Ok this is just the introduction for my story, It will have more conversation in it with the future posts, but this one is just about getting the plot set up. So, enjoy it, and let me know what ya think.
In all her years, Siobhan had only been certain of one thing. That she, Siobhan Brodie, was different. This however, wasn't just a revelation to her, everyone else knew it as well.
At first glance, all anyone ever saw was transcending, natural beauty. Everything from her waves of tousled, mahogany hair, to her brilliant green eyes, and pouty pink lips, in veritably yelled, Woman. No it wasn't her appearance, though that set her apart in its self. It was the way in which she moved. Where most woman practiced a sultry glide, Siobhan stalked.
Sure she could move as gracefully and smoothly as any other woman, but when she walked, really walked, something in the way her eyes flickered from one thing to the other before finally finding what they were looking for, or the way, she flexed her fingers, first curling them, then tapping, almost as if she were counting down the steps until she reached her target, everything yelled predator.
A predator stalking its prey, that's all anyone ever saw, whether they realized it or not. Wired in their brains was a survival switch, that whenever Siobhan entered the room activated and screamed, Danger. A primal fear, that most subconsciously recognize and naturally vier away. Even her parents had trouble relating to their daughter. As if they were strangers to her curious behavior, trapped in an escalating game of cat and mouse. Though, even with the instinct that she was somehow different, all Siobhan ever wanted was to be accepted. To carve out a niche where she belonged. To find someone that truly understood, and accepted her for who she was, even if she wasn't too sure of that herself. It was that desire to fit in that started her down a winding, uphill path to...well here.
It was just another day, nothing special. The trees danced in the wind the way they always do, and the birds and bees still made their normal chatter, though, there was something on the wind that Siobhan could almost taste in the air that promised change, and this more than anything excited her. Even with that glimmer of promise, she carried on the way she always did, except for the added bounce to her step. Ireland was calling to her, and she wasn't about to miss the invitation, so she made a split minute decision to take a book to the park for a bit of fresh air.
She carefully took her favorite seat, under a large tree, that seemed almost as out of place as she felt, and opened her favorite book, Pride and Prejudice. After what seemed like hours, she caught a whiff of something she just couldn't put her finger on. She looked up to find the source of the odor, but all she could see were leaves blowing in the wind, and a lone runner that must have passed her while her nose was still in her book.
Not knowing for sure where or who the delicious odor had come from she decided that perhaps she had had too much fresh air for the day and headed home to what was sure to be a lonely night.
Well that's it for now, please let me know what ya think and whether I should continue.

Quite short, but there should be more up tonight, so just hold tight.
BEEP BEEP BEEP!!!
Siobhan tossed and turned under her mountain of covers as if fending off a beast bound and determined to smother her to death.
“urg...” Came the muffled voice as she began to struggled to release her arm from its confines to turn off the blasted alarm. “Five o'clock comes too soon. Why did I agree to this again? Oh yes, to save up some money to get out of the cursed town.”
As she got ready for work, Siobhan meticulously reminisced her plans that would shortly take her far from the city, to a place where she could be herself, without prying eyes judging every move she made. “Soon,” she told herself. “The sooner the better.”
Finally presentable for the day ahead, she grabbed her coat and car keys and headed to her mundane job. Upon arriving, she had to fight every urge that sought control over her will, and stroll through the door to Dublin's premier real estate office.
“Hiya Archie” she greeted as she walked past the accountants office door, down the hall to her office.
“Hey Siobhan, I thought you might like to know a friend of mine plans on stopping by. He's thinking of moving to the area, and wants to take a look at the listings.” Archie called after her. “Don't even know if she heard me, ya know a little acknowledgement would be nice. Sure thing Arch. Thanks for the heads up Arch. I'd take anything, but will I ever get it.” he mumbled to himself.
“Never knew Archie had such ludicrous friends. I can't see why anyone would want to move to, well this miserable place. Ah, well a jobs a job.” She muttered to herself while getting things ready for her new client to arrive. 3 hours later his friend had yet to arrive, and Siobhan was starting to get anxious. Sitting still too long was torture to her, but she was determined to get this client out of the way for the day so she could concentrate on other matters. One more hour till her lunch break and still, she was waiting. Finally growing impatient, she picked up her phone and dialed Archie's extension.
“This is Archie, how can I help you?” came the reply through the phone with muffled laughter in the background.
“Archie,” Siobhan started. “When will this friend of your be here, it's almost my lunch break and I don't want to miss...”
“Oh, sorry Siobhan, he's already here, I fear that I've had him tied up in my office catching up for a bit” he interrupted her.
She was growing even more frustrated by the minute. “How long had he been here Archibald?” She grumbled using his much hated name.
“Sorry about the inconvenience, but I value my life too much, so I'm afraid I'm not going to be able to answer that last question. Though, I will send him down to your office right now.” He quickly spurted. “Bye” and he hung up the line.
