Probably going to be really short. But I'll do my best. All’s Fair in Love and Stalking
“No.” Damian’s head fell into his hands, “No. Nope. Wrong answer. NO. WAY.” His best friend was laughing, “What? C’mon, you need something to keep you from moping about this by the time we reach summer!” “And you think this’ll help!?” He asked incredulously, “I’m not going to do it.” “Well, you aren’t interested in any girls at school…” “I am NOT dating a fan, Liam! Get that through your head!” “Geez!” Liam laughed, pushing his hair back through his fingers, “There’s no harm in looking, though.” Damian rolled his eyes, “She said she broke up with me because I’m away too much. How is dating a girl from the U.S going to be any better? I’m away ever more!” His girlfriend had broke up with him over a month ago. He had to admit, looking at himself, he was being incredibly gloomy about the whole thing. He couldn’t help it though, she’d been his first and only girl friend. It kind of hurt, more than kind of, really. He knew Liam hated to see him depressed but his ideas of cheering up weren’t the greatest. Liam McFarlan had been his best friend since their first day of school together. They looked like near brothers, both with thick dark brown hair and flashing blue eyes. However, Liam grew is hair longer though, more in the style of Damian’s group mate, Keith, and had the scratchy teenage beginnings of facial hair. As they told other people; Liam was Damian if Damian didn’t shave, and Damian was Liam if Liam took better care of himself. “Damo, Damo, Damo.” Liam shook his head, laughing, “American girls are romantics, and would just about die over the thought of a long distance relationship.” “This from the guy who’s never had a girlfriend.” “Never found a girl that’s caught my eye. I mean, I have friends of the gender, you know, but nothing like that, you know.” Damian paused, then broke out laughing, “So that’s it!” “That’s what?” “That’s your idea? You’re not wanting me to check out fangirls for ME! You want to check them out yourself!” “Wha- N-“ He was on a roll, still laughing, “That’s why your pushing it so much, and why you said you HAD to be here for it!” His friend rolled his eyes, dramatically, “Look, this is 100% completely for you, mate. Cross my heart.” And he did so. Damian’s laughter died down, “Really, that’s nice of you. But I’m really not interested in dating another girl, especially not a fan.” “What’s wrong with it being a fan?” “Aside from the whole different country thing? She’d only like me because you know, Celtic Thunder.” “You don’t know that,” Liam replied. “Well, what else would she know about me?” He asked, “And I’d know nothing about her… how are you expecting me to get a fan to date anyways? Go hit on girls at M&G’s? Don’t think their mom’s would be happy about that.” He laughed, then turned to his computer from where they were both at his house, and switched it to two open tabs, the Celtic Thunder and Facebook “The internet’s a grand invention, my friend.” A long pause, “Oh, no. Not me. Defiantly not.” “You say ‘no’ waaaay to much, Damian.” “Stalker.” He said curtly. “Come on,” Liam said again, “What do you have to lose?” Damian rolled his eyes, “I can not believe you are having me look through fans profiles, thinking I’m going to find a girlfriend. This is absolutely ridiculous.” Liam shook his head, “You never know until you look.” “You’re such a creep.” “I’m also your best friend and I really think this will help.” He replied. Damian looked at his friend. He was really doing this to help him. He knew it wouldn’t but if it would make him feel like he’d helped… well, what did he have to lose? “Alright, let’s get this over with.”

