The fictional People article is a good example of why the Lad's though they love us fans want to keep what's going on in thier private lives romanticly,Private! Yes Paul tweets about Dominique sometimes but only when he knows what he is tweeting won't get twisted out of context! Same with George and his family! As for the rest of the lads, they keep quiet. Deidre well done on both updates! I HOPE SHARON DOES SOMETHING ABOUT THIS ARTICLE!

The food came, but I'd lost all my appetite after seeing the article. Quickly after they'd eaten we left and went our ways, tomorrow was the day to find out how this would all end. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ next morning, at hospital
It was weird, now he was the one getting poked and prodded when it was typically me. Odd to see it from the other side of the mirror. A doctor came and took his blood, and hammered on about nothing really important. Dr.Connolly had been with me this whole time, she saw how anxious I was and tried to ease it off.
'Different when it's you, huh?' I asked Damian.
'Yeah, now I see a tiny bit more of what you're going through.'
'Yup.' I replied monotonously.
Suddenly, the results were back. My heart was in my throat, this was do or die time. He gave my hand a gentle, reassuring squeeze, and I just held on to his hand tight as anything. She talked on and on, until the yellow paper slid out from the brown envelope. Glancing at it, she read off the results.
'Well, Mr.Mc Ginty, Ms.McCann, I've news for you both. His blood type is quite opposite from yours, which may or may not have repercussions. We won't actually take his marrow unless we know for sure it will most likely be a success, otherwise we put him at risk of complications that are unnecessary. So, here is the test results. After checking and re-checking the results several times over, in case of mistakes, we have an answer. I'm sorry Mr.Mc Ginty, but you are not a possible donor to Dierdre. Technically, we could still go on, but it would be far riskier than it would be beneficial for you, young man. I'm sorry I had to be the bearer of bad news.'
I almost couldn't take it in. All those hours, the sickness, and then the faint hope he's somehow against odds, a match. But it was wishful thinking only on my part. In reality, I'd to fight this on my own, return to more physically grueling chemotherapy, an hope and pray that against all the stacked odds, I'd eventually come out the other end of this long, harsh road a triumphant survivor.

I could not agree with you more on what you said about private lives staying that way, Auntie. Sadly, some people do not understand this, and that is where it becomes a problem.

Dee! How sad Damo is not a match for her! Come on there has to be somebody connected to CT who is a match! I want Deidre to survive! Did you have the entire CT cast and crew checked? how about checking the CT girlfriends/wife!

'There has to be something else we can do!' my mam was grasping at straws now.
'Mam, I don't think there is. Really.'
'Don't talk like that, there must be another way, besides more drugs that would make you worse.' said Damian, turning an icy harsh look at me, but his gaze softened after a nanosecond. He could never stay mad with me for long. Ever.
'She did say we could still go through with it and try...' he mused.
'But it would maybe not work, and you would get sick too from it, there's complications to taking stuff from one person's body and shoving it into somebody else!' I didn't want to force the issue. He wasn't a match. Move on, people!
'But maybe, it would work! I'll take even the slimmest of chances, it's still a chance!'
'It wouldn't.' I said flatly. Was nobody else getting what she's said, except for me?!?
'You heard her yourself, we could go along and try it, it'd just be a bit worse for me, not you. At this point, I don't care what I have to do, and in my mind, anything's worth a shot if it might make you better, even just a bit. Man, was he ever being persuasive today! It was getting hard not to give into his ideas and just say to heck with it, and to just try. But I didn't give in.
'No, and that's final.' I said.
'But---' he started.
'Please don't argue with me on this!' I pleaded. I knew how hard it was for him to technically be able to help, but also be helpless at the same time.
He sighed, and just nodded.
'If that's what you think is best, then so be it.' <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Now, Christmas was coming in a week and a half. I looked forward to it as always, but not quite as in years past. I hadn't started back on chemo yet, I wasn't considered strong enough. That worries me a little, but maybe it wasn't as bad as I made it out to be.
I'd stopped going to classes at NWRC, for the time being. I felt odd, like there was something I should be doing. Couldn't put my finger on it, though.
It was about half nine in the evening, and I was very exhausted, even though I'd slept all day, eaten pretty much nothing. Mam and Sharon and well, let's be honest; everybody was more concerned than usual.
'Feeling okay?' asked Ryan, sitting on the couch next to me.
'Not really, no. And that's me being honest with you. I don't want to make any of them more scared than they are.'
'Maybe Damian was right. Maybe you should just try it..' he suggested softly.
'I see why everyone wants me to try. But I don't want him to get hurt from it.'
'What do you think he cares about more, a week in the hospital after if anything goes a bitawry, or not having you here for Christmas before he has to carry on, pick up, and go back to work in America.'

'Ryan, you always were the convincing one, ya know that?'
'I know.' he chuckled softly.
'Plus, he would miss some work if I do go along with this crazy plan of his.'
'He dosen't care about missing work! That's the last thing on his mind now, trust me.' he told me.
'I'll think about it, maybe. That's not a yes, you understand. I have to consider the risks to everyone else involved, not just to me.'
'Its that much closer to a yes, though.'
'Its an awful lot to think about, I just hope I can make the right choice, Ryan.' I said, torn between benefiting myself and putting the one I cared for most at risk.
'I'm sure you will.' he smiled and gave me a gentle hug.
Then, Damian's brother came over. Jeez, did they think this up beforehand, or what?!?
'H'lo Emmett.' I said.
'Hey, Dee. Look, I talked to Damian about this whole thing already.'
'What did he have to say?' I was curious, he'd sparked my interest with his comment.
'He said he wished you would let him help you. That he knows you don't want him hurting too, but he said he could take an would gladly take a little pain in exchange for possibly saving your life.'
'I don't know what to do, Emmett.'

'Take my advice, listen to him.' he advised me.
'I've made my choice, I know what I'm going to do.'
'And that would be?' he wondered.
'I'm going to try, s'long as he's okay with everything.'
He burst into a smile, obviously I had said what they'd all been wanting to hear.

Wow! I'm glad Ryan and Emmett talked Deidre into giving Damo's Idea a try! And if this causes Damo to be fired from *Glee*,then Sharon will welcome Damo back to CT with open arms!