A few short moments later she began to hear light footsteps advancing toward her door, followed by a short knock. “Come in” she called.

See, I promised more tonight, and I always deliver on my promisses.
The handle turned and in walked the most beautiful man she had ever seen. Everything from his dark raven locks, to his toned body that that looked as if it was chiseled by Michael Angelo himself. Even the simple close he wore looked as if they had been designed for him in mind. The way his simple black shirt clung to his chest, as if even it knew what a work of art its owner was. Even his black slacks seemed to be aware of his statuesque build. Upon seeing him, all Siobhan could manage to do was blink her eyes, and attempt to close her hanging mouth. “Hi, I'm Ryan, you must be Siobhan, sorry about the delay I wasn't aware that you were waiting on me.” came the smooth words out of his mouth. Siobhan was silent for a moment more, before she remembered how frustrated she was with this man for keeping her waiting. “Are you waiting for an invitation? Sit down and we'll get started.” Ryan sat down and Siobhan pulled some papers out of a folder. “We currently have 12 homes on the market that meet your specifications from what Archibald has told me.” “Haha,” Ryan laughed, “you really are still upset with him. I'm sorry, I really am. If there's anything I can do to make up for it, all you have to do is ask.” Siobhan thought for a moment. “Actually there is, for making me miss my lunch break, you're buying.” She quipped.
Ryan smiled. “It's a date!”
“No” she clarified, “it's not” “Right” Ryan conceded, an evil glint of purpose in his eye. “Just two attractive people going to lunch with each other with the intent to learn more about each other. Yup, definitely not a date.” “Urg...” Siobhan growled before grabbing her purse and heading out the door with Ryan just standing there looking as smug as a bug in a rug. “Well are you coming or not? If you are you're paying just for that last comment.” “Yup definitely a date.” Ryan mumbled to himself.
“What was that?” she asked. “Oh nothing,” he said brushing her question off, as he closed the door to her office behind him.

Walking to the parking lot, Siobhan headed to her dark hunter green compact car, while Ryan walked over to his sleek black sports car. She looked over first his black attire then glanced at the black paint of his car and made a mental note. “And what do you think you're doing?” She asked? “Driving?” He asked. “No you most certainly are not, you don't know were to go, and if you were to drive, this would be a date, and it most certainly is not.” she spurted out. Solemnly Ryan walked over to the passenger side and got in her car. She did the same and turned the key to start the car.
...
Again she turned the key.
…
“So my car then?” Ryan asked a manic grin taking hold of his face.
“Fine.” Siobhan grumbled getting out of the car.
Once snugly bucked into his car, he turned the key and the car purred to life. He glanced over at her with a look of achievement in his eyes. “I don't want to hear it.” She mumbled looking dejected in her seat.
Directions were exchanged and finally they pulled into a small family run restaurant Siobhan was a regular at. “I had no idea this was here.” Ryan said getting out of his car walking around to Siobhan's side.
She was unbuckling her seat belt when Ryan opened the door for her. “Uh...tanks.” she said getting out, refusing to take his proffered hand.
Together they walked up the sidewalk to the front door, and once again, he opened the door for her. “Why do you keep doing that? I know how to open a door.” she said.
Ryan chuckled, “Well I figured you could figure out how to open a door, but where I'm from, a gentleman always opens the door for a lady, it's called manners.”
“Oh” was all she could get out, as she tried to hide the blush that had begun to take hold of her cheeks.
“Siobhan!!” came a squeal from across the restaurant. Siobhan looked up to see the owner of the restaurant, Kourtney, coming her way.
“Hiya Kourt.” she said.
“And who might this handsome young man be?” Kourt asked a mischievous smile gracing her lips.
“Oh, no, this is Ryan, he's a new client of mine.” she said trying to clean up the misunderstanding. “He's a friend of Archie's, looking for a place around here.”
Kourt leaned in to Siobhan to whisper in her ear. “If he's a friend of Archie's, then why isn't Archie the one helping him out? He's a looker isn't he?!?” and with that Kourt danced back to the kitchen, no doubt to tell Keith her cook about the newest gossip. Siobhan trying to regain her composure motioned for Ryan to follow her to her favorite booth. Hidden away in the back corner.

Sorry it's been so long, but things have been pretty hectic.
Once they were situated in “her” booth, Siobhan motioned for Ryan to pick up the menu. “The chicken is quite good. In fact, that's what I think I'm gonna get.
Ryan without glancing at the menu nodded and put his menu back up. “Chicken it is.” he said with a smile.
“So...” he said leaning on one elbow. “do you come here often?
Before Siobhan could answer Cristal, Kourtney's younger sister came dancing over a cute “I know something you don't know” look on her face, which just screamed Kourt filled me in, in the back room. “So what can I get you to drink?” she asked Ryan.
