Hello, everybody! I found this site a couple of months ago, and finally decided yesterday that I would join that that I would comment and post my own stories. I hope I do everything right, let me know if I needed to do something I haven't done yet. So, this is really my first CT story, but i am a BIG fan, and have loved reading the ones other people have written. Sorry if I mess up any facts, either about the boys, or about Ireland. I haven't had much time to research all of that, and I prolly won't have time to search anything beyond big things about the lads. I'm not totally sure yet where I'm going with this story, so i would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE any ideas. If you have any ideas for the story, just shoot me a message. And if i don't get any feedback, it's likely that I won't keep posting, so let me know if you like it, or even if you don't. I'm not easily offended by criticism, as long as it's meant to help me improve. So here we go. The first part of my first CT story Please comment!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My best friend Bailey glanced out the window and gasped as we began to land in Dublin, Ireland. I leaned over her to look out the tiny window. It my breath away, too. It was gorgeous! “Wow. Just. . . wow.” she finally whispered breathlessly. “It's beautiful!” “Oh. My. Goodness. It's so amazing! Everyone always talks about how pretty it is, but I didn't realize how much of understatement that is!” I guess I should explain why we were in Ireland, since we live in a small town in Utah. We had been offered amazing scholarships to the University of Dublin, and were visiting to decide for sure if it was the best thing to do. I turned off the iPod that my brother had loaded and given to me before we left. It had a lot of music I had never heard of, including some men's group called Celtic Thunder and a women's group called Celtic Woman. They were both pretty good, but I like Celtic Thunder better. The men in the group all had amazing voices! I had always like country music better than anything else, but this was definitely a new favorite! I especially liked Ryan and Paul. Ryan kind of seemed like a jerk, but he has an awesome voice. Paul seems really sweet and also has a great voice. I LOVED it when he did “You Raise Me Up”. That was already one of my favorite songs, and he did it so well! We saw the seat belt light go on, so we lifted up our seats. “Bay,” I said excitedly. “Can you believe we're really here?!” “I know! It's so amazing! I mean, two years ago we were Juniors at Richfield High School, and planned to go to University of Utah. And now. . .” She trailed off into silence. “Now, we're halfway across the world to get interviewed for University of Dublin! I can't believe it! Who would have ever expected it?” “You may now exit the plane,” came the soft voice of our pilot. “Thank you for flying with Dublin International.” We hurried off the plane, and rushed to baggage pick-up. We grabbed our baggage, went to pick up our rental car and left the airport. We followed the directions that had been emailed to us and finally, after getting lost several times, got to the little house the university had rented for us to stay in on this trip. “Aww, it's such a cute little house!” Bailey said. “I can't believe they actually rented a house for us! I expected that they would put us in the hotel or in the dorms.” “Nope,” I answered. “They said that if we choose to take this certain scholarship, they will be providing this house for us. So they wanted us to experience everything almost exactly like it would be.” We hurried up the walk to the little house, stopping abruptly when a blond head popped up from the other side of the fence. “Hi! I'm Keith! You must be the new students! What are your names? How are you doing?” The blond man asked quickly and all in one breath. Bailey and I stood in shock looking at the hyper sounding man. I was the first one to find my voice. “Hi! Yes, we are the new students. I'm Kelsie McKitrick, and this is my best friend Bailey Johnsen. We're from Utah, in the United States.” “Well, then. Nice to meet you ladies!” He looked at Bailey and winked at her. She blushed. “Well, I'll let you ladies get settled in your house, but if you need anything, here's my number.” After handing us a piece of paper that said “Keith Harkin” and his number, he ran into his house and shut the door. We hurried into our house to look around. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What does everyone think?

Here's some more. There's not much, but hopefully I'll get more written tonight. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We got into the house and had started unpacking our stuff when I realized something. Keith Harkin; that name sounded so familiar. Why did I recognize it? I quickly grabbed my laptop and googled the name and then I realized it. He's from Celtic Thunder! I ran to the room where Bailey was unpacking.
“Bay!! Guess what! You know the neighbor? The really cute guy that you like?”
