing to laugh at the sudden hug he had just received. It meant more to him than she could have possibly realized.
He looked at her, his breath became uneven, uncontrollable. But, going along with the last thing he had said, he daringly reached out and grabbed her hand. At first he cradled her whole delicate hand in his, very friendly, very safe. But his impulses urged him further, he intertwined his fingers in hers. Callie’s hand was easily hidden within his own, but he could feel her there, feel the spark and passion…
“And that’s all I need right now…just some good friends…” She continued giggling not noticing Keith had gotten uncomfortably quiet at her comment.
She was relishing in a good mood and did not notice how serious Keith had gotten. Not noticing that he was now facing her as she looked upwards at the stars beginning to appear in the sky.
She lay next to Keith on the blanket, just smiling…
Then Callie turned towards him with another brilliant smile, and her bright eyes shining. She squeezed his hand comfortingly, still enlaced in her own.
“Do you think I do hear another song Keith?”
Once again he didn’t answer her question, but sat up and grabbed his guitar. He hesitated for a moment because he didn’t want to release her hand. But, she sat up and smiled again, bigger than he had ever seen before, pleading him to play.
Keith felt her move the hand she held and place it on the guitar. He curled one finger around the tight metal wiring to stop himself to reaching out for her hand again.
With one sigh he tried to control his breathing and his pounding heart that was louder more turbulent than the irish ocean. Keith started singing the same song from earlier:
“Her light shine with imaginative colors My heart jumps every time she hollers for me Heart of gold every time we wear the satellite I'm goin' to shine Shameless, shameless she makes me Careless like a breath she takes me Voo Doo underneath the tree bah-da-bing She makes me believe-a in me She makes me believe-a in me”
ok, so the song was not gonna be in this part but i was listening to it and it just kind of fit perfectly..kind of... and yes. it is an original keith harkin song... ----> link below www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQpOJHOCy8Y~tell me what you think!!! pretty please!!! .....just imagine keith giving you sad puppy dog eyes....he wants you to comment!! lol ;D

sorry, i haven't updated in a while....and you know what kind of blew my mind... my view count, holy cow! .now i feel really guilty about not updating....here ya go Callie felt extraordinarily better after talking with Keith. But, she was still hesitant to go back to rehearsals.
Walking into the theater the next day she nervously grabbed a hold of Keith’s arm. He smiled down at Callie and pulled her closer, comforting her. It was safe to say that Callie considered Keith a very good friend of hers. He was like a best friend, someone she could be a little more open with, and talk to.
Lots of friendly familiar faces came up to her immediately. They all seemed to ask if she was feeling better.
Keith saw Callie’s expression as everyone came up and he swiftly came to her rescue. “Whoa everyone… she is feeling better, but she did have pneumonia, so she won’t be feeling 100% for a little while.”
As the crowd started to walk away Keith smiled down at Callie again, but noticed she looked terrified. He followed her gaze and noticed Paul and Ryan walking up the aisle of the theater towards them. Callie held his arm tighter.
Keith bent down and whispered into her ear, brushing his blonde stumble against her cheek: “It’s ok Callie, they understand. I told them what you told me.”
She let out a slight sigh, but stiffened when they approached them.
“Hey Callie are you feeling better?” Paul asked with extreme worry on his face.
“Yea, I’m feeling a bit better.” Callie mumbled towards the ground.
The tension was everywhere it seemed. Callie felt guilty for screaming at them, and they felt guilty that they had caused her to be angry with them. Especially Ryan, he thought he himself had made Callie angry because he had kissed her on the porch. She did not resist, but Ryan thought that maybe she was only mad at him.
“Good!” Paul said boisterously, actually believing Callie’s whisper. “Because we don’t want you to feel sick when we leave for New York soon!”
Callie peeked up from the ground to seeing Paul grinning at her. “So Keith told you I was going on tour?”
“Yes, and we are all very excited!” Paul seemed to ignore that fact that Callie still hadn’t looked up. “…Oh and sorry about your boyfriend. Keith told us about that too.”
“Oh…” Callie mumbled as she started blushing uncontrollably. She felt a lump grow in her throat.