“Aren't you gonna ask Siobhan first? You know Ladies first and all?” He questioned her.
“Why would I,” She retorted, “She always gets the same thing. Milk right ?” Looking now at Siobhan.
“Yep” Siobhan piped in. “So what do you want to drink, Ryan?”
“Oh, the same please,” he said now looking at Cristal. “And two chicken lunches while your at it please” He said with his most heart warming smile.
“Coming right up” she said prancing back to the kitchen to no doubt tell her sister what she thought of Ryan.
“So,” said Ryan, now gazing intently at Siobhan. “do you come here often?”
Siobhan laughed a real hearty laugh that made him smile. “You could say that. Now what about you? What makes you want to move to the city? I can't wait to get out of it.”
Ryan's eyes dimmed with understanding for a moment. “It's not really a choice for me. I'm an accountant, and this is where work calls me. You know, the bigger the city the more customers and all.”
“An accountant? Really? You?” She was flabbergasted. “I never pictured you as that.”
“Yeah” he said getting more and more solemn, “it's not exactly where I picture myself either, but it pays the bills.”
Suddenly Ryan observed a look of pure empathy in Siobhan's eyes. She looked up at him from behind her hair and for the first time saw him for who he was. Just like her. Stuck.
“What do you want to do instead of the accounting?” She asked, actually curious about him.
“Sing” he said, passion glowing in his eyes.
“Sing?” she asked. “You can sing?”
“Yeah,” he chuckled. “At least my family and friends seem to think so, but I've never actually had to guts to get out there and do it in public. I guess you could say I'm a bit of a chicken.”
“Will you sing something for me some time” she asked, “I'd really like to hear you.”
“Sure, some time, but not right now, it appears our lunches are ready.”
“Oh” sure enough she looked up and out came Cristal carrying the two plates and glasses of milk.
They finished their meals in relative silence, each occasionally trying to sneak a peak of the other without being caught. When they were finished Kourtney brought out the check which Ryan promptly grabbed before Siobhan could reach for it, which surprised her greatly. She had never met anyone with faster reflexes than her, but she conceded and allowed him to pay for her lunch, sealing that this was more than lunch, this was a date.
On the way out, he once again opened first the restaurant door, then the car door for her, then slipped into the driver's seat and drove back to the real estate office. Where he again opened the doors for her and allowed her to take a seat in her office before taking his.

“Thank you for lunch Ryan I had a good time, and that really means something to me.” She told him.
“You're more than welcome Siobhan, I had a great time too.” he said, “ so where should we start?”
“Oh, yeah,” she said shuffling through some papers. “there are only a few properties in the area that make your criteria.” I have the specs for those right here if you'd like to give them a look through then we can go look at them to see what you think and go from there.” It was all business now.
Ryan looked through the papers narrowing out some of the ones that didn't appeal to him. When he was finished, only two remained. “Um I think I'd like to look at these two” He told Siobhan.
“Alright,” she said taking the two papers he handed her. “Oh yes, I remember these two, both lovely properties. I believe we could go see them right now if you're up to it.” She told him.
“That sounds great.” He said, a huge grin on his face.
Siobhan couldn't help but grin at his boyish enthusiasm. “Alright” she said grabbing her purse, “Let's go.”
On the way out the door Archie called to them. “So where do you two think you're off to now?” he asked with a big grin painted across his face. “Did you kiss and make up for earlier then?” at the last question Siobhan blushed red, which Archie and Ryan by no means missed.
“Yes Archibald, I made up for this morning, and by the way, while we're gone to look at a couple properties, would you mind calling for someone to come up and look at Siobhan's car, I think it's the battery, but it wouldn't start earlier.”
“Sure can, Ryan John Kelly, so did you get to show off your black pearl then?”
Ryan grimaced at his full name being used. “Yes we took my car, and now we are goin' see you when we get back.” And with that he ushered Siobhan back outside to his car.
Once they were buckled in Ryan turned to Siobhan. “I'm sorry if Archie made you feel uncomfortable in there just now.”
“I'm fine Ryan, that was just Archie being himself, I should be used to it, but I wasn't expecting him to ask that. He just caught me off guard.” She explained to him.
Ryan looked skeptical. “Alright” He conceded, “So how do I get to the first house?” he asked changing the subject.
Siobhan gave him the directions and 20 min later they were pulling into the driveway of the first property. I was a 4 bedroom house right outside of the city. Something that Siobhan could see herself living in, far enough out of the congestion of the city, but still close enough to be a short enough commute to work. Complete with a large yard which would be perfect for a dog or children to run around in. She could see him build a live in this house, and the thought of him married with children sent unwanted feelings of jealousy coursing through her veins. She shook it off as fast as she could and proceeded to the front door to unlock it.