Brianna took a deep breath, pacing outside the adoption agency. She saw no reason why this wouldn’t work out, but that didn’t calm her nerves at all. It wasn’t just that she desperately wanted Ashlynn as her sister, but her best friend needed a family after loosing her own, and this was perfect. If it worked. She’d been happy her parent’s agreed to adopting her friend after both her parent’s died. She supposed they knew how lonely Ashlynn would be and how Brianna had always longed for a sister. At last the doors opened, and Ashlynn walked out, clutching a folder of paperwork tight enough to make her already pale skin whiter. Behind her came Brianna’s parents. All three’s expressions were unreadable. “Well?” She asked, in near hysterics. Ashlynn closed her eyes and took a long breath, then squealed, “YOU’RE MY SISTER!!” “AHH!!” Brianna squealed in reply, throwing her arms around her friend, “OH MY GOSH!!! I’m so happy!!” “Me too!! I can’t believe this! I thought I’d be shut up in some miserable orphanage not adopted by my best friend!!” “So you’re happy with this?” She asked, “Really, Ash? I know we won’t compare to your mom and dad…” “Bri, Bri, I’m ecstatic, really. Mom and dad, they traveled so much anyways, I-“ She stopped herself, “I know I’ll be more than happy to be your sister, truly.” She exhaled, she didn’t like the thought of trying to replace her friend’s family if she didn’t want them replaced. But Ashlynn seemed completely happy with the outcome, so she decided she ought to be as well. “Well, I’m glad this worked out too! You’re the best sister in the entire world, Ash.” She blushed lightly, “You too, Bri!” As the girls got driven home, Ashlynn gushed of nothing more than how fantastic it would be to see Brianna everyday. That this was exactly the sort of thing she’d dreamt of. Brianna didn’t think she sounded like a girl who lost her parents, but maybe she was just good at hiding that. She always had been. The two girls couldn’t truly pass for sisters, though they had near identical personalities. True, they were both pale as sheets, and freckled, but Ashlynn’s hair was blonde to the point of being nearly white. It was smooth as white silk as well and cut short around her face, and her eyes a bright blue. Brianna’s own hair was the color of chestnuts, and while also short it curled in framing her face, and her eyes, while bright, a dark brown. As it were both girl’s acted more like twins than their looks would ever give away. Both dreamers, storytellers, and artists. While, Ashlynn’s parents had been scientists. studying earth and anything with it, Brianna’s friend had made herself a master at everything make-believe. She could tell you the history of unicorns or the behaviors of dryads, but wouldn’t be able to tell you the capitol of Canada. Brianna, also interested in the worlds of fantasy, was just as interested in history, Celtic history at that. She had a bit of an obsession with the countries of the British Isles, Ireland and Scotland in particular. She’d gotten Ashlynn into that too, and both girls wanted to move there someday, someday soon. “This calls for celebration.” Ashlynn giggled, as they were pulled up to the house. “Ooooh yes,” Brianna agreed. She knew exactly where her friend was headed with this. When anything very good or very bad happened to either girl, Ashlynn would come over to her house for a showing of Celtic Thunder. And it now that the group had released a second DVD, the showings became a double feature. This was defiantly a Celtic Thunder moment. Her friend sighed, smiling at the screen as it played Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen, her favorite song, as her own sweet sixteen grew closer by the day. Damian was Ashlynn’s favorite, while she never wanted to admit it. She liked to say they were all to perfect to compare, but her feelings for Damian went a little above the other guys, not to a fangirl status by any account though. Brianna couldn’t say she had a favorite either. Five guys of different looks and styles that all appealed to her in a different way, how could she choose? She contented herself with giggling at the boy’s dance moves and her own friend’s swooning. “October can NOT come soon enough, Bri.” She murmured, quietly. October 2nd, the night the two girls would travel to see their favorite group live in Toronto. Brianna laughed, “That it cannot. This is your first CT concert too, right?” “Yes, I couldn’t make it last fall, remember? Your play-by-play was nice enough though.” “Oh it was awful.” She replied, “No words of mine could describe seeing them live. You will adore it.” “I have no doubt I will, sis.” She said, looking at her happily, “I have no doubt.”