“Trust me Callie…” Paul became serious and stepped forward. He lifted her chin to look into her eyes clearly. “…he was stupid to give you up.”
Callie hadn’t noticed until now, but she had continued holding onto Keith tighter and tighter during the whole conversation. Keith, yes the one she was so comfortable with, had not pulled away. But, she reminded herself to stay away from getting too close. So once Paul had let go of her chin she immediately jumped away from Keith’s arm.
Callie smiled at all of them and said: “It’s ok, I’m over Bobby…” She gritted her teeth, reliving the lie and remembering the details she had told them. Once again Callie wanted to admit to them that she was lying but then she would have to admit why she was lying...what made her try to push them away… “…and I just wanted to say that I am really sorry.”
She awkwardly stepped forward and held out her hand. Callie felt like she had to make some type of friendly gesture, and at the moment this is all she could think of.
Ryan traded glances with the other lads before he stepped forward. His own guilty expression made Callie feel horrible. But, they shook hands…awkwardly….
Then she turned towards Paul, offering to shake his hand. He just smiled at her and pulled her in for a big hug.
He held her tightly, and the tension lessened a bit.
When he let go of her, Callie felt a little dizzy, but didn’t let herself grab onto Keith again. Instead she waved goodbye to them all and went off to help Alex with some tour preparation.
Later that day Callie happily sat down to lunch with Ryan, Paul, and Keith. Everything seemed back to normal again… even better than normal. She thought that for once they could just be friends.
Callie secretly smiled to herself as she nibbled away at her lunch. But, eating anything was still really hard because she was still sick.
Ryan was guiltily staring at Callie from across the table. But, when she looked up he would look away. Yes, everything was back to normal, except for Ryan. He still blamed himself for Callie getting angry and sick.
Keith and Paul suddenly became very excited and ran from the table. Callie turned to see where they were running off, and giggled when she realized that someone had brought in a tray of cupcakes. Of course Paul and Keith were already chasing after the tray!
Callie thought this would be the perfect time to break the tension between her and Ryan. She turned around to smile at him. He stared back at her, not smiling. He angrily pushed away his chair and started to walk away, or at least she thought.
But, Ryan really walked past Callie, grabbing her by the hand. She was so surprised that she stumbled behind him before she caught her balance.
“Ryan where are we going??” She asked with slight hysteria in her voice.
“…I have to talk to you…” He mumbled angrily and tightened his grip around her hand.
Once they entered the hallway Ryan turned around abruptly and Callie bumped into him.
He just stood there with his arms around her and his face centimeters from hers. Moments passed and neither of them talked. Ryan just stared at her, a million emotions passing behind his hypnotizing gray-blue eyes.
Callie felt incredibly uncomfortable with him just holding her, not saying anything. She looked away from him and brought her hands to his chest to try to push herself away…but them he spoke.
“Callie…” it was almost a whisper. Ryan stepped away and staring pacing nearby and muttering. “You know I am not just the bad boy right?”
“What?!?! What are you talking about?” Her breath became uneven at the way he was acting.
“I am not always the character I play on stage… I can be sensitive, I can be there…for you”
“Don’t talk like this Ryan, you aren’t thinking right…”
He immediately held onto her again, passion flickering in his eyes. A slight hysterical chuckle came from his lips. “Callie, I have never been more sure in my life!”
It got quiet between them again., and he just stood holding her. “Ryan…”
But he interrupted her: “Could we ever be together, nothing serious or anything for now…but…”
Callie turned away from Ryan, it was what she feared, exactly what she didn’t want to happen. But, at the same time she wanted to turn around, kiss him, and say ‘Yes’ a million times over. She would love to be able to not run away from him.
But, he turned her around to face him.
“Ryan….I….”
He saw the hesitation in her face. “Just think about it for a moment…I want you to be my girlfriend…my only girlfriend…” “Ryan…I …don’t….”
“At least tell me it could be possible….maybe” His eyes pleaded for her to answer.
“…maybe…” she repeated, barely over a whisper.
But that was enough for him. He practically twirled her around in his arms and held her tightly. When Ryan let her feet touch the ground again they were both smiling. But, Callie was more surprised than anything.