“What? Pshh, I don't like the neighbor,” she hurriedly said, blushing.
“Yes you do, but anyway! I recognized his name, so I looked it up on google, and he's from that music group that Ben put on my new iPod. The one called Celtic Thunder!”
“Wow. That's crazy. What are the chances? I mean, we come to Ireland, and the first person we meet is famous!”
“You know what's really weird though?” I said, “The website I found said that he's from Derry, I wonder why he's in Dublin.”
“Ya, that's really weird. I guess we'll have to find out.”
I looked at her and grinned. “You don't want to find out about that, you just want to see him again.”
“So not true, Kels!”
“Mh-hmmm. Suuuure.”
As we continued rambling on and on about that, and how exciting it was to have met someone famous, we heard a knock on the door downstairs. We put the stuff down that we were putting in different places, and ran down to answer it. Guess who was there? Yes, of course, it was the person we had been talking about for the last 20 minutes. Keith himself. We carefully tried not to go all fan-girl on him, but he realized pretty quick we knew.
“Haha, something tells me you girls figured out who I am.” He laughed.
“Ya. We did. We hadn't really heard of you until we started listening to you guys sing when we were on the plane, that's why we didn't figure it out right away. We do really like your music, though.” I said.
“Well, glad you both like it! Anyway, the reason I came over, was, my mates and I wanted to invite you both over for dinner. We know how hard it is to get settled in enough to make dinner on the first night.”
“Sure! We would love to!” we said, simultaneously.
“Okay then! Come over at about 6! That gives you an hour or two to finish getting settled in.” he turned around and started to walk away. Just as he walked out the gate he turned around, smiled and waved at us.
“See ya, Keith!” Bailey yelled. I poked her in the ribs. “What?! I was just saying bye!”
“Uh-huh. Sure. Now let's go get ready. You gonna dress all fancy to impress Keith?”
“No!” she protested. “I'm just gonna wear what I would normally wear to dinner somewhere. Jeans and a nice shirt”
“If you say so. I wonder who these friends that live with him are.” I wondered out loud.
“No idea. I guess we'll find out soon. Let's go get ready!”

OK, yet another post. I honestly can't stop getting ideas tonight. Normally I won't have this many posts in this short of time, but something's sure inspiring me. PLEASE comment! So I know if people are reading, and if it's worth my time to continue. I prolly won't post again until I get more comments, (unless I come up with something and can't stop myself from posting ) So please, please, please comment ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We started getting ready, nothing fancy, but still somewhat time-consuming of a process. We ended up just wearing nice jeans and slightly dressy blouses. We both curled our hair, me with my dark brown hair, and Bailey with her blond hair. By the time we were ready, it was about 5 minutes until 6 so we headed over to Keith's. We walked up the side-walk and knocked on the door. The boy who answered wasn't Keith. It was a tall, handsome boy about 16. When he spoke, we were shocked at how deep his voice was. “Hi there! You must be the Bailey and Kelsie that Keith told us about! I'm Damian,” he said kindly. “As in Damian McGinty? From Celtic Thunder?” I asked, excitedly. “Yup, that's me! Come on in and meet the rest of the guys.” “All five of you are here?” Bailey said asked, surprised. “Yes. All five of us.” Came another accented voice from behind him. We jumped at the sudden new voice, and spun around to see another cute guy with dark hair. “Hi, I'm Ryan,” he said as he stuck his hand out to me and smiled sweetly. I looked up at his eyes, and suddenly felt dizzy. I think I'm falling in love. Wait, I haven't said anything to him yet, have I? Oops. “Hi Ryan! I'm Kelsie. This is my friend Bailey.” “Nice to meet'cha both!” He smiled at both of us, and I had to concentrate not to swoon. I wasn't the swooning type, but I sure felt close to it right now. Bailey poked me in the ribs with her elbow, letting me know that this hadn't gone unnoticed by her. Great. Now I was going to get an interrogation when we got home tonight. I saw another guy come up and Damian whispered something to him that