Sorry that this isn't such a great story...I just wanted a cute little story about Willis.
****************************************************
Neil, Kolm, and Ryan sat anxiously on the edge of their seats in the Celtic Thunder practice room. This note reading was going on way to long for their taste. Of course, it didn't help that Sharon was a perfectionist and loved to talk.
Ryan glanced to his left and watched as George scribbled something down in his notes about "Red Rose Cafe" being moved to earlier in the show. Under that, "Ryan, pay attention!" was printed and circled. Ryan huffed and turned his attention back to the producer.
Kolm, on the other hand was the model student and copied down all the notes that Sharon dictated. He asked question when it was necessary and only if he was called upon. Kolm was a good actor but the tapping of his foot in the tile floor gave his impatience away.
To Kolm's left sat quite a picture to behold. Neil sat on the edge of his chair, eyes bulging, hands wringing, and feet tapping. Occasionally, he would rake a hand through his hair, leaving it standing on end. The very picture of an impatient teen waiting for the last bell to ring.
"I believe that's it." Sharon said while checking her paper. Kolm, Neil, and Ryan lunged forward out of thier seats. "Oh wait, one more!"
The singers exchanged exasperated looks and sat down. "Our break will be five minutes longer today," she said smiling. "I need my coffee."
"Now the fun begins!" Ryan called as the trio took over the practice room. Neil tossed the Willis ball to Kolm as he flung his jacket over Emmet's head. Emmet ripped it off and dropped the jacket on the floor, never taking his eyes of the football match being played on his laptop.
The guys arranged themselves in a triangle and began tossing the ball.
"Alright," Kolm said,"let's change it up and go lefty!" He and Neil put their right arms behind their backs. A sly smile tugged at the corners of Ryan's lips as he effortlessly caught the tape ball in his hand.
"You're such a cheater, Kelly!" Neil said laughing.
"Fine," Ryan passed the ball to his right hand. "Apparently today isn't Left Handed Appreciation Day."
Neil burst out laughing, "We are so easily entertained!"
"I know, it's sad. All this tweeting about Willis makes us sound like we have nothing better to do." said Kolm. His eyes grew larger in realization and he glanced over his shoulder at Sharon. "Thank goodness she didn't hear that!"
"I wonder what the fans think of all our shananagins." Neil said as he caught the ball and sent it flying.
"They're think we're..." Ryan said as the ball bounced off his right hand. He batted it upward and caught it with ease. Ryan paused to think. "Dorks."
"No, that's just you." Neil said laughing. To his surprise, the tape ball came flying through the air and bounced off the tip of his nose.
Sharon chuckled as she watched the playful banter. She leaned back against the piano. "You're all dorks." She took a sip of coffee. "The whole lot of you."