Damian was beginning to lose hope. Not that there had been any hope to begin with. Both guys decided the fanforum was too hard, because all you saw were usernames. So Facebook or Myspace would be better, but more stalker like. Damian really didn’t want to go through with it. He stood up from the computer chair with a sigh, “Liam, man, thanks, but no thanks. Really.” Liam sighed looking at him, “Really?” “Really.” “We’ve made it this far…” “I feel liker a creeper, Liam!” He protested, “Please don’t do that to me. Laughter, “I guess I can understand that much, but what else do you suggest?” “I suggest we don’t do anything at all! I promise I won’t mope the rest of the summer!” He added in a sarcastic mumble, “I think I liked the idea of hitting on M&G girls better anyways.” The laughter grew, and with a sigh Damian joined in, unable to stay completely serious around his best mate. A best mate who was still scanning facebook and myspace. Damian had stopped looking, and laughed to himself at the idea that Liam might indeed be looking for a girl, himself. Good for him, he thought, something good should come of this. Not that a relationship between the U.S. and Ireland would really last. “Well,” Liam continued, looking back at the screen, “you could still………..” He trailed off, and Damian looked back him. He was nearly gaping at the screen. Moving back to the computer screen he was the page was open to a girl’s myspace, a Brianna Sifrig. The large background picture showed two girls, and he wasn’t sure which one the profile belonged to. While not on purpose, he was looking at the blonde one in the picture, almost trying to make sure she was real. With her pale skin and even paler hair she nearly looked unearthly. She was certainly unearthly pretty, especially that smile. She was giving an ecstatic grin to the camera as she had her arm around the other girl. He felt his face heat up just looking at her, imagining her smiling at him. “She- she’s… wow.” He heard Liam say beside him, and he almost felt jealous. Damian, he reprimanded himself, he was acting stupid. He’d never thought himself one for love at first sight. It was a stupid idea in itself. But she just gave him this feeling. He wanted to know more about her… This was ridiculous. Trying not to think about it he heard Liam add with a cough, “I mean the blonde one is pretty too.” Damian blinked. So his friend was looking at the other girl. He turned his attention to her. He nearly laughed, for the other girl looked much more like the kind of girl Liam would like. Just as pale as Damian’s blonde beauty, but with darker hair and eyes. She still looked near unreal, like she walked out of some Celtic fairytale, as a noble, if not a princess. “They’re both wow.” Damian replied. He coughed awkwardly. His friend coughed as well, looking like he was having trouble looking away. “Which do you think is Brianna?” He asked. He shrugged, trying to still look indifferent. Falling for a single girl’s picture wasn’t making him feel any less uncomfortable and stalker-ish. “You go ahead and find out.” He tore his eyes away from the smiling face of that girl. “Don’t act like you aren’t interested, Damo.” His friend countered. He blushed. “Look, interested or not, I STILL feel like a creeper, and no two girls… no matter how, well, good looking, are going to change how this idea ISN’T working… So could we stop?” Liam sighed again, sparing the two pretty girls a glance. Finally he shut off the computer screen. “Happy?” “Very much. And like I said, I’ll stop moping. Thanks for trying to do this.” He smiled at that, “It’s nothing. Thanks for letting me try. I know I’m not very smart at these things. “It’s the thought that counts.” Both boys laughed, and Damian was happy to push the girls image out of his head. Still trying to stay on a safe topic he added, “Could you get away in early October?” Liam blinked. “Might take some extensive pleading, but yeah. Why? Gonna finally let me hear your boy band?” “Not a boy band.” Damian said quickly, without any attempt to argue it though. Celtic Thunder would be forever know as “Damian’s Boy band” in his friend’s eyes. He’d grown to be okay with that. “And yes, we have a show in Toronto. I was thinking to invite- never mind. Do you want to come?” “Sure, why not?” He replied, smiling. “Be kind of awkward, though. Me in a theatre with a bunch of girls screaming their love for you and your mates. I’ll feel out of place.” Damian scoffed, “You in a theatre with a bunch of pretty teen girls? Stop making it sound like torture, you’ll have more craic than you’ll want to admit.” He laughed, “True, true. This is going to be epic.”

Oo! Oo! Oo! Absolutely loving this one, Tangy. You've got me sitting on the edge of my seat here. (Well, it would be the edge if I wasn't sitting on my bed at the moment...) I feel like a puppy does when you are getting the leash out to take them for a walk; all happy and eager and full of anticipation of good things to come. I think the whole idea of the "Facebook stalking" is creepy but kind of sweet at the same time... At least, it is how you are writing it.