made him laugh. He introduced himself to Bay while I was still trying not to gawk at Ryan. “Howdy! I'm Paul, you must be Kelsie.” I nodded, still unable to speak. Shoot, why was this guy doin' this to me? I don't even know him! Two hours ago I thought he seemed like a jerk, and now I was pretty sure I was falling in love. Paul grinned, took me aside, and whispered in my ear. “Why is it that Ryan is always the one that gets the girl?” Wait. What? He noticed? That must have been what he and Damian had been whispering about. Am I really that easy to figure out? I blushed. “How did you know?” “That, m'dear, was easy. You know, the gazing into his eyes, the giggling, the smiling, all the sickening works.” “Oh well, it's just a crush. It'll go away, cause it's obvious he wouldn't like someone like me.” “Only time will tell,” he walked away with a wink. I blushed again then joined the group. Just in time to hear Bailey ask. “Wait. Isn't there another guy in the group?” “Yes, George. He's staying somewhere else, though and should be here in a few minutes.” Keith walked in saying. He grinned widely at Bailey and she blushed while smiling back. Goodness, the two of us blush a lot! Boy, oh boy. This was going to be one interesting evening. We walked into the dining room where a table was set and had a bunch of food on it. George got there, and after introductions Keith told us where everyone was going to sit. Of course Bailey was sitting next to him, and Paul and Damian must have talked to him, because I was placed next to Ryan, with Paul on my other side. Great. The guy I like on one side, and a guy who would be teasing me about it all night on the other. We started eating and the conversation flew around quickly. For the most part it was about the boys and there music. We found out that they were all there for rehearsals before their next tour. And that this house was a house that they all owned together, minus George, so that they could live there when they were in Dublin. We finished dinner, which included many pokes in the rib from Paul if he thought I was flirting with Ryan or was too engrossed in something Ryan said or did. I quickly decided that Paul was going to be a pain in the butt, but he was gonna be a great friend anyway. After dinner Keith invited Bailey to take a walk around that area of town with him while the rest of us moved to the living room to relax and talk. Of course, thanks to Paul, I ended up on the couch next to Ryan. Not that I was complaining or anything! Paul and Damian started watching a football game, George went back to his hotel, which left Ryan and I to talk. “So, Kelsie. What are you in town for?: “I'm just here with Bailey finding out more about a scholarship that we are both being offered. If we get take it, then we will move here permanently and go to school and the University of Dublin. From what I've heard about it, there's a strong possibility that we will take it, and be here at least until we graduate. Should be great!” “Wow, that's really awesome! What field of work is the scholarship for?” “Writing. We have both been writing for as long as I can remember, and somehow the University got some examples and say our grades and offered us this scholarship.” Wow, I'm talking a lot right now. For me anyway. “Sweet! Good luck in that! Now I have another question for you. . .” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ hehehe. cliffhanger!

Well, I got my braces tightened today, so that's keeping me awake. That's the only reason you have another update today. This is three is one day. Please comment more!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “Do you want to go get some desert or something? I know of a great ice cream shop just down the street a little ways.” I breathed a sigh of relief. When he said he had another question, I was afraid that he was going to ask if I had a crush on him. That tends to happen a lot when I like a guy. And since I was about 99% sure he didn't think of me as more than a friend, I didn't want him knowing that I like him. “Sure! I was actually just thinking that ice cream sounds really good! Are we driving or walking?” “I was thinkin' we could walk. It's not that far, and it's actually fairly warm out for here.” “Okay! Well, can we stop by my house first so I can grab a jacket? I think I left my cell phone