Once both were inside of the house, Siobhan started the tour pointing describing all the homes accents including the open floor plan which allowed for a roomier look, with the plus of easy entertaining.
She showed him the spacious Master bedroom and master bath, and the three slightly smaller rooms which would be perfect for any number of things. By the time she had showed him everything, she needed some air. The thought of what better who he would fill the spare rooms with was beginning to be too much for her. “Excuse me Ryan, I need to get some air if you don't mind, please feel free to look around.”
“Are you alright?” He asked, pure concern written in he features.
“Yeah, I just need some air, you can never get enough air in the city, so I'm gonna take advantage of it while we're out here.” She explained to him hurriedly hoping he couldn't see past her lie.
“Oh, of course, I'll be out in a minute.” he said giving no sign of him noticing her lie.
He walked back up the stairs to the master. To see if it was big enough to fit his furniture. Once he was sure that it would all fit he walked over to the French doors that led to the balcony. When he opened the doors, he stepped out and saw...

Siobhan, not taking in the air like she said, but...was she? Yes, but why, why was this sweet angel crying. Was all that went through his head before he went back in the house shut the doors and ran down the stairs desperate to get to her. To comfort her in any way he could. Before he knew it, he was walking out the back door approaching her from behind. He didn't think she saw him, until she started walking away from him, desperate to hide her tears away.
“What's the matter Siobhan?” He ask her trying to find out what was wrong.
“No-Nothing.” she muttered still trying to hide her face from him.
“It's definitely not nothing that's for sure, if it was, you wouldn't be out here like this, please tell me what it is.” He pleaded with her to no avail.
“I-I-I can't” she sobbed, choking on her words pausing for a moment.
Ryan took that opportunity to get close enough to grab her shoulder lightly so she wouldn't try to get away from him anymore. Once he was sure she wasn't gonna try to get away from him, he gently turned her around to face him.
“Now Siobhan,” He said, tilting her face up. “Something is the matter. I don't know what it is, but I want to, so we aren't leaving here until you tell me what's wrong. Please” He pleaded.
She began to grow quiet, her sobs coming to an end, and Ryan just waited patiently for her to tell him what was going on.
“I, I don't know what to say.”she started.
“Start at the beginning then, please” he asked her, now leading her to a bench on the porch, where they could sit down.
She drew a large breath, and paused a moment before she started.
“When we first met this morning, I didn't want anything to do with you. In fact, I just wanted you to go away.” She paused and searched his face for any reaction, when he didn't give one, she continued.
“When we got to the restaurant, things started to change for me. I think it was when you opened the door for me, I've never had anyone open a door for me. I didn't know what to think, and when we got through lunch without World War III breaking out, I think I stopped hating you.” Another pause. Ryan flashed he a small encouraging smile.
“When we got back and you were looking through the available properties and picked my favorite two, I'll admit, it made me smile inside. Not only did you not want to be in the city like me, but you hated your job, and that made me resonate with you just a bit.” After a small nod from Ryan she continued once more.
“When we got her, and I saw the house again, saw the yard, all I could think about was how it was perfect for a dog and children to run and play in. When we went in, and I showed you around, I couldn't help but think that this was a home for a family, not a single man. I-I got jealous, I could see you with your wife and children living here, and...and...”
“Shush” Ryan breathed as he placed two fingers on her lips to keep her from saying anymore. Siobhan looked at him waiting to see some form of anger in his eyes, but all she saw was sympathy.
“Please don't interrupt me, just let me say it and get it all out at once. Is that all right?” Siobhan nodded.
“Ok, First off, I don't have any children.” He gazed deeply into her eyes as he continued on. “Nor do I have a wife, let alone a girl friend.” He smiled a mischievous grin with a twinkle in his eye. “And thirdly, I like you too.”

Just a shorty for tonight.
Siobhan was in shock, all she could do was sit there speechless, trying to put her thoughts together. For some reason, this perfect man liked her, after all the grief she had put him through that morning, he still liked her. As the realization struck, she began to grin a Cheshire grin that not only lit up her own face, but Ryan's as well.
At that moment, Ryan took her hand, gently bringing it to he lips, then looked Siobhan directly in her eyes, and asked an all important question. “Siobhan, I know we just met today, but for some reason, I just feel drawn to you, and I was wondering if you would be my girlfriend?”
If it was possible, he smile grew even bigger at his question. Ryan sat there waiting for her answer and when he didn't get one, he questioned her again. “So will you?” The next thing he realized was Siobhan in his arms.
“Yes, Yes! A million times yes!” she whispered into his ear.
He laughed a jovial laugh, and just held her tight for a few moments longer, loosing himself in her embrace.
Finally he spoke up. “I'll take it.”
“What, you'll take what?” she questioned honestly confused.