Ryan brought his face closer to hers and leaned in to kiss her lips. But he blushed slightly and repeated what she had said before: “maybe…” Without any hesitation he kissed her on the cheek with a slight chuckle.
Once again he held her hand, this time entwining his fingers in hers, and walked back into the room.
ok...so this is kind of a weird badly written extreme and random part...but it leads to other stuff that will come up soon...and don't worry (for some people).. the other lads are going to become much more prominent soon *evil giggle* ~~but, pretty please, please comment

ok, i wrote this at 2 in the morning....enough said ...oh yea and this is a really really long post!. sorry ;D Later that night Sharon called from Dublin to say that everything was in order for the tour. In nine days they were going to drive to Dublin and then fly to New York. Callie suddenly felt exhilarated at the news. She couldn’t help but smile trying to imagine how much fun it would be.
Her heart started racing simply trying to imagine life on the road and concerts almost every night. She no longer was content reading the book she had before the call. Callie wanted to see her friends, her good friends, because that is what they were to her…
Callie couldn’t help but imagine Ryan, Paul, and Keith’s reaction to the news. She thought about calling them but then what would she do after. She wouldn’t be able to see their reactions and she was too excited now to do anything else to pass the time.
Without a second thought Callie grabbed her tan coat--actually Keith’s rather large coat-- and skipped out the door.
It only took her about 20 minutes to walk to the house where the lads were staying during rehearsals. It started to rain slightly on her way there, but she barely noticed the cold drizzle.
Callie started shivering the moment she rang the door bell, but she was still too exhilarated to care much.
“Hiya Callie!” Damian answered the door with a big smile.
“Hi Damian, I just came over to tell….”
But she was interrupted by almost a scream coming from somewhere in the house: “Wait? What? Callie’s here?...” She heard loud shuffling noises and Damian was immediately rushed at the door.
Keith and Ryan stood there practically out of breath trying to smile coolly. Keith casually leaned against the door and Ryan had his arms crossed and was standing in front of Damian.
Then she heard more loud shuffling and Paul ran into the doorway. He stopped short and almost fell over trying to slow down. Paul busily fixed his hair with his hands as he looked up.
“Hi Callie, what a wonderful surprise!” Paul exclaimed, trying to catch his breath.
Damian chuckled from behind Ryan, Paul, and Keith and walked away.
Callie just beamed at them, she was in a strangely good mood and seeing them actually put her at ease for once…
“Sharon just called and I have some good news I have to tell everyone.”
“What’s the news??” Keith asked energetically, still leaning against the door.
“She told me that in nine days were are going to drive to Dublin and fly to New York, we have a flight at four in the morning so we will have almost a half a day just to enjoy the city!”
They were all still smiling, but they seemed less than happy about the very early flight.
“Oh come on guys, it is going to be a lot of fun. An early flight isn’t too bad…I know I’ll probably be sleeping all the way there…just a warning to the person I sit next to: their shoulder may become my pillow!” she giggled a little at her joke, not noticing the lads trade glances.
“Have you ever been to New York Callie” Keith asked, still leaning casually against the door.
“Nope!” She was still so excited that she jumped a little. “I have never been there before, that is why I am so excited I think.”
“Oh I definitely have to show you some cool places in the city!” Paul exclaimed.
“Me too” Ryan and Keith said at the same time.
“So we will have a busy day then!...But you don’t have too hang out with me if you don’t want too…” She smiled at them and giggled again.
“Of course not Callie…” Ryan said.
Keith interrupted: “…we want to!!”
Just then she noticed Paul staring at her worriedly.
“Callie you just got over pneumonia and you are out in the rain, please please come in.”
“Oh” she looked at the tiny spotted rain droplets on her clothes, “It’s not too bad out…and I probably should be getting back to the house.”
She heard one of them sigh sadly at her needing to leave but she didn’t notice who it was.
“You don’t expect to walk back in this weather?” Paul asked, being protective.
“It’s not that bad out…”
But Paul already had one arm around her shoulder and was pulling her inside. “Oh come on Callie, we just finished dinner and we were all going to watch a movie… you should join us.”
But she had no desire to leave. She was too happy and more than excited to be able to hang out with them more.
“I won’t be interrupting a ‘guy night’ though, will I?” Callie giggled. “I don’t want to intrude.”