there, too.” “Great! Let's go! Well, I guess we should probably tell these two goons we're leaving. Paul! We're gonna walk down to the ice cream shop. We'll be back in a little while.” Paul laughed, “'K. You better have her back by 10, young man!” We groaned, and said “Yes, Dad,” as we walked out the door. As we left, I could feel Damian and Paul watching, and slightly hear them whispering pointedly. I ignored them. We stopped by my house to get a jacket and my phone, but for some reason I decided last minute to grab my iPod. We left the house laughing, and suddenly Ryan brought up something extremely random. “Ya know, we should get Paul back for the comment about having you back by 10.” “Hey, that's a good idea!! How can we do it, though?!” We started thinking, and suddenly I thought of something. “Hey, can I see your cell phone for a second?” “Sure,” he handed it to me. “What'cha gonna do?” “Wellll,” I said, as I flipped through his contacts looking for Paul. “I was thinking, since he doesn't know my number, we can text him something weird that might freak him out a little, cause he won't know who it's from.” “Hey, that's a great idea! What are you gonna say?” “You'll see.” I winked as I entered Paul's number into my phone, then started typing a text to him. “I know who you are. I know where you live. I know EVERYTHING about you.” Was the first one. Ryan burst out laughing as we continued walking. There wasn't a reply until we got to the ice cream shop and had already ordered and received our ice cream. “Who is this?” Ryan grabbed the phone and typed in, “Your stalker. Watch your back. I've been following you.” We both laughed really hard as he hit send. The other people in the shop must have thought we were crazy as hard as we were laughing. Just then, we heard Ryan's phone go off with the line “I wouldn't know what to do, I'd be lost without you, watchin' over me.” “Wow, Ryan. You have one of Damian's songs as your ringtone?! Why not one of your's?” He grinned as he grabbed his phone. “What can I say? The kids got a great voice and it's a good song.” He flipped open his phone to read the message. “Hey, it's from Paul. He said that he just got a weird text from some freak with a number he didn't know.” “Bahaha! Tell him to relax and that's it's probably not a big deal.” He hurriedly sent a message saying that, and then got a phone call. This time it was Keith's song “Castles In the Air”. “Wow, Ryan. Just can't stand your songs, huh?” “Hush, so I can answer this.” “Hello?” “Hey, man, what's up?” I looked at him curiously, so he grabbed a napkin and wrote “Paul”. I silently laughed as I listened to this side of the conversation. “Really? Dude, it's ok. I'm sure it's just someone having a little bit of fun with you.” “Fine, we'll be home soon. Just relax and stop freaking out.” He hung up, looked at me, and we burst out laughing. “I can't believe he fell for it!” I said, gasping for breath. “I know, it's hilarious, though!” “I'm done with my ice cream, so should we go try and calm him down?” “I guess so.” We threw our garbage away, and started walking home, all the while discussing how we were going to reveal to Paul that it was us. We got back to the guys' house and barely made it in the door before a very freaked out Paul came up to us, and grabbed us, thankful that we were back to “protect” him. Ryan nodded at me, signaling to start the plan. He took Paul to a couch a few feet away from the chair I dropped into, and started calming him down. I took my phone out, and started writing a text. “Who are you texting, Kelsie?” He asked innocently. I didn't answer, but hit send and then heard Paul's phone go off. He looked at it, then he realized what a coincidence it was that I was texting someone right before he got a text. “KELSIE!!!!!! RYAN!!!! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!” He was getting madder, and madder, but Ryan and I were practically rolling around on the floor, we were laughing so hard! “High five, Ryan!! That was great!” “You two are so mean!” Just then Keith and Bailey walked in and we told them the whole story, which ended up with them laughing almost as hard as us. After a while longer at their house, Bailey and I decided that we should get home, so after getting everyone else's phone numbers, we headed home to get lots of rest before our interview the next morning.