Brianna had known that the months leading to the Toronto show would fly by, but it was near scary how fast they really did. With home-schooling and other boring events in between the months of August and September just sort of blinked by, and before the two girls knew it, it was the afternoon before their show. “What do you WEAR to one of these things?” Ashlynn asked, in almost hysterics, as she rummaged through the dual closet the sisters shared. It was very uncluttered, but only because it was slowly being emptied into boxes, for moving. It had been decided about a month after Ashlynn had become part of the family that her, or rather, their father’s job would be transferring him to one of a few places in Europe; he got to choose. Sweet father that he was, the moment he’d seen Ireland on the list that’s where they were going to be headed. The girls were just going to get out of home schooling that year anyways, so starting a new school in Ireland would be no more traumatic than starting one at home. So really, Brianna saw no reason to be beyond the happiest girl imaginable. From what she could tell, Ashlynn felt the same way. She shrugged, “No clue.” She whacked her, “You’ve been to one of these before! What do fans wear!? What did YOU wear?” “Ash, my lovely, calm yourself.” Brianna laughed, “Dress, like, like you would on a date.” “But I’ve never BEEN on a date.” She rolled her eyes, “And neither have you.” She sighed, not liking that fact. That, though, was another good thing, it would make moving easier. If she or her sister had had any sort of serious relationship it would have made moving very difficult. Brianna had always been a bit of a hopeless romantic, another trait she shared with her adopted sister. And the combination of that and never having had a guy look twice at her made her a little unhappy at the subject of dating or boyfriends. So, trying not to concentrate on it she continued, “Okay, okay. Would you like me to just pick out an outfit for you? We’re going to be late!” “Very much, if that’s okay.” “It’s more than okay,” She replied, turning to the closet. She gave a glance back at her lovely sister, knowing very well what would look good on her. She pulled out a long yet casual dress in a deep red. It made her eyes look brighter and her hair, a shimmering blonde. She’d look grand. Ashlynn paused, “I’ll feel too dressed up, are you sure?” “’course I’m sure, I’ve been to this before. Besides, you’ve wore fancier.“ “True. What are you wearing?” Brianna paused the dug through until she found a different style dress in a royal purple shade, “This.” Her lips made an ‘o’ and she giggled, “You’ll look like royalty.” She beamed. “Well, you do always say I’m supposed to be a Countess or Duchess or one of those noble titles.” She laughed. “Well, you just look like it, Bri.” Brianna smiled at that, “Well, if I’m nobility, you’re the queen, my sister. You are a million times more regal looking than me.” Ashylnn looked ready to argue that but sighed, “I don’t think so, but thank you.” “You’re most welcome, my lovely,” She replied, “Now seriously. We need to get ready or we’ll be late!!” The time getting ready was just as giggly as anytime with the two girls together. Brianna couldn’t even think about a time before Ashlynn was her sister, though it had only been a few months. She didn’t think she could be happier. Toronto was only an hour and a half from their home, but that didn’t make them any less nervous about being late. Brianna just had a feeling this was going to be THE most fantastic days of nights of her entire life. To be late to THAT wouldn’t be good.
shorter - yes. The more Damian and Brianna's POV's overlap the shorter I think they are going to get.... lol but still good, I hope.

“Geez, your best mate, and here I am getting balcony seats.” Liam said in a loud mumble. Damian laughed nervously, “Hey, not my fault everything else was sold out! We’ve got devoted fans.” Liam raised an eyebrow, sitting backstage with him, “So I see…” “Be glad I’m letting you hang out back here even,” He added. “Right, right, I feel loved.” Liam dropped the sullen attitude and laughed. Damian sighed, relieved. The few months between their stalking day and now had flown right by. Damian would have very much liked to say he had forgotten much about that day, but he certainly had not. The beautiful girl’s face still flickered in his mind, and he found himself hoping she would be at the Toronto show. But it was stupid, he’d seen one picture, one SINGLE picture of the girl and suddenly he was crazy about her. That just didn’t happen. Maybe it wasn’t love, but he knew he just wanted to get to know her better – or rather, get to know her at all. She seemed so interesting, fun… beautiful. In anyways, the rehearsals leading up to the big show were enough to keep his mind generally occupied, and the time that wasn’t spent with that was spent hanging out with the other guys, or Liam. “I’m glad,” He replied with more laughter, “Now seriously, you should probably go find those balcony seats of yours…” His friend scoffed, “You’ve got a half hour, I’d rather not go off and face the masses of hormone driven teens until absolutely necessary.” Damian rolled his eyes, “You’d be surprised…” “About what?” “Not everyone out there is there to see me, you know… so not everyone out there is in their teens. Trust me, you’ve got every age group imaginable out there.” Liam laughed, “I guess I can see that. Though I really know NOTHING about this group.” He added pointedly. His hands went up in surrender, “Hey! I didn’t want to be treated weird or anything back here! I’m the same person!” “I know, I know! That doesn’t mean I couldn’t see at least SOME of the stuff you’ve been working on. You know I love this stuff.” “I told you to come along for the auditions, man, but what was it you said…” Damian trailed off, laughing Liam laughed as well, “I said, I didn’t like the idea of traveling so much. And I stand by it. I’d love to be a musician, but I wouldn’t be able to stand leaving Ireland that long.” Damian shook his head, still softly laughing. He knew very well how his friend felt, for he had shared it with him often. Liam was good at a number of instruments, as well as a decent singer. Damian knew he’d always been a little jealous that he’d had gotten his big musical break but when Damian ever tried to apologize that reasoning was always brought up. “Right, right, whatever you say.” He said, “Maybe someday you’ll find a way to combine the two…” Liam smiled, “I hope so.” There was a bit of silence, as both listened to the bustling chatter of audience members in the theatre not too far from them. “Okay, now I guess I should probably go.” Liam said at last. “Probably.” “Good luck, mate.” Damian grinned, “Thanks, I hope you like it.” “I will, man, I will.”