“The house silly, how could I not now, you've planned out our lives in this house, so how could I not choose it now.” He asked teasing her now, in his mind, he just wanted this spot on the porch where both of their lives came together to be his forever.
“Really? This is it, you're sure you don't want to see the other because we still have some time...” Ryan cut her off for the second time of the evening.
“This is it, I'm sure, no second thoughts, this is where I want to spend the rest of my life.”
“Me too.” she whispered to herself as she snuggled deeper into he arms.
Unbeknownst to her, Ryan had heard her confession to herself, and the cogs in his head began to turn.

Another shorty, but it's my birthday, so you're lucky you got one at all. Hahaha. Enjoy!
When the sun began to set, Ryan realizing that they had been there for hours nudged Siobhan only to find her asleep in his arms. He smiled gently kissed her hair, then started cooing her name in her ear in hopes it would release her from sleep's hold.
“Uggg....” She muttered as she began to stretch before realizing that she was still in Ryan's arms, and that today had in fact been reality, not the amazing dream she felt it was. “Hi” She whispered with a smile.
“Hi back at ya'.” he told her. “It's getting pretty late, we should probably head back.”
She nodded and proceeded to get up, Ryan following suit, and headed back to his car, still yawning. Once they were both buckled in they headed back to the real estate office. The drive was silent, both recapping on their remarkable days, Silent, but pleasant. They arrived to find Archie sitting in the waiting room, watching the clock and tapping his foot restlessly. When he saw them pull up, he sighed a sigh of relief and chose to stay sitting.
When they entered the door, he chose to make his presence know. “And where do you think you've been all this time?” he questioned her.
She smiled at him and proceeded to her office, quickly answering his question on her way by him. “Out...Dad” Ryan chuckled as he followed her.
For Archie, Out was not an acceptable answer so he quickly followed them to her office hoping to find what had kept them out all evening by eavesdropping on their conversation. He put his ear to the closed door and listened.
“So what now?” he heard Ryan ask.
“Well, it will take me a few hours to draw up the papers, so say tomorrow afternoon, same time?” she told him in a professional manner.
“Right, tomorrow afternoon, it's a date.” He said. His all to familiar smile creeping back onto his face.
“No, it's not” said Siobhan playing along. Both laughed.
Siobhan began to get her things ready to go, grabbing a few papers, then rethought it, and decided to leave them till tomorrow. She grabbed her purse, and Ryan's proffered hand, and proceeded to open her office door, only to find something blocking it from opening.
“Urgahf...” Archie moaned, as the door hit him in the face.
“Have you really stooped so low as to eavesdrop on me now Archibald” she asked with a laugh, the locked her door.
Archie just rubbed his nose, and Ryan just laughed as before, this time grabbing Siobhan's hand and leading her out of the building to her hopefully repaired car. He brought her hand up to his lips then gently placed a kiss on it, before allowing her to get in her car. She put her key in and turned the ignition, and unlike that morning the car growled to life. Smiling she waved at him, showing him that all was good, and she'd see him the next day. Smiling to himself, Ryan walked to his car and got in. When he was buckled he took a whiff of air, and smiled. It still smelled of her, and he couldn't wait to find out what tomorrow would bring.

Hope ya enjoy!
Beep, Beep, Beep
“Arg...” Siobhan grumbled as she reached for her alarm clock. When she couldn't get the beeping to stop, she resorted to throwing the unit at her wall, hoping that would do the trick. It did causing Siobhan to smile at herself.
“It's a wonder that blasted thing still works, as often as it meets a quick stop and sudden drop. Maybe one day it will learn how to turn it's self off after successfully woken me up.” she then smiled to herself, remembering that today, today she would see Ryan again. The sudden realization that she would see him sent her into overdrive.
“Oh...Umf...Got to get out of these covers.” She mumbled trying to free herself from her covers to get to the shower.
The rest of the morning proceeded in a somewhat normal fashion, except for the Four outfit changes, the fifteen extra minutes spent applying makeup, and the three extra products in her hair. When she was finally satisfied with her appearance, she studied herself in the mirror putting a few misplaced strands of hair back where they should be.
“Done!” She piped before looking at her watch noticing that she was running 30 minutes late for work. If she was going to have enough time to draft the closing papers for Ryan before he got there, she was going to have to get a move on, which she did.
Upon arriving to work, she all but ran to her office at once locking herself in and getting to work. Archie, having glimpsed the blur that was her out of the corner of his eye, just smirked to himself, looked at the clock and got back to work.
Meanwhile, across town at his hotel, Ryan was just waking up to his phone going off. He reached for it. “ 'Ello” he grumbled.
“This is your wake up call!” a much to chipper voice announced in his ear. He slammed the phone back down on its receiver, and proceeded to get ready.
First was his shower, which served its purpose, waking him up to a point. Only a point though, to wake up any more, he'd need the power of he miracle drug. Coffee.