Here's a new part. It's from Ryan's POV, and it kinda covers some of the stuff that was in the last post. Sorry if it's boring, but I wanted to let you know what Ryan was thinking in this time. I kinda rushed the end, because I wanted to get on to the next part. But there are also a bunch of details here that aren't included in the last post. Hope you enjoy. The next post will be more exciting, I promise! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Those girls walked in the door and were talking to Damian, and I immediately felt drawn to the dark haired one. I went up to her first, and introduced myself. She stared at me for a second, making me self-conscious. Did I look funny? Did she automatically hate me? I had no idea. Finally she spoke. “Hi Ryan, I'm Kelsie!” After that stupid Paul came up behind me and started talking to her. Shoot. Then he decided to take her to the side and start talking to her. I was going to have to yell at him tonight. I saw her blushing like crazy at something he said to her, and glared at Paul. What did he think he was doing? Finally Kelsie walked back over and stood by me again. I looked at her curiously, but she just blushed and started talking to Damian. Finally George got there and we headed to sit down at the table. I smiled when Keith told us that I would be next to Kelsie. I also had to laugh a little when he was next to Bailey. No surprise there. They had been flirting back and forth since the girls walked in the door. I glanced at Kelsie then looked pointedly and Keith and Bailey. We laughed and grinned a little bit, as if we were sharing an inside joke. Which in a way, we were. We all sat down and started eating the delicious chicken that Keith and Paul had made. The fact that the two of them made it was a little disturbing, but it was pretty good. After supper, Damian and George quickly cleaned up and we headed to the living room while Keith and Bailey went out on a walk. George headed back to his hotel, and Damian and Paul turned on a football game. Kelsie and I sat on the couch talking. We talked about her school and stuff before I got the nerve up to ask if she wanted to go down to the ice cream shop down the street. “Sure, I was just thinkin' ice cream sounded good. Can we stop by my house and grab a jacket and my cell phone? I think I left it over there when we came over here. I hope my Mom didn't try to call. She would freak out,” she laughed. “Hey, Paul!” I yelled across the room to the crazy guy who sat there with his eyes glued to the TV. “We're gonna go down the the ice cream shop. We'll be back in a while.” He jumped up grinning at us. “Ohhh, are you now?!” He wiggled his finger at me. “You better have her home by 10, young man! Or else.” “Yes, father, dear.” She muttered as we rolled our eyes at him and walked out. We stopped at her house to grab her a jacket and her phone. Almost as an after-thought, she grabbed her iPod. We started discussing a way to get back at Paul for the fatherly comment, and she grabbed my phone and started flipping through contacts. I started going through the music on her iPod, and discovered us! She showed me what she was texting to Paul, it seemed really stalkerish, which would freak him out since she was dong it from her phone and he wouldn't know the number. This was going to be great. I gave her half of the pair of headphones and turned on the song “She”. We got to the ice cream shop after going through a couple more songs by us, and turned paused it to order our ice cream. We got our ice cream and were sitting down when her phone went off. From: Paul “Who is this?” I grabbed the phone and typed in, “Your stalker. Watch your back. I've been following you.” We burst out laughing, and there wasn't a reply for a long time. Then I heard my phone going off. Kelsie enjoyed picking on me about my Damian text ringtone. It was Paul, of course. “Hey man. Some freak just texted me with a really stalkerish message. What should I do?” I replied. “Just relax. I'm sure it just someone messing with you.” I sent the text, and Kelsie and I were again in fits of laughter. I decided that I definitely loved her laugh. It was beautiful. Then my phone went off again. This time ringing with Keith's song “Castles in the Air.” She was once again amused that I had someone's song other than mine for a ringtone. “Hello?” “Hey, Ry! It's Paul.” “Hey, man, what's up?” “What's up? How can you ask that at a time like this?! Someone is stalking me!” “Really? Dude, it's ok. I'm sure it's just someone having a little bit of fun with you.” “I don't think so. They seemed serious. I'm scared,” he whined. “Fine, we'll be home soon. Just relax and stop freaking out” “Thanks Ryan! Bye.” I hung up, slightly annoyed that he was being so dramatic about this, but it was still hilarious. We made our way towards the house, got in and with a fancy plan revealed to him who it was. He got mad, but we got a laugh out of it, and so did Keith and Bailey when they got back. The girls finally decided that they better get home so that they could get plenty of rest before their interview at the college in the morning.