The show was absolutely phenomenal. Brianna was at a total loss for words. So many changes had happened, but the good kind, the wonderful unexpected kind that made person squeal with surprise and delight. Those were the kind of changes she loved. She had yet to find a single thing she disliked. One of her favorite points was the energy in the theatre; the huge about of screaming and thunderous clapping that ended every song. Brianna’s hands already hurt from the wild applause she added in. She loved sneaking glances at her sister too. Ashlynn sat near open mouthed at every song, completely lost in the gorgeous breath-taking music the 5 men provided. She didn’t miss the blush on her face during Damian’s numbers either. But she would tease her about that later, any words now would take away from the magic that this live concert was. As the men reached the end of their intermission song, Brianna heard the first scream of the person sitting next to her, “GO DAMIAN!!!!!!!!!” Now, there had been plenty of screams of similar things throughout the first half, but those had been girls screaming. This voice that came from beside Brianna was deep and male. Both she and Ashlynn turned their heads to give the speaker and incredulous look. She had heard of guys coming to the concerts, she’d seen a few the last times she’d gone. But they normally came only when related to some female fan. From what she could tell, the young man was all by himself. And not many male fans screamed especially to just one guy He was looking steadily at the stage for a few moments when he turned suddenly to look at the girls, catching their curious expressions. He broke off laughing, a lovely sound, Brianna noted. She still couldn’t see him very well, as the lights for intermission had not been turned on yet. Still his eyes sparkled in the dim light. “No- no,” He was laughing, “I’m – I mean, I know him.” She raised her eyebrows in skepticism. His laughter grew, “No, I really do. We go to school together and he invited me to come. I don’t know how I could prove it to ya, but really, I do.” Brianna’s eyebrows rose higher, but not in disbelief at his statements, just surprise. His accent was coming through the more he spoke. He wasn’t lying. “You two are really friends?” Ashlynn asked, her voice amazed, and a twinge envious. She internally laughed. “Best mates,” The young man replied, “We’ve known each other for – for-“ He trailed off as the lights of the theatre were flicked on. He’d stopped talking to nearly gape at Brianna and her sister. She felt a little indignant and surprised. What was so surprising? Were the two girls younger than he’d pictured? Older? Uglier? Prettier? He was certainly just as attractive as his voice had suggested. Loose, near shoulder length dark hair and the bright blue eyes that were still sparkling in astonishment. He looked like he could be Damian’s brother not his friend. After the moment of stunned silence continued she began to be a little unnerved, “What?” She asked at last. He shook his head, “Ah, nothing, nothing.” A pause, “I feel kinda silly now, we’re sitting talking and we’ve not been introduced. I’m Liam McFarlan” He held out his hand. Brianna couldn’t help but smile at the VERY Irish name. She took his hand first, “Brianna, Brianna Sifrig.” His eyes widened a margin, and he still held on to her hand. She blushed. Her sister coughed and added in, “I’m Ashlynn Sifrig.” She stuck her hand out as well. Brianna smiled at the sound of her best friend sharing her last name. Liam finally took to shaking her hand as well, smiling in a quite charming way, “Sisters, are you? You don’t look much alike.” “I’m adopted,” Ashlynn explained, surprisingly outgoing. Brianna rarely saw her say more than two sentences to someone she did know, much less to a complete stranger, “Just recently, actually.” “Well that’s… good?” He tried, his eyes flicking to hers for a second, as if afraid to touch the subject. She smiled reassuringly. “Very good. Absolutely wonderful.” Her sister nodded along happily. “Well then that’s great.” He replied with a beaming smile that made her heart go a flutter. She couldn’t think of anything to say and so after a moments silence he added, “So, what do you think of the show?” “AMAZING!” Both girls exclaimed at once. Liam’s melodious laughter started up again. “I’m glad of it,” He replied sweetly, “Now, do either of you two have – oh what are they called? Meet and Greets?” They shook their heads and Ashlynn mumbled, “ Sadly, no. His smile grew near mischievous, “Would you like them?”