Ryan, Paul, and Keith were incredibly surprised that she actually agreed. Paul actually let his arm drop from her shoulder and he walked off towards the kitchen. “Not at all Callie, George and Damian will be thrilled that you’re hanging out with us.”
They walked into a room with two comfortable looking chairs and a large couch. Keith ran ahead and jumped on the couch, spreading himself over it.
Callie felt Ryan come up behind her and slip his hand around her waist.
He whispered in her ear: “I’m so happy you came, and I am happy we got to talk earlier today” She felt him slowly kiss her cheek.
Callie didn’t know how to react and just turned and smiled at him. His blue-grey eyes were as hypnotizing as always, but she somehow found the control to look away. She didn’t know what she had let him think…did he think that they were together, is that what she had not said ‘no’ to. And did he think she was only here to see him?…
Callie skipped over to where Keith was lying in the couch and sat down when he moved his feet.
Ryan walked out of the room, confused why Callie had not responded to him, only smiled.
“Callie, I think you are confusing Ryan...” Keith said when Ryan had left the room. He sat up and moved next to her.
Callie leaned back against his chest and looked up. “Why do you say that?”
“Oh its nothing, just something he said earlier…” Keith flipped some hair out of his face.
“What did he say?” Callie’s voice became obviously stressed, and she started to pull away from him.
“Callie, it really is nothing, I promise!” Keith looked down at her with a dimpled smile. “…and more importantly, are you sure you are feeling better?” He wrapped both his arms around her as she relaxed against his chest again.
“Yep! I am feeling a whole lot better” Callie felt so incredibly safe and relaxed in her friend’s arms right now. Keith was just so easy to be comfortable with. But, she couldn’t help but let her mind start to wander. With their faces only inches from one another it would be so easy to kiss him. They were both foolishly grinning at one another, and Callie closed her eyes just for a moment to resist the temptation.
Just then the door swung open and Callie readjusted herself on the couch so she was no longer leaning against Keith.
“Hey Callie, it’s good to have you with us tonight!” George said happily as he sat down in one of the larger chairs.
“Well, I couldn’t pass up the chance to hang out with all of you!” The door swung open loudly again and Damian came in, followed by Ryan and Paul.
“So I heard the news…that’s a really really early flight though…” Damian said while sitting in the other chair in the room. Callie smiled to herself at the way they all seemed slightly grumpy about waking up early.
Ryan quickly sat on the other side of Callie. Paul turned the TV on and sat down next to Ryan, giving him a harsh glare at him for taking the seat he wanted.
The movie was enjoyable, but whenever Callie laughed at something funny, or reacted to anything that happened she felt three pairs of eyes on her. But, she was having so much fun, and her good mood was still exhilarating.
About halfway through the movie Ryan got up and made popcorn for everyone. But, when he was gone Paul moved over on the couch to sit next to Callie. She looked up at him and he smiled as he relaxed on the couch. He looked down at her and winked with his bright blue glistening eyes. When Ryan came back he glared down at Paul with an angry expression. But, Callie could only give him an apologetic smile.
Sometime during the second half of the movie she felt herself getting sleepy. Her excitement must have worn her out. She rested her head back against the sofa, but as her eyelids started to flutter closed she felt her head fall to rest of Paul’s shoulder.
Callie woke up but was too comfortable to open her eyes. She slowly realized that she was lying on the couch with a blanket over her, then grumbled at her own sleepiness.
“Hey lads I think the lass is awake.” She heard a strong voice come from far away. It took her a few moments to notice it was George and she sat up immediately on the couch.
Opening her eyes Callie noticed the door to the kitchen was wide open and everyone was eating breakfast.
She drowsily rubbed her eyes and heard someone walk in.
“Good morning sleepy-head…” It was Paul’s smooth voice.
She felt him rub her head, messing her hair up further.
“Ugghh” she grumbled and playfully swatted away his hand from her hair, “I can’t believe I fell asleep…. I’m really sorry!”
“It’s perfectly okay Callie” he led her to the kitchen. “How about you eat some breakfast with us and then I can give you a ride back to your house before rehearsals.” Paul already had sat down and was eating again.
