It was a few days before the first Celtic Thunder:The Show debut at the Helix in Dublin, Ireland. Everyone was excited, but understandably a tad jittery as well.
Keith, Ryan, and Zara had all just finished rehearsing,'That's A Woman.' Keith had been inspired by Zara's hardshoe trebles and taps in the number. A lightbulb went off in his head.
When it was lunch break, Keith stayed behind, and borrowed a pair of Zara's extra hardshoes. He didn't really get to dance, the lads only got to do what he had coined as 'swanky walking.' Keith being Keith, he decided to try his hand at dancing in hardshoes.
The first problem was that of course, they were women's hardshoes. Secondly, Keith had never even seen the Eurovision dance clip from Riverdance. He racked his brain, trying to do as he'd seen Zara do countless times, seemingly without effort. The first try produced a sound, to his delight.
But he couldn't quite seem to master the intricate, fast paced style of the movements. Not one to easily admit defeat, he tried relentlessly to prove to himself he could dance his nation's dance as well as Michael Flatley any day of the week!
The result was him ending up on the floor, feet tangled beneath his long legs. Blinking through the bright stage lights, he looked up to a mischevious, grinning fourteen year old Damian; mobile phone in hand.
'Did ya get that last bit on tape, Damo?' asked Keith, hoping nobody would find out abbot his antics.
'Of course I didn't, Keith. Don't worry about it, mate.' replied the young lad.
Keith sighed with relief.
'I got it ALL on tape! Next time, stick to yer swanky walking, Harkin!' advised a smirking Damian.
Damian ran offstage, taunting Keith with the evidence. Damian, Converse clad, made no sound. But the hardshoe wearing Keith Harkin's footfalls were hears throughout the entire venue.
'Damian! Wait till I get me hands on you, I'll dump you into the middle of the nearest lough!' threatened Keith. Clomp Clomp, click clack, the shoes seemed to agree with his words.

okay so that was my first one shot ever! Let ms know of ya like it, if it's bad, comments, etc. I want to know if I should write another one shot in future, or just stick to longer stories. Sorry if it isn't that good, it's hard for me to write short stuff!
