Pedatria, France
“Look at her, Phillip!” Queen Marie sighed through her tear glazed eyes “Isn’t she beautiful? I think her name fits her wonderfully. She’s our little miracle, Phil! ”.
“I know”, agreed King Phillip. “Nicolette Zadora De’Loncre. A name truly fit for the Princess of Pedatria.”
This was an exciting time for the beloved king and queen for you see, King Phillip Chandler De’Loncre, and his beautiful queen, Marie Destinee Hammel De’Loncre, could not have children for a very long time. Until they were blessed with a little bundle of joy named Nichole.
“Suck in, mistress! Suck in!” coaxed the maid of the beloved Princess Nichole. “Edna!” gasped Nichole. “That is as small as I can go! Just leave it as it is.”
M’lady, you know your mother expects you to have an eighteen and a half inch waist and not an inch thicker!” the maid explained as she was interrupted by a knock at the door.
“Knock Knock! Is the birthday girl ready?” the queen sung as she opened the door and stopped short. “Nichole, you look beautiful!” gasped her mother.
“You think so, Mother?” replied Nichole glancing in the mirror at the nervous reflection she saw.
“No, Nichole, I know so!” the queen said as she placed a kiss on the top of her only daughter’s head. “This is one of the biggest nights of your life, Sweetie. Enjoy it! Now….. Let’s go greet your guests! Shall we?” The queen asked as she assisted her nineteen year old daughter through the huge ball room doors.

“I am finally 19, Paul!” shouted Damian through the phone to his adopted older brother.
“I know”, replied Paul. “I can’t believe it! You’re growing up on me, Lad! You have been with Celtic Thunder for four years now! Don’t you think it’s time you start settin’ your eyes on something a little more permanent?”Confused and startled by the remark, Damian could only wonder what is was talking about.
“What do you mean, Paul?” questioned Damian.
“You know like a girlfriend? And this time a REAL one!” teased Paul.
“I know, Paul. I’ve been thinking about the same thing! I guess it’s just because the right one hasn’t crossed my path yet. I know I shouldn’t be picky but I want her to be perfect. And I just haven’t found her yet”, sighed Damian.
“I know what you mean, boy. I know all about it. Well just think about it and make sure you are on the lookout for ‘The one’”, joked Paul. When they had said their goodbyes Damian could only think about what his dear friend Paul had asked of him. Don’t you think it’s time you start settin’ your eyes on something a little more permanent? Replayed in his mind over and over again. But this time has was determined to address the fact instead of ignore it.