“Umm..sure…” Callie was still a little disoriented.
“Callie I’ll get you some eggs, is that ok?” Keith asked while getting up from the table.
“That’s perfect Keith, thank you!” She flashed him a smile. George and Damian also left the table, leaving to get reading for rehearsals.
“It’s ok Paul, I can give her a ride home.” Ryan said, his voice sounded gruff.
Paul dropped his fork and looked up to glare at Ryan. “You don’t think she is going to go on your motorcycle, do you!?!”
“It is perfectly safe!” Ryan jumped up from the table.
“Maybe it is safe but I offered to give her a ride first! Why should you drive her home?” Paul also jumped up from his seat.
“But….but she is my….girlfriend” He yelled. Some fierceness behind Ryan’s eyes seemed to explode.
It was quiet for a moment before Callie blurted out: “No!!”
All of them turned towards her at the comment. It must have been louder than she expected.
She looked at Ryan, he looked so incredibly hurt….
“Um…wait, no I didn’t mean that…but…um…what I meant to say was…” Callie hesitated, not knowing what to say. Ryan, Paul, and Keith seemed to be hanging on her every word…staring at her, wanting her to say whether Ryan and her were actually dating…
Her heart was racing, but there didn’t seem to be any right answer. Just then, to Callie’s greatest joy her cell phone rang in her back pocket. Distractedly she looked away from the three pairs of eyes still waiting for her to answer.
The caller ID on her cell phone said: “Sarah”. It was her best friend, she hadn’t spoken to her in days…
She knew her friend would understand when she explained it to her later…. Callie picked up her phone: “Hi Bobby! I can’t talk right now…” She tried to hold back the lump in her throat as she turned away from Paul, Ryan, and Keith who had horrified expressions on their faces.
Callie hated this more than anything, she hated lying to them, and she hated herself to trying to push them away.
“Callie? Is that you?...I’m confused. And who’s Bobby?”” She heard her friend’s voice across the phone.
“No Bobby, I really can’t talk right now…I’ll call you back later, Ok?” Callie couldn’t help her voice from shaking. She knew they were all still staring at her, and she desperately tried to control her voice.
“I have a feeling you can’t talk right now, ok, just call me back later...?” Sarah said, Callie knew she would understand. The phone line clicked off on the other end.
“Yes, I know we need to talk Bobby but now is not the right time!” Callie slammed the phone shut and turned around.
“I’m so sorry guys…but I have to go, I really have to call him back…”
They all looked hurt, but not as much as before, now they were surprised.
Ryan sat back down in his seat and Keith started to put away pans and dishes. Almost pretending like they had not heard her ex-boyfriend call.
“I’ll take you home now …” Paul grumbled without looking at Callie. He grabbed some keys from his pocket and walked out the front door. Callie followed despondently.
please pretty please comment! ...i beg ya to !! ~~~

ok, mi awesome readers , you have to admit that my updates are normally quite long, so here is something short for today... The car ride home was awkward and quiet, neither Callie or Paul said anything. But she was happy for the silence, she was preoccupied trying to come up with something to say to all of them later.
Callie turned away from the window of the car and looked at Paul. He body was completely rigid and he was gripping the steering wheel tightly.
She reached over and tenderly touched his shoulder with her outstretch hand. “Paul….”
He actually winced at her contact and pulled away. Callie hadn’t thought she had hurt him that badly…she didn’t know why he was acting like this…
The car swerved slowly into the driveway. Callie jumped out and turned back towards Paul.
“I’m really sorry I fell asleep on your shoulder last night….”
Paul gave her a weak smile and leaned across the passenger seat so his face was inches from hers. It was so close that Callie could see the sadness shining in his sapphire eyes.
“It is perfectly ok Callie…” His voice trailed off at the sound of her name, almost to a whisper. Then, still staring into her eyes, he swiftly closed the passenger door, leaving her stunned. Before she could even respond he had already driven away.

Ok, first of all to my awesome readers i want to thank you for commenting and ...well reading too , this story now has over a thousand view (which is blowing my mind), and it is all because of you ...... Later that day in rehearsals Callie subtly mentioned to the lads that she and Bobby were dating again. She thought it would make the whole tour better, and more bearable.
