Maybe, possibly.. No. That could not be, just couldn't. Erinn was thoroughly confused. In the photo, she was younger than when she had been placed with the sisters. But what could that mean? Could the Moy man be her father? That didn't hold any proof. But what other truth was out there?
If she never asked, she'd never know. Swallowing back all her fear, anxiety, and doubt, she piped up in a small voice.
"Ryan, you don't think that.. maybe.. I could be your.. your daughter?' she questioned, eyes downcast and lips trembling with what she was sure was false hope.
Ryan looked startled by the question, and Damian looked equally taken aback.
'Well, It is true that you do resemble someone I knew many years ago, but I don't think your query to be true. I'm sorry but I just don't think so.' answered the mysterious man as gently but firmly as he could. His past was not something he wanted to dredge up, and especially not with a strange girl. Still, he thought she did bear some resemblance to himself.
Erinn's face fell, dark eyes filling with quiet tears of hopelessness. Never a family, never anyone to rely on. Alone. Alone for the remainder of her miserable and unhappy life.

It was too much for her to handle. Not caring where she ended up, Erinn left the room, and ran down the caverns of corridors. Blindly pushing open a heavy wooden door, she stumbled through stacks of books and sat dejectedly against the wall furthest from the door. People. All the same, nobody can you ever put your trust in! She thought angrily to herself. Quiet sobs racked her body, and her sadness gave way to hysteria. Alone. Utterly alone and unwanted by everyone and anyone. Sparks and colours danced behind her tired eyes, and soon she was dreaming, past scenes dredged up from the meeting with the Moy man.
Swirls of red, patches of green. A swatch of royal purple velvet. There, a man stood tall and unmoving. Not just any man, but Ryan. But this time he wasn't alone. A lady stood across him, her head adorned with a lustrous crown of amber hair. She.. She was beautiful. The kind of woman men wanted, the kind of woman Erinn knew she would never be.

But Erinn had no recollection of her, until now. Whoever she was, the memory man was clearly upset with her. "No. I won't let you!" he told her in a strained voice.
"We shall see about that, now won't we?"
"You can't take that away from me! You have no right!" the memory man grew angrier by the second. Whatever he wanted to keep, it sure sounded important.
In the midst of the din, lyrics of a song from the radio drifted in-between the hostile words and exclamations.
"He will do one of two things, he will admit to everything, or he'll say he's just not the same...."
Slowly, the memory man and the faerie lady faded away, back into the nothingness from whence they'd come.

Short but you have given us one more clue! I think the amber haired lady is Erin's Mom! And that the relationship between Ryan and Erin's Mom went sour and she is leaving taking Erin with her!