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. It makes me smile! Just for the nice comments, I wrote another part tonight. It's really short, but I should hopefully have more tomorrow night sometime. Hopefully a long one. Depending on how much stuff I have to do. So here's a short one for tonight! Not to be selfish, but I would LOVE to have more comments to know that more people are reading it ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I woke up bright and early the next morning. Surprisingly enough, I didn't seem to have any jet lag! Awesome! This is already going better than I thought it would! I took a quick shower and woke Bailey up in time for her to get a shower and get ready before the interview at the university. I blow-dried my hair, delaying putting on the hated skirt that I knew I was going to need to wear to the interview. I HATE SKIRTS! But, I knew if I was going to make an impression on the interviewers, I needed to look extra nice. By the time I finished getting dressed, fixing my hair, and putting on my make-up, Bailey was already done! She gets ready so fast! We decided to head out a little early so that we could grab some breakfast and get to the place we needed to be in plenty of time. “So, Kelsie, what's goin' on with you and Ryan?” Bailey asked as we sat down with our food at the McDonalds we had found. “Nothing. Nothing at all. Unfortunately. I really like him, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't share the feeling.” “He DID take you out for ice cream last night, Kels.” “Yes, but it was more of a friendly gesture. I'm just learning to accept that it's one of those one-sided crushes. Anyway, what's going on with you and Keith?” She blushed, but thankfully this time didn't try to deny anything. “I'm not sure where we stand right now. I really like him, and he said that he likes me back, but we haven't really talked about it beyond that. I hope that he'll ask me out officially. I guess we'll just see. The problem is that they go on tour in a month. So I don't know what would happen then if we were boyfriend and girlfriend. It would probably fall through at that point. And I'm not sure I'm ready for another failed relationship yet.” I nodded. I totally understood what she meant. She had just gotten over her last ex-boyfriend. I changed the subject. “So do you think we should take the scholarships if they still offer them to us?” She nodded. “I think we should. I LOVE Ireland. It's so amazing, and we've been here less than 24 hours.” I laughed. “And you want to be closer to Keith.” to which she actually agreed. That was okay, though, I wanted to stay too, and not just because of Ryan. Actually, if Ryan were the only factor involved, I wouldn't stay. It's gonna be interesting to control my emotions around him, but I love Ireland enough already to make it work. It's not like liking a guy that didn't return the feelings was anything new to me. I mean, that's how it worked out all through high school. Lost in our own thoughts, we finished up our breakfast and headed to the University getting there in plenty of time to look around a little before the interview.

Meanwhile, at the guys house:
The girls left and we started talking about them. They were beautiful, and the guys knew that I liked Kelsie and Keith liked Bailey. So they teased us, to a point where it became rather annoying. But we took it like men and eventually they gave up and went to bed.
The next morning Keith and I were the first ones up, so we started talking in the kitchen while making breakfast for ourselves.
“So, Ry, you really like her, don't you?”
“Ya, I really do, Keith. But I don't think she likes me like that. I mean, we had a blast last night, but there were times when she just looked at me like I was a freak. I dunno what to do. I want her to like me, but. . .”
“I understand. I mean, that's how it was with Bailey the first time out by the fence, but I knew once they were here that she likes me, so maybe Kelsie DOES like you and is just hiding it well.”
“Hopefully. I can't believe how much I like her even though I've only known her less than a day!”
“Love can do weird things to you, bro. Just gotta learn to figure out what's real love and what's just strong liking. Although, if you ask me, I think she likes you. That's what the rest the guys said too. Paul was talking to her, and she kind of implied that she did. Maybe you should just talk to her about it.”
Just then Damian and Paul ran down the stairs, carrying little toys and yelling,
“Howdy, my name's Woody!” Damian screamed.
“Buzz Lightyear to the rescue!” Paul cried loudly. “Buzz Lightyear to Star Command. Come in Star Command. Do you read me, Star Command?”
Keith and I rolled our eyes, but went and grabbed our “characters”.
“That's MISTER PotatoHead to YOU!” I said. “How come YOU don't have a laser, Woody?”
“It's not a laser. . .” Damian sighed like Woody. “It's a little light bulb that blinks.”
“What wrong with him?” Hamm, aka Keith asked.
“Laser Envy.” I said. Then Paul abruptly changed scenes, as he often did.
“I've set my laser from “Stun” to “Kill”.”
“Oh great, if anyone attacks us, we can blink them to death,” said our resident Woody.
“TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!!!!!” Paul randomly screamed. Just then there was a knock at the door. I went and opened it, still holding Mr. PotatoHead in one hand. Much to my dismay, it was Kelsie at the door. Why, oh why was I still holding this stupid toy? What's she going to think of me now?! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In case it was at all confusing. . .