His brain having finally unclouded enough to realize why it was dragging, promptly made the decision that Coffee needed to be brewed.
Coffee now brewing Ryan walked over to his suitcase, and searched for something appropriate. As he continued his search, articles of clothing began to fly out all over the room.
A black t-shirt landed on a nearby lamp.
Light wash jeans on the foot of the unmade bed.
A pair of White and green 4 leaf clover boxers, that a friend had given his as a joke, quickly made their home on the corner of the television.
“Ah HA! I knew I packed you!” he said as he pulled out his emerald green dress shirt, and a pair of black slacks.
He promptly got dressed, fixed his hair, and proceeded to his car in order to get over to the real estate office as soon as he could.
“Wow.” was all Archie got out when Ryan walked in.
“Is she ready?” Ryan asked him, trying to keep his smile from overtaking his face.
“If she's not, then just wait for her to finish, I don't want to keep you out here. There's no telling what would happen to me, I value my life too much, but good luck!” Archie rambled waving Ryan out of his office and down the hall.

It's short I know, and Kourt is gonna kill me for it, but here it is.
At the sound of the knock on her door, Siobhan sat up straight in her chair and pulled a few strand of hair back into place. When she was sure that she looked presentable, she called out to “come on in.” At her call Ryan smoothly opened the door to reveal his smiling face. When Siobhan saw it, all she could manage was a mirrored smile and a rosy blush. Ryan chuckled.
“Miss me?” he questioned her, already knowing the answer just wanting to hear her say it. If it were possible she blushed an even brighter shade of rose.
“I might have.” she teased. “but first things first, we need to get all this paperwork filed, so it can go through, the sooner we do, the sooner you can start to move in.”
“No problem,” he told her, “where do I sign?”
The rest of the afternoon was full of paperwork, which Ryan, HAD to read over.
“What kind of accountant would I be if I didn't at least read over it before I sign it.” he quipped.
By the time he was signing the last document it was well into the mid afternoon. As soon as he had curled his last “Y” a very undignified sound could be heard coming from Siobhan's stomach. Ryan looked over at her with a twinkle in his eye.
“Hungry?” he joked.
Siobhan gave a sheepish “yeah” and before she could blush any more, he had her by the hand and was leading her out of the building toward his car.
“I'm driving, I'm paying, and it IS a date.” he joked with her. “Same place?”
She smiled at his enthusiasm. “Yeah.”
“Good, now let's see if I can remember how to get there.” Minutes later, he pulled into a parking spot next to the door. Hurriedly unbuckled and raced to open Siobhan's door before she did. He helped her out of his car and still holding her hand within his, entered the restaurant. The moment the bell on the door rang, Kourtney poked her head out from the kitchen where she'd been chatting up Keith. Her gaze was immediately drawn to their interlocked hands, which caused a manic grin to overtake her face.
“I knew it, I knew it.” she chanted as she made her way to them. “What did I tell you Siobhan? Didn't believe me did you, now look what's gone an happened.” She couldn't stop grinning that knowing smile. “Ooh, I've got to tell Keith! I'll be back with your drinks in a minute. He's not going to believe me!” with that, she quickly made her way back to the kitchen to inform Keith of Ryan's and Siobhan's coupled status.
Siobhan and Ryan couldn't help but chuckle as fate “Keith, oh Keith guess what's” could be heard from the kitchen.
“So...” said Ryan.

Another shorty for your enjoyment, or torture, depending on how you look at it.
“Mmhm” She muttered, now leaning on her elbows, gazing intently into his bright blue eyes.
“What happens now?”he asked her, now serious.
“I don't know.” she told him. “What do you want to happen?”
He now gazed intently into her eyes. “I'm not sure exactly.” Siobhan's heart sank, but he continued.
“All I know, is I want to know you better, to be with you.” He looked nervous. “I don't want you to think I'm crazy or anything, but I can't get enough of you. It might sound stalkerish, but I want to know every move you make. I want to be with you every minute of the day. I've only known you for a day, and yet, my soul cries out to yours.”
Ryan couldn't look her in the eyes now. After a spill like that, he was sure that she wouldn't want anything to do with him. “I'm sorry, I'll just go. I...”
Siobhan moved to get up out of the booth, and Ryan was more than certain that she was leaving. He couldn't look at her now. He wasn't sure if he would be able to bear the look of disgust that must be present in her face. And for a moment he lost it, resulting in a single tear to streak down his cheek.
The next thing he knew though, someone was sliding into his side of the booth, but he didn't want anyone to see him in this state, so he remained as he was. The next thing he knew two fingers were placed under his chin in an effort to raise his head. Thinking it must be Kourt, Tara's friend trying to see what had happened, he kept his eyes closed, not wanting to see the look of what must have been pity written across her face, but allowed his head to be raised so she could see him.
