Well today, I was taking my final as it is finals week at school and this came to mind to write a paragraph describing things about Ryan for my descriptive essay,so here you go! enjoy! oh by the way, I PASSED!!!
Ryan Kelly is a member of a band called Celtic Thunder, he's been with them since the beginning of Celtic Thunder, almost five years ago back in 2008. He's captured the hearts of many children, teens, and adults of all ages. Several of the many noticeable traits about Ryan is that he's kind, caring, filled with
determination and he's Irish. He comes from The Moy in County Tyrone in Northern Ireland. His talent never ceases to amaze anyone! He's been in several theatrical productions including widely known and loved Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar as Judas. His love for music and acting goes back all the way to age seven when Ryan sang a solo with his father
playing the organ at his first Holy Communion. His favorite instrument that he owns is an acoustic guitar nothing can ever separate him from his guitar! When Celtic Thunder is on break from touring, Ryan and his good friend Neil Byrne, who is also apart of Celtic Thunder, have their own tour production called Acoustic By Candlelight. They just tour the states entertaining and meeting their many adoring fans. Just recently in early June of 2012, he was in a serious accident, he fractured his skull
causing him to have to be put into a medically induced coma for six weeks. Many feared he would not survive during his medically induced coma. He was on a ventilator that breathed for him for six weeks as he was unable to breathe on his own. After six weeks he was taken off the ventilator and miraculously, was able to begin breathing by himself. Upon hearing about Ryan's
accident fans held candlelight vigils, offered up comfort to others, fans also held prayer groups, kept a candle burning for Ryan day and night and Ryan's name was mentioned on many church
prayer lists thanks to his many fans support, Ryan got a Second Chance at life. He mentioned at one point in time "if it weren't for you all, I wouldn't be back on stage so soon nor would i have been standing here today, thank you for all your support!"