The next couple days passed by quickly, everyone was busy getting ready for the tour. Sharon had Callie working like crazy, and they were both always running around trying to get things in order.
The day before they planned to leave for Dublin Callie was working backstage when she heard the stage door open behind her.
“Hey Callie, we haven’t got to hang out as much lately…” It was Keith, and his voice was soft,. She hadn’t realized how much she missed the sound of it.
“Oh hi Keith.” She barely turned from the clipboard in her hands to greet him.
His feet shuffled slightly on the black flooring during the silence. “Callie..” he started, but hesitated, “…I was thinkin’, maybe your boy-- ….maybe Bobby would want to come over sometime during the tour…maybe…I was just thinkin’ that might make you happy.”
Callie wondered why he was acting like this, trying to make her happy. Maybe he did just want to be friends…But, then the realization hit her, and the shock registered on her own face as she turned around to look at him.
She turned towards him, and he was smiling, a small little sweet Keith smile that made her melt a little inside. And his eyes were shining weakly. But, what could she say now? She couldn’t tell Keith that Bobby couldn’t come, because then he would ask why. And Callie definitely couldn’t say that the real reason was because he did not exist! The lie was over, and out of control…
“I don’t think so…” she said while looking towards the ground.
“Why not?” Keith seemed to be slightly disappointed that she hadn’t liked his idea. He had thought it would make her happier about leaving.
“Well…we aren’t actually going out anymore…I broke up with him…” Callie felt suddenly free, like a load had been lifted off her chest. Finally the lie was over…or at least the ‘Bobby’ part.
Callie immediately felt Keith’s arms around her, and he lifted her off the ground, practically twirling her in a circle. He gently let her feet touch the ground again and she could feel his chin caressed against her forehead. She could hear his muffled voice at a slightly higher octave because of his happiness: “Callie this is so great.”
Although she was slightly confused at this statement her questioning was interrupted by the stage door opening again.
A loud boisterous voice echoed backstage: “What’s up!” Paul sounded like he was in a strangely good mood.
Keith pulled away from her to answer. Callie held onto him for a moment longer, clinging to his loose t-shirt with the tips of her fingers. But, he didn’t notice because he was already skipping off towards the two approaching figures.
“Guess what…” Keith started when Paul, Ryan and him were standing next to her. “Callie and Bobby aren’t dating anymore…”
The grin on Keith’s face was adorable too say the least, he looked like a kid in a candy-store, his face was lit up with delight. Almost immediately Callie was tackled with a hug from Paul. She hadn’t seen the expression that flashed across his face at the news.
Callie was so surprised that she tripped backwards in surprise and started falling. But, the force of the hug also caused Paul to fall forward too. They landed on one platform of the concert set, of course Paul caught her before she hit her head. But, he couldn’t stop himself from continuing tumbling forward and landing on her side.… even then her continued to hug her for a few moments longer.
They were all laughing uncontrollably by the time Callie untangled herself from Paul’s grasp and stood up.
“Wait…why is it a good thing that Bobby and I aren’t dating anymore?” Callie insisted when the laughter had calmed down.
“Um well….” Paul hesitated, trading glances between the lads, “you never seemed… truly....happy.” He flashed her one of his little grins and she hesitantly decided to drop the subject.
“We just want what’s best for you Callie,” Ryan walked over and threw his arms around her. He turned back to see if Paul and Keith were looking. They were chatting and too thrilled to be paying attention.
Ryan moved his face close to hers, so their cheeks were touching, and whispered in her ear: “So where does that put us?...”
He pulled his head away slightly, just enough so his cheek was no longer soft against hers. An obvious flustered expression came across her face.
Callie at this moment didn’t know what to say, or even how to form words. She was caught up in his smell, a deep powerfully attractive aroma. She was hypnotized by his grey-blue eyes that were so incredibly still and unmoving, unlike her own fluttering eyes. And she was caught up in his arms, the strong biceps seemed to pull her closer against his chest with every passing unaccountable moment.
Ryan noticed Callie’s disconcerted expression and smiled crookedly as he leaned forward again and brushed his lips against her cheek.
Without a second thought, with a fraught breathless reply she said: “…maybe…it’s still a maybe.”