more love for Liam!! lol

MORE!! That's what comes of bored days...
Damian finally was able to spot his friend at the beginning of the second half. And what he saw surprised him. Liam was talking- talking to a young woman next to him. He was too far away to be able to tell who the girl was, much less what kind of conversation they would be having. He wasn’t sure why he was shocked. He guessed, with how Liam had been complaining about hormone-driven teens, he’d never thought he’d end up chatting with one. And then… And then there was that girl. And the look Liam had been giving the dark haired girl in that picture a long time ago. It wasn’t something light, no. Anyone could tell he’d felt something then. And now, watching him chat up some other girl, it was kind of irritating. Geez Damian! He was still way too… obsessed with the picture of two girls neither knew! It’s not like his friend was cheating on a girlfriend. He sighed, and tried not think about it for the rest of the show. He did okay at that and the ending song came rather quick. As the lights were turned on Damian looked for his friend again. He was standing up followed by not one, but TWO girls. Wow Liam, he thought, quite the charmer, you are. He had M&G’s that night, which he was looking forward to a great deal. The new show was had been a massive success, thankfully. Not that they really had had any doubts. He was happy to hear every fan’s reaction, but he was waiting for his friend more than anyone. He wanted to ask him about what he thought about the show, and who his new friends were. Finally, probably the last to come in was Liam. He was grinning from ear to ear, and then he turned around as if looking for someone to follow him in. No one was there. He sighed. “Missing something?” Damian asked. Liam laughed, holding up his finger, “Just some girls I invited to come with me.” “I notic- WHAT!?” he asked, near appalled, “Did they have M&G tickets!?” “No, but I had the one that counts for two people didn’t I? And well, I don’t think I need one. Cause I’m your mate. So I gave it to them.” Damian buried his face back in his hands, “Okay, yeah that works but WHY!?” Liam simply laughed and turned back open the door again. Just a bit. “Come on,” He said, his voice soft. Damian heard two female voices say in time, “But we’ll feel guilty.” “Trust me, I just told him the whole thing, it’s cool.” Now just a single voice, quiet and musical, “Really?” Laughter, “I’m sure. Now come on, both of you.” He opened the door wider and let the two girls. Damian’s jaw nearly dropped as he first laid eyes on the dark haired girl. Her pale face slightly flushed but in all other way identical to that photo. He was almost scared to see her companion, but at last he looked to her. And yes, there was the beautiful blonde he’d seen on a computer screen all those months ago, standing before him, her face pink and that delighted smile directed AT him. He blushed himself; she was ever more beautiful in person. Liam was still laughing and finally choked out some words, “Damian, I’d like to introduce you to Brianna,” The dark haired girl raised her hand slightly, “And Ashlynn Sifrig.” His blonde’s smile only grew larger. “N-Nice to meet you.” Damian finally got out, “I’m Damian McGinty.” “We know.” The girls answered, giggling. His blush went a little deeper. “It’s nice to meet you too,” Ashlynn added, her voice being the musical one he’d heard before. “Very nice.” Brianna added, “Your friend is very kind.” She turned to give Liam a smile. Damian caught the blush on his friends face as well. “It was nothing, Bri.” Bri!? He suppressed a laugh. “I get to see him all the time, you two deserved a chance.” She beamed and began to have a conversation with him as if he were the one she was there to see. Ashlynn laughed softly looking at Damian, “That really was very kind of him… I really wanted to meet y- the group.” He smiled at her, nearly saying that he’d wanted to meet her too, “Well I’m very glad to meet you too.” She blushed a pretty pink at that. “Thank you.” She almost whispered. Moving to a different conversation Damian knew he should do something to thank Liam later, but catching the looks on his face as he talked to his ‘Bri’, he seemed to be content with this present alone.