The next thing he knew though was a warm, gentle kiss, grazing his cheek, taking with it the lone tear he had allowed to escape. At once he realized it wasn't Kourt, but Siobhan. She hadn't left him. He hadn't scared her away. His mind soared. Then he realized that he hadn't made a move.
So he slowly opened his eyes to see her looking into his with the most concerned look in her gaze.
She took the opportunity and close proximity to close the distance and give him a quick kiss to let him know it was all okay. He smiled and took her in his arms allowing her to rest her head on his shoulder.
“I'm not upset with what you said Ryan.” she whispered. “Surprised, but not upset.”
“I don't know what it is,” she continued, while she took his hand in hers and began to massage it. “I've never felt this way before, the feeling is so strong. I can understand how you got caught up in it, because I have too.”
She stopped, and waited for him to say something while she continued with his hand.
“Thank you.” He whispered as he kissed her hair. “For understanding.”
“Mmmhmm...” she muttered then looked up at him a look of disbelief in her eyes.
“Are you purring?!?”

Ryan immediately sat up straight in his seat. “What purring? I don't purr. I'm a Man, men don't purr.” he defended himself.
Siobhan chuckled and muttered to herself under her breath. “Yeah, but Male cats do.”
At that precise moment what seemed to be a whirl wind could be seen and more importantly heard coming their way. Both looked up at the same time only to catch a glimpse of what seemed to be Kourt heading their way trying to balance a tray with two plates and two glasses of milk in her hand, and failing badly.
Both looked at each other wondering what could have gotten her in such a state, but decided not to say anything. Choosing instead to wait and see what she had to say. When she came a bit closer, she sat the tray on the table, and took a seat. Waved at them to start their meals.
“Ryan, Siobhan,” she took a breath. “Siobhan, Siobhan, Siobhan, you'll never guess what just happened.” Another breath, then she continued without allowing an answer to her question.
“It was absolutely magical, the single most amaizingly spectacular moment of my life. Ahh...the bliss...” She sighed which allowed Siobhan to ask her question.
“What happened Kourt?”
“Well, it all started when I went back to the kitchen to tell Keith about the two of you.” She started.
***Imagine Kourt going back in time and reliving her story. Music and all if you want. LOL Just use your imagination.***
Kourtney busted through the kitchen door. “Keith” she caught her breath. “Kieth, Keith, Keith. You'll never guess what just happened.” She waited for Keith to answer her.
He chuckled. “And what just happened?” he asked a spark of humor in his eye.
“Siobhan, Siobhan, and Ryan just came in!” She announced.
“Ok, they came in yesterday too, do they want the same thing?” He asked
“Oh, I forgot about that, sure just give them the same.” she answered
“Is that what they ordered?” he asked now laughing outright.
“Ordered?” Kourt looked confused for a second. “Yeah, that's exactly what they ordered” She told him with a low “Yesterday” spoken under her breath.
Keith continued to laugh and put the chicken on, while he waited for Kourtney to tell him what had gotten her in this state.”So?” he asked.
“Oh, yeah, where was I?”
“Oh, that's right! Ryan and Siobhan came in...”she got out before Keith interrupted her.
“Koutney” he said waving his hand in front of her face. “I got that bit already. Yes Siobhan and Ryan are back today. What a surprise.” He said trying to feign mock excitement
Kourtney playfully slapped his shoulder before continuing on. “Yes, but did I tell you they were holding hands? Isn't it wonderful, they're together!!!” She sang.
Kourt got up in his face smiling all the while. “Did you hear me Keith? They're togeth...”
Keith couldn't take it anymore. Seeing her this excited and THIS close, he lost all control, and gently kissed her on the lips. Which caused her to promptly stop jabbering. Keith pulled away, and looked her in the eyes waiting for some kind of sign, any sign. When she finally opened her eyes, all he could see was pure joy. He had made her happy, so he pulled her into his arms.
Kourt couldn't believe it. He'd kissed her. She'd had the biggest crush on her and he'd kissed her. Her mind was a jumbled mess, but the next thing she remembered was opening her eyes and seeing a blond haired god, smiling, staring back at her. Then seeing what he wanted written across her face, he pulled her into his arms. Kourtney was in heaven, then she remembered one thing.
“Chicken” she squealed, “don't burn it!!!”
Keith chucked again, then placed the chicken on the plate along with the sides and handed it to Kourt to take out to them. Giving her hand one last squeeze before letting her escape his sight.
***End Flashback***
Siobhan and Ryan both smiled, and wished her a warm congratulations before pointing out that she had customers waiting. Then continued the remainder of their meal in silence, ever once and a while stealing a glimpse at the other.

Sorry for the long wait, It's been pretty hectic here. But alas everything is right, so I should be back on schedule. So without further adieu here is your much anticipated update.
“Ready?” Ryan asked when they were finished with their meals.
“Yeah, I guess so.” Siobhan replied, getting out of the booth, letting Ryan follow suit.
Once they were back at the real estate office Siobhan checked her mail, and sure enough Ryan's papers had gone through.
“Ryan?” she asked.
“Hmm...” he muttered obviously distracted.
“Well, how would you feel about going over to check on your new house? To see what all needs to be done, what you need to get and such?” She asked a playful smile plastered on her face.
“What?” he asked. “They've already gone through. It's mine?” he asked.
“Yes.” she chuckled holding up the keys just out of his reach.
A big smile began to make it's way across his face. All he could manage was a nod.
“Now?” she asked. Again he nodded. “Alright, let's go.”
Now venturing into “his” house for the first time, pen and paper in hand. They began to make lists of what he would need to furnish the place, this being his first house. Luckily the previous owners had left their appliances so that a big relief.
“How about Blinds?” Siobhan asked Ryan. “Have you thought of what you want, do you even want blinds?”
Ryan looked puzzled for a minute. This was evidently something he hadn't thought of. “I-I I guess I want blinds. Why?” he asked her, with a look of innocence.
“If you want blinds, then we have to measure the windows for them, Ryan.” Siobhan joked.
“Oh,” he said walking over to the nearest window holding his hands out trying to guess their width.
Siobhan was bent over laughing by then.
“No, no, no, no!” she started. “You need exact measurements or they won't fit properly, you do want them to fit properly don't you?”
Ryan just looked at her, completely overwhelmed. “I didn't bring a tape measurer, I didn't know we would need one. I've never done this.” he started
Siobhan quickly stopped him before he could go too far, with a quick kiss.
“That why you brought me.” she stated pulling a tape measurer out of her back pocket.
They both laughed then got back to what they were doing. Once the windows were all measured, and the lists were complete, they decided they had more than earned their dinner, and decided on a nice local pub to unwind from the days hard labors.

Finally, they arrived at the pub. McGinty's it was called.
“Have you ever been here?” Ryan casually asked Siobhan.
“No,” She replied, I've never had much of a reason to come out this way, I live over on the other side of town, and there are quite a few pubs between here and there so never made it out this far, and I'm gonna stop talking now, before, I start to sound like a broken record.
Ryan smiled. “ You could never be broken to me,” he grinned down at her. “So, shall we,” he asked her, extending his arm.
“So we shall,” she smiled taking his arm.
When they entered the pub, they were both immediately enveloped in a cloud of warmth, and music, the smell of “real” Guinness drifting past their noses, making their mouths water. They both stole a glance around the place, looking for a booth to sit in. Ryan was the first to spot one.
“Come on over here.” he said lightly tugging on her arm.
They sat down, and Siobhan took a moment to take a deep breath and drink in the atmosphere. The laughter and story telling. The pub grub that she knew she shouldn't eat, but couldn't stop herself. In that moment, she felt as if she belonged, not just here in this pub, but to the gorgeous man smiling at her from across the table. All it took was a moment, but she knew in that time, that she had found her niche the one she had always dreamed of finding.
Soon after they took their seats a waitress came over and took their orders, quickly heading back to the kitchen. And someone took the mike to make an announcement.
“Attention Ladies and Gents, we're gonna start the Karaoke here in a few. The sign-up sheet will be up here for all who want to give it a go. Tanks.”
“Ryan?” Siobhan asked, “Will you sing for me? You said you would one day, and this is one day, and they're doing karaoke. PLEASE?!?” she begged.
Ryan thought about depriving her, he'd never actually sang in a public place like this, and was a bit nervous. What if he really wasn't that good. What if his family had lied to him all his life, like those people that get up on Britain's got Talent, or the X Factor, that say that their families have told them they can sing, and they end up making fools of themselves. What if he made a fool of himself in front of Siobhan? But there she was in front of him, begging him to sing, not for him, but for her, and he couldn't deprive her of that, so he nodded and headed up to the front to sign up. On his way up, he got a brilliant idea. He didn't know if she would, but he was gonna sign her up, not right after him, but a ways into the night, that way she wouldn't see it coming.
After signing up, he made his way back to his table where Siobhan and a nice tall glass of Guinness were waiting for him. Causing a very large mischievous smile to grace his face. They sat and talked until their food arrived at which time, all talking ceased, so they could dig in. Apparently homemaking had made them hungrier then they thought. Once finished, their plates were promptly taken back to the kitchen, at which time a tall man could be seen making his way toward them. He looked friendly enough, but Ryan couldn't help but start to feel a bit possessive. He didn't know him or what he wanted, but he better tread lightly. As the man advanced, Ryan got up and moved over to Siobhan's side of the table so as to mark his territory.
The strange man just smiled nodded his head and took a seat extending his hand to Ryan.
“Hi,” he started, “I'm ...