Brianna was being rude, she knew it. Here Liam had gone so out of his way to give her and her sister Meet & Greet tickets to meet Damian, and she wasn’t even talking to him. She couldn’t help that she found Liam so incredibly… interesting. He seem genuinely interested in Ashlynn’s and hers friendship, along with both their interests. The moment Brianna had mentioned Celtic history it seemed nothing would shut him up. Not that she wanted him to. Thankfully Damian wasn’t lonely, as Ashlynn had turned to talking to him instantly. All the more reason to continue talking to Liam, she thought, giggling. One thing that still mildly confused her was Damian’s expression when the two girls entered. It was almost identical to the one Liam had had when the intermission lights had come on. What was it about the girls that came as such a shock to the two teens. She sighed, deciding not to pay too much attention to it. She wasn’t sure how long these things lasted but no one was kicking them out so they continued to talk. At the same time she listened to her friends conversation, wanting to hear how that was going. “Really?” Ashlynn had been saying, her tone awed. While her back was to them, Brianna could imagine the boy’s blush. That was cute. He laughed, “Yes, really. Why do you sound so surprised?” “Well,” She was saying, in her quiet voice of someone explaining something obvious, “Aside from Bri-Bri, I don’t know anyone else interested in writing… much less writing fantasy.” Brianna wished to whip her head around right then. He WROTE? My word, could he and her sister be a better match!? She kept that to herself, and concentrated on his reply. “Guess I’m a bit different then-“ “In a good way!” She cut in. They both laughed a bit, which was then joined by Liam’s quiet chuckle, that only she could here. She’d grown silent in her eavesdropping and he’d noticed. She blushed. “I know – it’s not polite.” She told him laughing, “It’s a habit.” He shook his head, “Not a problem, I was doing the same myself actually.” She grinned, “Were you?” “I was. Happy to see my friend happy – he’d been less then that most of the summer.” “Really? I’m happy that Ashlynn is helping him too, then.” A pause, then, “He seemed surprised to see her, or us…. As did you…” His laughter faded but he replied, “Well, you two ARE very beautiful. I’m surprised you don’t get looks like that from every guy you pass.” Her face went red but she punched him lightly in the shoulder, “You are a flirt.” His laughter started again, and he was ready to reply when Damian’s voice came louder. “I think we’re late.” The girls had already had their stuff signed by the young star. Ashlynn met her eyes, and they were sad. She was sad too, this had been more fantastic than she could ever put into words. She looked at Liam, who sighed. “Right, right.” He mumbled moving back next to his friend. They both turned to face the sisters. “It was great to meet you.” They both said at once. Damian opened his mouth like he was going to say something, then coughed, and tried again, “Ashylnn… and Brianna, it was a pleasure to meet you… um.. you both.” Brianna laughed, “Nice to meet you, too.” Ashlynn’s face was red and she didn’t appear to be able to find words to speak, “Pl-pleasure to meet you too, I wish these lasted longer.” She was surprised at her sister’s forwardness. Damian’s face went a little redder, “Trust me, so do I.” Wow. Liam coughed, “Do I get a goodbye, too?” “It was nice to meet you Liam, thank you so much for giving us the tickets.” Ashlynn smiled at him. Brianna was thankful her sister had spoken first, for she could not find a way to phrase her gratitude. “Liam…” but before she could say anything he gently tore her program from her, and with Damian’s pen scribbled something down. As he handed it back he winked, “It was a pleasure to meet you Bri, you too Ashlynn, of course. Talk to you later.” Before either girl could find appropriate response they had to go. They both blinked at each other for a moment before Ashlynn let out a giggle. “’talk to you later’?” Brianna paged to where he signed, then blushing gave her sister a grin. “You never know…”
